Piercing Perfection

Went to get septum pierced. There was one person ahead of me getting their ears pierced. I was next!! James looked at my nose to make sure it was pierce-able. Cleaned it, drew a line to make sure it was straight and pierced it. Very quick, relatively painless. James gave me aftercare instructions, he will also look at it in 2 weeks to make sure its OK, no charge. Gave me written instructions also at the desk. Would definitely return again for a piercing!

Myself and 2 friends went to get piercing while at Myrtle beach 2 of us got nipple pierced and one got belly button and Sammy did the pricing and he was Fuc**** amazing and Trish at front was amazing herself to we absolutely will return !!!

James is amazing! He saved my Tragus piercing, and changed out the piercing without any issues or pain!I got it pierced somewhere else almost 2 months ago, but it was always sore to the touch. I even went back to the original place so they can make sure it wasnt infected, which they said it was fine just soak it in warm water and use tea tree oil.I woke up Thursday am and couldnt find my earing 😳It was so swollen that the earring was covered, I immediately went on Facebook and searched one of my local pages for piercing and the name James appeared over 20 times. I immediately knew this was the person I needed to see! I went in and as soon as James saw my ear he said they pierced it with a barbell that was too small 🤦🏼‍♀️ it was so swollen!As soon as he took the earring out, I felt immediate relief!I 💯 recommend James! He definitely has a customer for life 😁

Me and two friends walked into the shop and were all happily pierced within 30 minutes :) We each paid $45 including jewelry for a daith, helix, and conch. James is such a sweet guy and a very gentle piercer!! Definitely recommend for people visiting the area

New review-5/22/24I just received a service from JAMES it was literally phenomenal he sterilized everything his hands was very gentle very polite and professional I arrive 30 minutes prior to the opening time and he actually allowed me to be seen before they even opened the place is well kept and clean the young lady at the front desk was very sweet as well I didnt get her name but I remember her having colorful hair my new go-to for all my body jewelry needs I highly highly highly recommend this place.

Very clean Staff was so welcoming & knowledgeable my youngest daughter got her ears Pierce & my oldest daughter got a septum nose piercing and they both said it didnt hurt . They offer a free two week check up on all their piercings bc they DO give a damn about their customers! I definitely would recommend going to piercing perfection you want your body piercing done right the first time..

I took my 8 month old daughter to get her ears pierced here and it was amazing. James was great and calm when piercing her ears. He explained everything to us and was super swift and quick. He measured for the piercing perfectly and used sterile technique the entire time. As a mom I was super anxious and scared for this moment but he made the experience so much better. Ariana is the most professional and gentle piercer I’ve ever worked with. I have several piercings already, but have never been to Piercing Perfection. James is awesome and quick. He cleans thoroughly and makes sure it is safe for everyone. He also checks to see if you actually like what you are getting. Everytime I go he is working non stop. The prices are fair and the front desk girl was also really nice.

We took our 10 month old infant to have her earlobes pierced. James was phenomenal. He was so patient with her, and explained everything to us. At no point did we feel he was rushing or flustered by a squirmy infant. They use the highest quality jewelry thats best for infants. I cannot recommend him highly enough. 10/10!

First time we have been here. Plenty of parking available. We did not have an appointment. There were just 2 people ahead of us in the list. We brought 2 girls, ages 3 and 8, to get their ears pierced. We only had to wait about 15 minutes. The building was very clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. James was the one who pierced their ears, and he was very professional and good with children. He measured to be precise and explained everything through the process. So glad we found this place!

James did a very good job with my nose piercing. He got it done quick, with only the smallest bit of pain. It wasnt nearly as scary as I thought it would be. He was gentle and kind. The lady working at the front desk was nice too, and made sure that I understood everything that I needed to do after I got the piercing. I definitely recommend this place if your getting your first ever piercing, and recommend it if its your second or third. This is by far the best piercing place Ive been to.

Went someplace really expensive last time and wanted to save some money. Looked up reviews and called with questions. James was friendly and knowledgeable and we drove over an hour to see him. He did such a great job with my teenager that I decided to get a daith piercing myself. So happy we went to Piercing Perfection. Thank you for making my daughter’s birthday great!

James is a pleasure to work with. Professional, sincere and great at his craft are some words I would use to describe him. I have three piercings by him and everything has always gone very smoothly. His shop is clean. He is great about reassuring you and discussing your concerns before proceeding. Hes the only piercer Ive been to in the Charleston area, but I dont see any reason to look any further.

This place is the best place ever. Not only can you not beat the price but you can’t beat the quality. They thoroughly cleaned my nose and spent a long time making sure my piercing and the jewelry looked as perfect as possible. I came here for a nose piercing and a septum (I did them at separate times) and both times I was treated with kindness and respect. Ariana did my septum and she was amazing and super funny. I happen to live in Georgia so Ariana gave me her Instagram so that I could contact her directly with issues and setup a checkup in two weeks to check on the healing process. I will drive 5 hours to go here before I go anywhere else ever again!

James is the best piercer around, hands down, no doubt. Hes knowledgeable, professional, and super chill. He also is willing to do acupuncture-influenced jobs (but is quick to tell you, he is NOT an acupuncturist!), and the three weve had done in my household have all been magic. Hes the real business, guys.**EDIT** Were up to 12 piercings - my daith, my girlfriends nine, and her daughters 2. Ill never recommend anywhere else, and Ive recommended James to dozens of people who have asked about mine.

This piercing shop smells like a doctors office. Everything is super clean and sterile. James Dunn is super great guy. He talks you through each piercing and doesnt try to rush you. He provides excellent customer service. 5 stars arent enough for this place. He will be doing all my piercings

I went to Piercing Perfection for my first out of the norm piercing. I have always wanted my belly button pierced and was trying to find the best place to go. I traveled all the way from Branchville SC which is a good hour and a half away from North Charleston. I would make the drive every time to go see James. He was very informative and did an awesome job of keeping my attention off the piercing. I was very nervous about having it done and he did awesome to make me fall in love with this piercing. Just left from having my daith pierced. Everyone was friendly and awesome. James was freaking amazing. He explained everything thoroughly before, during, and after he was done. This was by far my best piercing experience ever. Should I get anything pierced again (hoping to get the other one done for sure), I will be returning to him.

The guy I can’t remember his name, but he re pierced my Monroe and did a really good job! He also tried to reopen the one I had already but wasn’t successful! But he went and got me right!! James is wonderful. Over the last year, he has done four various piercings for me. Two daith, one helix, and two more intimate piercings. I already had 5 before I walked into his shop. He is always very kind, walks you through everything, makes the pain more manageable, is always available for questions and concerns, has very fair prices, nothing he’s pierced has ever become infected or had complications, and he’s just a real nice, genuinely good guy. Will continue to go to only him for all of my future piercings.

By far, hands down, the best body piercing shop in SC. I Have a 12 year old that went to Claire’s, long story short the ear piercings became infected and had to be removed. She was scared to death to go back. But with James Dunn and his professionalism, patience, and detailed overview of the piercings, it was a walk in the park for her. Great work, polite people and the shop smells fresh and clean when you walk in. Don’t waste your time or money anywhere else, just come here first, you won’t be disappointed. My daughter (4 years old) wanted to have her ears pierced. I called around and was impressed by the knowledge of James. My best friend and I went to Piercing Perfection to get my rook and her tragus pierced. The piercing studio was very clean and comfortable, and the piercing specialist was very professional and answered all of our questions. He educated us on aftercare and even told us to come back for free check ups! They care about their clients. The experience was great. I will be coming back for future piercings.

Super clean, convenient location, convenient hours, all around great experience. My boyfriend got the daith piercing because he heard it helps with migraines. The reduction in his headaches has been amazing. It was my boyfriends first and only piercing but James made him feel comfortable and always takes the time to answer any question. I have gotten several piercings myself at Piercing Perfection and each time I am impressed with what a great experience I have every time.

Ariana Did an AMAZING job with my piercing. I’m the type of person that gets very anxious about any type of needle and she was so quick and professional that it easied all of my anxiety. I had the pleasure of being pierced by Ariana. She was professional, quick and so helpful. The facilities were clean, and had parking. Very small but I had no wait. They took appropriate amount of caution during this pandemic so I felt extremely comfortable. All in all, 10/10 experience.

I just got my nipples pierced a day ago and I was scared at first cause of the pain that I THOUGHT I was going to endure, but after talking with James, he made me feel better about the procedure. Honestly cares about his clients and wants them to be happy! I had a conch piercing done and had no problems with it. Not long after, I had gone to a party and got together with friends I had not seen in forever. I must have kept getting my ear bumped when dancing and hugging friends because it started swelling super bad and was extremely painful. James took the jewelry out, excruciatingly painful because it was that swollen, and told me to come back in a couple weeks to have it re-pierced free of charge. I had it redone and have not had any problems at all. I used to swear by a different shop in town, but I will always go to James from here on out. He has done several piercings for me and he has also corrected an issue with the jewelry the other shop gave me when I had my nipples pierced. I have large breasts and my old piercer had put in straight bars and it was always pressing into my skin and that caused it to be tender. James corrected the problem by giving me a curved barbell in each and I now have the look of straight bars, but now with no irritation.

Very professional and talented team. Took good care to comfort my daughter and teach her to care for it. I will definately suggest this place to anyone looking for a piercing.

I loved it! I just got my nose done tonight and they were so welcoming! I was so scared and was being such a wuss because Ive never gotten a piercing or tattoo done in my life and the man that did my piercing was so helpful along the way!! I thought my nose piercing was going to kill me😂 and he told me to close my eyes and I felt a pinch and it was done. Granted, yes it hurt. But I wouldnt have wanted to go anywhere else and I will continue to go here and recommend for future piercings!!!!

Brought my daughter here to get her 2nd hole in her ear for her 13th birthday. She was nervous about the needle but they assured her that it wouldnt hurt near as bad as a piercing gun. James is AMAZING. I had a super wierd problem with my piercing. I sent him a pic and he met me there after hours to help me. Great Experience. Super clean establishment!!!

My daughter has had several piercings done here so I decided to have the daith piercing to alleviate headaches. Im highly allergic to pain; however, he did an awesome job with the piercing, my fears and most of all, Ive been headache free for almost 2 months.

I had my infant son with me and they were very welcoming even to him. They eve suggested a way to keep him from pulling on the piercing. They were also very affordable compared to other places I had been.

Went to another piercer and was told the piercing in my nose was meant for a lip!!! Do not go here, my piercing took forever to heal just to get it changed and had to go somewhere to get it replaced!! The piercing wasn’t even and was a struggle to get another piercing in! I REPEAT THEY USED A LIP PIERCING ON MY NOSE!!

This place is the best place to go. They care about and require you to come back for a two weeks follow up appointment. They do excellent work here I would recommend it to anyone that’s interested in getting a piercing.

Quick service but the technician couldnt distinguish a 14 guage vs 18 guage if her life depended on it.

The piercer was awesome.My septum closed for about 2 months and he was able to restretch it instead of having to repierce it!I forgot to tip him so the least I could do is give a great review.

Went here to get my belly piercing done it was fast and easy HIGHLY recommend this place everybody.

I have been waiting outside for 40 minutes. I have been here since 11 when the y are supposed to be open and still no one has showed up. I have tried calling and messaging them to see why nobody has showed up and havent gotten any response. I havent even been inside and they already lost my business.

Only shop I could find to do a rare piercing. Was very knowledgeable and did not hurt as bad as anticipated (relatively speaking)

Basically said I was too fat to get a belly button piercing. Went to exotic impressions and they done it without question. Do not recommend this place at all.
