Sheri was wonderful!! I had my mid helix pierced somewhere else and developed a large piercing bump. She drained it for me and gave me so much information. She was incredibly warm and kind and I will be returning to her for my next piercing.

LOVE!! i went in today for my nose piercing and from the beginning the piercer was so nice and welcoming! She was clean and made sure everything is okay and clear before proceeding with anything! I 100% recommend to anyone that is considering getting a piercing.

My girlfriend went in for a nose piercing and two additional ear piercings. I’m pretty sure our whole time in there was under 15 minutes. Very friendly and relaxed staff, clean shop and comfortable waiting area.

Ive gotten multiple piercings here and love them. Everything is sanitary, and the piercer takes the take to show you how to thoroughly clean each piercing.

Went to Bay Street tattoo for the first time this week. Walt did my tattoo, I had a meeting to describe what I wanted (fine line 4444 in gothic print, not too crazy) and he totally nailed it. He understood my vision and I am SO happy with the final product. It was also very modestly priced! Overall very good experience and I will be back!

I got my piercing done by Shari and she was super nice. My only issue was I went to get my thirds done on my lobe, and she pierced it with a hoop earring instead of a stud so that was kinda annoying. I had to change it out to a stud so it would actually heal correctly, but other than that it was pretty good.

Just got my tragus and conch done and Sheri is fantastic. Shes super kind and was very understanding when I told her I might get dizzy (I did, and she reclined the seat and turned on a fan which helped). I love the placement of the piercings, and found a piece there for my helix at a very reasonable price. Walt was great, too.Definitely will be back for more in the future! Thanks Sheri!

I was in town for my birthday and booked here because it was LGBTQ friendly. Had a wonderful love piercing experience with Sheri who was patient and knowledgeable and truly so kind. 110% recommend.

I just got my septum pierced last weekend and Shari is absolutely amazing. I was a little nervous, she talked me through everything prior to piercing it and completely reassured me. I saw online that if its not pierced correctly, it hurts so much, and that is absolutely not the case here. She is awesome and really went through how to correctly clean the piercing, how to hide it (if necessary), the size and how to change it and what to say if I need to go somewhere to get it back in if I cant, so someone else doesnt charge me to pierce it again if I dont need that. Seriously cannot recommend them enough and I will absolutely be going back for my next piercing!

I have two tattoos by Walt, and they are amazing. Both he and Sheri are really warm and friendly, and make you feel super comfortable. They are also quite honest and work to collaborate with you and the ideas you have. Im so looking forward to working with them, again.

I wanted to get a Helix piercing and chose Bay Street Tattoo. I was a bit concerned as I read a couple of bad reviews. When I arrived I was met by my piercer Shari. She was very nice and friendly. We settled on the jewelry and were ready. Shari was very professional and informed. She answered all my questions and concerns and was not put out with my questions. Shari put on gloves and cleaned the ear with alcohol pads. She told me when she was doing everything and before I knew what was going on it was over. Shari told me about their cleaning products but she did not push them. She also explained and showed me how I should clean my piercing. I was very happy with my experience, glad I ignored the bad reviews, and I recommend Bay Street Tattoos .

I had a rough time. We came in for an appointment in early June and it was close to 90 degrees outside. The AC was definitely not strong in the building (relevant later). When I asked about cleaner the piercer only gave me a sales pitch about how natural their solution was, rather than sharing expert advice on what I could use. I went with their cleaner, and it did not speed up healing but since it required dabbing with q-tips, I found it irritated my ears more. Use a spray instead.Once it was time for my piercings they sat me down in an upright chair. I so wish they would’ve asked if I’d like to be pierced laying down. After my second piercing, I told the piercer I felt nauseous and then I passed out. The piercer used smelling salts to wake me up, which was incredibly traumatic (and archaic) and ultimately the ammonia caused me to throw up in their space. My partner and I ended up cleaning it up as the piercer grabbed one of the trays that was near me and started piercing other clients a few feet away.

Absolutely AMAZING service! Sheri is a very sweet lady, and very skilled! My piercings were done quick and easy, and she gave a lot of good aftercare tips. Very clean and calm environment. Ill definitely be back!

I visited Bay Street Tattoo back in late July after pretty recently deciding to get a nose piercing with my friend. I had absolutely no idea where I wanted it or what style I wanted, but Sherri was patient with me as I decided and walked me through the options, offering her advice on what would be best. She kept steady and cheerful conversation throughout the whole process, calming absolutely any nerves ever and geeking out with me over Harry Potter :)In the end, I was given a natural cleaning solution and told to come back if I had any issues. I was returning home to Florida the next day, so returning wasn’t an option, but it healed perfectly and i have had no need to return since!! I have also been told how perfectly it was placed many times, and that’s all on her!Thank you for making my first (non-ear) piercing as quick, enjoyable, and painless as possible!

Amazing experience...Already back for my 2nd round. Great atmosphere and Walts work is amazing. There is a wait and a booking process and it is frustrating when you want a tattoo the same day it pops in your head to have to book a consult and then a session. However Walt is worth the wait. I went to several artist for a design and wanted their concepts. I wasted a lot of time. When I spoke with Walt he nailed it with variations customized for my ideas. Im so happy I found an artist that is professional, talented and amazing 👏 🙌

Let me tell you I’m very picky and have to do massive research before deciding on important things in my life! My daughter received a second ear piercing and I received a nose piercing. Sherri is excellent! She worked well with my daughter and myself! She explained the process well and didn’t rush us through anything! I highly recommend…it’s an all around good vibe. Yesterday afternoon I went in to have my earlobes re-pierced (having a severe nickel allergy, Ive had to have all of my piercings taken out: industrial, lobes, cartilage, industrial, eyebrow, lip and tongue), and I was Very happy I did!!!Sheri was my piercer, and I waited patiently as she finished up with a first-time nose piercing. What a wonderful lady!! Her very presence is serene and puts people at ease, shes very knowledgeable, and my ears were done in seconds with No pain at all!! I also purchased a bottle of their all-natural healing solution and it feels amazing on my new piercings.This is an amazing shop, and I will be going there for all of my future piercings (if my lobes decide to heal with no problem that is!), and most likely for any future tattoos!

I brought my 9 yr old daughter to get her ears pierced. Sheri was as amazing as all the other reviewers described. My daughter was very nervous, and Sheri was so kind and patient. And I really appreciated that she explained everything directly to my daughter. Really made it her experience and enabled her to make the decisions. And the piercing itself was so fast!

I called in asking if Sheri could squeeze me in for a nose and 2 lobe piercings— she was able to right away! I came in and was there for maybe 15 minutes. I was looking for a place in Milwaukee that is in a safe neighborhood to get my navel piercing done. I found Bay Street Tattoo Co. by google search and made a appointment with Sheri. It was my first piercing besides my standard earlobe ones and I was nervous. Sheri was so nice, professional and made the whole process so easy. She explained everything she did beforehand and was extremely informative on the aftercare process and talked to me about a tattoo I have been wanting. She explained that the shop really valued their work and customers which definitely shined through. I will be coming back for my next tattoo or piercing. High recommend this place!!

I had an amazing first tattoo experience with Walt. He is not only an amazing and detail oriented artist, but a really cool dude. 6 hour tattoo and no awkward pauses. Dude is a pure professional, and gives you a solid therapy session on top of his artwork. I plan on coming back for my next, and will be sure to recommend him to my body art fan friends.

Ive gotten a small tattoo as well as a nose piercing at Bay Street Tattoo. Walt did an amazing job on the tat! Did exactly what I wanted and was super chill to work with. I love how it turned out! Sheri did my nose piercing and did a great job explaining what she was going to do and how to care for it afterwards. She made the process quick and (mostly) painless! I got my septum piercing done by Sheri. She was super friendly, informative, and caring. This was my first piercing besides lobes and I was fairly anxious. Sheri made me feel comfortable, explained the process, did a practice round with the clamp, and then did the actual piercing. My eyes are very sensitive and I was extremely teary eyed after the piercing, Sheri was very patient and actually helped me clear up my face instead of trying to rush me out. Afterwards, Sheri went into a great detail about how to care for my piercing, which jewelry to use/what each piece is used for and how it would look. I went here on the recommendation of a friend and would absolutely come back.

I had an initial tattoo consult appt in mid-November. I wanted to move forward with the next appt, so Walt gave me his email to directly contact him to set this up, saying that I should be able to get in by December, when I was hoping to. Im not sure about their turnaround time with emails...but after about 3 weeks, I got zero response to either of my emails or voicemail. Maybe theres a better contact method for this place? But after being given the email I should contact Walt at, Im confused and disappointed by how my request was not responded to, even after I attended the initial appointment. Too bad - I was excited to try this place out for my first tattoo, after seeing all the great reviews.

I am so happy with my tattoo experience at Bay Street! The shop is clean with solid COVID protocols. Walt did an amazing job, both on the tattoo and providing a comfortable experience. I was relatively nervous, but felt very relaxed after settling in. Highly recommended, will be back!

I went in for a delicate flower tattoo under my collarbone and I had a great experience. I was immediately greeted by Sheri and she was super helpful and nice. The shop was super clean and cute. My tattoo artist was Walt and I couldnt recommend him enough. He was able to do exactly what I wanted and I know it required a lot of talent because the flower I wanted had such fine detail. He first drew a stencil of a picture I brought in and his drawing looked better than the picture I brought in. Before doing my tattoo he made sure it was exactly what I wanted and in the right place and made me feel comfortable the whole time. My tattoo turned out amazing. The lines are so delicate and the shading in the small flowers is beautiful. Walt is amazing! 10 out of 10 -would recommend this place!

My daughter just received two nose piercing today! One side was a stud and the other a ring! Sheri was so nice and professional. I would recommend her to everyone! Don’t miss out on this great place!

Not sure what happened. i put down a $50 deposit and they said it would go towards my tattoo. got two tattoos (which were great!) and they charged me full price, not giving me the deposit towards it. i didn’t realize until after i left and i’ve been trying to call them for months, probably 5-6 times at this point, and no one answers the phone! i guess i’ll just consider it a really big tip (plus the 20% i already gave). but super awkward experience now that they won’t answer the phone. was going to get a couple more tattoos with this artist but i’ll look elsewhere.

I cant speak to the tattoo aspect since I have no experience with that, but its a great place for piercing. They were very knowledgeable, professional, and warm and friendly. We took my partner there to get their ears pierced (just the lobes, nothing fancy). The space is clean and pleasant and has a nice layout, with a couch and chairs for friends and family to sit while they wait. They also sell an all-natural cleanser to use to keep the earrings (or whatever) and the piercing itself clean while it heals. If I decide to get my ears pierced, Im planning to go back there.

I had my nose piercing done at this establishment. I followed every direction in regards to washing, cleaning, and care. I started to have swelling and pain after initially having none. I called a few days latter and was told it was nothing just normal healing. The following day I was more concerned so I stopped in. They assured me it was normal and nothing to worry about. I continued using the recommended product and doing exactly as directed. I knew it was an infection and had my friend that is a PA confirm. So I headed in to my DR who said she was glad I came in. I needed a course of antibiotics and it took 2 weeks to heal.

My piercing experience here was great! They walked through everything I had to do with after care, answered all my questions, and were incredibly sweet. The pricing was very reasonable for cartilage piercings.Edit: I have gotten a total of 7 piercings here now and everytime is amazing!! When the shop was closed once, I was going to get pierced at a different shop but ultimately walked out. The customer service is just too good at Bay Street, and the prices are great!

Went in after a different tattoo place pierced my friends septum with way too big of a piercing. Sherri made us feel welcomed and comfortable, and even gave my friend a teddy bear to cuddle while she switched out the piercing! She explained to us everything she was doing before she did. I will definitely be coming back here with any piercing or tattoos & will be recommending this place to anyone in the future!

They did a great job with the eyebrow piercing but be aware that they over charge for service.Eyebrow Piercing (Barbell)$ 45.00Price includes standard starter jewelry. $10 deposit is required to hold your appointment and will come off the total cost of your service.Above was copied directly from their website. Yet I was charge 47.50 for the piercing and I was also charged $10 to hold my appointment. So total I paid $57.50 for the piercing. Their website should be changed for false advertising. Happy with the piercing disappointedthat I was over charged. I will not return and would not recommend. To me this is sneaky and misleading, there is trust lost.

The woman behind the counter with the most beautiful silver colored hair was so incredibly polite and kind and quick (the whole process took less then a minute). I was genually not the happiest person that day walking in (this was literally yesterday 🤣 2/10/2022) ... I should have called before hand but Im being a fool and lost in my own. Anyway, she was so genuine it made me feel great and she did pierce my nose, I have a chiari malformation so this piercing is supposed to help with headaches to any degree, so heres goes crossing my fingers. 🥳anyway, this place is great, I will be back for a touch up on my ankle tattoo just as I said I would before leaving 🥰 maybe extra work!!! Had Sherry pierce my second earring holes today, after having her pierce my septum a while back. By far the best piercer and piercing experiences I’ve ever had! Sherry is quick, efficient, and just an absolute joy!

A few months ago I got my first helix piercing at Bay Street Tattoo. The piercer was professional, understanding, and clearly answered all of my questions. Her piercing care instructions were also super detailed and easy to understand, so I had no issues with my piercing after the fact.I recommend this place to all of my friends and family for its clean environment and knowledgeable staff!

I got my nose pierced at a different place and it was starting to look very red and was starting to form a bump. I called Bay Street Tattoo and they were more than willing to let me come in to buy their cleaning solution even without an appointment. The woman I worked with there was so nice. It worked like a charm and my nose piercing is looking fabulous now after using this solution for a few weeks!

Wasn’t asked what earrings I would like to wear when my piercing was complete. Since I walked in and asked for what I wanted done. There was a list of reasons why they might not get the piercings to look identical. Only one of my ears was pierced and I was charged 50$… when it was 60$ for both. I would not recommend this place. I would even pay more for better service. I was also told to put contact solution to clean my ears so I wouldn’t get an infection.

I had never gotten a piercing in my whole life until I came here, looked up a few places and this was the closest with the best reviews. We called to make sure they had a piercing person there because the first place I wanted to try didnt have one. We got quick service and really great advice on gauging and how to keep your piercing from getting infected and when to change sizes. That lady was awesome.

I got a piercing here a year ago. It was great! The piercer was really calm and nice and was okay with me being nervous. But now a year later its time to change my jewelry and I know the gauges are available on their website but I dont see my specific piercing listed. I have called, emailed, texted on google, and tried instagram. I havent gotten a reply when Im really disappointed about so I have to go about figuring out the gauge myself.EDIT: I am trying to figure out the gauge of a septum piercing they use. The link provided doesnt show the gauge and neither does the website. I am left to just guess nose ring might mean septum

I got my tragus pierced at a different shop and came here to get it changed. The piercer was awesome. She saw my piercing was having some problems, and told me exactly what to do to fix it. She changed my piercing with a piece of jewelry she thought would let it heal the best. She was very experienced and knowledgeable. I really appreciate all of their help! Would definitely recommend!

This shop was awesome! The artist, Walt, did a phenomenal job on my tattoo. It was my first time so I was a little nervous. But he did everything that I asked and made sure everything was correct. I got my daith and my sister got her belly button. The woman who pierced us was very nice and sweet. Everything was sanitary and prepared. She showed me a picture of where the daith is to make sure I knew where it was and warned me about the pain and everything. Although the cartilage is thick, the peircing went by pretty quickly! She made sure I kept taking deep breaths and explained about how to clean it well and avoid keloids. I didnt get a tattoo, but the artist was really nice and talked to the woman he worked on. I would definetly recommend my friends to come here.

I got my first tattoo here. I was really nervous because I am not a good with pain or needles. I still went through with it though and the woman there is SO nice. She gave me a little bear to hold because I was such a baby lol! I am so glad I went through with it, it was so worth it. Great place. Was clean, and good friendly service.
