Go in, ask for a septic piercing, I was told to be about 25 minutes, now theres four people in a facility, 1 is on lunch, the other 3 I guess were busy🤔, so the young lady said Ill be with you in about 25 minutes, i I said okay I can wait, next thing I know she takes a phone call goes outside, so in my mind that still adding to the 30 minutes or the 25 minutes that you said that you were going to be with me, I look out the window shes shes done with the phone call, I go outside to see if I can hear her talking shes done with the phone call but then shes still standing there, neither one of the persons that were in the facility no one asked can I take care of you until she comes back inside? Of course not, so maybe if I was spending $300.00 on a tattoo or on piercings I wouldve been taken care of, I was always taught to STAY IN MY NEIGHBORHOOD TO DO BUSINESS, BUT WHY? I SHOULDNT HAVE TO GO ACROSS TOWN AND GET CHEAPER PRICES AND QUICKER MORE PROFESSIONAL SERVICE! OH WAIT YES I SHOULD!

Cannot say enough nice things about Jess and their apprentice 🖤 came for a walk-in piercing, and they are obviously not only knowledgeable, but passionate about the art of piercing. They made the space so comfortable. Seriously cant see myself going anywhere else for piercings from here on out.

Great stop. This one is way better than the down town. You can walk in 11am till 8pm. They have a $100 tattoo mystery machine. Loved the artist and vibe. They have periceing. Great spot. You looking to get Ink2 hrs 285 with tip so good deal.

Ive been here once before for a micro tattoo . I recently returned for a septum piercing. Steve was great and knew what he was doing. We went on a Wednesday around 600p without an appointment... it filled in after we got there .. its first come, first serve. 50$/piercing Steve was efficient, and the space was clean. Its a quality place....a friend also got theirs done and we were our within 30 min.

I went in to get my septum pierced. Jessica is the piercer there and let me say… she is amazing. Actually amazing is an understatement. She was kind, knowledgeable and very down to Earth. I always psych myself out before getting any piercing and she really helped me remedy my worry. Walked me through everything and it was a painless and easy experience.

I went in for 2 peircings and Jessica did amazing!! BEST peircing experience I have EVER had!!! She is so nice and sweet and talks you through the whole process and is super quick! I barely felt any pain or discomfort!

Great piercer, I forgot what his name was but he was very friendly for my nose piercing and my seconds on my right ear. I almost passed out because I am uncomfortable around needles and pain but he helped me by getting water and a cookie to help. Also he changed my gf’s recent eyebrow piercing into a longer bar for free.

I was there to get an Eragus piercing from Alex who did an amazing job and was very personable. While there I met Kelly and got 3 tattoos. She worked very quickly and had great customer service. I strongly recommend this place and I will be back!

Steve does excellent tat work. Jess stabs so good!! I most definitely would recommend for tats and piercings!

Gabby was so great, changing my Tragus piercing. I couldn’t get the earring out and Gabby was able to remove and change the ring with out me feeling a thing. She was so sweet and kind. Definitely will be back to visit her again for any piercings needs.

Recently had a cover up done, which turned out great! Then went back for the other side of my neck. Tim did an awesome job! I appreciate it man🙏👍

I did a walk in on a Monday with a friend to get a matching tattoo and they took us in right away! My artistwho was named Dillion was super fast and talented! Such an amazing experience! Will be coming back! They even ended up doing a flash tattoo for me as well!

Very unprofessional and disrespectful. I understand rush hours and things changing but the miscommunication can be communicated better and I wasted my time after being told to take a seat then told to leave. Could’ve been racially motivated but who knows I won’t care to find out in the future.

Tats aint cheap. But this place definitely overcharges.They do a lot of walk-ins so its easy to get people to pay a ton of money if they need their tat same day. But its totally not worth it to come here, even just for a one off. You can get good work for a much more reasonable price, just do your homework.Plan ahead. Find a good artist. And give them your returning patronage instead of going to this place.

I got two piercings with Jessica today and she made me feel so safe and comfortable with the process. They got me in pretty quickly as a walk in and she did my bridge and eyebrow near painlessly. They’re genuinely the kindest and most comfortable piercer I’ve ever had stab my face and I can’t wait to see them again.

Ive been going to Atomic Tattoos now for 7 months, and the atmosphere is incredible! All the staff are super nice and very helpful. Ive gone to Dillon each time for my tattoos (gotten 9 tattoos from him in this time) and they have all turned out amazing. He is super chill and easy to work with. I have also gotten two piercings done there in that time too: my helix done by Steve and my nose done by Jess. Both made the piercing experience very pleasant and easy. I would recommend Atomic to anyone looking for a fun atmosphere to be tattooed in.

I had a really bad experience with the owner of Avant-Garde, so I headed over to Atomic to see if they could help me. The shop has a very chill vibe. Jessica was so sweet and helpful. She resolved my issue, explained everything I needed to know, and I left feeling beautiful. Yes, they also do tattoos here. No, that doesn’t mean they’re not great piercers. I will definitely be back in the future. Huge shout out to Jessica for saving my day!

Alexa was awesome! ive struggled with piercings for a little while and she has been amazing from the beginning when she first repierced my nostrils. She answered all my questions and made me me feel safe and comfortable. Will definitely be coming back for more piercings from her soon!

I received my nose piercing here. It went well and Id recommend this place to anyone who wants a piercing and/or tattoo.On this day, I called last minute to see if they could fit me in, once I got the okay, I stated Im on my way and the young man told me to DRIVE CAREFULLY. I thought that was kind and sincerely some good customer service. Kudos. This guy was swamped too with 6 ladies waiting for piercing and one more lady wanting a small tattoo. But he did not fret. Kudos again!!

I’ve had Dillon do a half sleeve, some watercolor tattoos, and feet tattoos. I’ve never been disappointed by his work. He is a super nice guy who is accommodating and will make you feel comfortable while you’re there. The shop is clean and I’ve seen the Dillon spray and clean his stations down and set up appropriately.

Went to get pierced. first red flag was the girl working that day. Rude & unpleasant vibe from her. Second red flag was seeing the jewelry she was going to put in. I wanted a cartilage piercing and yes I got pierced with a needle but she ended up putting a butterfly back stud in (I could’ve gone to Claire’s for this) I should’ve said something then but I wanted to trust them since they are a tattoo/piercing shop. If you do more research on the shop you can can see that a “piercer” pierced one person 12 times in one sitting (what?!) Waste of $47. Alexandra (didn’t even tell me her name, I did my research and found it) didn’t go over any aftercare instructions just gave me a phamplet and took my money. Poor customer service & poor jewelry quality.

I came with a few questions about a tattoo that I wanted. When I walked in the artists looked but didn’t speak. I am a African American women by the way. I stood around for about 5 minutes and still.. no one said anything to me. Then a white couple walked in and they were greeted and asked what were they looking to get. I then felt like my presence didn’t matter and told the tattoo artist that I wasn’t greeted. He then proceeds to say that he was “busy”. But that didn’t stop him from greeting the couple that walked in AFTER me. So at that point I left. I went in excited and left disappointed. I will definitely take my money elsewhere.

Unfortunately I wouldn’t recommend. The people are nice and the environment is clean and comfortable. However, I came in with a specific design that looked great on the stencil. When the artist went over the stencil, it was undoubtedly different in several areas. I was really upset and disappointed. After I had already paid, the artist offered to cover it and tattoo again for free, but that doesn’t really help cause I’m already unhappy with what’s now on my arm forever. At first I thought maybe it was my fault for not looking at the stencil closer , but I realize the error was really on the artist’s part as they tattooed over after the stencil had been applied.

Very odd experience. Called to find out about a 5 minute walk in, and he already seemed pretty stressed out about time but decided to fit me in anyway. Got there, and right when the tattoo started, the artist got a phone call that he was on for the entirety of the session, sharing way too many personal details. After it was finished, asked if I wanted backshading. After I said no, because obviously I was crammed into a small time slot, he called me a cheapskate. A few other clients I noticed were not happy with the piercer either. Overall a really odd vibe and with as many shops around, I think I’ll check one of those out before ever coming back to Atomic. I will say, the work turned out great, however, it was simply tracing a signature that was written in sharpie on my wrist, so take with that what you will.

Stopped in tonight for a piercing and jewlrey change with Jess, shes fantastic!! She was fast, efficient and super sweet. Will definitely be back

I went here for my first tattoo here in April, I wasnt told a price or anything else. I went with someone who had tattoos and said what I wanted should cost more than maybe $50. It took the artist literally 7 minutes (it was video recorded) to do my tattoo and maybe 20 minutes total from the time I sat in the chair and he drew up and corrected a couple times. Ended up after he rung it up, $100!!! He didnt give any type of aftercare instructions - printed or vocally.

This is where I always get my ear piercing. Theyre pretty good.

Stay Away if you’re serious about getting a tattoo. I scheduled to have to bird tattoo done with one of the guys and when I got there he never came. I mean he really actually never showed up, never called nothing…. Nobody knew where he was and I took off work for this tattoo. Waste of time. Not reliable at all. Everyone there seemed to be high of something as well. Very weird environment anyway.

WOULD NOT RECOMMEND! *SECOND review- So I wrote a review and got a response from the owner (SEE OWNERS REPLY BELOW 👇) saying that they guarantee their tattoos, and that I could get a touch up for free if it was done by the same artist. Mind you after contacting the owner to do the touch up I was informed of some sketchy business by the artist who did my tattoos, the owner also informed me that he was fired for those reasons. I let him know that I was looking to get the tattoo touched up..Since there is a guarantee I thought it would be an easy discussion, but the owner dropped out of the conversation and stop responding despite my being patient polite and willing to compromise on pricing) *FIRST review- A rip off! Paid 240 for husband and I (first name only) tattoos, they are nearly completely faded. This happened only 2 weeks after, so we called and asked how they would compensate or compromise and I was told Id have to pay nearly the same price to have a touch up...TWO WEEKS! Very disappointing...its almost like a press on childs tattoo...

Owner Sam Bielinski is ridiculous. We were loyal customers for about 10 years but now very glad to take our money elsewhere. He did a throat tattoo, went to someone else for face tattoos. Booked time for additional work on face and finishing up a sleeve he did. Clearly told him that in the communications exchanged when booking the appointment. Apparently its so disrespectful to extend his work (a throat is not a face - all other artists consider these separate areas) and he decided to wait until the start of the appointment to be a baby about it, despite knowing exactly why the time was being booked and having pictures. Drove 45 minutes, left kids at home, to watch him have a temper tantrum; it would have been comical if it werent verbally abusive. A little shook to have such an absurd interaction after spending thousands of dollars and skin space with him (thought we were friends) but also very excited to get the rest of my body done by respectful artists that understand and care about body autonomy. Leave your hostility at home dude and enjoy that huge ego of yours. Our advice to you: save your money, time and precious art space; find an artist handling their mental health better and one that will treat you with common decency even if they arent happy.

I got 2 Piercings done by Jess SHE WAS AMAZING I was Petrified to get my Septum pierced and I have actually been putting it off for a bit but, she did it sooo quickly and was very gentle. My second Piercing was an actual repierce of my left Nostril this also went very quickly with minimal pain. She was so patient and allowed me a breather between Piercings she explained the cleaning and healing process very well too.

I did appreciate the efficiency of getting my piercing since I was a walk in and the piercer’s detail to sanitation but unfortunately everything else was unpleasant. I received the beauty mark tattoo and had to take it out a week and a half later. The piercer put in a 3/8th piercing when it should have been a 7/16th and so the piercing was imbedding into my lip. And when I went to go to this location to get it out, I arrived there at 7:41, the location was already closed and the two people who worked there were standing outside, saw me walk up to the door, and promptly went into their cars and drove away. Very disappointed, will never go back, and will steer others away if they ask my opinion of the business.

Boyfriend and I walked in we were greeted by a male, (never even got his name) said that he was willing to do tattoos for us. I explained that this was just a surprise trip for fun, he seemed down for it. Explaining what I wanted to get, he was kinda for it, but then when I chose something he was pretty much making a deal about how color ink fades and this and that, which I know. I have tattoos already, and also my boyfriend has tattoos, not our first rodeo. Boyfriend tries to show him a picture of what hed like and he went into how hes not really for it and that if my boyfriend would like to pick closer to something on the wall, (mind you, it was more of the old school sailor tattoos which is someones cup of tea, but not ours). So after boyfriend and I talked. We realized its probably best if we just left. Now. I have friends who are tattoo artists, and I understand people dont like tattooing certain things. But you agreed to tattoo us and then make a deal about its not something that you like? Just overall bad experience, I wont be back, Ill go to the other location, where I know theyll be open to whatever and be confident in their work. Id advise anyone to just save your money for an artist that actually cares about what you like not what suits them or complains the whole time. Also super glad we didnt go through with it, because wed probably hate it afterwards.

Ive gotten my nose pierced there maybe 3 times by a guy. He did my gauges also.I needed a re-pierce to a closed hole in my nose. A female was there. Oh my gosh. It was such a painful piercing!! He always did it from the top down. She did it from in my nose going up.Its midnight and my nose is so sore. So sore. Like its so sore i youtubed people getting their nose pierced to make sure i wasn’t tripping. She definitely did it the most painful way possibleThe price also went up from $20 to $40

Had a walk in appointment today and was super happy! They abide by all of the guidelines for Covid & were so kind, talkative and informative about my piercings. I am in town from Colorado & randomly decided to get two piercings today and they made me extremely comfortable. Recommend this place to anyone browsing these reviews for reassurance :)

I had my nosed pierced here 10 years ago with someone else. Sadly the staff comes and goes but that nothing new. I recently was their in June and the pregnant lady that was changing out my nose piercing was inexperienced. She couldn’t put the jewelry in my nose where my piercing is so she poked in the side of my nose a few time and water my eyes out. She wasn’t very nice either. With her work ethic and very incurious of her clients piercing… she have caused trauma to my nose from replacing the piercing and caused me to have a small keloid. It look her 30 mins to an hour just to change it out.

I came here yesterday for my birthday to get a dermal piercing. I walked in and was greeted right away. There were multiple employees waiting to help me which I liked. They were very professional and clean. I don’t know the name of the gentleman that did my piercing, but he was very informative and nice. My piercing didn’t even take long. I will recommend this place to others !

Lars is the best! I have many pieces by them and will be back for more.

I walked in yesterday for help with a nose hoop that was stuck in a partially-closed piercing. I was in and out in just a few minutes with a re-pierced nostril, a new hoop, and an overall great interaction with the piercer! (The original piercing wasnt done at Atomic, btw)He wouldnt let me leave a tip for this free service, so Ill definitely be back soon to get some paid work done!! Thank you! :)

The staff is great. Perfect atmosphere and talented artists. I will not go anywhere else in Milwaukee. I return to work with Josh every time. However Ive seen the rest of the staff working and they are amazing as well. Bring in your own art or just an idea and they are able to run with it with great skill.

Ive had 6 tattoos done here by Sam Belinski ranging from the size of my palm to a large piece on my rib cage. Ive also had 3 piercings done here by Steve. Best place Ive ever been. Its clean and the staff are always friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this spot.

I called to find out their hours and rates of piercings they were very polite on the phone. However the time they told me I showed up two hours earlier then closing time and it was closed. I really wanted my piercing from Atomic I heard so many good things but due to them closing early my friends and I went elsewhere.

Sam and his crew are the best in the business! Great atmosphere, great people, amazing artists. They take walk-ins and appointments. Highly recommend going to them for any amount of tattooing or piercing you may want.

Dillon accepted walk ins, and drew, and did my tattoo less than two hours! 🦋 Super laid back; However, also Patient, artistic/ creative, open minded and super nice! I plan on coming back for more work to be created by him. 🙂✨

Today at 6PM on April 14th, 2022 I entered the studio happy and cheerful ready to change my jewelry on my labret piercing. The lady piercer is currently on maternity leave as suspected the time of my piercing she was almost at her due date. She told me to ask for a Caucasian piercer but all of the men in the studio said the piercer Julio who is Hispanic is not available currently. I said I’m not here for him as I know he does not do labret piercings as he is not experienced enough. Adam who is who she said I should ask for finally spoke up and said yes I can help you when I’m not tattooing which would have not been an issue. They all knew who I was referring to as he is the only Caucasian piercer there. Just poor hospitality offered me to go to their other location I declined.

Nice and friendly staff! Went in for a tattoo and the price was too much for me. I think its crazy how much the prices are. All I wanted was small flower on my hand and they told me that the cheapest they do is $50 but that it would be about $150 and up for what I wanted. I was about to walk away when I saw a girl picking out nipple rings. I asked her if it hurt. She said no so I decided to get mines done. It hurt like hell but the guy as very helpful and patient with me. Would give more stars if it wasnt for the price

I got my helix pierced by Steve! If your a person that’s full of nerves he is your man. I was super excited and nervous, he was so relaxed and it made me feel so at ease. Then came the piercing part and it was over in two seconds, almost completely painless. What a spectacular experience he created for me! Hands down best piercing I have gotten. ****HIGHLY RECOMEND STEVE****

Vic doesn’t tip service people! I delivered food to Vic yesterday with UberEats, I did my job properly. Checked the food, and delivered it hot and on time to the correct client. Upon delivery there was a tip, after delivery he removed the tip. Meaning I got paid $3 for half and hour (less than minimum wage) it’s not ok to exploit service workers trying to make a living wage. Especially as an artist who also expects tips for their service.

I went with my sister to get a tattoo at Atomic Tattoos and we were beyond impressed with the level of professionalism and respect from Nico. I was so impressed that I also got a tattoo!! Nico was caring and made sure that we were both getting the tattoos we wanted. This was my first tattoo and Nico made sure I was comfortable the whole time. We came here based on Atomics reviews, and were not disappointed.

The Staff Is Just MONEY HUNGRY And INEXPERIENCED ( FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE) I Came Almost A Year Ago For A Name Tattoo You Can Tell The Artist Just Didnt Wanna Do It He Kept Trying To Talk Me Outta Something I WANT On MY BODY It Literally Took 5 Minutes For Him To Do It Im Thinking A Simple Name No Designs Should Be About 50 This Man Charged Me 100 Dollars For A Name You Can Barely Read Because Its Like One Word Its To Close Together THAN I Came For A Belly Button Piercing and Dermal First Time It Was Crooked And The Dermal Was Wayyy To Close So It Wasnt Healing Right I Would Assume That In The Moment He A Give Me A Professional Opinion On If I should Wait Until One Heal Or Get It Moved Higher He Just Rushed The Process To Take My Money, Had To Come Back To Get Both Piercings Removed They Told Me To Let It Heal And He Would Redo Them Free Of Charge, I Came Back After It Healed Explain To The Lady What Went On WITH HI RIGHT THERE She Tried To Force Me To Let Her Do It For A Fee Once I Told Her I Was Promised A Free One He Finally Did It JUST FOR IT TO END UP CROOKED AGAIN

Got my belly pierced here about two weeks ago and now it’s oozing purulent drainage. When I went to the back room to get pierced the chair you lay down on was peeling horribly; there’s now way you could wipe that clean after each client or period. Also, they do not use a sterile technique, he used them boxed gloves that you find at any doctors office. However, in order to get serviced there they make you sign a contract that they are not responsible if you get an infection and u cannot sue and you have to initial way beforehand where it says they used sterile gloves which is a lie. I’m a nurse that’s how I know he didn’t use sterile gloves I won’t ever be going back.

I had came in and got a naval and my gf got her septum, the employees were v nice, piercing prices were v reasonable, my gf was getting really stressed from the pain of switching her ring (she had initially chosen a smaller one but changed her mind to get a bigger ring) and the piercer was very patient and was fast, so the pain didn’t last that long and was happy to grant her wish. Can’t wait to check out their tattoos !

Clean friendly atmosphere the staff is very talented very polite & their work is out of this would I really cant say enough about them their the best of the best

Went in for my first tattoo, I had a plan in mind and showed pictures of it to the guy. He ended up just drawing it in sharpie right on me instead of doing a sketch and putting the stencil on. When I asked questions or tried to suggest any changes before and during the tattoo he automatically seemed annoyed or offended. His service was quick but he was not very kind and made me feel sort of dumb and out of place. Really made the experience unenjoyable. Tattoo turned out okay, kind of turned out uneven. Plan to get it fixed elsewhere. Was really excited for this experience but after this I am now completely turned off from getting another tattoo, will not be returning here.

Wanted a tiny dainty cat head on my finger for my first tattoo but the artist, sloppy Joe, said it wasnt possible because it would bleed all together. When i said i wanted it smaller he got annoyed and i felt out of control. Also didnt want to look because it made it more painful but i didnt know he was going to fill it in. Very little communication and i ended up not really liking what i got. I felt like i was told what i wanted instead of listened to and Im stuck with this giant blob of a cat head forever.Also i was told only when in the chair and about to be inked that there was a 50$ minimum for the shop even for the tiniest tattoo. Im so disappointed.

Coming from a piercing shop where they didn’t make you feel welcome, I was very pleased with the service I received. I came in with a friend to get nose piercings and my piercer was very nice and we felt very comfortable.

A friend and I walked in to get matching friendship tattoos - impulsively of course! We had no idea what to get and asked for ideas from the artists! After chatting with them for a while, they suggested salt and pepper shakers. Which we LOVED!!! They drew a couple samples for us and then the work began! Joey and Kelly were great!!! I highly recommend the shop! AND THEY PLAYED SALT-N-PEPA FOR US WHILE WE GOT OUR TATS!!!! Lol so great!

I’m so mad that I decided to come to this shop instead of the one on the east side. The guy who did my tattoos didn’t tell me his name so I can’t say it but what I wanted was a flower on my thumb/hand area and a very small bee behind my ear. The bee looks decent, it’s crooked and doesn’t look anything like the picture I showed him. How can you mess that up? And the flower on my hand is NOT even CLOSE to how I wanted it. He put it in the wrong place. I asked him if we can move it and he said NO. He seemed really lazy so I think that’s why he wouldn’t move it. Also looks nothing like the picture I showed him. He spent nearly an hour drawing it and about 3 minutes actually putting it on my body so you would think it’d be more detailed but it’s not. When we were finished you could see on my face I was not happy at all and AFTER he tells me it will be more expensive for it being in hard places and charges me $120... $120!!!! I will NEVER return to this location ever.

Atomic Tattoos is an awesome and chill place. They make you feel comfortable and relaxed here! I came to get my tongue and lip pierced tonight but will be coming back here for my future tattoos as well. I highly recommend coming here!

My best friend just got a tattoo and they didnt sterilize the chair and it is all open concept people can see each other and they dont have private rooms the cleanliness is not very good .they are over priced for certain things you have done. For example a lettering word three little lines and 150 and I think thats just alot of money I got my lettering from rockstar tattoo and it cost me 80 I wouldnt reccomend them for tattooing or piercing not very clean

This is by far the WORST place Ive been for a tattoo. I trusted the guy doing my tattoo to make my vision come to life. BIG MISTAKE! The artistry is basic, amateur, and just plain UGLY!!!! I absolutely HATE my tattoo. He also didnt want to completely give me what I wanted even though I was paying for it! I am so disappointed with my experience here. I am already making plans to get this crappy tattoo covered up. If you want a good tattoo DO NOT go to atomic tattoo.

I got my first tattoo here and I was in and out within a hr and a half . So happy with how it turned out thank you sam AMAZING price too ..months later I came to get my nipples pierced I was in and out 10min. Tops. Very helpful and nice I will only come here for my tattoos and piercings

I wanted HK2 initials they told me just to start it off. It would be $100 plus the initials what hundred plus dollars for Hk in a K. Wow that’s crazy.

Went there to get my septum pierced and the piercer was very nice. The place was clean and it only hurt for a few seconds! 100% recommend this place.

Me and my girl called ahead for the friday the 13th special in the morning and they said they were doing it and never specified an end time. The girl at the counter was rude and made a snarky comment to us on our way out and we drove out from racine thinking that they were doing it all day. That wasted alot of time and gas and was really unprofessional. I feel like these are the type of people that bill cosby other peoples drinks... Low lifes.

Wasn’t as impressed as I was hoping. I got a simple tattoo of coordinates and he forgot a decimal point so I had to go back and get it added in. Also, it was quite expensive and felt very rushed. I’ve had plenty of tattoos done before and I’d say this was my least favorite experience.

You suncerely can just call them about your piercings and they will answer your questions. They helped me with my gauging cleaning questions and they are extremely polite.
