Most patient, nice, and caring piercer i have ever met. Cynthia was extremely gentle and not to mention patient and professional while she pierced my cartilage/helix. Explained the entire process from beginning to end and made the experience absolutely lovely. Answered all my questions throughly, I highly recommend her.

I got my eyebrow pierced by Cynthia and it was a great experience! It was my first professional piercing and she made me feel super comfortable and explained everything to me. I will definitely come back for my next piercing!!!! 10/10

My sister and I came in about an hour before closing for a few ear lobe piercings. Paul and Roxy were our piercers. We didn’t feel rushed at all while choosing jewelry and we felt very comfortable throughout the entire process. The area was very clean and both Paul and Roxy took their time making sure placement was perfect. Will definitely be coming back to both of them in a few months!

Went there to the north miami location, to get my ear pierced for the first time but then decided to get a tattoo, for the first time as well. I was welcome as soon as I enter the shop, I really enjoy being there; the shop was really nice. Valentina and Abel were really professional and as for my first experience, I had the best of time. Both of them went above and beyond. I really recommend tattoos by Lou, its a really awesome place, will be back for sure. Thanks for everything.

Every time I’ve been here, the staff has been super helpful and informative. I’ve been having an issue with securing my nose ring, and not only did Paul put it in for me, but he also demonstrated what needs to be done if it ever comes out again. Will be returning and I will definitely be recommending this place!

Tattoos by Lou North Miami treated me terribly! I have spent hundreds of dollars there on piercings and jewelry and one of the last times I went in to get my nose piercing changed, the piercer broke my titanium jewelry and ensured me that she replaced it with another titanium nose stud but after weeks of constant irritation I went to another piercing shop and found out the piercer switched out my titanium for stainless steel which i’m allergic to without telling me because they are cheaper and gave me the wrong type of jewelry. My piercing was so irritated and would not heal until I changed back to titanium at another shop and when I went back to Tattoos by Lou to ask them to just give me a complimentary jewelry of equal price to make up for the titanium jewelry I paid for but instead the managers accused me of lying (even though I bought in the wrong jewelry they gave me and showed it to them) and they were berating and gave me nothing for their piercers wrong doing. Tattoos by Lou will LIE to you about what jewelry they’re giving you, anything to save themselves money and they will do nothing to fix the situation! Do not ever go there if you care about your piercings it’s not safe!PS. I did not yell or belittle your employees, I yelled at the managers who yelled at ME on the phone and accused me of lying even though I bought in the jewelry with me that you all scammed me with. I never raised my voice at anyone inside the store because they were helpful and cooperative but the owners are beyond rude and cheap. There was no documentation of the jewelry because YOUR piercer did it under the table without my permission to cover up for herself and that’s not my problem. I bought in the jewelry and the owners could have checked if it was their merchandise but they chose not to. I never get disrespectful with staff at any store but the owner on the phone got upset that I asked for complimentary jewelry to make up for the stores wrongdoing and accused me of being a liar even though I bought in proof. The owners care more about making money than making sure their customers are okay. Tattoos by Lou til this day has done NOTHING about the fact that one of their piercers gave me jewelry that i’m allergic to without my consent. And they know they are at fault because at first the owner offered me $6 off a piece of jewelry (go figure) and then got upset and gave me nothing. The owner even accused me of causing my own allergic reaction to the jewelry and that it wasn’t his problem even though i’ve only ever gotten jewelry from tattoos by Lou. I have audio recording to show how disrespectful the owners are to customers.

Ive been getting tattooed by Dicky for the past 12 years. He is a true professional and master of his craft. He takes the time to understand your vision and bring it to life. He pays attention to detail and goes above and beyond. The shop and the staff is always very nice. The shop is extremely clean and the prices are fair. Remember you get what you pay for. Lastly, Dan, their piercer is extremely talented and I also highly recommend him. Trust me, go see these guys you wont be disappointed.

They werent busy when we got there. My wife showed the artist what she wanted and he drew it up for her. He then did her tattoo. It was a small tat so it only took about 30 min. They are very friendly and know the business. There is a minimum charge of $100.00.

I got pierced here by the lovely Paul, it was an enjoyable experience and he talked me through all my piercings and just overall made me feel really comfortable sitting in his chair, highly recommend this place they take their time and did a great job!

I went to the shop on Sunday, Christmas eve to get a piercing. I came in at 4:30 & there were several people waiting already. I put my name on the list & was waiting. 2 hours pass by, Im still waiting. I wasnt the last one to come in, but the piercer kept passing my name. I was told that Im finally next, than she took the last person to come in. Are you serious? I ended up being the last one in the shop. After growing impatient I left. Very unprofessional & a waste of my time. I took my business elsewhere. The great Google reviews is why I chose this place to get my piercing, I didnt have the same experience.

This place never misses! Station is sanitary, employees are friendly. They always provide after care instructions and an aftercare kit. Ill be back 😁

Unsatisfied very unprofessional I went in the last week Sunday and there was a girl who was suppose to be a piercer and I honestly don’t think she knew what she was doing she was tryna get my money also you all have a cat literally right in front of door which is very disturbing because there may be customers who are frightened of those particular animals also how are you all a tattoo shop and you don’t have cash that’s ridiculous I put out 100 dollar bill the short girl claim y’all had no cash which is ridiculous I don’t think I’ll be coming back

I was a little skeptical about this shop at first but happy that I decided on going here. I got my nipple piercing (Im male) done here by Felix Akemi, hes well informed and walked me through the process and after care thats needed. He was really confident on piercing me, which was reassuring. I also dont have the biggest nips, but the piercing is healing well. Felix has been easy to contact about any concerns Ive had. Recommend this shop!!

I went to the shop in North Miami and got my first ear piercing after the ones I got as a kid. I was really nervous but the experience was great! Kass was so nice and patient and she told me every step of what she was doing. She was so caring and answered all my questions amiably. This is the first place I have been to but am 100% coming back!

I got my septum piercing done by Mariale at this location! She’s amazing and so clean and careful. A super steady hand and a great eye for symmetry!!! Highly recommend.

I’ve been tattooed by Felix multiple times now and I can only say amazing things, he has always put great care into the incredible tattoos he has done for me and my lady. He also played deftones the entirety of my visit which is my favorite band and it just made my experience a thousand times better. I have many more visits in my future for sure.

His line work and shading is incredible, he is very knowledgeable about tattoos, and he made both the large tattoo I got on my arm and another I got on my sternum look so aesthetically pleasing. I plan on coming back to get more work done with him.I’ve been to many other tattoo shops and has work done by several artists and Danny is, hands down, the most talented one of all!

I took my daughter to get her nose piercing. Cynthia attended to us right away so there was minimal wait time. Ronnie was great at every step and made sure my daughter was comfortable. The process super quick and clean. My daughter was so happy with the work that shes excited to return for the other nostril.

I had my nose piercing by Cynthia and it was great. I was nervous because prior to this I had only had my ears pierced, but it was very easy. They were super quick when doing the piercing and concise about aftercare, and my mom and I were in and out in less than 20 minutes. You should definitely come here!

Amazing customer service! I came in because I had a problem with my nipple piercing that I got at another location and Felix was super nice and explained to me my options and what the problem was and helped me pick out a new piercing that was the correct size and helped me put it on. He also told me new information that the other place never gave me and I’m super grateful! I was in a lot of pain and I’m glad I stopped by. I have 5 tattoos & 1nose piercing. Which I started getting 25 years ago. All of these I received at Tattoos by Lou! A few days ago I lost my nose ring!😞 (Which was still great after 25 years!)Needless to say I was out of town and couldn’t find a comparable replacement! I got back to Miami, went straight to Tattoos by Lou! And they had the very same secure, high quality nose ring! The young lady Patricia (at least I think it’s Patricia, it might be Cynthia! I’m so very bad with names!) Anyway, she was very pleasant, courteous, knowledgeable and professional! I’ve always received the greatest service at TBL! We spoke to Felix over the phone about doing a septum piercing and we wanted to make an appointment. He never said that we dont need make appointments over the phone. The lady at the front desk said shes busy its going to be 30 to 45 minutes. then she proceeded to get up she asked what we wanted we told her that we wanted to get a piercing she went to the back and she said oh our tools arent ean anyway so its going to take like 2 hour to clean the tools. For a place that has no customers and pretty much look like they just opened there is no reason why tool should not be cleaned.I was a returning customer. I will not return again very unprofessional people working in the shop. No it was not busy. Your people were just sitting around. Very lazy and unprofessional. Your piercer didnt want anything to do with our business. The moment we walked in and we asked for piercing she said she was busy. As the owner you shouldnt be lying to people that you were so busy your equipment should have been cleaned and ready to go from the night before. And your employees should be accepting every single person that comes through that door. We went to another place their equipment was clean and they made our money. I wish I could now give you less than one star for all the lies that you said in your paragraph that you wrote. And I hope other people read this and do not step foot into your shop until you get rid of unprofessional people that dont want to do their job.

Customer service was trash. I came in on a Tuesday evening and the guy at the front seemed sad and barely spoke or smiled. Seem like he didn’t wanna be there or he doesn’t like people. He even came across that way on the phone when I called earlier that day. I almost didn’t want to get my piercing changed here because of how dreary the place seemed but I had already waited enough and it’s the closest place to me so I decided to stay. Won’t be coming back though. Also smells weird inside and there’s no music like most studios.

I Love Tattoos by Lou,I highly recommend them. I got my 1st piercing (tragus/left&right)with them in 2008. They gave me the best advice for after care when my piercings were rejecting and now they are all healed perfectly. I’ve gotten 8 piercings with them in total over the years. (Recently got my nose in 2020) Very Clean, Professional facility and every one is super nice, well informed & Passionate in their Profession. Love the team @ Tattoos by Lou North Miami!

I got my first piercings (besides the ones I got as a baby) done here today. I got 2 sets on my earlobes and one industrial, the lady who did my piercings was so sweet, she explained to me how to take care of my piercings, and made the experience very comfortable and nice. Though I didn’t catch her name, if she sees this I want to say Thank You again 😊.

I visited Tattoos by Lou on 3/5/19. The shop was very clean and sanitary, had beautiful displays of the tattoos available. Dan is the person that did my piercing. I found that he was very professional, and knowledgeable. He explained the complete procedure for nose piercing, assured me the procedure wouldnt hurt and that I basically would only feel pressure. Guess What! I experience no pain, and no tears coming from my eye as Ive heard. Id do it again. Kudos to Dan. Thanks for the Awesome experience.😁

Place is a lie got a tattoo and it was like a 5 year old did it beware of little man Danny he doesnt trace the images they say they have been around for 30 years 🤔 they damaged my skin for life and the owners dont care. They havent apologized for what they did the owner said I just wanted a free tattoo thats why little man Danny charged me 240$ dont waist your time or money to damage your skin PLACE IS A LIE A Sin. .

This shop was open and accommodating for a last minute decision. They were knowledgeable and assistive. There were 5 of us who got matching forearm tattoos and one got a nipple piercing. This shop is great. The work was quick and exactly what we asked for.

I went to Felix to get my nose pierced. I’m was nervous because I’ve never got this kind of piercing. I called on the phone and felix answered, he told me to come in and we will get it done. When I sat down with felix and I was contemplating the piercing felix found a way to make it easier for me. It was fast, quick and pretty much painless. Very professional I saw him clean his tools and disinfect my nose more than a couple times. He guided me through the whole experience and in seconds I had my nose pierced. You cannot go wrong with the way felix handles business. Very very very great experience.

Ronnie pierced my ears and the experience was perfect! She was very accurate with the piercing site and listened to what I wanted. This is the second time Ive been here and they are VERY clean and careful as they sanitize everything they use and the area being serviced. (Ive noticed this about them even pre-Covid ;) . Love this place and would come back for all my piercings. Got my nose piercing done here. The staff were very professional and used the best piercing methods and equipment. I did a lot of research to make sure my piercing was done right and Ronni (my piercer) did an amazing job! 3 months later and I have a well healed nose with minimal complications. :)

Tattoos by Lou has some really great piercers, my favorite one being Coco who unfortunately moved out of town. But I went back anyways and met Dan, who might just happen to be the most amazing piercer Ive ever met. Tattoos by Lou is awesome, and the employees there are amazing and super patient and helpful.You should definitely come here if youre thinking about getting any type of piercing!

The guy that gave me my ear piercings was very clean in his procedure by opening a new sterile pack for the tools and equipment for the job. I also found it important that before actually physically piercing my ear he double checked with me that both of the spots he marked with a marker for accuracy were where I wanted them. Thank goodness he did so because one was off a few cm from the other and if he just did so without checking with me as well the job would have came out wrong.He also didn’t seem bothered when I decided to change what kind of earring I was going to use but after he already began cleaning the first pair I chose and changed them for me. Greatly appreciated.

The managers are LITERALLY SO rude and they give bad jewelry.

I paid around $75 to get my nose pierced just for them to give me a nose ring that was wayy too small for my nose. I realized my ring started to sink inside my hole so I gave them a call and they told me to come in. When I got there, I spoke to another piercer since the guy who pierced my nose wasn’t there. I asked if I can switch my nose ring to a bigger one and they said “we only provide one nose ring, this size fits all nose”. How is that even possible when everybody nose is different ?? Then after I explained to her my piercing keep sinking in my hole & it felt like it was pressing inside my nose, she proceed to tell me “maybe a nose piercing isn’t for you”. Don’t waste your time coming here. I went over to Rock-A-Billy in Sunrise & he got it out (after twisting it a lot because it was soo small & literally sunken into my hole) & gave me a bigger ring.

Pretty disappointed, my friend was so excited to get an ear piercing done based on the reviews for this place. A sign on the door said that the piercer doesnt arrive till 4pm. Then at 4pm, the lady inside said she doesnt know if shes coming today and probably will tomorrow. How do you not know if your piercer is coming today especially on a Saturday?? If theyre not coming, dont have the misleading sign out. Customer service was such a disappointment. Just lost a paying customer.

Very unprofessional. Danny and Devin. One talked to me on the phone, said they saw my email and didnt respond for 4 days. The other agrees to do 2 matching tattoos a week in ADVANCED. Then tells me they fully booked and to come back on a day I LEAVE. So unprofessional. Deserves -50 stars. On Superbowl weekend no less. I got 2 days to find a replacement. Im at a lost for words.

My experience at Tattoos by Lou was excellent. Mike did my tattoo, I came in a few weeks before to get info. He was knowledgeable, his work spoke for itself, and he had patience with me. Im going back in a few weeks for touch ups on older tats, but I highly recommend this place, and MIKE is the man.

I got my tragus piercing here, my piercer was Yola, to be honest I arrived a little nervous, but she was so kind and welcoming that I completely forgot about being nervous. I liked how she made me feel safe during the procedure, all things very clean and sge was very gentle. I completely recommend the place and definitely Yola! Im really pleased with my piercing.

I rushed from work to take advantage of the Friday the 13th promotion; I was turned away by the young lady in the front at 9:17pm . She told me that she was done taking piercings for the day. She pointed to the young lady standing in front of me and said that she was her last one. There was no cut off time on the flyer. Customer service was poor. I rather take my money some place else.

I got my first tattoo here, Rob Branham, I believe was his name, 20 + years ago!! He did a phenomenal job and it still looks awesome today! He was very considerate and patient which made me feel comfortable and relaxed!! I still get compliments on it!!

One tattoo shop couldnt provide what I asked for. I then stumbled upon Tattoos by Lou. Walked in and explained my issues with Michelle. She directed immediately to Johnny. He listen to me explain what theme I was going for on my right arm. He started creating my tattoo right there. He took a photo of my face and created an original Chicano clown to represent my kids and me. Hands down one of the best shops in Miami.

I originally came here because it wasnt far from where I lived. I stayed because of the excellent service. I got my septum pierced and they walked me right through it. Even though I had to wait for the tools to be autoclaved, I was in and out fairly quickly for the most part. I really would recommend them, theyre clean, efficient, and the people that work there are amazing. 10/10.

They advertise that they carry a large selection of jewelry, so I went in to switch out the labret for my medusa. Unfortunately, they only had 4 or so style options in the size gauge I needed, so I settled for one. It looked very small, so I expressed my concerns about typical morning swelling and the possibility of the jewelry embedding in my lip, but the piercer said that it would be fine.The jewelry change was relatively easy and not painful, but this morning I woke up to the base of the new labret being consumed by my inner lip. I immediately cleaned the area and switched the jewelry back to the initial piercing labret. It feels like I threw away $20 on jewelry that is not really wearable for me.Also, as I was removing the new labret, I realized the stud wasn’t screwed all the way in and would’ve pinched my skin if it was.My experience with the service was good, but the approval and reassurance of jewelry that wasn’t appropriate, as well as the small selection of jewelry has turned me away a bit. I don’t doubt that this shop and its artists/piercers deliver good work and service, which is why I still gave three stars. Not sure if I personally will return, but I wouldn’t want to stop someone else from checking out the shop.

Unfriendly and apathetic. Had to pay $10 to get my nose piercing put back in which he couldn’t do for some reason and just kept saying just don’t bother it so indifferently. I ended up getting my nose ring back in myself right when I got back in the car in the parking lot.

Great place… I brought my 2 daughters to get their ears pierced and the guy that did it made it a smooth calm experience… there was some paperwork that had to be done and it was done professionally… I even had to bring one of my daughters back to get their ear pierced again because the hole closed up…and the tattoo artist really helped me out

Great place and great people. For the person below who said their friends got infections, it seems like another issue your friends may be having. Once a piercing or tattoo is done its your responsibility to keep it clean and take care of it. I get all my tattoos done here and take people to get piercings and tattoos all the time. Never an issue.

The girl working at the front is rude as all hell for no reason. Miserable person - no idea why shes working a job dealing with people.... so weird. Dont waste your money here, go to the other location. The employees in south beach have normal personalities.... Only go to NMB location if you want to deal with this disturbing little girl

My husband got his first tattoo and I got my 3rd and 4th tattoos done here today by Roger. Honestly the best tattoo artist Ive come across. Took the time to discuss the tattoo designs with us both. Very professional and extremely kind. Definitely will go back to Roger and Tattos by Lou for any other tats we want to get.

I went to get my septum pierced. My artist was the beautiful Ronni...she was very knowledgeable and made me comfortable. But I aint gonna lie, that $#!+ HURTED like hell!! My 2nd most painful piercing. But I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!!!

Took my 16 year old for a belly piercing. I was told that because I was using the groupon it was $10 more than the normal price for this service. Ok I pay the $10. Also know that if you take a child that child will have to produce an id as well the parent to prove it is their child, duh. I then had to sign a piercing release form, no problem. Then I had to sign another parental release form that needed to be notarized. No problem, but alas another $10 for the notary service as well which is performed by Coco on site. Convenient. I appreciated their using strict guidelines with regards to underage patrons. The weird part was I told that the management would not take the printed paper groupon, instead I needed to download the groupon app, pull up the groupon, take a screenshot of it and email it to the managements email address. I wasnt too thrilled with that as I really hate adding apps on my phone but whatever, lets get this done. So enough about that and on to the spectacular service and employees! Coco provided the piercings for my daughter and one of her friends. He was approachable and kind, explained everything, covered all the after care, gave the girls ample time to ask questions and offered valuable advice. I was impressed by the cleanliness and care taken when providing service. So impressed by his professionalism that I had Coco redo a botched cartilage piercing on myself and the other mother had a small tattoo (her first I might add) applied to her wrist. Coco and Charlie, the tattoo artist, made us newbies feel comfortable and relaxed. I would highly recommend them for what we had done and will return should the opportunity present itself where I require their services.

Great service! the guy tht dealt with me was so nice. He kinda helped calm ny nerves as I was gettin a nose piercing. They use sterile equipment and practices and they tell you all about aftercare of your piercings and tattoos. I would recommend this parlour to anyone

Had the worst experience here. The piercer ended up putting my second lobe piercing too close to the first one. Also he put a tongue ring in my ear instead of an actual earring. What “professional” doesn’t know what type of earring to put in. Won’t ever be giving them my service ever again for anything.

Waited 3 hours for a tragus piercing the person told me it was a 10 minute wait they took somebody else ahead of me twice and made me wait to clean the product on top of it excuses and no apologies or accommodations for the three hour inconvenience. Save your money and go else where for better customer service

My Girl got her piercings done over here, place is good and the staff is very friendly. Cant really say much about the tattoos since I dont have any done with them.

I never been here but my mother and her girlfriend did and her girlfriend mentioned that Dave or whatever his name is gave her an attitude,unprofessional,and very rude. My mom got joshua name done in bubble letters which dont even look like it. The whole tattoo look wrong I wouldnt even bother to go get my tattoo from them I rather go to my own tattoo artist in biscayne Blvd. In my perspective this tattoo place doesnt look like they will do your tattoo right.

White guy with a ear tattoo was tending to a customer so naturally I didn’t want to impose.15 passed and As soon as the customer leaves he goes into the back and within 2min grabs his things and leaves. Not once was he courteaous enough to say welcome or someone will be with you shortly. Sat there for 20 more min and nothing. Worst experience at a tattoo parlor in terms of customer service. Won’t take anything away from the artists and their talent but wow.

The service is great but the pricing can be not so reasonable, for piercings the pricing was reasonable but not for my first tattoo. i had called for a price and he gave me one and then pushed it up $20 , the tattoo itself shouldnt had been that much, but over all theyre pretty good.

A few years back I walkeded into to Tattoos by Lou, North Miami on a whim and a recommendation from a drunk dude in a bar. There I met Dickey. He has tattooed a good portion of my body in the last 3 years. His work is nothing short of amazing.he guarantees everything he does and he has the patience of a saint. But... Hes far more affordable than those shops on south beach and wynwood. This is a real tattoo shop with real artists and Dickey is the master.

I got my tattoo done by Joe and couldn’t ask for a better experience. It was my first tattoo and I was told everything I needed as far as aftercare and how to maintain the quality of the tattoo. Amazing shop and a great staff, 10/10.

I gave 1 star because , first i called them asking for prices and he said that i had to go in person ,ok i did and when i got there the guy said that he couldnt give me the price .. in other words they cant give the prices by phone and even in person. I think they dont wanna work or maybe they thought that i didnt have money to pay. But i did other day my tatoo in another place where treat me better.

Wish the Manager would bring in new nostril nose rings like this one . I used to have a clear gem diamond one that I absolutely loved but it was unfortunately washed away in my sink after washing my face a few days ago before I went here and that was purchased at least 5 or 6 months ago same location and they had just that one left and still nothing restocked 🙁. However, I am begging 🙏 and hoping that the manger orders abs drops off a lot more frequently and as well soon in larger quantities as well especially the clear gems in this exact kind of nostril nose ring that looks like a diamond but I hoping that the size of the gem is at least twice the size of the circumference as the current remaining nose rings like the one I bought and show you all here which was the last one in a light light blue like December I believes birthday gemstone but I might be wrong and now what was left was a few reds and few dark blue sapphire coloured for September which is my month but just the opposite of what I wanted and this blue I chose was as close to light coloured or diamond like coloured as I was going to get🤩💍. I really even like to see a section maybe half a box at least or more of 3 times the size around as the left over gems in the nose rings here I have displayed below . Unfortunately I didn’t take pictures while there so this is only my current ☝️ one🤗I unfortunately used to have another account on google maps with over 400,000 views and was extremely involved with it and was a few levels up on the photographer badge and others and because my email with gmail was found on the dark web hackers sold and hacked it and took my information and tried taking everything I owned or might ever own so that Google two verification step is no deterrent for hackers they can use anything chrome, Samsung, etc and access all saved cards logins on file delete them now un-save everything I know it going to suck but not as much as several bills never stopping all day every day for months and months!!!! Smaller shop in a weird location on a main street with limited parking, but well worth the hassle. The staff are friendly and imaginative, their artists and piercers are extremely professional, and they take pride in their business.
