Glass St Tattoo

I just got a tattoo done by Ron. Towards the end I wanted one thing but I asked his professional opinion and I’m really happy that I did. The first photo is where I originally wanted the tattoo to end but he added more shading and it really polished it up and pulled it all together. The second photo is it finishedI’m editing to add, I have over 30 tattoos and have been getting them for almost 20 years. Some of these reviews make me laugh. I think some people have either never been in a tattoo shop before and don’t understand that sometimes they can be very relaxed and many artist take their art seriously. There is a newer tread of people googling a tattoo and expecting to get that exact thing done on them, but a real artist will want to draw out their own art and not just trace someone else work. Even my first tattoo was one I picked from the wall and the artist still drew it out and made changes to the piece to make it original.

Went to get a tattoo for the first time here! Got randomly connected with Lily. She worked quickly and cleanly. She was helpful and transparent about the best ways dor the tattoo to line out on my forearms. Would recommend Lily again!

David is the best artist in the area. The shop is well laid out and very clean. I’ve now had 3 large pieces done here and each time David has done a fantastic job turning my idea into art and making my experience comfortable.

Service was fast and great, you just have to get their attention. I’ve been planning on getting this project done since this summer but was hesitant to find artists and see if they do the kind of art I want on my body, plus the reviews about the service. This is my second tattoo with a different artist (insta: bussolaro.tattoo) at this location. It’s beautifully done, looks like the reference he showed before my appointment, got something incorporated with my butterfly tattoo. Would come here again and get my whole sleeve done in the future!

I have been here 3 times and all of them were really good experiences! My recent tattoo artist Aidyn did a really great job on my 3/$80 tattoos and took his time to make it perfect.

Extremely disappointed in this shop. Deposited $150 & met with the artist on Feb 10th. Only to get told 3 days later that the shop is “under new management & ownership” and the artist is no longer working there. I asked if the $150 would be granted towards another artist to which they responded “no because it’s in another system & I would need to pay another $150”. Sounds like bullshiz & nothing but a damn scam. Should’ve listened to the reviews for this place - seems this has happened on numerous occasions. It’s truly unfortunate & the “new ownership” clearly does not know a thing about business management & pleasing its customers.

I hadthe worst experience and it soon my almost 6 months to get my money back ... I called over 20 times spoke to them multiple times and the manager for a refund and they kept blowing me off . The artist I was gonna go to was duke of tatts great artist I blame this on mostly management they failed to let me know that my tattoo artist was gonna not be there last minute cancellation!!! And went there for nothing it took about 6 months to get reimbursement... Horrible experience and Im tatted the F up ...

What a disappointment. I showed up with my design (chaos star) with Ron. When I showed it to him he said he would change it with his own interpretation. When I explained I wanted it exactly as it was, he refused. I tried to explain it’s a relatively common design and other people have this particular design but he refused on the basis of “it’s ripping off another persons design”. Guess this guy has never heard of flash tattoos. If I wanted the Star of David would he put his “interpretation” on that as well since others have it? As someone who has over 3 dozen tattoos, I’ve never run into an artist like this one. Insanity. I’d never step foot in that shop again and since my call to his boss to get my deposit refunded was never returned I’m doing it through my bank. The fact that he had a ton of open time slots should have been a huge red flag. All the good artists I know are booked up for months. Stay away from that guy unless you like people picking what goes on your body for you. Smh.

My original artist had to cancel which was a completely understandable thing since he had a new baby so we let the apprentice do our flash sale tattoos. She was a great person friendly and light handed which we found out three days later was not good! Luckily I work right next to a tattoo shop and they were willing to fix the tattoos I got as they were already fading due to not being done deep enough. Hey learning experience for myself and the apprentice. Life happens. Just double check before leaving.

Initially this was a 5 star review. I love the first tattoo I got heres even though when I came to my first consultation I was waiting over an hour from the time I was scheduled. No big deal, things happen. I get the tattoo done and days later I get a call saying they have no record of me paying for it even though I paid cash and was questioned how much money I gave. Okay, things happen, no big deal. I decided since I liked the tattoo I got so much that Id go back and get another. I personally messaged the artist, or so I thought I was talking to the artist, made an appointment took the day off work and drove up there to find the shop was closed. Guess there was a misunderstanding, but nothing could be done for me. Not going to lie I was very frustrated. I talk to another artist and told her my situation. She assured me she could do the tattoo for me and made an appointment with me and promised me she would be there. I put 150 down and I was literally in the system. I got multiple texts, email confirmations, even a phone call confirming my appointment. I get there and I was told she was running late. A while goes by and eventually Im told she thought my appointment was at 1pm when it was scheduled for 11. So I waited over an hour for her to get there. She was very nice and apologetic, I tried to be polite and understanding even though I was very frustrated. She thanked me for my patience and offered to take 150 off for the inconvenience. I didnt think anything of it. I got my bill for the month and the only charges were from glass street tattoo, Nashua, and my bill was pretty much 500 dollars. Plus I gave the artist an extra 40 or 50 dollars in cash. They never took the 150 off for me, if anything, I was overcharged. Im very frustrated.The artists that Ive been to here are very talented. However, Im really discouraged and disappointed with my experiences here. Its been one thing after another and I cant afford to pay for other peoples mistakes like that. Not only that, the most recent tattoo I got, the artist never posted it on social media even though she made a point to take a picture of it, I guess she wasnt proud of it. Im not one to post negative reviews or any reviews at all, really. But this situation is just completely frustrating.

Kevin did my tattoo and for my first time it was an awesome experience. Did the 3 for $80 and love them. He talked to me to help me stay calm and it definitely helped. Will definitely go here again

One of the most absolute worst tattoo shops around. Highly suggest not to go here and definitely do not put down a deposit. They just recently added to the website “ all deposits final or whatever” but prior it wasn’t there. Bad business and not upfront honest pricing. They will try and tell you it is one price and leave a deposit etc well it’s typically double or triple the deposit. Typically they will ask for $150 never do this unless you have a disposable income 😂. Some of the artists are pretty good but definitely a sketchy owner / place. If i could save anyone money or from being scammed it’s definitely worth it. My friend got a simple tattoo and previously left a $150 deposit they charged about another 120 plus for the final outcome. It was nothing handed barely any design or detail just a few lines and paw print simple but totally not worth that price lol. I get mall rents are high but you should probably take better care of your customers especially people who were planning on returning simply bec ONE artist was good. Even giving ya one star ⭐️ is too many :(. Buy or beware probably safer with a alley way tattoo…. 🤣 definitely should contact the board of cosmetology or health make sure everything is up to its expectations I’d be shocked

Booked and paid for a consultation on 8/28, appointment date was 9/2. An hour before my scheduled mandatory appointment, the shop called me saying, yeah dont come in because the artist you booked with is no longer with us. When I asked for a refund, I was told on the phone I would just get the refund to my card. The artist who no longer worked there sent me a msg on IG saying that Mia would help me. That was 9/2. Between that date and today, 9/11, Ive been given the runaround, calling and leaving my name and number for someone to get back to me. After calling both locations, and getting nowhere, I went to the Nashua shop today and was told the ONLY person who can issue a refund is in Mexico. Ms Mia then called me as I was leaving the Nashua store, and very condescendingly began to explain how she never heard anything about me trying to get my money back, but then at the same time said, well, it takes most businesses 7-14 business days to issue a refund. In what country? Then she tried to sell me to the artist that was fired in another location with an entirely different company in Londonderry! Im guessing its not coincidence that she and the fired artist were in Florida last week together. Are they in the practice of taking deposits and then taking vacations with stolen money? I have filed a police report and will continue to pursue this legally until I see my refund. If you dont want to get hosed by these crooks, stay the F away.

(This place was amazing. 3 other friends and I went here and had Bobby Megens. He was amazing. Had amazing pricing. And stayed until past 12am to tattoo all of us. Guy was amazing and I recommend going.) EDIT do not recommend going here. Shortly after I got this tattoo a friend and I messaged Bobby about a sleeve have him a $50 deposit for a appointment and for him to draw a sleeve. I have heard nothing from Bobby in over a month. He basically took the deposit and left.

I went for a flash sale 3/$80.00 and I ended up being there 3 hours and left crying due to how my tattoos looked. The simplest designs with no comparison to the picture, botched lines and while being worked on the artist lily used 3 different needles before another artist told her she wasn’t even using the correct one for outlining and proceeded to let another artist finish my tattoo. I reached out several times and the boss said he’d discuss getting them touched up but to be fair I don’t want my skin touched again and that is a service they already provide. I still have no respond in asking for a refund.

Awesome artists! I’ve had tattoos done by Jake, Jamie and David. Very happy with their work. One of the unique characteristics of this shop is the variety of styles they offer and the artistic capability of the artists to transform “abstract” ideas into tangible pieces of artwork. I especially liked the fact that I could trust the artists to include their own unique portfolio styles and creations into the design I asked for.

I found David on IG and booked an appointment for a cover up. He did an amazing job, another artist told me I would need a dark large animal to cover it up and David did a detailed nature piece that I am completely obsessed with. I had an initial consult where he helped bring the peice to life. Everyone at the shop is super friendly. I read some negative reviews about customer service but did not have that experience at all. I also dont think its odd to ask for a deposit considering the talent their team has and how far they book out. It makes sense to ensure you have solid clients coming in. Its also a tattoo shop, not a dentist office. Would recommend 10/10.

Came here specifically to get a realism piece by the shop owner David. He blew away all my expectations and did the prettiest tattoo Ive seen. I love it!If youre looking to get something done by him you will have to wait. Hes booked far out in advance. Totally worth it though.The atmosphere and just the overall friendliness of the shop is a huge bonus too, and they have other great tattooers as well if you rather not wait!Overall loved the experience and will gladly be going again!

Just wanted to give an honest review and say that not did David go above and beyond to ensure that I got the tattoo I wanted but asko did his professional twist on it. Really made me love me tattoo and when scheduling the second session to finish it was suoer understanding and booked a reasonable time to finish the tattoo. Overall, very professional and one of the best artists in the wholr area. His work speaks for itself and just know if you wrent getting tatted by him go and book an appointment with him right now

What can I say.. this place was great. My daughter and I went skydiving earlier in the day and wanted to commemorate the experience with matching tattoos. Ben Hanney was our artist. He was professional and has very clean line work. I would definitely go back . This time for something a little bigger.Michael L.

I wanted to enquirer about two cover ups. The shop was clean. I spoke with a tattoo artist that gave me the details of the deposit, the meeting to go over ideas, how far out he was booking, etc… hopefully I can get in after the holidays! Seems like a talented bunch and a fun shop! UPDATE: since my review I got my larger coverup done by Duke. It came out so amazing I trusted him with my daughter’s first tattoo when she turned 18 last month she loved it so much she’s already planning her next one!

Havent had a tattoo in 25 years and went all in on a half sleeve... 10 hours in the chair with David Chea (a.k.a. Stabby Daddy) and he and his staff couldnt have made it any easier. He worked diligently with only a few breaks for lunch and to stretch. Lots of witty banter between he and the staff along with a lot stories which made the time fly. The work is amazing and explains why he is booked out years in advance. I felt fortunate to get in and have David perform his art. Highly recommend.

Great work and very talented but professionalism and caring for customer is not there.I was rescheduled multiple times because of overbooking or whatever excuse they could come up with.Front desk/receptionist is rude and unwilling to work with customers and condescending.My tattoo was 2 sessions- 1.5 hrs eachthat started in November….. we’re now in May and they’re trying to reschedule me for another 2 months out, again. Really disappointed and sad about this but my I no longer have patience to work with them especially when I’m treated rudely.Again fantastic work but customer care side is not there.

I had a similar experience that others have had that where on the bad side with this shop. I am working with the owner to make things right.So far the design work looks great and its only halfway down. They should tell people that the deposit is nonrefundable upfront. This is the first tattoo shop that I have had to put a deposit down at and im going to guess its the something to do with being in a mall also a 1st for me.So if are looking to interview artists for new work think about this one hard and long. You need a 150 down just to talk to someone and see their ideas on what you want to down.I will up date this post as the work gets done. I hope to leave a 5 star review when my work is down.

The shop I usually go to is booked out so I thought I would try Glass Street. I called for a smaller tattoo and was told their min was $60. I was going to the mall anyways and decide to check them out and if happy book my sleeve. I have heard allot of bad things and my guard was up but I always keep an open mind. The old bate and switch! A stupid little outline was now up to $150. The place was not clean and one of the artist was screaming. I met up with some friends after my experience & saw one of the tattoos done by creepy chi and so glad I left. Save your money there are to many better shops within a mile...About Time or Art of Creation. If your closer to the inner City, Precision, Mayhem Ink, & even Twist. Dont waist your time with a Mall Tattoo Shop!

Some of the artists are good but most are just mediocre at most. also simply just one of the most unprofessional places i have been to, the staff just screws around , they never answer the phone, if you’re in line waiting they won’t call you , you’d be standing at the front desk forever until someone assists you. i would literally go anywhere else.

Bobby Megens is an exceptional artist… He created such an amazing piece of Jappenese art on my 3/4 sleeve… Very clean, and sterile… opens everything BRAND NEW right in front of you. Had a really amazing experience sitting there during many sessions, talking and building a relationship with him. And to this day, we are still best of friends… Over all I HIGHLY recommend Bobby Megens 10 outta 10 or 5 outta 5 stars….. Thanks you again for an amazing piece that I still get compliments on

The artist did very good work. However the place smelled like weed. To the point if you breathed wrong you would cough. They also said they could get everything we wanted done that day. It took two days. The staff made VERY inappropriate comments around the customers.

Tattoo artist didn’t even show up and his assistant texted at time of service so sorry but he’ll be late. No further response after I tried several times so I warn everyone listen when other tattoo artists tell you not to go here. I proved this place right that they are unprofessional, have no idea how to run a business and probably avoided a terrible tattoo. don’t provide this business any of your time or skin.

I had made an appointment in AUGUST and put a $50 down payment. the person who scheduled the appointment later called to tell me he double booked the artist. When i tried to call back to reschedule they never answered. i went to college and asked for my money back. since i payed for a service that i never received due to an error on the companies side. for the past FOUR months i have been calling and texting the manager. he is super unprofessional and will ghost me. he is not responsible enough to call me back to sort this issue. next attempt will be the police since this is now theft. hopefully this place gets shut down. he even left me on read the past couple of messages. wouldn’t recommend.

I couldnt help but leave a review, the new place is absolutely ridiculous! The employees are killer, great to see some familiar faces. I ALWAYS have an amazing experience when Im there. Right when you walk in you get greated and you instantly feel like your right at home. Davids work is absolutely outstanding and deserves all of lifes most amazing gifts 😊

Jake Hansen was awesome, he has great artwork to choose from and did a custom piece for my daughters first tatoo on her birthday. I can not express how pleased we are with Jakes work and strongly recommend asking for him in particular.

I honestly had no issues. Duke did my tat and he did a pretty good job, however, I did find their deposit policy odd. And the artists not working at the time could use some pointers on professionalism

I’ve gotten 7 tattoos done here and each one has been a great experience, all of the artists are super friendly and talented, the shop is clean and it’s overall a great place to get tattooed. I’ve never had any issues here, I will always recommend this place to people, can’t wait to go back for more !!

Amazing artists! Matt did my first realism style tattoo and I love my little ghosty boi! its also the first set of flower tattoos Ive gotten and I love the colors they still pop even after 3 weeks!!

Incredible artists all of them were very friendly and talented I got 3 smallish tattoos done and Im very happy with them definitely recommend you get your tattoo here especially if you are a vet because this shop is owned by a Marine vet

Shady and unprofessional business ! I Cancelled an appointment 3 months in advance, the date was then rebooked, but they still kept my $250 deposit towards the tattoo which I was told would be 100% refundable if I needed to cancel at any time. Can’t even get a straight answer out of these people or a returned phone call 👎

Ive been tattooed by over a dozen different artist. Hands down Bobby at glass st Kills them all. The man is an alien his talent is not human and his prices are worth the lifetime of good ink
