I get all my piercings there, their prices are pretty reasonable and the jewelry that they have is high quality and they also have some pretty cool pieces that you can buy after you are healed. Everyone there is very nice and skilled, and they do walk-ins as well which I think is really nice. I really love that they will also change the jewelry in your piercing for a low price, which is great if you have a hard to reach piercing like a rook or daith.

Haven’t gotten a piercing or a tattoo here yet . BUT I did have amazing customer service, I have been stretching my ears myself for years and the first time I had an issue with an infection starting ,I was worried what to do. Called a few places and no luck, but I talked to a nice lady in the front who got their piercer to give me good advice . Came straight away and got a mist Saline solution.Very clean place and nice people , I would be glad to come here and get some piercings done soon.Thanks again guys !

I walked in for a piercing yesterday. Missy was awesome and talked me through everything. She made me feel comfortable and was thorough in the aftercare directions. They are very professional and helpful. Im really happy with my piercings and would recommend to anyone whos looking for piercings or tats. Excellent service and staff!!!!

Very clean and professional. Great experience for my daughter who had a bad ear piercing at Claires a few years back. Go to a professional to get the ears piercing!! Great price, walk-ins available, if a minor, has to have a birth certificate.

I’ve been here a few times for my tattoos and my wife’s! Sammy is the only tattoo artist I will go too! He’s amazing to work with. He listens to what you want . Also he will educate you on correct size and detail and everything ! If your looking for a tattoo don’t go any where else book with Sammy

They take good care of me every time and its been like 15 times across the tattoo and piercing sides, so I think they probably never suck. Honest with prices. Most recently came to repierce an ear and they found the old hole and reduced the bill automatically by quite a bit. Really appreciate that

Did a walk-in for piercings, very kind and professional staff. This was much faster than what I thought it would be, but I did not feel like I was being rushed, the piercer was so nice and answered all of my questions. I love my earrings, will definitely return if I ever want another piercing!

If your looking for a very relaxed and chill environment I recommend RICKY SPANISH! He’s done every tattoo I have on my sleeve so far. Everytime I’ve came in for an appointment he always uses fresh,clean, and sanitized equipment. Not only that but the vibes are amazing, felt right at home everytime I came in for a tattoo. Ricky is my go to guy, never a disappointment with him. Highly recommend!!!

I went here to get my closed earring holes re pierced. That was done, but I was given a new piercing outside of my original hole. It looks horrible and it’s not clean to insert earrings. So so unhappy with this. I waited the three months to take out the stud and did everything I was instructed to. It looks horrible! I guess I’m team clip ons.

Sam is an amazing artist. Very patient with you. I was terrified the first time I went and he calmed me down completely before tattooing me. I’ve have gone to him since for my tattoos. Pictured is my most recent one. I went to someone else once and was disappointed and refuse to find another artist from here one out. HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend him.

Been a long time customer of Body Ritual for years and for the first time in a long time I finally made it back into the shop today. The young lady at the counter was really friendly and helpful and my piercing looks really nice. The whole process went so quick and nearly painless. I got a helix piercing for a great price, and the piercer Scotty was awesome. It was a smooth and quick process, I was in and out in under 20 minutes. Everyone was very nice and professional.

I got my septum pierced here a few weeks ago. It was super reasonably priced compared to other locations. Scott was fantastic. He explained every step of the process and the piercing was well placed. He made sure the environment was sterile and my piercing never got infected. The jewelry used was internally threaded which was fantastic because many tattoo shops use externally threaded jewelry which can be irritating. I was in Utah at a piercing studio and the piercer there had great things to say about Body Ritual as well. I would absolutely come here again!

I cannot remember her name but the lady who does piercings helped me so much! She is a life saver, when I had no hope for my bridge piercing healing and was about to take it out, she convinced me to keep working with it and gave amazing suggestions. A couple months later with her suggestions, my piercing is healed and have had no issues since! If I ever get another piercing I will definitely be going to her.

Today my daughter turned 16, and she and myself got our nose pierced. We had Brandy, and we were very pleased with how patient, friendly, and most importantly how clean and sterile everything was. Got my septum done today by Missy and it was a super quick and easy experience! I was extremely nervous and just did a walk-in appointment. Missy explained the process and was really gentle. She allowed my friend in the room while it was being done as well. Even though I was extremely nervous and I have a serious fear of needles, it wasnt too bad! I highly recommend going here to have your piercings done.

I have had several piercings before and Ive never had an experience like I did at Body Ritual. Initially my boyfriend and I walked in and began signing the forms as the man at the desk watched videos on his phone and explained nothing to us. Never stated pricing or any other costs associated with our piercings. Then we went back to get our piercings done and nothing was explained or shown to us. The only reason I was able to get some answers to things was because I asked. If I wasnt there with my boyfriend who was getting pierced for the first time he would have not known what questions he even had. We were told we were unable to choose any jewelry and the piercer was talking about a different customer to the other workers while preforming my boyfriends nose piercing. seriously unprofessional and although our piercings turned out fine I honestly would travel 3 hours to go back to the places Ive been than get pierced here again. They just dont seem to care about the people that walk though their doors. Not happy.

I came into Body Ritual for the first time 10 weeks ago when I decided to get my septum pierced. I had read great reviews about Missy, so I called ahead to make sure she was working and that walk-ins were accepted. On arrival, Missy greeted me right away. She was knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. She put my mind at ease. I had only ever had my ears pierced (as a child) prior to this. The entire process was quick and truly painless. I couldnt believe it! Today I went back to get my piercing changed and to ask about jewelry sizes. Although they were busy, I was greeted right away by another knowledgeable employee and was then helped by Missy. I highly recommend going to Body Ritual for your piercing needs!

I got my belly button pierced there about a year ago. They were pretty good, the woman was really sweet and helped me pick out a good ring. She also made the process as painless as possible, and talked me through the whole process. However, I just got my nose pierced today and my experience was really poor. I called ahead to make sure they had appointments available and I was told it was by walk in. I come in, we wait for about 20 minutes without being acknowledged and without being given paperwork to fill out. when we are helped, the woman was very short with us and actually rude, giving us three word answers and a snotty tone. when I was called in to get my piercing, she didn’t give me a choice of jewelry and just choose one. She marked my nose and pierced it and was extremely slow with the piercing and not very precise on the dot she had made. She went through the aftercare instructions way too quickly and I was not able to keep up. I wasn’t offered an aftercare booklet (they are right on the desk) so I grabbed one myself. Not a good experience. When you pay $40 for a nose piercing you want a little bit of courtesy and at least aftercare information.

I just went to Body Ritual with a friend to get some piercings. The employees were really friendly when we came in, and they all quickly helped us. I was pleased to notice the camaraderie in the store as the employees assisted each other throughout the appointment. Missy took care of me, and did such a great job. She answered the questions I had before we got started, then explained the whole piercing process as we went through to help me feel comfortable with everything going on. I have had other work done at Body Ritual in the past, and this time has maintained the excellent service quality I have come to expect from them. THANKS MISSY!

Very good care especially with Covid. They were very patient and informative also reasonable priced. I happened to go to the doctor for my annual physical 4 days later she commented that the piercer did a great job.no signs of infection and looks to be healing great. Lexi is a hidden gem if your thinking about getting any type of piercing go with her! I was so nervous and she literally did everything she could to make me feel better.

Went to Body Ritual to get my first piercing. Piercing was crooked. Staff forgot to have my sign the consent forms until after my piercing. Ultimately had to take it out and got it redone elsewhere. The other piercer I saw did a lot better job sterilizing my nose thoroughly, piercing, and making my experience a positive one. I wouldn’t go here again if you paid me.

I was able to get in right away for a nostril piercing. Everything was explained to me as they were doing it. Very professional and CLEAN!

DO NOT GET PIERCED HERE. I wish 0 stars was an option. I went in to get my septum pierced and the piercer (short blonde guy that looks like the lead singer of limp bizkit) was super dismissive of me the entire experience. After he did the piercing he didn’t asked me to look at it, he didn’t ask me if I liked it, all he did was clean up and walk out of his studio while I was still sitting there. As I looked at it in the mirror, alone in the piercing room, I noticed it was extremely crooked and uneven. I mentioned it to him and he brushed me off and said it was fine, even gaslit me into thinking it was just my nose. I went to another piercer down the road and had her look at it, to which she immediately told me it was not pierced correctly and needed to be taken out. I called body ritual and explained what had happened and asked for a refund to which I was brushed off again. Horrible experience, will never go back or recommend anyone I know goes there for a piercing.

Made an appointment, they saw us on time, easy in and out piercings. I got a cartilage piercing and my son got his ears pierced. Then, 4 months later when he left his earrings out for nearly 22 hours and the holes shut I called Body Ritual and they advised me what to do. Excellent customer service even after the fact. Will totally be going there again for future piecing needs and have already recommended to several friends.

Today (1/15/22) my friend and I walked into Body Ritual as walk-ins and got great service. We were taken care of by Missy and she was great at calming our nerves while also being honest. I got my septum pierced and my friend got her nipples. We’re both greatly satisfied and will definitely go back here for our next piercing.

Love how nice and welcoming the staffs are. I had my belly pierced here and it was quick and easy. I had a lady that pierced me and she was extremely helpful by answering all of my questions and reassuring me since I was quite nervous when I went in. Highly recommend this place.

I dont usually do reviews unless I am extremely dissatisfied with a service. This is NOT the case with Body Ritual. I had an excellent experience with Ashley S. I called and she was very professional on the phone. I explained that I could not get to the business until late. She waited for me and remembered me. She was extremely courteous. But, the most important is that she was patient with me and took the greatest care with me as she had to replace a dermal and she did a new one which was quick and virtually pain free. She maintained that she did not want to cause me any unnecessary pain...LOVE! She took her time to explain aftercare and answered all of my questions. I had an awful experience at the original shop that did my very first dermal and I complained about it big time to Ashley...she never said a bad word about the other shop or piercer. I was VERY VERY impressed with Ashleys professionalism and SKILL. I would recommend her with great confidence. Bless you Ashley for the great care you took with me.

Perfect service and wonderful environment! Robyn specifically is beyond amazing- youll walk out with a gorgeous and extremely well-performed piercing. Shes extremely experienced and has the most fabulous bedside manner. Please go see her if youre interested in a piercing. She is more than happy to go above and beyond with answering questions and concerns, extremely professional and sterile during the entire procedure, and will spend extra time going over proper aftercare. She does all my piercings and I would never want to go to anyone else!!

I got my nose pierced by the wonderful Missy. She was very professional and extremely knowledgeable about her work. The placement of the nose ring was absolutely perfect and I am in love with my piercing!!! My experience at body ritual was top notch. They also had precautions in place for Covid and I felt really safe. Missy was amazing. I would get another piercing from her any day. I highly recommend!

I had my septum done there very sweet lady.. sadly I havent been able to replace both balls on my piercing since I took out the original for cleaning. Gets caught in my hair, clothes and everything!!! Which was like 2-3 years ago. So I finally had time to stop and pay for someone to swap out my jewelry.. and was kind of coldly turned away... Cause the piercing person wasnt in. No come back at nothing just slam door in my face.

Absolutely terrible customer service. Made me pay for a mask because I did not have one, but both piercers and receptionist were not wearing one. Had me pay before they took me back for my piercing, then told me there would be no way to pierce me without it being crooked. My card hasn’t been refunded yet which doesn’t take long to go back to my account when the payment and refund are not even 10 minutes apart. I took myself to another shop and they pierced me no problem with no crooked piercing. I will not recommend this place nor will I go there ever again.

I got my septum pierced here about a year ago and had no issues with it. It was clean, quick, correctly placed, and healed properly.Service was good. I called ahead to find out if they did walk-ins and to find out what it cost and then popped over there. It was a short wait and there was plenty of seating for waiting.I dont remember the exact price for the piercing, but it was within the range of what I know people generally pay for a septum piercing.When I get my next piercing done, I will go back.

I been going here since I was 16 of course with parent permission. Grown cant tell my age, but from piercing to tattoos, amazing job, process quick and easy. Great staff, great atmosphere. Reasonable price, for what you are getting. Love it, would recommend anyone to go. Just know what you want and what you willing to pay 4, but the staff will work with you!!!👍👍👍👍

Came in on a Sunday with a piercing emergency because I lost the ball for my piercing.I told them it was a 2g. They didn’t have any balls for it but they did sell me barbell that was purported to be 2g.I bought it, inserted it in the piercing and it promptly fell out (even with the ball in - it was so small). In fact it fell out 3 more times in an evening because it was so miss-sized.And these were supposed to be the experts.They also don’t refund jewelry, even if they sell you the wrong size.Learn from my $20 lesson. Stay away from here!

Cold people, weird atmosphere. These people are unfriendly. Customers shouldn’t feel like they are bothering people for trying to come in and spend money for a tattoo - we felt like we would have to earn their desire to tattoo us haha. Why would someone trust you to tattoo them when you don’t show any of your own designs when asked and show zero interest in helping. Dude was literally just standing there on his Nintendo Switch and other workers just so bothered that we walked in. Weird as hell! Don’t go here!

I had a great experience with body Ritual. I called and got an appointment the same day. I had to go in by myself, wearing a mask due to Covid. The staff was wearing a mask the whole time. They were friendly and knowledgeable about the piercing I was getting ( nose piercing). The whole process was quick and done in a clean environment. I would highly recommend this business.

I’ve had two bad experiences here and have heard many horror stories. The first time I came, I wanted my septum pierced. The piercer clamped it and put the needle half way through my septum, then realized her clamp was broken, so just let me bleed and got a new one. Then she pierced thru the whole thing again, says “sorry”, and doesn’t offer any kind of partial refund. The almost exact same thing happened to my friend. She tried to get her septum pierced here and the piercer put the needle half way through, took it out and told her that her septum was too crooked, and pierced her nostril instead (with no type of refund). Still, I decide to go back to get my bridge pierced. My friend and I are the only customers there and there is one piercer. The piercer takes a 20 minute phone call that consisted solely of her screaming and swearing at her boss about how bad of a shop they’re running. She slams down the phone, and tells us to come on back. She pierced us while she was still crying. We had already paid before she got the call, and I had a feeling we would not be getting refunds if we tried to leave. She also never told me her name. Anyway, three days later I’m noticing that the bar she put in was too short and I will have to go get it replaced. She never offered for me to pick out my own jewelry either, so I figured she knew what she was doing. I’m telling you this because I ignored all the red flags, just go somewhere else, especially if you’re nervous or getting your first piercing.

I got my septum pierced October of 2020, the healing process went good and I had no issues whatsoever. The staff was very helpful when I was picking out my jewelry and talked me through the process of piercing me. I will definitely be getting more piercings done here.

In town visiting, stopped to have 3 ear piercings changed out on 6/19..on 6/20 one earring fell out. Visited shop today and while showing where the earring should go a second one fell out. Desk person immediately diverted to my hair snagged piercing..that had not occurred!! The Manager who’s also the piercer came in and proceeded to blame me for the dislodging AFTER telling me that what I explained couldn’t have happened! She went on to say that I was lying about the price that I’d paid for the earrings. I showed proof. She continued by saying the employee that sold them for $10 was robbing her & would be dealt with. She tried to charge me AGAIN for putting the SAME rings in my ear OR $15 each for new ones plus $10 change fee! Normally it’s $5 to change, she was trying to charge me $5 per piercing. I’ve been a customer of Body Ritual for double digit years, whether it be a piercing or tattoo and having this negative dialogue was unprofessional and ghetto. New people, whack attitudes!! 🤮🤮

The best place a clean, efficient, friendly spot for piercings. Lexi back in the day and now Missy are the best Gals ever. I’ll be back after this heals.

A friend of mine was visiting from out of town and we decided that we wanted matching mini tattoos. We Went to the shop and we were told to come back in an hour. We came back and waited 2 hours (just sat there, no greeting or anything from anybody) only for the tattoo artist to print off a design before even asking us what exactly we wanted…mind you NOBODY ever bothered to show us tentative designs. When we told him (the artist) what was printed wasn’t at all what we wanted (too big, too many details) then asked for a more simplified tattoo design, he stormed away and got another tattoo artist (who was still practicing/in training) & he left us there w her. Needless to say we did NOT get a tattoo. The male artist didn’t even introduce himself, ask us our names, NOTHING. I would NOT recommend anybody go here (for a tattoo at least). Highly unprofessional and very unfriendly/unwelcoming. Super disappointing… the woman who was doing piercings was very sweet though…she even asked the receptionist TWICE “has anybody come to talk to them about their tattoos??”.Save your time, energy, and money. So unfortunate to have that experience w a friend who was visiting Milwaukee for the first time 😞

Been sitting here for two hours. Artist told us on arrival he was getting close to going home but might be able to fit us in. Nailed down what we wanted, he stated he wanted to smoke quick and he’d set up and get us taken care of. $160 in cash for two very small simple tats and nothing to show for it. No updates. Artist disappeared and had to check on him and finally ask for our money back multiple times. They’ve got disappointed customers and they turn around and greet newcomers and ignore us. Flat out wrote us off. Will not be coming back. Two hour drive… nothing.

The piercer (I forgot her name) just pierced myself and two of my friends today. We were SO pleased with our service we had! I got a septum piercing and loved the placement. My friend got a forward helix and was very pleased with placement. My third friend got a nose piercing and then piercer suggested a super creative and cute placement of a double nose piercing. It was a fun experience with my girlfriends and everything was super clean and super efficient. Highly recommend!!!

I had a VCH piercing with Lexi this afternoon. All I can say is was very informative. She was friendly & explained everything. I would highly recommend her for services. She made me feel very comfortable. It was definitely not as painful as I thought it would be. I highly recommend her!!! Thank You Ms. Lexi 🙂

Absolutely terrible customer service. It’s the weirdest vibe in there, employees don’t even look up from their phones when you walk in and act like you are annoying them by just being there. The guy that helped with my piercing didn’t clean it before hand or afterwards. Didn’t say anything to me and was just extremely rude.

I went in to size down my original dimple piercing jewelry. Even though the piercer doesnt perform that piercing she went above and beyond to figure out the right fit and jewelry for me...I was so happy! She was so sweet! Definitely returning!

Overall a pretty good place for piercings. i got my nipples pierced here by lexi ; she seemed like she was in a rush and pierced me crooked. i guess going fast makes it less painful, but it def made me feel pretty unwelcomed. but theyve been healing just fine so overall it was an alright experience. later i got my eyebrow done by missy and she was awesome!! definitely recommend her!! she was very friendly and seemed really experienced. shes basically the reason im giving br five stars. my eyebrow has been healing fine :)

Made an appointment to get an eyebrow piercing and an industrial and they were able to get me in very quickly. The piercer was very patient and helped me feel more relaxed about the process. I was in and out with no problems and I love my piercings!

Horrible customer service. Especially from Sammy. We were barely greeted. Not once did he leave his seat when we had questions while his vape was in his mouth. I kept telling him I couldn’t hear him over the loud music. My mom, my brother and I came in a few week ago, I assumed he was just having a bad day. Come to find out this is just his personality. Rude! I’ve been to Body Rituals before, maybe about 9 years ago and remember the service being exceptional. I will not be returning.

Got my nose pierced here for my birthday. I had an amazing piercer named Missy. She was friendly, super helpful, and just made the experience feel comfortable! Definitely going back!❤️

Literally love my nose piercing , 10/10 if you’re thinking about getting a piercing here. Very quick and I loved how I was comfortable with the person who did mine. Mona did the best job! Cool shirts there as well and nice jewelry to choose from.

I went to get both of my nostrils pierced and my piercer wasnt wearing their mask properly and had their nose out the entire time. The piercing room itself did not seem sanitary, with tissues on the floor, a messy setup and people walking in and out of the room while I was getting pierced. I was having problems with the piercings and set up an appointment to have them looked at and when I arrived, my concerns were not taken seriously and I was turned away without a consultation. Due to this, I had to go to another piercing studio and was told that they incorrectly pierced my nostril and that it would be best if I removed my jewelry and let the holes close. The lack of professionalism and care Body Ritual has for their customers is very frustrating as well as concerning. I will not be going back and do not recommend this shop to anyone.

Missy did my piercing. She did an awesome job. This was my second piercing. She explained how to take care of it very well. She made it where I cant see the end of the piercing inside my nose which is appreciated because my first piercing end was messing with me and I can see it. I didnt like that and I had to keep pushing it. To add, the it was for a reasonable price.

I absolutely love this place. I’m currently getting a gorgeous sleeve done by Aaron. I’m in there at least once a month and everybody is super friendly. The have a very clean and sterile environment. The prices are more than fair for the quality of work they do. My sleeve not even finished gets so many compliments. I have multiple (16) tattoos and my art work done by Aaron are my absolute favorite. We are working on other pieces and I wouldn’t go anywhere else in the MKE area for a tattoo. These guys do amazing work.

Had a great experience. I went in to get my dermal piercings out and Jamie helped me out. He made it a very comfortable environment. He was very gentle and told me what was going down from the start. Jamie was very kind, I appreciated this experience a lot!I have had horrible experiences at other places, where they were not friendly and it felt uncomfortable. The other places felt agrressive and I felt like I wasn’t being taken care of. At body ritual this was not my experience at all, I felt very safe.Will definitely go back!Thanks Jamie!

My experience at Body ritual was more than perfect. I just walked in and got taken care of immediately, no appointment.Mona was my piercer and let me tell you: she was awsome and super professional! At first, I was very nervous since I was getting three piercings in a row but the fact that Mona was confident and easy to talk to made me feel comfortable. She made the procedure seem so fast and easy, and made sure it was safe and sanitary. Not only did she sanitize the jewelry, but she sanitized my lobes and cartilage and used new needles for each piercing. She wore a mask and gloves as well.Mona is an awsome person and made sure I walked out the shop happy with my new piercings. She let me show her a picture of where I wanted the flat piercing on my cartilage and happily adjusted the location and made sure I was happy with it before piercing it. Its exactly where I want it and Im so happy she made sure we were both on the same page. I will definitely come back for any future piercings!I didnt read any of the poorly rated reviews for this shop until after I got my ears pierced. Im so happy I didnt because I would have felt discouraged to go there so Im extremely greatful that Mona made my experience wonderful.

I worked with Anthony and I honestly had a horrible time and was so anxious during my experience. He made me feel super dumb about things I was asking and he was incredibly rude the entire time. It started out with him pushing the appointment back an hour late 5 minutes before which I was not upset about even though I was already there. But then he did not do anything to make me feel satisfied with placing of tattoo or design. I said twice I wanted something specific and he told me “you never told me that” which was rude and unprofessional. The last time I got a tattoo the man went out of his way to show me multiple sizes to make sure I loved the tattoo. Anthony did not do any of these things. Every other employee seemed super kind while I was there so it was disappointing that he was so rude when I was paying him to do a service.

I was in and out in no time, and the owner of the shop was happy to help me with all my questions and was all around just a great person to chat with while I was being pierced. The place was clean and professional, with a great atmosphere and vibe. Will definitely be back!

Went to purchase a new stud for my nose. Girl at front desk was not welcoming or knowledgeable. Lexi (the fake manager) was rude & very unprofessional. Ill try again when Missy is there. When I called to voice my concerns, Lexi got very slick. Shes horrible as a fake manager.

Overall a good place for piercings. Got my nose pierced here 3 years ago. The lady wasnt the most friendly and didnt talk through what was happening much, but the piercing healed really easy. I have since been in a few times to get different jewelery. Depending on who is there the service varies, but regardless of how friendly the workers are they seem to know there stuff.Jewelery selection and prices are also good.

I got my helix and lobe pierced and great customer service also very nice staff. I love how they turned out and very fast and not very painful but any piercings are gonna hurt. Very satisfied!

I got my nose pierced yesterday and the young lady who did it was amazing. She explained everything before she did it and she was very informative about the after that was needed. If I decide to get another piercing I would definitely have her do it again.

Alright so I got a double helix back in April and didnt want to review until it had healed up and I could be reasonably sure any issues from here on out would be on me and not the piercer. I was a walk in with Ashley and everything went super well! She was chill, friendly once we got a conversation going, and chatted with me to help keep me calm. She also made sure to match the gauge of the needle to the size of my ear instead of just getting a big one for no reason. Cant lie and say it didnt hurt pretty good, but she was very fast and it was over quickly. After there was a fair bit of swelling from me bumping it like a dummy,b after I did the saline compresses it went down and healed like a dream. Im saying I have 3 sets of lobe piercings and this healed easier than the last set of them. I think the price was reasonable for how easy this process was on me. I plan on coming back for more piercings!

Seriously I was so wowed, with how I felt so cared for, it was so cleanly at the chair. Robyn did my navel, and educated me so much on everything thing pertaining to it along with some tips for my other piercings, and then Brandy did my tongue, also very quick and easy, and aftercare explained so throughly. I had made an appointment and brought my birth certificate with my ID because I’m under 18. Me and my father had gotten asked if we had an appointment and when the lady asked us that, she seemed very irritated which was a rude way to greet us due to her tone of voice. She became even more salty and irritable when I had responded “yes.” She refused to give me service because my father’s name wasn’t on the birth certificate, but I had his marriage license with my mother(who is on the certificate). Mind you, I was told to bring my birth certificate to clarify my AGE, not my birth father. What if I was adopted? That would have been very disrespectful! Also I noticed that when she was looking at my birth certificate, she was looking at everything on the birth certificate but my birthday. I would not recommend going here. The workers are very snotty and seem as though they hate their job. If you are expecting to be respected and greeted nicely, don’t go to Body Rituals. I recommend any other tattoo shop! Definitely a one star! Don’t waste your time.

I went to Body Ritual for a double nostril and septum piercing. My piercer was Missy. Missy was very professional, knowledgeable and gentle. She made sure to talk through the steps of the piercing process as well as aftercare, thoroughly. I recommend this shop to anyone looking to get pierced (or tattooed!).

Excellent customer service from Brandy!! I went here last Sunday after having a bad experience at a shop I won’t name, and although I was very afraid I’d have the same experience here, Brandy quickly put my worries to rest! I’ve had a nose piercing for 7 months that I got done back home in Cali. I recently got a bump on it and after doing some research I learned that I may have needed to change to a nickel-free jewelry. Brandy was the only piercer in the shop at the time with a full house, but she was still very pleasant and very patient!! I can be indecisive because I want to make sure I’m making the right decision but she never made me feel rushed to choose! She was very knowledgeable and just overall the person you want to see when wanting a kind spirit in some of these places that can seem quite sterile in attitude. I found my place in Milwaukee!!

I called Body Ritual 3x within a 24 hour period talking to them about me and my 5 year old wanting our ears pierced. Had conversations with 3 different people, planning this out.. telling them we’re coming from an hour away.. Specifically mentioned numerous times it’s for my 5 year old and coming in to have Missy or Lexi do the piercings. My daughter was over the moon while driving there. We walk in the door and the guy at the counter asked if I brought her birth certificate and was a little rude about it.. I told him I spoke to HIM earlier that same day and 2 others the night before and not a single person felt the need to mention to me that they require a birth certificate! Wasted hours of driving and wasted about $50- in gas for a pointless drive there. Maybe if you had a website for reference this could had been avoided since staff doesn’t feel it necessary to tell you what to bring!

I received my very first tattoo at BODY RITUALS. I also got my tongue pierced and above my lip pierced and never encountered a problem. The atmosphere was calm and friendly. The staff was GREAT. Ashley was very helpful and careful with her procedure. If you ever need anything pierced or need a tattoo BODY RITUALS is your place to be.

I have gotten 2 tattoos done there by Sam, (IG:Rickyspanishtattoos) and love them both. His attention to detail and talent is amazing. I get compliments all the time out in public on the portrait he did of my mother. He is an amazing artist and does a little bit of everything from what I have seen. Got my septum pierced in august and it was a fast and pain free piercing. The place was very clean and chill and made me calm. The piercer was very nice and calming to talk to thru the piecing process overall. I would recommend going here for any piercing

I went to get my second ear piercing the end of December of 2020. The earrings they used for the piercing was very cheap because about three months later the front of the earring worked it’s way inside my ear lobe which was extremely painful to get out and put a new earring in. Eight months later both of my piercings are still not healed I did everything they said but it still never healed to this day. I don’t really know what to do now but I would not recommend this place for an ear piercing.

I took my 10 year old daughter here today to get her ears pierced and cant say enough about what a great experience it was for her. She had a bad experience a few years ago at Clairs and was very nervous about having them pierced again. Jamie made her feel very comfortable and was so kind and gentle. He even had one of the other employees turn the music off that they had playing overhead because it wasnt appropriate for kids. Highly recommend Body Ritual.

Got my forward helix pierced in July. The girl who did it was not friendly or helpful. She said “people think they know where their piercing should go but it’s going where I put it.” Why I still got it I’m unsure. But I did. It’s now March and it still hasnt healed. I went to another reputable piercing shop and the piercer immediately asked why I was pierced with a hoop. Then looked and said it was done crooked. So he took it out and had to LITERALLY PRY the jewelry apart to get it out. He said he had never seen something like that before. I have a new piece of jewelry in only for a few hours and my ear already feels better! Do not go here for piercing in my opinion. I wish I could remember the girls name because I hope not everyone here is like this.

I got my 4-year old daughters ears pierced today. Brandy did such a great job and she was very patient! The earrings look lovely. I would definitely recommend over a piercing place at the mall - they do not use piercing guns, so its very gentle and precise. Thanks again!

Great price good atmosphere quality work

Walked in with friends immediately staff was unwelcoming and obviously irritated. In a group of 4, 2 people had appointments. I was clearly not the caller of the appointments and was greeted rudely by an employee asking us to leave with a snobby attitude. Understandable with covid-19 only those with appointments would be permitted in the store. Great I completely understand but the lack of professionalism and tone when asking someone to exit your business there is no need to be rude and argue in front of paying customers. I would not come here for any services and would suggest employees take lessons in customer service. Apologies that over a phone call that I was involved in that I didnt get the memo that only persons with appointments are allowed in the store. As a business that interacts with clients everyday I would expect better customer communication skills.

Love Brandi!! she is so nice and very helpful. She gave my daughter a nose piercing and helped her all the way through the healing process. Every time she had concerns Brandi was always there to answer her questions.

Update: I decided to visit my primary because my piercing grew a painful bump on it that was increasing in size and randomly bleeding. He confirmed that there was no infection or swelling, but a significant amount of scarring. There is raised scar tissue aka a keloid on the outside of my nose around the jewelry. This could or could not have been caused by the body piercer. Sometimes they form naturally around wounds, so that is understandable. Yet, on the inside of my nose there is a huge mass of scar tissue (almost taking up the whole circumference of my nostril) that was not caused by the piercing itself. It was caused by the piercer who repeatedly tried to jam the jewelry/needle into my nose when they messed up. I will most likely need surgery to eventually remove the mass which sucks. If I do decide to go through with the surgery it will be fully covered by my insurance. So thats a plus. If you take anything from this, please do extensive research on businesses and their credibility before becoming a customer. Especially when it comes to your body and health.I went here for my very first piercing about 2 weeks ago. The woman who did my piercing messed up and had to start all over. In result causing me more pain and some scarring. The customer service was okay. Nothing spectacular and nothing horrible. Just eh. I only came to this location because the reviews were so high. Now I know to just go else where.

I went here to get my septum done. the girl who did it was friendly and quick with my piercing and it didn’t hurt that much but after a few weeks my friend who did piercings told me that she put the septum too high. when I took it out to change to another septum It was In fact too high for me to screw in the ball.

Piercing studio was clean but the piercer did not give advice as to which jewelry was best for my nostril piercing. She started me off with a captive ring that was too small for my nose and put lots of pressure on the piercing site. Along with this, the ring itself had a few nicks in the metal that was causing even more irritation. Within three weeks I had some scar tissue developing along with a scab. When I went back in to the shop, they told me it was completely normal and common and to just use tea tree oil and sea salt soaks.Needless to say, I went into a different studio and had my jewelry changed to a high quality titanium piece that was correctly sized and my scarring has gone down. Though this studio was relatively inexpensive and clean, I would recommend paying for a higher quality procedure.Cant say I would go back here again.

Although I didnt get a tattoo here, there is a very lovely and kind hearted woman who works here who helped my sister, our kids and I, jump our car today in a desprate time of need. She stopped what she was doing and came out into the heat too help us. She asked for nothing in return and told us she was happy to help. Ive never been inside this place until today and id definitely recommend this place to friends. The world definitely needs more kind hearts like this woman

I got the other side of my lip pierced yesterday to complete my snakebites, when she marked it looked great, but when I got home I realized she MISSED HER MARK by about 1.5-2 mm so now it looks crooked and Ill have to get repierced. waste of money. definitely going elsewhere.

Definitely dont recommend. I got a simple tragus with my best friend and we both had to return to fix it. :/ its cheap for a reason. They pierced w stainless steel and 18 guage. Only after the fact did I learn that steel is almost always low quality and 18g is a bit small for traguses. 16g internally threaded or threadless implant grade titanium F-136 or F-1295 flat back labrets by a reputable brand like Anatometal, Neometal, LeRoi, Industrial Strength, etc. is best. I will now be looking for a different piercer.UPDATE: I had to get it taken out because it was pierced crooked and couldnt heal. Dont go here for your piercings. They dont know what theyre doing.

Nice and friendly, Mike did my upper cartilage piercing and I was in and out about 20 minutes. The selection is very limited though, so I would recommend having them order you something.

Face was an awesome artist, took a really simple tattoo, and made it way more awesome than it needed to be. Went in for a really simple flash art design with my friends, and came out with a tattoo I could show my parents. 10/10 definitely recommend.

Went with my boyfriend to get his nose pierced and the employees were not wearing masks when we walked in. not only that, the piercer who was speaking to us was touching the jewelry in the case with her bare hands and then placing it back in the small piles of jewellery so every piece got contaminated. when it came time for the piercing, she already put her gloves on and was touching things not meant for the piercing and never changed her gloves before piercing his nose. she marked a spot he wasn’t happy with so he had her mark again, and said do it in between the two spots marked. she pierced him in the spot he previously told her not to, it is extremely close to the tip of his nose. overall extremely unprofessional, not sanitary.

Other than my first tattoo, Ive gotten all my work done here. To me, there is no other place to go than Body Ritual, they are that good. So much so, that Ive actually had different artists for different tattoos (10 tattoos, 6 artists) & theyve all done amazing work. Couldnt be happier

They pierced my left nostril crooked/wrong a couple of months ago. i got my right one done about 4 weeks after my left one, but i went somewhere else. i noticed something was up when my right one was totally fine, but my left one was still bleeding, swelling, etc. i went to my new piercer to check it out and was told they pierced it crooked. so that was a bummer

So grateful that I was able to be helped yesterday! Came in with a swollen dermal, and this team was able to remove it. I walked in and they helped me right away. She was so gentle and carful not to leave a big mark. Very sweet and friendly. So appreciate your help!!

I called first and they told me that the vertical Labret piercing with the jewelry included would be 30 dollars but when I got there they told me it was 55 dollars. I came all the way from the south side because I thought it was a pretty good deal since I thought it would be cheaper since I was told so on the phone. It was also weird that it was so expensive when all they did was open up a hole I used to have open before so it should’ve been cheaper. If they weren’t the only ones open at the time I honestly would’ve went somewhere else because they made me feel like a fool.

Glad I didnt get him.update: my boyfriend got a labret piercing here at 5/16 which kept rejecting, turns out that is the final piercing size. should be pierced at 7/16. I myself had a successful tongue piercing but beware.

Sat for 40 minutes waiting to get ears pierced and no piercer ever showed up. I was constantly being told “she’ll be here in 5 minutes” needless to say, never showed. I would give 0 stars if there was an option

Both my best friend & I got snake bites. Needless to say the piercer didnt even make the piercings straight or correctly sitting on our lips. Eventually we both had to take our piercings out because the piercer didnt give clear after care directions & come to find out the rings themselves were put in really bent & were very difficult to pull out.

I came here a few times for piercings and my experience was definitely better than previous places. I will come here from now on for my piercings. Prices are responsible, good service, clean etc!

I went in there looking for a cute industrial bar and some belly button rings. People were at the jewelry counters eating fast food and looked at me as if i was insane when i asked them to move their food so i could see what was in the cases. I had to ask for assistance several times before anyone paid any attention to me. They had no industrial bars or interchangeable balls whatsoever and all the belly button rings were extremely gaudy and expensive. I wouldnt trust these assholes to mop my floors, much less leave their marks on my body.

Was very cleanly which is so important. But the person answering the phone was not very friendly at all. To me, it seemed like the piercer wanted to do what she wanted to do not what the client wanted. My push through was not at all painful.

Was pierced very high up and crooked. I went back in and asked if the piercing was correct and was convinced maybe I was wrong, after countless google searches and talking with a piercer I know personally, I removed the piercing myself. Worst $65 I’ve spent.

Been coming here forever Ive gotten all my piercings and a couple of my tattoos there very professional and clean they listen to what you want, they explain after care thoroughly never had any problems there.

I prefer Jamie over the female piercer, whos not personable or as skilled. I recommend this shop to all my friends and go there for new jewelry because its been around so long and has good prices, and really skilled artists.

I went in and got a Medusa peircing Wednesday (it was cute and all dont get me wrong) & by today I had to go back because I was in severe pain from my initial jewelry being to tight, I paid 55 for it , then had to turn around and pay 15 more for a new piece, and the chick didnt give Me any warning before reaching in my mouth un-twisting the ball after I said multiple times that my lip was hurting and was clearly swollen, she popped the new one in and that was that, also she handed me a new replacement in my hand but she got it from a baggie, The new one feels better already which is good, but I just feel it couldve been More professional, and correct so I wouldnt have had to spend more when it couldve been done better initially.

Never a problem when I go in. the wait is never long, all staff is friendly. I could recommend others to go there. Ive gotten my tongue, nipples pierced, and going today to get my nose pierced.

Pretty straight forward place, not the most friendly people but that’s okay. It wasn’t scheduled but one guy took us in the day of. Gave him the idea, he gave us a rough draft, came out disappointed tbh. Looked nothing like the example given. And def over paid... trying to be optimistic about it but I’ll prob have to spend the same amount again to fix it.

Had my naval re-pierced there. It was clearly crooked and they didnt care to address it. Also the piercer asked for cash tips in the room? I think that is poor customer service and poor etiquette.
