I came here a week ago to get my 2nd lobe earrings and Sandy was amazing! She was caring, knowledgeable, and professional. The place was very clean. I’m back now to get my helix piercing and I feel I’m in the best hands here.

I went in on a Tuesday afternoon like 5 o’clock and my artist was Zapp. He was so professional, and Different. Is art was out of this world, and his vibes are unmatched. If you’re in the South Carolina area definitely check him out his prices are reasonable I had no reason to complain. I will be back his patience is unmatched. I’m so happy with my tattoo I even got a piercing I got Dermals on the piercing side and she was the sweetest lady ever. Again Check him out

Jordan is amazing. She does amazing work. If you need some ink you need to go and see her 💯‼️She did amazing work doing my sons finger print and his signature. He passed away 10/08/2020. Thats my tattoo artist. You will leave there with a smile I promise.

My second time going here. Not happy. My piercing is not straight. Its pointing upward. Im going to have to go somewhere else to have to pay someone else to have it fixed. Im not really sure what all this girl charged me for, but it was very expensive for 2 things. Different person from before. Very disappointed.

Highly recommend this place for tattoos! me and my boyfriend decided to get a tattoo while on vacay here in SC last minute, we called them and seen if they had openings. the person on the phone was super friendly and nice. they fit us in within 30 minutes of calling. our tattoo artist (unfortunately didnt get his name) was super helpful and nice. it was my first tattoo and i was super nervous, but we had a conversation the entire time during my appt. and he did such a good job of doing exactly what i wanted. i will definetly be coming here again!

Zap was amazing went in on Tuesday gave him an idea of what I wanted . I then went back today (Friday) for the finished idea and was amazing. I sat down 3 hour session chatted and got the work done . Couldn’t be happier big shout out to dr. Ink and Zap thanks.

Omg im on vaca from New Hampshire and wanted to get a tattoo with My bestie and to get my daughters name on me . So after looking online and going there to show whay I drew to jave on us mike did a great job cleaning it up and putting it on us price was very good and very clean there .

Zap is an incredible artist! There arent enough good things to say about him, his quality of work, and his professionalism. My wife and I got tattoos from him this time last year. From the get-go he was amazing to work with and was inviting, attentive, and genuinely cared about our interests and what we wanted. The black and gray tattoo was last year and I wanted to give him a lot of artistic freedom, and believe me, he didnt disappoint. The piece speaks for itself. Since we absolutely loved working with Zap last year, we decided to keep up the tradition and get more tattoos from our favorite artist. Again, I wanted to give him as little direction as possible, and to let his talent shine. The only ideas we were throwing around was that I liked the look of an octopus, or that something space-themed might be cool. That was all Zap was given, and you could literally see inspiration come to him and he was so excited that I knew whatever he came up with, I would love. Space Octopus was born! While I was getting this amazing piece, both Zap and my wife just kept saying how cool it was and much they loved it. That got me equally excited. And I was blown away! Zap could not have done a better job. I highly recommend Zap, whether its your first tattoo, or one among many, he is your guy!Also, Dr. Ink is a very clean place and very professional. Each artist has their own creative space, so it makes for an excellent artistic atmosphere. We loved it there, and were really glad we could go to Zap there! Definitely will go again in the future.

I absolutely LOVE going to Dr. ink! James has been the one to do all 3 of these! Going to get a 4th one on Friday from him. If you go see him , tell him you seen his work thru Montana! Very reasonable prices too!

Let me just say Dillon was absolutely AMAZING!!! Of all the places on seaboard Ive been to Ive never been treated with such respect/love & care from a complete stranger who at the end of all this mad us feel like family! My daughter felt so comfortable getting her nose re pierced and she absolutely just loved Dillon. So very gentle and acknowledged that these things do hurt sometimes but was as easy as easy could be without making her suffer through something and have no knowledge on how to take care of it. Im just beyond words at how amazing our experience was! Thank you Dillon

Zap at Dr. Ink is amazing! My husband and I both recently got tattoos from him. He walked us both through why a certain design/color would or would not work in a certain spot on our body and how we could make it work. I appreciated his honesty with me and his honesty made me comfortable and trust that he had my best interest at heart. My tattoos are all ocean/beach themed (nothing crazy) but he makes them look amazing and the colors POP! I will be moving to San Francisco soon and will make it a point to get any tattoos when I come for a vacation from Zap!

Sandy is AMAZING. I went to her last Sunday when part of my double helix closed because someone at a different shop in VA didn’t put the new jewelry in all the way when I had it changed (they also put the wrong size gauge in) She was super chill and down to earth and she made the taper as painless as possible. She also did my best friends nose and did a wonderful job on her as well with detailed care instructions. I’ll 100% be back for my next piercing!

Going to Jordan at Dr. Ink was an amazing experience. She is an incredibly talented artist who brought my vision to life in such a beautiful way. She also has a very gentle touch and is extremely thorough, paying excellent attention to detail. She was very warm and friendly as well. Last month I went with my friend to Dr Ink and it was a great experience! We got in the chair in about 20 minutes after our arrival with no appointment. We got zap as our artists and he did an amazing job, I gave him some artistic control over the piece I wanted and the tattoo ended up looking better than what I originally wanted. It was a great atmosphere & zap was just a really cool, very easy going. He also fixed a previous tattoo I had that was not the prettiest thing & made it look like a whole new tattoo & now love it. SCAM ALERT! I went to Dr. Piercing today to get a new earring because mine fell out. I’ve been going here for many many years and never had an issue until today. I was rung up at the register for the earring and told it would be a $10 fee for them to put it in for me, which was totally fine. They put my earring back in and I tipped cash. Now how come when I get to the car I look at my receipt and it says I tipped $50! I went back inside and was told they charged me $40 for the earring since it came from the back, so when I asked why that was on the tip line the response was “so we don’t charge tax on it”. I’m very angry and confused. Why was I rung up for an earring that cost $10 then charged with the credit card $13.34 (which could be a credit card fee) and then “tipped” $50. I’ve worked in the restaurant business long enough to know that the tip portion is going right into their pockets at the end of the day not the store. No telling how many tourists they do this to every single day!! Locals stay away! Way too many piercing shops in town to go to a shady one.

Marlena is the best! She was awesome and talked me and my sisters through everything! Super sweet and very professional. Gave great advice and the shop was very clean! I will definitely be going back to get my second rook done! She had great style and good ideas. She made it a very relaxing and enjoyable experience! 💜 Every staff member was great and very personable.

My daughter and I went to Dr Ink tonight for ear, nose, and cartilage piercings. The experience was great from my phone call to get information to a superior piercing experience an hour later. The staff is super friendly and the business is very clean and professional. Mary is a phenomenal piercer! I cannot say enough about how great she made our experience. We will definitely be back on our next beach trip.

This is the best place for piercings! I’ve gotten three piercings at this establishment and each experience has been great. Both Marlena and Mary are professional and knowledgeable on everything piercings. My mother (who has never gotten a piercing before) decided to get a piercing as well while visiting with me and she couldnt be happier. Highly recommend:)

Greg was a very nice guy, but two out of the four of us are a bit disappointed in the tattoos we received. 16 years tattooing and all he had to do was follow a stencil for some lettering and hearts. Mine especially is extremely shotty work. Just disappointed. If lettering wasn’t his forte then maybe we should’ve been referred to someone else in the office.

My husband and I got each others initials on our wrists on a whim and theyre healing great and the artist did an amazing job!

Firstly I’d like to thank Marlena vache-vereen for being so kind with helping me remove a naval piercing that was done dangerously at another shop and also comforting me as I was upset that I had JUST got this piercing 2 hours prior..This shop was so friendly and took care of me right away. I will be visiting myrtle beach soon after my naval heals to get a repierce from this shop! Thank you for the great hospitality. See y’all soon.

The people were friendly. I enjoyed it. BUT I wish prices were cheaper. Since when someone messes up a piercing or tattoo, what can compensate for the customer besides a free tattoo or piercing? No one wants to be crapped out 75-150 dollars for a messed up piercing or tattoo. A partial refund would be nice for most people who are spending their last on these things or dont get paid as much as most.

Sandy, Marlena, and Mary are phenomenal piercers. They are all super knowledgeable in what they do and will help you through the piercing process. I have a titanium allergy and they have specifically bought surgical steel jewelry to use on me, prioritizing my safety. Recently Sandy did a dermal on my sternum, which I almost passed out for (beauty is pain man), and she took such good care of me, never shaming me like previous piercers had when I went to other places. She even fed me my soda to make me feel better! They go above and beyond here to understand what you want, make you feel safe, and prioritize your safety over all else.

Came to get my daughter (5yr) ears pierced for her birthday. And wow. Words cannot describe how wonderful Sandy and the lady who checked us in were. She was patient, kind, encouraging, and my daughter instantly felt comfortable with her. She truly went above and beyond. We cannot thank you enough for making this such a great experience!

I got my nose pierced here with a friend and we both loved it! James took great care of us and made sure we were comfortable and okay with our piercings. Of all the tattoo/piercing parlors in Myrtle, I would suggest this one above all. Ive been to many in Myrtle and this one was the cleanest, friendliest and best priced. I got my bridge done and it was probably the quickest and most painless piercing Ive had done. Definitely leave a tip too. I wish I couldve left a bigger tip.

I came in without an appointment scheduled and within 20 minutes I was able to sit down and get a cute and simple tattoo done. My artist, Jeff, was incredibly nice and helpful. He did a fantastic job and I am very satisfied with my new tattoo!

Great place, first they got me in on short notice because I was leaving town and I really wanted to get it done before I left. The shop is very clean and everyone was very fast to get you anything you need while you wait. Very straight forward on what they can and cant do as far as detail versus size. They have artists that can do any style of tattoo you want. I received my permanent artwork by Jeff who did an amazing job with turning two ideas into one. The color turned out wonderful and healed very nice. He worked steady on a 5 hour sitting and seemed to know exactly when I needed a break without saying anything. I really felt like I got a work of art instead of a tattoo. Thanks to Jeff and everyone at the shop for putting a wonderful finish to my vacation.

Wonderful experience especially for getting stabbed with needles😂 I have gotten 5 piercings here on 3 different occasions and had my jewelry changed over the last 6 months, everytime I have been here I have felt so welcomed and in great hands. Zap did mine and my wife’s tattoos. Not only was he clean, friendly, and redid the stencil until he liked the placement/straight enough, he had a very light hand. It was a great experience. If we lived around here, we would definitely be back again for more!

I’ve gotten 5 tattoos at this tattoo shop and they’re amazing! The staff is so nice and always makes me laugh and feel welcome. I love coming here so much. Undoubtedly the best place to get tattooed on the beach. Ive got several tattoos from Amir, his work is flawless. He did a large cover up for me and I get compliments all the time. My friends have gotten tattooed by Jeff as well and his work is amazing, cant wait to get some work done from him. Overall the shop is very professional and everybody there makes you feel at home. I would definitely recommend Dr. Ink and have done so, Ive sent people from Charleston and they have left very happy. Dont miss out, you definitely get what you pay for here.

Ive gotten 3 of my tattoos done at Dr. Ink. Jeff Sanders is my artist. Hes super talented! Ive spent about 15 plus hours in the shop and all the guys there make you feel welcome. Lots of laughs and good tunes! Highly recommend this shop and Jeff to all!

My cousin and I went while on vacation. Like almost 2 hours before the close and the said the tattoo artist was packing up for the day so they were going to close early. That was our last day there so we couldnt go back at 11am the next day as they asked us to... sad.

Greg was my artist for me and my boyfriend and we couldn’t be more pleased. Greg was extremely helpful in making the design our own, he seemed really passionate about his trade and was always checking to make sure it was going well and we were comfortable. He did an amazing job with his lines and shadowing! We are very happy with both the tattoos and the experience in its entirety. Also, we immediately received numerous compliments within an hour of leaving the studio from everyone we came across! It was such a pleasure to meet Greg and we would go here again without hesitation. Thank you GREG!

All the employees were great here! I went in and forgot my ID the first time and I had to come in the next day, but the employees were super kind and understanding. They answered all my questions and were super clear about how to keep my piercings clean. The atmosphere was also very clean and relaxing. I appreciate how kind everyone was.

Jeff is amazing! He did my first and last tattoo. I have five total and I love every one of them. He makes good suggestions if you are unsure on what exactly you want. Never had to look for another artist. He is very nice and helpful and keeps your mind off the minimal pain that comes with the tattoo process. Def check him out!

Dr. Ink was my first choice when I went to get my first tattoo. This was in the Summer of 2013, and 2 1/2 years later, it is still the only tattoo shop I will go to. The shop has such a relaxed atmosphere, and everyone who works there is super chill. Jeff does amazing work. He has done all 6 of my tattoos, from a tiny quote on my inner arm, to a huge, colorful sugar skull on my thigh. After 2 years, my older tattoos look brand new. People always ask me where I get my tattoos done and who does them. I absolutely recommend this shop and Jeff (or any of the artists) to anybody who is wanting to get their next (or first) tattoo done. :) Also, I would recommend Dr. Piercing to those who are looking to get a new piercing! I have gotten my belly button, industrial, triple forward helix, nose, septum, and lip pierced there. James is awesome and even remembers me now from when I got my industrial pierced 3 years ago. I will definitely be back soon to get a new piercing! :)

My brother recommended this shop and when I went in asking for Zap he was instantly excited to work with me. I showed him a few inspiration pictures and trusted him with the colors. I am so happy with how it came out! He was encouraging, funny, and respectful of my ideas. If youre looking for watercolor, find Zap! Jeff did my mothers at the same time and was spot on with her ideas. This shop is very accommodating and friendly!

I swear Ill be back to Myrtle Beach in 2-3 months just so she can help me switch my stud to a ring. Everyone was super friendly, and the shop had a fun but chill vibe. I was a walk-in a few days ago. I’d just gotten a piercing and the piercer recommended I see Zap. I wanted a quote from my favorite book tattooed on my wrist. I learned that the space was too small, but was quickly helped by the tattoo artist, who showed me better placing for the tattoo and helped me hash out ideas. He quoted me a very reasonable price and offered small talk while working. He was only busy with the tattoo for maybe 10-15 minutes. He worked very quickly and paid awesome attention to detail. This place is awesome! I recommend Zap!

James did mine and my friends dermal piercing and I absolutely love it. He was very caring and concerned after procedure. He and his assistant completely explained post care after piercing. I love how he recommend the dermal. Best decision I made was getting the dermal instead of having my bottom of my belly button pierced. Its so much cuter with the dermal. I would recommend James to anyone who wants to get a piercing. He did everything the way it was supposed to be :)

I entered into Dr. Ink Tattoos with a rough sketch of a tattoo that I wanted to remember my Uncle by. I am not creative by any means, so the only words I could muster up was to make it beautiful. Some time passed when Jeff came out with his rendition and instantly my mom and I started crying. He captured what I was looking for and made the experience of getting a tattoo very enjoyable. I now have an incredible tattoo and look forward to going back to him for more tattoos the next time Im in the area. I highly recommend them for anyone considering getting a tattoo. The business was clean, and the staff was very friendly. Jeff even joked around with my family and I over various conversations, which made it that much more enjoyable. I called many local piercing businesses searching for a quality place to have my 8 year old daughters ears pierced for the first time. Many establishments were not interested or didnt care to discuss anything more than price.However, Dr. Piercing was not only willing to chat about options, but they also offered to do both ears at the same time. They were amazingly affordable. Less than half the price of the usual mall store business.My daughter took 7 years to finally be willing to get her ears done and panicked the first time they began the process. However they allowed us to take a short break and go outside and chat and she went back in there and acted like it was nothing.They were amazingly accommodating and never once made her feel pressured or uncomfortable. In fact she said that she wants to get her second ear piercing there as soon as she can!Moms and dads. This is the place to take your kids. 100% above and beyond service.

I took my son for his first tattoo yesterday at Dr. Ink based on feedback from a friend and seeing the tattoo artist work on a waiter from PF Chengs. Made the appointment while our son was away for training, they were very accommodating. Our appointment was with their artist, Greg. He was amazing. He took our sons tattoo choice and really put a spin on it that surpassed our sons dreams. Lettering can be difficult for some but he nailed that on mine. If you are in the area and need artwork, this is definitely a place to check out!

Place was so clean, staff was clear headed and so patient and helpful. I got my nose pierced and discovered that I am allergic to stainless steel so I went back about a month later to ask why piercing was being so stubborn and was given the h2ocean spray and told if I bought a different metal nose ring I could come back and they would sanatize and put it in for me free of charge. I did, but when I brought the one I bought Brandon suggested it may not be long enough to allow for swelling so he gave me a titanium one on the house. Definitely excellent customer service.

We got our tattoos done here last minute. We walked in and were first people. They were quick and super nice. We had a party of 6, 3 of which got tattoos but they treated everyone great!!!! Our tattoos all look awesome! A HUGE plus is how clean it is. Its not messy or cluttered!! Beautiful parlor

I went here about 6 months ago October 2020 and got my snake bites redone and my septum pierced my brother also got his nipples done. Those were done by Mary, then today I got my tounge pierced by Marlena. My sister in law got her snake bites done today also.. They were both AMAZING , very nice, professional, and just all around the best piercing experience I have ever seen. I will definitely be making the 12 hour drive for any piercings I want done from here on out.

My best friend and I randomly decided to go get piercings and we walked into Dr. Piercing. The place is very clean and the staff was welcoming. She got her cartilage done and I got my naval pierced. First went to piercing passion and was heavily disappointed so I walked down the way a bit until I got here and was pleasantly surprised! smelled instantly clean when I walked in and was greeted so pleasantly when I first walked in, I also had a bit of anxiety because of the previous place I walked into and I was given a soda and plenty of time to calm down and get ahold of myself before getting pierced. the piercing didn’t hurt bad at all (got my belly done) and is gorgeous!! absolutely will come again the next time i’m in town and want a piercing!!

My husband went to this parlor because of the awesome online reviews for Zap. He did not get his tattoo that day but has made an appointment to go back. I got one and I love it!!!. Zap is awesome. He takes his time to listen and see what you want and he helps to get to where you want it to be. He is a true artist.

We. Loved. James. And. Tommy! We had our daughter’s ears pierced here today. She’s turning two on Friday and this was her birthday gift. Instead of heading to the mall, we felt comfortable with this very sterile and very professional company. They used single use ear guns. The guns did not stick, they did not jam. The entire process was flawless. These guys were so kind. So funny. And so good at what they do! James talked to our girl and made her feel comfortable. He explained everything he was doing like she was 22, not 2. She loves her new earrings and keeps showing them off. We are so happy with our experience. Thanks guys!

Very good Piercing parlor. I came from Latta SC to go there because of the reviews. I had two different females pierce my ears on the two different occasions. I got two daith piercings and two flats. It was an easy process and I actually felt safe getting it done there.The parlor was very clean, no wait time and they were friendly. Definitely a great place to stop by if you are in the Myrtle Beach area.

If youre looking for the best place to get a tattoo, this is it! I have been coming here since November to work on a back piece (they were highly recommended by a friend). Dr. Ink is clean, professional, the guys there do absolutely AMAZING work and they all have great personalities making you feel welcome. Amir,who is an absolute genius, drew up a custom bird for me and I get compliments on it no matter where I am. The color is so bright! On a very short notice she was able to sanitize the very particular jewelry I needed (I’m allergic to most metals) and pierce my daith. Absolutely no pain, it was all over before I knew it! Very knowledgeable great staff. I FELT LIKE I WAS AT HOME, the smell of lemon pledge made me feel safe from Clovid 19. Staff kept both sides clean I wouldn’t question a darn thing about this place. The atmosphere was wonderful fitting music made me so excited to get service. I love the fact the staff took time to discuss what works best for the customer and not just the needs of the business. James was a fantastic piercer! Made me feel at ease and distracted me from scaring myself out of doing it the longer I deliberated. Didnt hurt at all with numbing cream applied! I went here in a pinch at closing time because my nipple ring broke (hoop) and got stuck in my nipple and needed to be removed asap. I forget the name of the young lady who helped me , I think I heard someone say Marlana ? Anyways , this gorgeous wonderful wonderful human was able to remove it without hurting me and everything was clean and immaculate. Once my piercing heals and needs to be retapered I will be coming back !!

I went with my friend looking to get piercings while on Vacation! Decided to come here and Marleena was amazing! Quick and not heavy with her hands. I got the surface tragus done and the pain from 1-10 it was a 1. I recommend to get your jewelry done by her.

Dr ink is the best place to go for tattoos and piercings. Everyone is so nice, the shop is extremely clean and they have the best prices in town! They take out the needles/tools they are using in front of you that way you know they are sterilized. If you have an idea on what you want for a tattoo, they will work with you. Ive been to all the other shops on Seaboard St. and this shop is definitely the cleanest plus the guys at the other shops arent as friendly. Ive never been more comfortable at a tattoo shop than I have here.

BE WEARY OF THIS PLACE, I had a weird experience. They assured me touchups are free. (THEY ARE NOT FREE, DO NOT TRUST THEM) When I went to get my touch up from when the artist left out 4 numbers (very minor, and I was only kinda disappointed) they told me the artist quit just three weeks prior and that it would cost me almost the same price as it was originally just to get the touch up at the shop.This means my tattoo would almost DOUBLE IN PRICE just to have it “fixed.”They gave me the old artist’s old business card and said I could look him up on the internet. After digging, he assured me he doesn’t tattoo anymore.Isn’t this why half the pay is given to the shop? It just gave me really scammy or shady vibes.I would not recommend due to this. There are plenty of other tattoo artist at shops that do free touch ups, especially when it’s because the artist left out crucial details from the tattoo.To further clarify, the artist excluded 4 numbers from the design, obviously by mistake or so, and I’m not asking for any changes or additional to the correction.

Ive been following these artists and their work online for several years. Ive seen much of it in person. I love that they frequently have guest artists. The only times Ive ever heard negative comments by people I ran into were because they were drunk and/or in a hurry when they got there. Tattoos are no joke. This is real and permanent, so be prepared and go in there with a positive attitude. Its just good manners, people. No legitimate artist wants their name associated with poor quality work. They know youll be showing off that fine new piece!

My Mom, sister and I went to Dr. Ink Tattoos while on vacation in North Myrtle Beach. It was worth the drive south, no doubt. We booked an appointment with Amir (he is a talented artist, and is highly sought out - we were fortunate to have him because we were told he is usually booked a month out) and had a fantastic experience. Amir had a great personality and made sure we each were satisfied with the sizing/placement. We all got small tattoos and were done in about an hour. The detail was on point. Aside from that, Amir played great music, the parlor was clean and the rest of the staff was cordial. If three girls from Wisconsin could feel welcomed and comfortable there, Im sure anyone could. Would recommend 10/10.

Sandy is so sweet, I came to dr piercing looking for a belly button ring that I had previously bought there a while back, I showed it so her but they didn’t seem to have any in the store so she not only took the time to look in boxes in the back but she kept looking as I went to search in different piercing shops in the plaza & actually came trying to find me before I left & showed me one that not only was similar but it was almost just like it but even cuter than the one I had! she did not have to do that! most people nowadays would’ve just said they didn’t have it & went back to sitting on their phones in the back but she kept looking for me even after I left & I just think that was really sweet & great customer service! thanks girl!🥰

Went in with some friends to get a small tattoo and saw Josh. His line work and attention to detail is on point. I am Super pleased with his work; however, his customer service skills were subpar. He got upset as we were trying to take photos of the experience and the gentleman at the desk was very abrasive towards the others with us. They also refused to do small writing tattoos.

A friend and I went on vacation to Myrtle Beach and decided we wanted to get a tattoo while there. Zap was awesome! He realized we couldnt agree on what type of koi fish we wanted but knew the style and took the time to draw it up for us. He is super talented and has a light touch because I was totally relaxed the whole time. Ironically enough, the friend and I had major falling out before the trip was over but I still have an awesome tattoo 😎 .. maybe I will come back to add a spear thru the fish lmao! From Va on vacation. Not really any good places for tattoos in my area that arent outrageous on their prices. Searched Google for tattoo places in Myrtle. Received nose ring from Dr Ink piercing, the nose ring fell out the next morning when I was washing my face. Employees would not replace the nose ring, I went next door to a different store and got a replacement nosecring that is better secured and WILL NOT FALL OUT!

Went in and got my Tragus (ear) pierced last night. This is an excellent place to go get Piercing and I had a great experience. It is very clean and the people who work there are awesome! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone!!

Chuck did my tattoo and rather than doing a straight line, he added calligraphy to my tattoo, which made it look excellent. He also fixed a tattoo I had gotten previously for no additional charge. They were all so nice and the place was very clean.

Went to this place because it had great reviews and you hear there commercials on the radio. At first I was happy with the tattooing process speaking from experience as I have have gotten several over the last few years from shops all over the country. This positive experience quickly became a negative one as the artist expressed that the shading wasnt going fast enough. He switch to a bigger needle and immediately started going heavy handed and rough. As I was leaving the shop I noticed that my tattoo was crooked. I then proceeded to leak fluid and bleed over the next several days to a week. As it has now been about 2 months I can positively say there is definite scarring over the shaded tatto area. I would STRONGLY consider going elsewhere .

I highly recommend them! After my first tattoo (elsewhere) was a less than impressive experience, I was extremely skeptical to return anywhere at all for a 2nd. After the bitterness eventually wore off, I made an appointment with Amir at Dr. Ink. I recently go my nose pierced at Pitbull Piercing and he did a horrible job! My piercing was sinking in and it was done incorrectly. I went to Dr. Ink and he fixed it for me and was very kind to me. They guy from Pitbull told me he was staying open until 10 and to come down and he would fix it for me. He just looked at it and said it was fine and he was leaving when I got there at 9:30. Didnt care at all. I recommend going to Dr. Ink for all your needs. Its nice, clean, and theyre good people. Steer clear of Pitbull Piercing.

Have had a great experience so far with Amir! Just went for the second time to add onto a skull tattoo that he had previously done. The skull was my first major tattoo and it turned out better and more beautiful than I couldve imaged. He was laid back but professional..this is a very clean place with great staff. Jeff S was absolutely wonderful! He did my first and only leopard tattoo... helped me find a good spot for it and it looks wonderful I get compliments all the time... Will definitely go back for my next!! Everyone I know I suggest this place to!

Was on vacation in myrtle beach and decided to get a tattoo. They were very nice and the studio was very clean. The prices were very reasonable. If I didnt live so far away I would go there for all my tattoos! Would defiantly recommend!

I told him what I wanted covered and showed him the piece I was thinking about getting and with his input & expertise, a masterpiece was created! I am beyond thrilled with how it came out! I love this shop. Josh my tattoo artist was awesome and professional. James my piercer was skilled, saucy and cute. Good prices couple with fast service. I dont regret the trip from DC just for this shop.

Idk if Jason is still there, but if he is STEER CLEAR from this clown. Hell reschedule appointments continually, even when youre coming from you out of town. He also doesnt listen to what you want and does his own thing and overworks the skin to the point the skin is chewed up. I dont even tattoo and I could probably do better than him. He will ensure you will never go back to him. Ive seen much of his work and the consensus is consistently the same.Also the guy with the name that starts with A (cant remember his name) is too fast and misses details.The place has a very non professional feel and I would recommend one of the other shops in the area. Theyre expensive for what they do. I also suspect many of these reviews on here are either fake or people that have no idea what a good tattoo is.

Great group of artist. Amir is fantastic.We came in on short notice, said we wanted a slot for friday. Easy day, came in friday to great staff. We had scheduled with one artist who said he wasnt 100% comfortable with the design for my wife and my tattoo. Awesome. Nothing better than a humble artist, nothing worse than a cocky one. So Amir (the owner ) gave it a look and knocked them right out for us. Super clean. Very private if thats your thing. Im sold, will be coming back here once i move for some big pieces. Awesome staff.Amir does some amazing work.

Zap is a very talented artist. He did great work on my sleeve tattoo.

I really enjoyed getting tattooed here. Ive heard really mixed things about Dr. Ink but after going in there and talking to Jeff and having him tattoo me I was pretty damn pleased. He had a really light hand and made my tattoo pretty painless and amazing. 10/10 would go back and get more work by him. :)

We went in and guy wasnt helpful at all. He acted like it bothered him us even coming in. He could have been nicer and atleast help me make a decision on what I wanted.

Hey. i got my nose pierced a few weeks ago up there and the other day i noticed a tiny bump, it’s hardly noticeable to other people but I’m nervous it’s going to get worse or not go away. I have been cleaning it 2-4 times a day with the spray can as instructed. any tips on how to get it to go away??

Dr. Ink Tattoos is awesome!! The shop is very clean and organized... I had my 1st tattoo 2 years ago and had done at Dr. Ink, I was very scared with it being my 1st one but Amir Marziparo eased all my fears and he done exactly what I wanted. All of the staff were very friendly and courteuos and professional. If you are ever in the area please choose Dr. Ink Tattoos you will not be sorry! Hoping to have another done this year by Amir and I cant wait, I will only choose this shop!!! I liked the fact that they open all the materials in front of you so you can see that everything is sterile. The shop is extremely clean and they take great pride in that!
