I booked the same day (albeit at 12am) for Hannah because I saw their work on the page and I loved it! Absolutely amazing. I was able to come in with my two friends, and they sat with me through the process. Hannah and I had wonderful conversation throughout the whole procedure, and they were super helpful with the placement! I had to keep readjusting, but Hannah told me to do is as many times as I want, and that it is no problem what so ever. They made me feel so at home, and the tattoo came out SOOOO clean. They did the color first then the lining, which is genius!! It came out amazing, and the healing process is going just as planned. Cant wait to show off this bad boy. They also touched up two of old tats which were wonky for me for a low price, which was so considerate. They both look so much better! Thank you Hannah, Ill be coming back for another piece in the future!!

Got my tattoo done almost two years ago now and King did an amazing job. Loved it so much and the service was so great, I brought my daughter to get her industrial piercing done by one of the girls there who did a fantastic job. Her ear healed wonderfully. Im taking my daughter back to get her nose ring pierced here. I highly recommend this place to anyone whos wanting to get their tattoos and/or piercings done definitely come to this place I guarantee you wont regret the experience and service. Very clean, very professional.

I went in less than a week ago to get four piercings, two additional lobe piercings on each ear. Below details my experience.1. The person who pierced my ears never introduced himself. I have no idea what his name is.2. He took less than two minutes to do the marks on both ears, marking one ear with much larger circles than the other ear. I noticed that they didnt look even and asked the guy if he was sure they were. He told me they were even; the circles were just bigger on one side. The second piercings were not even (see below). The difference is not very large, but its quite noticeable to me and even made cleaning the piercings on my left side difficult. I realized I shouldve asked him to redo the circles, but the larger circle did cover where the correct place was.3. He gave no warning when doing any of the piercings. Not even an, Okay, Im going to start now, for the first one. He also didnt ask if I was doing okay at any point in time.4. He dropped one of the backs for the earrings. He picked it up from the floor with gloves on and only sanitized the earring back. He didnt change or sanitize the gloves. I shouldve said something, but I also dont think I should have to.5. No aftercare instructions were given. Maybe it was because I already had piercings, but I wasnt given anything verbally or in written form. He showed me my new piercings in a mirror. When I asked if I was done, he affirmed, and that was that.6. This is likely to vary shop by shop, but below youll see the earring I was given from my very first piercings (silver) and this most recent one (gold). There is a lot more space to allow for swelling of the lobe on the silver one compared to the gold one.7. I made an appointment via the website, and there was no follow up regarding the appointment even though I wasnt given an option to indicate what I wanted done or who I wanted to schedule with. I see a lot of the reviews around piercings talk about someone named Hannah. I dont think she was there nor the owner, who, according to the website, specializes in piercings.The positives are that the piercings themselves were not expensive, and the first set of piercings look pretty even. However, for my experience, there was an extreme lack of customer service on top of one of the piercings not being done well. I have already taken the piercing out and will be getting it re-pierced somewhere else once its healed.

Called in on august 11 2023 to get me and my sons ears pierced. First off (king) The Owner is mad cool and gave us the best price. The women that pierced our ears was very professional and informative, But most of all made us feel comfortable. Definitely recommend This Shop!

Went in with two friends. We all got piercings, I got both eyebrows done. King did a fantastic job and was so kind. It was a quick and expertly done experience!

This is a long overdue review. I found this shop when I moved back to NY 2 years ago and have been my go to ever since. I bring my friends here as well to get piercings. Since I’ve been back they have done 5 of my piercings and I brought 4 - 6 different people here. The staff is very friendly, acknowledgeable on their skills. This is family oriented business. King cares about his staff. I have seen him teaching his staff on slower days to better their skills, and I have also seen a packed shop on Kings day off. I even come here to change out my jewelry because I can never unscrew them myself. Everyone here is amazing. I trust anyone to here to do my piercings. 🫶🏾The shop is all the way in the back of what looks like a sneaker store(next to the museum under construction), pass the wall of oils.

All I’m going to say is….King absolutely killed it. I came here two weekends in a row, and felt at home and at ease both times. King and the other artists do amazing work, and are sooooo accommodating with their prices! Not only that, they’re all super friendly and go above and beyond to create a comfortable and friendly environment while you’re in the shop. This will officially be my regular spot, like I have absolutely no interest in going anywhere else.

This place is amazing I have been getting tattoos by King for over ten years. They are my other family. Great vibes & great work. Best work in NYC.

I travel from queens to come here. Ive been coming here for all my tattoos ever since i’ve discovered them. not only for their good prices but also amazing artwork. i always go for cheeze but all the artists are talented. it is a small shop though but they are really amazing and comforting.

King is the man! Created a stencil from my design on the spot and did the tattoo super quickly and precisely. I am very happy with the result. My tattoo came out super clean and is healing raally well. I love my tattoo❣️Good job king 👍

Check this place out if you’re in the Harlem area! This totally a hole in the wall shop. It was located in the back of another store, we almost missed it. We just happen to stumble across this place being it was the closet to us. My boyfriend and I came within an hour of closing, asked if they were taking walk-ins for piercings still. King (shop owner) was so kind and more than willing to help us out. My boyfriend got his double nostril and I got an eyebrow piercing. This place is legit, king knows what he’s doing (said he’s been doing this for 30 years). He gave us a great price since we got 3 in total and hooked us up with aftercare products. Would totally recommend and would come back!

Just got my nose pierced here, was a little scared about the placing, but it turned out to be symmetrical and perfect on both sides of my nose after swelling went down. very informative, quick and easy and so sweet, very good pricing too, definitely coming here again!

Really great service overall. The piercing/tattoo studio is hygienic, well lit, and the artists are very informative and helpful. My piercing was also very reasonably priced, especially considering it was an inner ear one. Would highly recommend!!

My daughter had gotten a nose piercing elsewhere and it came out in her sleep after only 7 days. We went to Hannah for an emergency re-piercing and she was fantastic! Everything was immaculately clean, and she was very delicate with my daughters inflamed piercing. Gave us some good recommendations for keeping it clean and getting the swelling down. Im coming back for a tattoo! Love this place.

Ive found my artist. Hannah is the bomb. And the rest of them there are highly talented. Its super convenient to my office, on W 125th Street. King runs a tight studio too.

The owner and staff are very welcoming and informative!! I was a little skeptical about getting my piercing, especially because of its placement. My piercer took their time with me, made me feel comfortable, and made sure I was satisfied with its placement, which took me about 45 mins, before moving forward. Overall I had a wonderful experience and will be returning for a tattoo

My girlfriend needed to urgently get a piercing removed early in the morning I called king he answered my call despite the shop not being open yet and let me know he could easily fix the problem. King was just as kind and professional as he was over the phone and gently removed the earring from her cartilage with ease, before he applied numbing spray and after he applied healing ointment. 10/10 service would recommend again.

I arrived in NYC with a piercing emergency --- Id accidentally pulled out my 2wk-old nose piercing. I left the post in and flew across the country with a bandaid on my nose and the back in my purse. Even worse, I had an appearance the evening in town. I found King Tattoos from the good reviews on Google. King was AMAZING. When I explained what happened, he took me in right away, got everything set up and sterile, re-inserted the nose ring back and attached the post. He also explained everything beforehand, and told me when it would hurt (the piercing had already started to close). Then he explained after care when he was done (and even gifted me some cleaning solution because Id left mine in Cali). He was super-professional, wore a mask and moved like a surgeon. Also, he charged me a nominal fee! 🙌🏾 When I tell you King saved the day, I mean he SAVED THE DAY.I was not about to get in front of an audience with a bandaid on my face! 😭 BONUS: the shop has a very cool metal vibe....dope music: when I walked in Crazy Train was playing 🤘🏾🤘🏾🤘🏾

I was referred to this place by a coworker. All I can say is professional from start to finish. I was skeptical at first whether to get four ear piercings in one sitting but after how painless the first two cartilage piercings were I went ahead and got another two. King and his staff are super friendly and informative. I left the place highly satisfied with the exceptional service.

Went to get my first piercing and the Owner was welcoming, very informative with the procedure and care. He was highly recommended and lived up to my expectations. I would like to start off by saying that King Tattoos shop is so professional. King and his staff take pride in their shop meaning the shop is clean and very inviting. King is very attentive and he understands that his artwork is his calling card so he wants his work to be the best.After being told by another shop that my tattoo was too complex to have done (tattoo of a Scorpion), King proved them wrong by giving me the exact tattoo that I requested. And his pricing is very reasonable.So if you are looking for great artwork along with superb customer service, King Tattoo is the place to be.

Most professional man Ive ever met in my life, the quality of his tattoos are the best Ive ever seen in the city. He has a strong worth ethic a strong 2018 attitude and very positive. He tattooed me back in and they still look brand new to this day. I recommend this man maybe one day Id like to get another tattoo from this gentleman

Went for my 3rd nose piercing based on good reviews and ended up getting two piercings . This is the first time my nose did not bleed . They did great ! Will be back for more and tat services .

They were very kind and accommodating. Hard to find but the shop is in the back of the jewelry store on to the right of the posted building address.They dont accept cards. You can use an app..

I arrived in the city last year. Looking for a tattoo artist . I met Dennis king and the respect he gives is awesome. He has done 5 tattoos on me and he free handed it also . Very respectful and reasonable . Id recommend him very honest man

I havent even visited yet, and I already like this place. I called twice, and both times I not only got a human voice on the line, but the person I spoke to was friendly, and informative. These days, when you call almost any type of business, it can sometimes feel like they want to get you off the phone as quickly as possible. I didnt get that vibe here at all. Looking forward to giving them some business.

I went to get my upper lobe piercing on both ears and my tragus on one ear. He was super helpful, took his time and everything clean and sanitizing. Will definitely go back to get my second tragus done once this one heals up.

Friendly and good tattoos but the main tattooist does not wear masks, its small and can be packed and they dont encourage customers to wear masks.. So its not covid 19 safe at all there...
