Twice now Ive come at the request of my daughter as a reward for good behavior. Twice now Ive come in the middle of the day and its closed with a paper sign on the door saying On Break, Will Return THX Mgr. Ive worked jobs where Im the only one there. I know the importance of a break. I wish there was some consistency with the break times or a sign saying closed everyday from 1 to 2 or something. Im not wanting to come waste another trip here for the same thing.

Never answer the phone. Also I went in there for a cartilage piercing on both ears and she had them so freaking crooked she had to pierce one of my ears twice just to straighten it up and she tried to convince me it was fine on top of she smells like cat pee

There are a lot of selections available. The store was a bit messy and items were out of place. It caused some confusion about prices. The employee acted annoyed when we asked for assistance. She may have been busy or just having a bad day. Its difficult in retail right now. We skipped getting ears pierced because we didnt want to cause any problems with an already busy employee. Id suggest hiring more people or that management step in and help. I gave four stars due to the unorganized stock and price confusion. Please support your employees better.

Samantha went above and beyond for my daughter and I. The amount of kindness, patience, and love she showed my daughter and I, she will forever be apart of an amazing memory for us. Meghan the store manager was sooooo great!! Her professionalism, fun and kind personality was exactly what i needed for piercing my ears for the first time in a LONG time!! We will DEFINITELY be back!!

If I could give negative stars, I would. My daughter has been asking for 6 months to get her ears pierced and wanted to go to Claire’s. We took her in and the lady was sitting on the floor stocking - she didn’t even acknowledge that she saw us when we walked right passed her. When I asked if she did the ear piercing she rudely said “yeah - you got a mask?” She very rudely and in short explained their policy so we left. I definitely couldn’t see letting her pierce my daughters ears when she clearly HATED her job…

Took my daughter who is 6 to get her ears pierced. The lady was super nice and sweet and made the experience wonderful ❤️

They had signs everywhere that said by three jewelry get three free so I bought three and after I paid for it i said, dont I get three free jewelry? and the employee said , oh yeah, well now youll have to buy three more so I can refund you. this was very disappointing and was the only reason I bought three pairs of earrings.

I’ve never left a bad review before and I still absolutely love Claire’s, but I ran into the rudest employee today at the old fort parkway location (5/20). I walked in at opening and asked if they were still doing piercings. The employee said by appointment only. I asked if I could make an appointment today, even if it was later on in the day. She replied, “Nope, can’t do it today.” She did not offer to make me an appointment for another day. I find it hard to believe that any Claire’s location is completely booked piercing appointments in the middle of a pandemic on a Wednesday but I remained respectful. I asked if I could at least shop for some new earrings and she no, not without a mask. She continued to stand blocking the store entrance with her body and would not let me come in. I had left my mask in the car and would have gone and gotten it (I was planning on it if she has agreed to the piercing or bought a new mask entirely from her if she offered) but was so turned off by her that I decided I would go elsewhere.I called the Smryna location and they were super nice. They said they weren’t requiring clients to make appointments but I could make one if I wanted. I’ll be driving the extra distance to them from now on. I understand times are a little stressful right now but I think it’s still important to be respectful to clients and professional. This young women was incredibly rude as well as lost that store 100$+ in sales for the day. I only wished I had asked her name so that I could have avoided her in particular and kept going to the store, which has a great selection of jewelry as far as Claire’s stores go and who previously done a good job with my old piercings. There is no reason to treat anyone this way, especially someone who was being nice and understanding.

Store employees were beyond rude. There were boxes piled on the floor you had to maneuver your way around or even trip over just to make your way through the tiny store.

Very quick and friendly place to get my daughters ears pierced and free earrings for a year is great.

Samantha was AMAZING with my daughter. She did an awesome job on piercing and went above and beyond to make sure we were Haku when we left.

When we arrived a sign on the door said closed. Will return at 5:35. We waited. At 5:40, a girl arrives and said she can’t do our piercing because they’re closing at 6. The store wasn’t supposed to close until 9pm. She wasn’t even polite.

Every time I try to go to get my ears pierced they are closed it says on Google that they close at 8pm the day I went. I got there around 7pm and there was a lady inside and she got mad and saying that they were closed but why an hour early

I got my 4 year old daughters ear pierced today and Elizabeth did a great job! She was so sweet. I was nervous for my daughter but Elizabeth did it quickly and safely. Thank you!

I will never ship anything to this store ever again nor order from their website. I ordered my daughters jewelry box and dreamcatcher on the 30th of August. I kept a check on my order by calling customer service and checking my emails daily to see what was taking so long. When I spoke to customer service on 9/8 they stated that my order was still pending and in route. Again no email updates until today 9/12 stating that their will be a refund going back to my account...wth? Not knowing that the box had been sitting in the freaking store all this time! Why didnt anyone call me from the store to say that my order was in? This is such bad customer service and im highly irritated.

The girls are hilarious and pierced both my baby’s ears. They did a fantastic job and helped me find some earrings which ended up being on sale and you get 20% off the entire store when you get a piercing! Heads up you need a mask to get your ears pierced!

Impressive customer service! I went on there on a weeknight to pick out a best friends necklace. I let the two kind saleswomen the style I had in mind, and they helped me find a perfect one . Not only that, but I got 3 free accessories because of what I bought. They are excellent there st the Claires in Murfreesboro.

We got our baby girl’s ears pierced here. We didn’t get the lady’s name that did the piercing, but she was amazing and very patient. Our daughter’s ears are doing well and healing nicely. We have heard horror stories about going to places like this for piercing baby ears, but our experience was perfect! The placement of the holes was spot on for both ears and everything is even. She experiences no pain when we clean and rotate the earrings. Thanks for the great service on our baby!

I just got yelled at by the assistant manager for trying on earrings I wanted to buy..I didnt know we aren’t allowed to try them on. She acted like it was the end of the world and refused to sterilize them. I know they can sanitize the material for ear piercings, so why not earrings? It’s not like the earrings now have a disease. Anyways, they need a sign if she was going to force me to buy it. This is a warning to anyone else: dont try them on unless you want to get yelled at for it.

Google says it opens at 11am on Sunday. Its actually noon. The mask requirement is nonsense. You have to hold the mask on the kid, but you dont have to wear one. I know its Covid times, but I cant take these people seriously.

As someone posted earlier, I had the same experience! I wanted to go in and ask about ear piercings, but got yelled at for not having my mask on. Had it in my purse, but being yelled at instead of being asked POLITELY if I had a mask was unacceptable. You lost another 100+ sale today.

Extremely bad attitude from the lady that was there, we went in on August 15 at 2:30 to get our daughters ear pearced and she wouldnt even looked at us a the eyes and when we decided to leave she said she was glad she wasnt going to do it. Really bad for business and would not recommend anyone to go there.

I had my daughters ears pierced at Claires in April. When the lady marked her ears, I told her that I thought it was too high on the right side. She said she will pierced at the bottom of the mark. Well, she didnt. Its still high. My daughters ears only swelled for less than an hour after the piercing. We spend the extra $ to get the rapid 3 week cleaning solution. We clean and follow the instruction that was provided to us. And I kept cleaning her ears up to 5 weeks until we used up all the solution. I really felt that the lady should spent more time with us to demonstrate how to care for the earrings. And I rotated her earrings 2-3 times a day for several weeks so they heal properly. I really thought my daughter didnt have a problem with her piercing. Now, 5 months later I took my daughters earrings out to switch with another pair of earrings. Well, it was so difficult get them out. I was able to put new earring in the right side only. But left side, the back of it got infected. And she will not let me put anything there. I have been cleaning it with Bactine and putting neosporin on it 2-3 times a day for 5 days now and it is finally looking normal again. But her left ear hole is now closed. If I had to do this over again, I would have gotten her ears done at a doctors office.

The manager pierced my daughters ears. She picked the solution that was $12 more without clarifying which one we wanted. When we explained we didnt want the more expensive solution, she said there was nothing she could do since she already opened it. Frustrating!

Rudest store people I have ever seen > The lady did not want to wait on us the when I ask a simple question about how the buy three get free work and comment back that is not how most work it she smarted off said dont buy them then so rude it was not Shelby but the black girl who worked with her. I ask for the manager name and number she refuse to give it to me rude they loss my business for ever.

Very bad service I went to do my child’s ear piercing and the lady who was going to attend us had an attitude from the start. So I decided to just walk away because of her attitude.

The manager is so rude. Look chick if you hate your job so much dont be there and you definitely shouldnt be the manager. We just said forget it and walked out, we will never be back in there.

Employees behind the counter 2 young girls acted like they didnt want to wait on anyone and were busy talking to each other about personal life to care about their job.

Very unprofessional. I have been calling for two whole weeks trying to get in contact about my job interview and they have not answered a single time. I know for a fact that they don’t really answer the phones because one of the managers told me herself.

Overall, it’s a good store but some of the employees are so rude and their prices are way too high for the quality of the merchandise.
