Fox & Sparrow Tattoo

This place is amazing! It’s got good service and timely service! Joshua Chatwin is especially awesome! I have 4 tattoos, my sister has one, my mom has one, and my grandmother has one and they were all done by Joshua! This place really knows what they’re doing and will talk to you as you get your tattoo instead of being awkwardly silent. The location is 45 minutes to 1 hour from where I live and will still go there no matter what!

Recently has tattoos done by both Sammie and Ethan! Extremely happy with both of them and will be going back for more in the future! Highly recommend them. The shop is very clean and both artists had great “bedside manner”. Both artists gave me exactly what I was looking for and I will only go to their shop for my tattoos!

This place is amazing! Haven’t been to their new shop yet but definitely will if and when I’m back in town for work. But I just want to say everyone there are amazing! First time there I had Ethan do a little finger tattoo for a inside joke at work and did wonders with it, took his time and asked questions from Josh on how to get it perfect which speaks volumes, and to me I thought he did great! Then my second time around I started my leg, and I gotta say Josh had it looking top tier! Got me in there and got it done, absolutely some of the best work I’ve had done, needless to say I’ll definitely go back! Thanks again guys for the great work and definitely some great laughs!

The vibe was perfect for my first tattoo. Ethan is an excellent artist that drew up an awesome design for me with just being told that I wanted a chicken with Arthur Morgan’s cowboy hat. Laura and Sam were in and Sam was able to take my wife as a walk-in in a spur of the moment decision. Very professional and will be going back!

Josh and sam have both gave me multiple tattoos and the number will keep going up. They are kind and professional. Most importantly they are extremely talented. Every design they make is quality, and the funnest part about having their tattoos is the compliments you get from other people. And I always love to tell them who gave me my tats when they ask.prices are very fair as well.

I went in to get my fourth and fifth tattoos at Fox & Sparrow today, and my experience was FABULOUS. Laura was my artist and she was so sweet and so amazing. The whole experience from booking to when I walked out the door was great. The atmosphere in the shop is so welcoming and the decor alone is enough to make you want to be there, the people just make it even better!! My friend was with me the whole time and she decided she’ll be getting her tattoos from there in the future as well. I cannot wait to go back and get more ink from these guys, they’re so so awesome.Out of the three shops I’ve been to in Muncie, this one was by far the best ;)

Amazing Tattoo shop! One of the very best, if not the best in the area. Sean was amazing. I got a portrait of my German Shepherd and it’s perfect. I love how all of the artists are so kind. They all came over to watch and see the progress when they weren’t busy doing their own work. They work so well as a team and they all put in their input to make sure you get the absolute best tattoo. Sean’s ability to do black and white realism is astonishing. This is my third dog portrait from Sean and definitely plan on returning.

Samantha did an absolutely phenomenal job on my first color tattoo. I picked out one of her original designs and let her do her thing! I’ve had so many compliments on this piece. I love it!

I had the best experience at Fox and Sparrow. They were great to work with and did phenomenal jobs on the tattoos. Samantha and Josh did the tattoos that my son and I received. Fox and Sparrow tattoo is the most comfortable and clean shop I’ve been to! Samantha has completed two tattoos for me and begun the outline of my sleeve & I could not be happier with the results! Her line work is impeccable, her colors are vibrant, & she can work with just about the squirmiest of clients (that thigh tat was rough haha)!!! I’ve been tattooed by nearly everyone at this shop. From Josh Chatwin who did my very first tattoo back when I’d just turned 18 when Lucky Rabbit was still around. To Sean King who did my first ~big~ tattoo and gave me some of the coolest sea inspired tats I have to date. To Samantha Chatwin who was actually an apprentice when I was getting tattooed regularly by Sean in 2013. I started going to her primarily after Sean moved out of state for a bit and she’s done a good majority of my work over the last 6 years, giving me the prettiest fairy tale sleeve I could ask for. Everyone that works here is not only incredibly talented but also so, so welcoming and down to earth. Finding a good tattoo shop can be intimidating, but I honestly trust *everyone* here. They’re all so talented and put so much care and love into the work they do. My skin wouldn’t look near as cool if it weren’t for them

I was tattooed by Samantha a few years ago when she worked at black sword, I had two tattoos done by her; a bat and an fallen angel. The first tattoo I got from her I was pretty happy with, I specifically was looking for a woman artist because it made me feel safer and she seemed pretty nice. However, when I got the second tattoo it was a different experience. My sibling and I had booked appointments around the same time and when we arrived she had not drawn up our designs. I seemed to have upset her, as for the rest of the appointment she was really angry and curt. This was very distressing for me as an autistic individual, because I wasnt sure what social interaction I had failed. When it got to the actual tattooing it was very traumatic. I had been tattooed several times, but it felt like she was deliberating digging her needle in as deep as she could go almost like she wanted to hurt me on purpose. Even now the healed tattoo has significant scarring and raised lines. I could not continue with the full session. I dont hate the tattoo, but it is not exactly what I had wanted and it was very traumatic to have been treated so roughly.

My tattoo is beautiful! I’ve been tattooed by Samantha multiple times and every session is great. Muncie is lucky to have a shop where they can trust artists to be creative, professional and honest. All of their work is impressive. Josh and Sam created a studio that is approachable and accepting for our community.

I had a really good experience from the start. From trying to find an artist to my tattoo being done. They were all really nice, the shop is very clean and they made sure that I was happy with the design. Got my first tattoo, an excellent Zoidberg MMC mashup tattoo, from Ethan at Fox & Sparrow. Would absolutely recommend. Hes kind, doesnt make you feel like a square when youre a noob, and does excellent work with cartoon characters. Im pretty much fully healed up within about two weeks.

I got a piece done at Fox and Sparrow on 1/12/2023. My artist was Samantha and honestly it was one of the best tattoo experiences I’ve had. She was very personable, made me feel comfortable, and was very encouraging when this piece was a little more painful than I anticipated.I can’t wait to go back and get another piece done. The shop was beautifully decorated, paperwork was straight forward and quick, and everything was super clean.

I’ve been tattooed by Joshua Chatwin several times throughout his whole tattooing career. When I wanted something small and simple done after not getting any tattoos for a few years, I made the two hour roundtrip drive to his new shop. Joshua clearly takes the art and safety of tattooing very seriously, the cleanliness and overall vibe of their new studio is awesome and welcoming, and he worked with me extensively on design and placement to make sure I was totally satisfied. Even if you’re not in Muncie, it’s absolutely worth the drive to come here.

This shop is amazing! I got my first tattoo here a few weeks ago with Kaylea and everyone in the shop was incredibly kind and informative. The whole shop atmosphere was fun and comfortable. Kaylea was so nice with it being my first tattoo and helped me understand the process all while making sure I was comfortable. HIGHLY recommend this shop for anyone, especially for first time tattoo pieces!

Fox and Sparrow is home to some of the best tattoo artists in the game. No matter what design or style you bring to them, their talented artists will take the time to listen and work with you to ensure you walk away happy with your new piece. The space is inviting, clean, and comfortable, and everyone there is friendly, accommodating, and professional. Definitely worth checking out, whether this is your first tattoo or you are adding to your collection.

Kaylea has done two tattoos on me just this year and they are incredible! My first tattoo was a request I had I sent her a couple ideas but also wanted her to create it her own way. My second tattoo from her was one she had already drawn up and was available to use and it was so perfect that I trusted her completely on her design! I recommend Kaylea to anybody that is wanting a tattoo!
