Forbidden Fruit Tattoo and Piercing

I got a tattoo with my dad from Atom, and he was absolutely amazing! We both love out tattoos. Just beautiful art! I loved the environment in the shop too. I immediately felt at ease. Knew almost immediately I came to the right place. I will be recommending Atom to anyone wanting a tattoo. I can NOT wait to go back for my next one! Thank you to Atom for the beautiful piece I get to proudly show off!

My boyfriend and I just got our tattoos at this shop and I have never been happier with a result!! Communication was amazing! And the atmosphere was inviting and cozy!I can’t wait to return to finish up my amazing tattoo!! I will definitely be back for more tats on the future, maybe even a piercing!

Right off the bat it’s a comfortable and welcoming environment. All of the staff were personable and funny as hell. Ariel did an amazing job with listening to what I wanted and making sure I was confident with what I was getting. Definitely would recommend going to Ariel for your future tattoos. This place is amazing! i got my first ever tattoo done by Atom and i couldn’t be happier with it. the line work is great the shading is fantastic and all around just an amazing tattoo. and not only that but an awesome artist! Atom helped make sure i wasn’t stressed and that it didn’t hurt too bad! a very comfortable and clean place to get your tattoos i highly recommend!

Had an amazing experience here. Logan pierced my friend and I both and did a wonderful job. We were both very nervous and were getting multiple piercings, right from the jump Logans professionalism and honesty helped put us both at ease. He really went above and beyond and I will definitely be back for any future piercings.

Had a deposit on a tattoo and was very rude when my wife wanted to get a piercing instead. Was trying to figure out the situation to get it done but was nothing but attitude and poor business like demeanor! I see all these 5 stars must have been for tattoos and not piercing so much for great business will take our money else where was planning on spending a lot of money here too!!

I just got a tattoo on my arm today and I love it! The atmosphere in the shop is so welcoming. Chrissy has done a piercing for me a few weeks ago & she is so nice and is so easy to talk to! Honestly could’ve sat there for hours just chatting with both of them! Atom made sure you didn’t feel anxious or anything. Definitely going to keep coming here & recommend to anyone!

Atom has done my tattoos for the last 3 years. He’s a great person and artist who is always down for an awesome conversation! Each tattoo he’s done is uniquely drawn and suits exactly the style i want. Atom has even done cover ups for me too! If you go in you’ll have someone who actually listens to what you want and knows what he’s doing!! I recommend him for anyone who wants quality work.

I have been a client of Chrissy and Atom for many years and have flown out from Colorado multiple times to have work done by these two. The attention to detail when it comes to cleanliness and artistry is second to none.I had a nose piercing recently done by Chrissy and I was so impressed. The pain was quick and minimal and the piercing had the fastest recovery time of any piercing I have ever had done. I really appreciated that she took her time when it came to placement and took my nose shape into consideration. I love my nose ring!I have had multiple tattoos done by Atom. One is on my forearm and I am constantly complimented on how good it looks and asked who did it. The quality of his work is beyond impressive and keeps getting better!I will be back again and again!!!!

Atom is a master of his craft. Currently working on a Star Wars sleeve/cover-up. Atom is super meticulous and very efficient. Extremely creative full of great ideas. Once the sleeve is complete, I will definitely be coming back for more.

UPDATE: Chrissy pierced my septum tonight!! Im TERRIFIED of needles in other peoples hands. Shes the only person Ive ever allowed to pierce my face.Chrissy was amazing. It barely hurt at all. The worst part was turning the jewelry in. Even now, it doesnt hurt. And I LOVE IT.Original: Not only have I had work done by Atom and Chrissy, I had the pleasure of working with them. Their attention to safety, cleanliness, and quality has no rival. They are competent, capable, and knowledgeable about their arts.In Chrissy, I have finally found someone I trust more than myself to do my piercings, and I WILL be coming in to have a few done soon! She knows the APP standards and local health codes like the back of her hand, and will meet or exceed them. If you have any issues with or questions about your piercings, call her. Even if you got your piercing done somewhere else, she can help troubleshoot.And Atom took the time to get to know me well enough to take one of my deepest fears--centipedes--and made a custom tattoo for me that made me JUMP at the chance to have them tattooed on me. He focused on their maternal instincts, and then twined two of them around each other with their legs paired up, reminiscent of a strand of DNA. Im a genetics student. I LOVE my tattoo, and over the years, I have even grown to love centipedes. His willingness to engage with people on a personal level and think outside the box make him a hell of an artist.And they are both advocates. They do not leave room for anyone to be treated poorly or as less than. They create a space where you can just *exist* and outside pressures are left at the door. Inclusive. Passionate. Powerhouses.

My brother and I just came back from our walk-in. We went for my lobes to be reopened and for my brother to get his lobes pierced. I went in and got a conch ear piercing from Chrissy. She was very professional and an incredible person to be around! Not only that but this has to be the easiest healing process Ive ever had out of the 10+ piercings Ive gotten. She is also personally curating an ear setup for me so that I can get the perfect piercings for my anatomy.I also got tattooed by Atom and he is also an incredible person! He talks to you before, during , and after the tattoo process, and you can tell he has a good head on his shoulders and a kind heart for all. I texted him my idea and he immediately threw together a sketch that was exactly what I had imagined. As an added bonus, they allow children to come, so parents dont have to worry about finding someone to watch their child(ren) during their appointment or walk-in. This is where I will be getting all of my tattoos and piercings from now on. Im so glad I found this place.

Ive been going to Atom for my tattoo needs ever since I had him do my very first piece around 3 years ago! I also had the pleasure of having Chrissy do my first piercings with my ear gauges! Both of them are incredibly knowledgeable and skillful when it comes to their respective art forms and make a super inviting and friendly environment every time I come in for some work. Great art and even greater people! Atom has done 1 tattoo for me and a few for my parents (based on my recommendation 😉). He has a very distinct style and his tats are very well done. Chrissy has done multiple piercings for me too, all which have healed wonderfully. The studio is also very clean. Of course these things are important, but I think it’s also important to note that it’s awesome to have a studio owned by people who share values of diversity and inclusivity, and who have created a safe space for minorities of every kind. Highly recommend FFTP to anyone looking for an awesome tattoo or piercing experience. 5 stars is not enough!

My husband and I came in for a Joker & Harley Quinn tattoo. We had original appointments with Atom before Lucky Rabbit decided to close its doors so we followed Atom over to Forbidden Fruit to carry out the appointments. He was very kind and honored the Lucky Rabbit gift card we were planning on using.Due to no fault of Atoms, my Harley Quinn isn’t quite finished and we have another session planned in the upcoming few weeks. I am simply a big wuss and couldn’t handle 2ish hours of tattooing. Which also goes to show how fast of a worker Atom is! While I was upset with myself at not seeing it all the way through, Atom was very kind and cared a lot about his client comfortability. He is very knowledgeable about tattooing and recommended a type of numbing cream for our next session while also being kind enough to reassure me that it is ok to use numbing cream- no shame in it at all. Chrissy and Atom nurture a safe, clean, family friendly environment and doesn’t cater to your typical hardcore tattoo studio. 🖤

Went yesterday and Chrissy did two piercings for me, a stud in my nose and my daith, and let me tell you:1. There was a $23 sale honoring the grads, which is awesome, the whole shop is really clean and well decorated, jewelry was a very fair price, and shes probably the most fastidious piercer I have ever had and Im up around 20 piercings past and present. Honestly if I could give 6/5 stars I would, and I would happily recommend going to see her for any piercings youre thinking about getting.Thanks so much Chrissy for a great experience and the perfect placements!
