Colley Ave Tattoo

Best tattoo experience so far. I went to Shannon Stoner for three different tattoos with two sessions total. The price she quoted me in the beginning was exactly what was charged at the end. She was very patient with me during the whole process. The tattoos are absolutely beyond anything I could’ve expected and healed better than any tattoo I’ve gotten before. It was my first experience at this parlor and it had that old school traditional vibe for sure, which I adore. It felt very community oriented and had decent parking.

First time I went there I was really satisfied with a WALK IN tattoo. Second time I had to schedule an appointment for a piece, rescheduled due to a family event, and accidentally rescheduled on a duty day (in the navy). Walked in to reschedule, within the seven day notice admittedly. And was told ‘unfortunately I’m going to have to pass’ and was accused of lying about having duty. Claiming that I said jury duty over the phone when I called earlier. I’m not exactly bent about all that, but keeping my $100 deposit because of policy got me. I hate to play the victim card when I was half the problem but still.

Awesome shop! Mike Cann did my leg sleeve, and its been a very enjoyable process. Everyone in the shop is friendly and easy to work with. They have plenty of time for walk ins and youll leave with a tattoo that youll be proud to wear on your body. Cant recommend this place enough. Its the only spot I go now.

Great experience getting tattood at Colley Ave. Scott is my go-to artist for American traditional, and this shop is exactly the kind of place you wanna go to get it done. Flash all over the walls, super clean, great vibe, and cool people. Best shop I’ve been to in the Va Beach/Norfolk area. Looking forward to going back soon to get some more work done!

Walked in for my first tattoo and felt super comfortable the entire time. FitchTattoos did my tattoo (i picked a piece from his book) and it came out incredible, im looking forward to the second session for color. all the other artists were super nice and overall it was a great environment.

I LOVE colley ave tattoo. I’ve been going to their shop for years (before they moved it to Norfolk) and I knew immediately when I walked in that it was different than other shops in the best way possible. I have always felt welcome at Colley Ave and able to express my likes and dislikes with Logan my tattoo artist. He always takes the time to make sure I’m getting what i wanted and you’ll never feel pressured to get something on your body you don’t love. I always recommend people come here when they ask me about a good shop to go to in the area. Not only are all the artists incredibly talented, but they’re just fun and chill people to be around. 12/10 recommend.

Great shop , great artists and art all over very welcoming and clean shop everyone is nice and easy to talk to you feel invited and included in every conversation and process of your tattoo . 10/10 would recommend 1 of top shops in southeast Va in my opinion.

Professional, polite, phenomenal! Went in to try for a walk-in tattoo and was able to schedule an appointment within an hour. Very knowledgeable before, during, and after I got my tattoo. Would highly recommend!

Nice shop with friendly people on hand to get you taken care of. I worked with Nikki and she was amazing. Im very happy with her work, and get compliments constantly about my arm. Highly recommended shop if you looking for a quality work of art.

Ive gone to Travis for my last couple pieces. Hes done a great job on both. The shop is very clean and their displayed art is fantastic. The rest of the staff were all very friendly and everyone was easy to converse with while spending time there.

Got a badass hawk tattoo from Mike! He did such a great job for every part of the process. He was super friendly and curious about what I wanted, easy to work with, professional, experienced, artistic, clean, communicative. Everyone at the shop was amiable as well. Good vibes. Relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommend.

The atmosphere at Colley Ave Tattoo is very welcoming and “homely”. Everyone is super nice and chill. From the artists I’ve worked with, to walking through the doors, I feel taken care of with such a welcoming feeling. Colley Ave Tattoo is the only place I would want to get a tattoo from!

I’ve been getting tattooed at this shop for almost 4 years (back when they were Folk City Tattoo) and have never walked out of there feeling anything but badass. I have gotten tattooed by almost everyone in the shop and they are all very talented, caring, and authentically human. I’ve been to many shops inquiring about tattoos in the past and have always felt a vibe of being “lower than”. Def elitist n weirdly biased n they real life think they the tattoo ability determination gods…like relax there’s ten million ppl who do what y’all do better lmfaoo. Also kinda rude for no reason…like I just wanted y’all to look at my art, not personally critique the fact that I ain interested in being like y’all n approaching a stolen indigenous practice like y’all. Tenderheart is way cooler n has a way more welcoming vibe n y’all should go there.

I have found my FOREVER artist! I had the pleasure of sitting with Chris Fitch for a few hours today while he worked on my leg, and he did an AMAZING job, very steady hand, beautiful line work on a rather large traditional style tattoo on the middle of my shin, color is placed evenly and beautifully, he talked kindly with me, cracked some jokes and made me feel very welcome and accepted, love the vibes, obsessed with the art, and the artists (all of them!) rock! Thank you again! I’ll be back soon 🥰

Found this shop on Instagram and found one of the artists had the style I wanted to finish my sleeve with. Travis Moyer helped me sort out what I was after and helped me in the right direction so I was 1000% satisfied with the results.All the artists are knowledgeable and personable in the shop, which is very clean. I’ll continue getting work here as long as I can!

@fitchtattoos does amazing work. Went in to get a quote on a tattoo I was interested in. He gave me really fair price and the he put his own twist on the idea that came out amazing. Check out his portfolio and the other guys at Colley Ave Tattos! You won’t be disappointed!

If you want a tattoo this is the place to go. Recently got a half sleeve done over the past year, Mike Cann does nothing but the best work. 10 out of 10 Id recommend. Shops immaculate, the guys are mad chill. Wicked sick place

There are things that objectively make a good tattoo (clean lines, smart colors, etc) and things that subjectively make it special for you. Logan can give you both.

Great atmosphere when you walk into this shop. Everyone is extremely pleasant and my artist, Travis, was a sweetheart and super talented. Ill definitely be back.

I went in there looking to get a small tattoo covered and was told that they were unable to cover it. Went to another shop and had the tattoo covered same day.
