Love this tattoo shop and always have a good time. The artists are great and, from my experience, have done better than what I expected every time

Matt is a great guy and artist. He’s done my two stomach tattoos and I’ve had some other artists do a few for me who work or used to work here. Im hoping to go in so Matt can do my chest tattoo soon!

Got a piercing and they were helpful, and explained everything perfectly and were all very kind, will be back for sure!

Im picky with artists. I look at their line work, shading, color choice, overall quality & their creativity. Ive had many interactions with Mat. For two of my tattoos, including my whole back, and a couple tattoos for my wife.I mention that because, throughout all the hours of speaking to him he really knows what hes doing. Understands it on a scientific level and can explain it as such.Beyond being technically skilled at his profession, hes an artist I trust. Has always been extremely fair & reasonable with pricing, even despite a few of my misunderstandings.*Sidenote: take healing correctly seriously. Makes a big difference.

I have chosen 3 stars instead of 1, because we only dealt with 1 person for our experience. I don’t know if the entire establishment is like this or if it’s just the person we dealt with. I went in with 2 friends to get ear piercings. The man who helped us was named Rooster / Micheal. He was rude throughout the piercings, saying things like “You’re fine, it’s not that bad. I study pain so I know.” He climbed on top of my 2 friends for their piercings and raised his voice during them. It was quite unpleasant compared to our other piercing experiences!! He also did not sanitize our ears before piercings, and chose oddly different earrings for each of us even tho we were getting the same piercings. The next day (and for the next week) we all had swollen, throbbing, tender ears. I would even wince when my hair brushed my ear (and that was with taking the max ibuprofen & Tylenol on a 4hr rotation) so I knew something was very wrong! Apparently, my ear had started to SPLIT down the middle from the conch. I chose not to return because I didn’t trust him touching my ear again (my friends felt the same, so we went elsewhere to fix it). It turns out he had used very cheap earrings, chosen the wrong gauge AND shape/type for all the piercings, which led to up to our issues. We all had *instant* relief after we had our piercings replaced. My split ear is healing ok now. Regardless, know that if u go here, don’t see this guy unless u want to be assaulted and in pain for a week…

Twitchy was amazing! She took my husband and I as a walk in and gave us exactly what we wanted. We have been looking for an artist around Clarksville for so long and we are so happy to have one we love!!

I love my tattoo! Matthew did a great job! My tattoo looks very clean and beautiful. The atmosphere was great and I enjoyed my experience here. Will be returning for sure

I cant say enough great things about this place. My artist and owner of the shop was Matthew. He and his staff were top notch through the whole experience. Matthew is extremely talented and brought my ideas to life to the very small details. He has a very broad knowledge of any and all tattoo styles and it definitely shows in his work. I currently have both arms and one leg tattooed by him.If you want a good tattoo go to Nevermore Galleries!! This is my permanent, go to, tattoo shop.

10 out of 10 would recommend this shop to anyone! Ive been going to Mathew for over a year (ive known his personally for well over 13 years), and I couldnt ask for a better artist. Initially I went back to him for a cover up of a tattoo I had done over 14 years ago. Not only did I give him full creative control (after telling him what specific flowers I wanted), he drew it up and it was perfect!Fast forward to a couple months later and I came to him requesting to begin a Snow White themed sleeve. Specifically told him I didnt want Disney princess Snow, and you better believe he delivered. Shes dark, evil, more than I couldve imagined! Every step building into this sleeve, hes had full creative (approved) control over. Hes literally been bringing my vision of Snow White into reality! From the cliff hanging Dwarf house to the the way hes portrayed an evil beauty. I cant WAIT to continue this journey with Mathew!

Ive gotten more than one piece done here and Ive enjoyed every minute spent at Nevermore, Mathew has talent and is an exceptional artist, Ive made the mistake before of not waiting and have had rough experiences when Ive gone somewhere else.Mathews shop is clean and professional and he absolutely takes his work seriously. He takes your ideas and turns it into awesome art! We will always come back!

I cannot say enough great things about Matt and his team at Nevermore Tattoo! They were extremely kind, professional, and the studio is bright, clean, and inviting! The whole staff was so nice and had great stories to listen to during my appointment. Not only did I love my tattoo...I couldnt believe how great their customer service was...there was a bit of a snow storm going on while I was there and the guys even started my car and cleaned off my windshield so it would be warm and ready to go for me. I looked all over the area before choosing Nevermore and it was totally worth it...I highly recommend them!!

The people here are amazing! Such a fun group of people that are super caring of their clients! I gave a general description of what I wanted done with my first tattoo and Julian knocked it out the park! At one point I even passed out, and not only did they go out of their way to make me feel comfortable, but they also bought me food to try and bring energy back into me! This place makes me want to travel out of state to come and see them again for future tattoos!

Twitch was INCREDIBLE! She took her time and was thorough and did a fantastic job with the tattoo we wanted. We are definitely going to go back! The facility was clean, the employees were so friendly, and the service was superb!

Let me start by saying Im a bit Biased, I worked for Mathew for a few months in his studio, not only is it a great place to work and get Tattoos but he used to bring his kids there also as did I. no better place for them to be. Mathew is a great owner and all around great guy. I learned alot from him that helped me with my tattooing, i will always be in his debt. you will not find a finer place or artist in the area.

Amazing work! The only place I will go to get a tattoo. They are super professional and easy going as well as fair priced. The owner Matthew, is a phenomenal artist and I highly highly recommend coming here for your tattoo and piercing needs! The shop is super clean and radiates awesome vibes!

My brother and I had Charlie and she was amazing. On top of pricing myself and him very well, she was extremely patient and careful about our tattoos, and was also patient with my brother who was getting his first tattoo. She also had an insanely clean workspace that really helped our initial trust of her. All the artists were really friendly too and thats not even to mention the artwork. We came in with a rough sketch of matching brother tattoos with the idea of making them distinct and Charlie blew or expectations out of the water.

ABSOLUTELY LOVE BOTH OF MY TATTOOS!! Charlie did both of them and i couldn’t be more happy! She was very caring through the whole process always made sure to clarify on everything! Double checked and made sure you understood what i was saying and made sure everything was what i wanted. The entire shop staff was also amazing and the shop has such a wonderful feeling and i wouldn’t rather get my tattoos at any other shop! Absolutely love them!

I had got my tattoo done yesterday by Charlie and all i can say is wow! She was clean, nice, and very talented. She knocked out a 2 sessions tattoo in one session! All i can say is if you want quality work done at a great price, go hit them up! I will definitely be back for more!

Mike did my double nose piercing. He was great, quick, and the whole process was pretty painless. Ive had this piercing before and it was extremely painful and bled a decent amount. This time around was a great experience. Ill definitely be going back for any future piercing needs.They were all extremely professional and took all the necessary Covid precautions. Highly recommend!

Just finished my third session with Mathew and I am so happy to have found him. Moving to Fort Campbell I was kind of hesitant at finding a new artist. However, I thought I would give someone new a try since my old artist is in North Carolina. I went to several shops and looked at many portfolios before deciding on Mathew and I couldnt be happier! He did a fantastic job on my cover up and this new piece we started is pure art work! Nice atmosphere, and quality work. Charlie the other artist is also amazing! I highly recommend them both!

I went to Nevermore on a whim after a friend of my daughters mother showed me a giant Phoenix tattoo she was working on, it was some of the most amazing and colorful work I have ever seen. I had been searching for someone who would make my visions for what I wanted a reality and definitely found that here at Nevermore. Matthew took the time to go over everything and made me feel comfortable. I had only one tattoo before I came and Matthew has done a half sleeve and we are currently finishing up my full sleeve on my other arm 😁. I have recommended several of my friends since coming and they have had the same experience with beautiful work. I always brag about Nevermore anytime people praise my tattoos and will continue to recommend people to go!!!

Got family tattoos. Julian was amazing, especially considering for two of us it was our first tattoos. He made sure we werent too uncomfortable and that we liked the placement. Was thorough and did an amazing job! Would definitely recommend.

They have great work and the guys around the shop are cool and make you feel comfortable. The only bad thing that I experienced was the wate, it took me 3 months to get my tattoo after I made a appointment. But besides that I love the place, people, they do great work!! I will definitely be back.

Charlie was a sweetheart who came in on her off day to do my tattoo and I really appreciated it (you the real mvp girl) She was friendly fun and patient with me. It was my first tattoo so I was a bit of a pain. The line work was crisp straight and amazing and the tattoo was done in an hour and a half and was 200 while taking up half my calf. Im excited to get another one and will be back soon.

I came into the shop today to have my facial dermal looked at. It was done in a shop in Indiana less than 6 months ago. I was concerned because it was sticking out and looked possibly infected. Rooster was able to help me remove the piercing and was very professional in both the removal and in explaining why it needed to be removed. He talked me through my options, made sure I felt comfortable and wasnt nauseous, and removed the piercing with minimal scarring. I would definitely recommend visiting Rooster for your piercing needs, even if youve been to another shop and are worried about something not feeling right.

I got my tattoo on friday with matthew and i am in love. the healing process has been so nice. he was gentle when he was tattooing me and made sure i was doing okay. My tattoo looks amazing and it looks just like my cat. I am so glad that I came here for my tattoo and if I wasn’t moving I would hands down never go anywhere else for my tattoos. I also got my septum pierced on Saturday by Charlie and it was such a comforting experience. She’s so kind and professional. the whole process just took like 3 minutes but it felt like 2 seconds. she was gentle and made me feel comfortable, along with Brooklyn, the girl in training. Best experience i’ve had by far. I love this place and would recommend it everybody and anybody.

I got a full sleeve from Matt he was great I gave him my ideas and he set me up with a couple appointment and I tell you he can really draw and create things to make it own creation. I’m very happy for my tattoo it really looks great. my friends and family really like it and I think they will probably come see Matt for a tattoo. Got my nose pierced here and the process was straightforward. The woman who pierced me made sure I was comfortable, asked me about the placing, and went through the process fairly quickly and easily. I had to go back because I knocked my nose ring out a couple of weeks later, and she helped me with no problem. I would recommend.

Charlie did me and my husbands tattoo on our ring finger and forearm. She was really sweet and EXTREMELY light handed. Along with GREAT pricing. HIGHLY recommend her 10/10 for anyones tattoo or piercing needs!

I walked into Nevermore Galleries with a tattoo that I was embarrassed of and walked out with one that I absolutely love! They do incredible work, have a fun and inviting atmosphere, and an extremely clean shop. I was nervous getting a cover-up but I get so many compliments on my tattoo that I’m so happy I came to this shop. Would DEFINITELY recommend.

I got three piercings done. They were fast, efficient, and cared for my baby while I was getting the piercings done. It’s a wonderful and kind place, definitely planning to come back.

He does somewhat decent work, but Matt is a poor excuse for a human being. There are lots of very talented tattoo artists in Middle Tennessee. Maybe find one that isnt complete trash to work with. Hell quote you one price then raise the price before he finishes. And good luck walking away. Hell just steal your deposit.

I went in as a walk In and the guy who did my tat was weird. He was telling me and my friend about his piercing in his spot down below and made us feel really uncomfortable calling us babygurl and mamas. He was very very heavy handed and this is my 8th tattoo and it hurt the worst and it’s small !!! He did way to much shading and over all I was charged way to much. My huge leg piece was 150 and he charged me $120 for a little flower.

I met Eric for the fist time a couple months ago when I walked in and gave him my idea for a tattoo. Eric listened and presented me with great design even with the changes I expressed. This was no small tattoo, this was a big half sleeve with alot of detail. It took several sits to complete but yielded excellent results. I would highly recommend Eric and everyone at Nevermore. I encourage anyone looking for a first tattoo or wanting to add more to allow Nevermore to do the work. I will be back .

Went to big daddy’s and had my nipple piercings botched friday. micheal helped me sunday to take them out and thank god he did because who knows what could’ve happened if they stayed in. i 1000% will be coming back to see him once they are healed to have them redone. he’s my new piercer and who i’ll be recommending to people from now on.

Went here to change my septum piecing, which i got pierced at another store. The piecer told me that my piecing was done wrong and offered to fix it for me. I was scared cause I didn’t wanted to go through the pain again. He pinky promise it wouldn’t hurt and he wast right, it didn’t hurt at all, definitely a person who knows what he is doings!

Yo, Charlie came up with the entire idea for this. Like I gave her free reign, literally draw what you want she came up with an amazing, dope af tattoo. We talked and cut up and had a good time for 7 hours. Shes an incredible artist and everyone should go get a beautiful woman face from Charlie!

Randomly found Mat, looking for through all the portfolios in the Tattoo Parlors online in the Clarksville/Nashville area. I was looking for a certain style and wanted someone who did the style a lot and not just someone who could mimic the style. Someone that would be able to cover up an older, large tattoo. Almost, went out of state until I found Mats stuff, which the tattoo he had to cover up, didnt even phase him and said he cover up a black box if necessary. Is Professional and charges less per hour than what I would have expected, and accurately deducts for time when breaks are needed.We was able to coordinate together for the best colors to pop on my skin tone. His name is tied to it, so if I went a direction that he thought was a bad idea, he tried to skew my point of view towards a route that would look the best. He wouldnt just take my money and just tattoo whatever composition/layout I wanted, without some type of professional input.He can also draw/freehand in a moments notice. I had some extra space and told him I wanted this, this and this. He flipped my arm over and it drew it in seconds with detail as if he took it home and sketched it.More than a one trick pony. Ive seen tattoos come through his shop, from Pokemon to anime characters. Go to Mat, regardless of what shop he is at, if you have art to tattoo.

I had Charlie and she did an amazing job. The entire parlor was very friendly and did amazing work and i would recommend to anyone whos needing some art. I gave her my work on what i wanted and gave her an idea of what i wanted then intrusted her ro so what she thought would make it pop and she did awesome. My husband went to get a tattoo but it didnt come out the way he expected. He paid $150 for it and it wasnt even that big of a tat. We didnt find out until afterward that itll be that much. The artist was originally supposed to tattoo my husband AND my sister, but changed his mind when another lady came in with a tattoo he thought was easier to do than my sisters and told us to book another appointment with him...WHAT?! THEN he tried to charge my sister and I $100 a piece to BOOK an appt, then told us wed have to pay $300 for 2 small tattoos! So $500 for 2 small tats. I told him that I have tattoos and Ive never paid that much for a small one. He says Well this isnt an in home tattoo business, this is an actual tattoo shop. First of all Ive never gotten a tattoo in anyones home. I was offended by that comment! How dare you?! We left and never went back! And wont be back!

After seeing the work Matt inked on my wifes calf, I knew he would be able to help me with my situation. I wanted a tattoo covered up or something as it was not lined correctly or symmetrically placed. I was extremely shocked and surprised when Matt stated he could re-work it and make it better and that there was no need for a complete cover up, although he was willing to do that if I wanted to go that route. The end result was 110% better than I had hoped or expected. Near the end of the session, he wanted to discuss the odd looking ear and eye and asked me for my opinion. I proposed a different idea and he quickly handed me an iPad while telling me to draw it so that he could see what I was proposing. He liked the idea and that is where the blind eye and torn ear came from. Thank you Matt for doing the impossible and thank you for not only listening to my crazy idea but making it better than I imagined.

It was an awesome environment, everyone was super cool and relaxed. Charlie went above and beyond and exceeded every expectation I had for my tattoo, definitely my new go to spot for anything that involves tattoos.

Shadow was eager to take on my ideas and did a piss poor job for a huge price. Partly my fault for getting it done. I can only speak on shadow not anyone else in the shop. Don’t go to shadow 👍 three stars cause the shop is nice. If it were a review on the work by shadow, 1 star

I called to see if they had a guage measuring tool. Just to measure my current stretch. Idk if who I spoke with is having a bad day or if their normal energy is to be rude but he responded with “ Our Piercer is here on Sunday. I’m a tattoo artist, what you’re asking me to do would be like asking a mechanic to build a house” so I think I know where not to go. Told him to have a blessed day and I mean that but dang man it was just a question.

No class . But it is a tattoo shop so what can you expect?Rude owner. Self entitled.But the rest of the staff is great. I hope they find a better work environment.

Mathews art isnt something he does, its what he is.They say it takes 10,000 hours of dedication to master a skill, and he passed that point years ago. Unlike most masters, however, hes compelled to still be constantly improving himself. Hes also always searching for new techniques and styles that he can incorporate into his work.A tattoo artist like Mathew is incredibly rare anywhere in the world - take advantage of your chance to sit with him!

Got the 2nd hole in my ears pierced by Charlie and I let the apprentice pierce me. Both were very professional. Apprentice did great didnt even feel it. Would definitely recommend them.

Amazing attention to detail! Very clean/sanitary. Check out the realistic 3D/optical illusion tattoos. Better hurry, Matt is booked months in advanced, but his art is worth the wait!

There was a girl here that was apprenticing she does excellent work . She has her own shop now ! The male owner of this place is absolutely rude and very arrogant and you can tell he lies to his customers !
