NiteOwl Tattoo

Sadly disappointed without even getting a tattoo. The moment I walked in the door I was judged! I followed their rules by going on line and filling info in ahead of time (months ago) and never heard from them. I decided today Id stop by. By looking at me I could tell they saw an older woman with no tattoos looking to get a tattoo in a difficult place. Well they were mistaken. I have several tattoos and where I want the new one has special meaning (it was a year long decision process). I never would have thought you would have judged a book by its cover!

This place is top notch. I have been to a few other artists, in and out of state, but the talent that these artists have create true quality tattoos. I love the work Zoe did on my tattoo. He was a professional, and easy to talk to both during my session and when planning the tattoo. I will absolutely be returning for more work in the future.

Let me just start with what a great group of artists. When you enter they are genuinely friendly and super helpful. No hard sell. No biker gang vibe. Superb people. I went with my daughter for her first tattoo and I told her I would get a second one. They were phenomenal at helping alleviate her nerves. No rush. No clock watching. Clean, clean and clean. Meticulous prep and great atmosphere. Patrick Quirk was the artist who did ours. Super satisfied. All of their artists have great “bedside manner” They want you to come back for the next one, and we will! Thanks Patrick for taking such good care of us!

Had to travel a bit for my tattoo appointment with Lindsey but it was well worth it. She blasted this gorgeous cover up on my hand. From the moment I walked in the door all the staff and artists made me feel like a regular. Lindsey’s skill and warmth were glaringly obvious from start to finish. The shop was very clean and the music was eclectic. Looking forward to taking another trip out there for another tattoo.

Such a clean and great atmosphere. The staff are super friendly, and TALENTED! Patrick is my man and has done a few tattoos on me, slowly adding more. Definitely recommend this shop.

What a great experience, this was my first tattoo and I couldnt have asked for anything more. Zucco does such beautiful tattoos and is such a nice guy. They have an amazing store and gave me all the products I need for after care, great job guys!!

Greatpeople clean environment Lindsay did a great job on the first half of my tattoo cant wait to get it finished... They go above and beyond to make sure youre comfortable. They made trips to the convenience store asked me if I needed anything I have back issues so they allowed me to get up when I needed to no attitude.. and great conversations throughout the experience

Artist was PatrickWent into the Tattoo shop a few months back lookin to get some new ink, spoke to Patrick about what i was looking for, how big i wanted to go and what the price range i wanted was. I had told him between $250 - $400 for the full tattoo. Got a date left happily, After some time the date came around and it was time to get some fresh ink. Overall the experience was great until the end, When it came time to pay it was about 300$ an i tipped as well. Then came the news that another session was needed and it was going to be another $300 - $500 to finish the tattoo, which is not what we agreed to. This does not include the 100% Deposit i also put down on the tattoo, bringing the total price paid to $400 spent.The Original Agreement was for a $250 - $400 tattoo, not a $700 - $900 dollar tattoo. Nor was it told to me that the Artist i was seeing being the Shop Rate artist. Every artist i have worked with has always been a flat price by piece. I had to find out by a family friend. All and all, Patrick while nice and very friendly but the communication on price was not ideal at the consultation.I had a appointment for the 15th, which Ive had to cancel because of the price. Next time it would be nice to know before sitting down that the price of the tattoo was way more then what was agreed too.** EDIT **To answer the bottom response from the owner / shop.Yes Patrick did message me via text, then went on to blame me for the mis-communication. 1. There was no talk of any kind of shop rate. 2. I was asked how much i wanted to spend and i responded accordingly. 3. In the text i was told i was only going to be charged maybe another hour or hour an half. Which is not what was said to me at the counter when i paid for the 1st session. this is now the 3rd time the price has changed. Because of the text messages my review goes from 3 to 1 stars. I will not be returning. Thank you.

I went to get my first tattoo here. Patrick was my artist. It was such a great experience. Patrick is an amazing artist and made sure his design was exactly what I wanted. He put so much detail into it and was applying balm as he worked to help it heal nicely. It looks so good! Everyone there was friendly and pleasant, and also clearly enjoyed working together, which really helps any business be more hospitable to customers. Im definitely coming here for all my future tattoos too.

A great little shop tucked just off to the side of downtown Northampton. I went in to get a raccoon chef tattooed on me by Lindsay Baker, and it was an enjoyable experience all around. Its a friendly spot with a welcoming, talented crew and an overall chill vibe to it. Im going back in a month to finish my piece and I look forward to the return trip.

Exactly what I wanted! Walked in, made an appointment for the following day. Quick and easy. Will definitely return for more work!

If you’re looking for a top notch tattoo, this is the place to go. I worked with Patrick and his art is out of this world. The vibe in this place is very chill and everyone there is very friendly. Definitely going back to have more work done (and to listen to the amazing playlist of music they have lol)

As someone who has been tattooed in multiple shops by a good handful of artists, I was thrilled with my experience yesterday at Nite Owl tattoo with Seth Holmes. It was definitely one of my best experiences getting tattooed. He really was a pleasure to work with and went above and beyond with the customer service and friendliness. Not only that, he took my idea and made it 100x better than it was in my head. The shop is fun, clean and just overall a great place to visit.

Went today for my first tattoo. Staff were friendly, helpful, and just as excited as you are. Had great work from Nicole, who was also a riot to talk with. Did an absolutely superb job. I highly recommend this place. Great first impression!

I was anxious about making an appointment for my first tattoo, but I was immediately put at ease by the exceptionally friendly and helpful staff over at NiteOwl. Great, cool, funny bunch who run a very clean, organized, yet fun and laid back establishment. I was greeted and spoken to very warmly and kindly when I booked the appointment and when I returned to make the deposit. I booked a full session with Jake after admiring his work, and he definitely did not disappoint artistically. His photo-realistic black and white pieces are something you’d expect to travel well outside of the area for; truly top-tier, phenomenal stuff and he’s doing it right in my town. What’s more notable about Jake though is that he’s just the sweetest dude! With work like his, he can have any sort of attitude he wants; but his professionalism, courtesy and kindness are unmatched. He took exceptional care of me for the 7+ hours I was in the chair with him, made sure to give me breaks, cleaned up thoroughly as he went, chatted me up on occasion, but stayed focused on his piece and worked efficiently. Really knows what he’s doing, I can’t recommend him enough! You’ll wait a while to work with him because he’s rightfully booked up, but well worth the wait! With that said, the other artists seemed equally professional throughout the shop as they were working with other clients. These guys will take great care of you. If condescending, rude artists are a concern to you, go to NiteOwl and you will have a much better experience.The only downside I can mention is that the chair I sat in during my tattoo was just a basic, flat, lightly padded banquet chair and got uncomfortable pretty quick. I was given plenty of stand up and stretch breaks but I might not have needed them if I was on something more comfortable. I am a big heavy guy, so this might not be everybody’s experience, but if you’re on the heavier side, I would definitely bring some kind of cushion with you if you’re going in for a long session. Wouldn’t dream of knocking a star off for this though, it’s a tiny gripe compared to an otherwise really great experience. Will do business with again, this place is ace!

Great experience at this shop, got work done by Jacob Zucco and he was an absolute pleasure to work with. Really laid back and receptive to what I wanted to get done. The people here seems to really care about you getting the best quality of work and ensuring you are comfortable during your session. Im definitely going to be back for my next tattoo!

I had such an amazing experience at Niteowl! The shop was recommended to me by a friend, and after looking up the artists for a while I reached out for a consultation. After several months, my day of reckoning came, and it was such a wonderful experience. My artist, Jake Zucco, not only has amazing work, but is so professional and kind, it was truly a welcoming and supportive experience. The entire shop, artists, other people getting tattooed everyone was just so friendly and fun, it was a very accepting and welcoming atmosphere. After putting up with me for eight hours, Zucco was still so professional and really seemed invested in my experience. I cant wait to come back in the spring!

Seth did my third tattoo, it was my first time getting one at NiteOwl and I couldnt be happier with it. All the people in the shop were very friendly and the process was as comfortable as it could be. He was very receptive to my ideas and honest about what he thought would look good and age well. Called NiteOwl last minute to see if they had walk-ins. They were the 5th place I called in North Hampton and I AM SO GLAD THEY COULD TAKE ME LAST NIGHT! I was getting my first tattoo so I was slightly freaking out and Patrick and the rest of the artists made me feel super good about it and gave really good advice. I got a really small simple tattoo, so not a ton of artistry but you can tell by the artist books how amazing they all are. Patrick is great and did exactly what I wanted and made it look really good, I am really happy. It was such a fun, safe, cool, environment/experience. Highly recommend it.

So far Ive gotten three tattoos here, all walk-ins, all different artists. The staff is always really chill and friendly, Ive never had a bad experience here and the prices are always very fair. For one of the tattoos I got I had forgotten to eat that day and so when I started getting tattooed I got really light-headed. When I told my artist, Patrick, he stopped and got me a coke and the guy at the front desk went and got me a slice of pizza. They were really nice and understanding which was much appreciated given that I was kinda embarrassed by the fact that they had to get me food. All in all, every time Im their I get a great tattoo and have a great experience. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone looking to get a tattoo, especially if youre into new school tattoos.

There is a reason that I fly from Tennessee to Niteowl. Timmy B as corny as this sounds is like meeting a celebrity, I’m that much of a fan of his art and having him tattoo my sleeve is literally a dream come true I completely trust his ability and judgement on what I’m going to wear proudly forever. But the shop itself is full of those same type artists these people are incredible and so cool and down to earth. Billy has become a friend of mine throughout getting tattooed up there and I feel at home when I go there. These guys and gals have fun trash talk and it’s just a great experience all around. I can’t say enough good things about the work I’ve had done and just the vibe and character of these artists it’s a rare place to have all that packed into one. So I sincerely thank you for everything and I’ll se you soon Niteowl!

Patrick & Lindsay did wonderful tattoos for us. The shop is very clean and professionally run. It was refreshing to feel so comfortable getting inked and the organic inks are awesome. We will be back.

I know that the artist there are talented, theres no doubt. However I went to get a small tattoo on my wrist. At first it seemed ok, but as it healed it is clear the artist missed a couple spots and overall I am not happy. I will eventually be going back in to let them know and hopefully get it fixed. Just a little upset that there wasnt much care taken for my small tattoo, whereas the big ones are treated very well. I do have to say they are very nice there, I was a walk in and they took me right away. It wasnt super expensive either.

I wanted to purchase a tat for my son. Night Owl was recommended by a dear friend of the family. My son emailed Seth in May 2019 with a photo of the tattoo he wanted and the requested photo of his chest. My son didn’t receive a response for two weeks. I then stopped into the shop three weeks later. Still no response for another week- this 4 weeks now. I emailed Seth personally and received a response 10 days later from Britney, (who is Britney?), that Seth might be able to do the tattoo in September. She also asked for a pic of the tattoo again. We are not interested !! Very poor interest in customer service!! That speaks volumes to me👎🏻

There’s no doubt the artists are awesome at their kraft, but need help with customer service skills. I walked in the shop with my wife and wanted to get a portrait of her face on my body.. Mind you.. This is my wife over 15yrs... I researched Seth who I noticed does awesome realism tattoos and got turned down. I also had to wait and email him a pic of the type of work I wanted which took like 3 months just to book an appointment.. Wasted my time going out of my way to get to the shop, leaving work early to get turned away. Waste of time and research... Customers always come first..

Every artist here is beyond amazing. Great work, friendly atmosphere, and over all just amazing. Ive been to many shops, and no where else could hold a candle to NiteOwl. Well worth a long drive from anywhere.

Lindsay was fantastic! Very friendly, made sure I was comfortable the whole time, and is very good at what she does. I got two small tattoos (one with color/shading) and was done in about 20 minutes! 👍

NiteOwl not only has extremely talented & hard-working artists (& Billy), but everyone at the shop is humble, welcoming & down to earth. This crew & the overall atmosphere/vibe is what every shop should be striving for.

Do you like rad tatty zappers by industry *award winning* artists? Then look no further, cause these peeps are about as good as it gets. It’s also super duper clean inside and provides the perfect atmosphere for each client and their specific needs. I’ve gotten multiple pieces here, and will continue to return. You should definitely go here too, ...unless you are a jerk. If you are a jerk, don’t go here. I like these people.

It seems that almost everybody who’s commented seems to say as much.EXCEPT......Alisha Parker-Martell.Well I won’t be taking the advice of ANYBODY who seems to have a problem with the 1st Amendment and by looking at her 3 other reviews, she doesn’t seem to have anything nice to say about anybody. As a business owner myself, these are the type of customers that actually believe that the customer is ALWAYS right. Even when you make ridiculous assertions about people and requests of the business owner.This kind of person, as a customer, gives credence to the saying “addition by subtraction”. Not that i dislike...as a matter of when i get a tattoo i will go to nightowl. I used to live next door... The staff was always friendly 😎 and easygoing on my way by. The facade and windows are cool enty of parking in front and prices are reasonable.

I almost dont want to share this amazing establishment, almost like how you dont want to share a good fishing spot. But all of Massachusetts needs to hear this, Niteowl is tops. Cant wait to go back.

Hours advertised are NOT correct. Drove to the shop only to find it closed hours prior to what they say on google, website and the actual place. Bad experience. Please update your hours or honor them.

I have a tattoo done by Tim Barnes. It was years ago, maybe 4 or 5 years. It still looks great! Looking forward to the next one.
