I came to this shop to follow an artist who Ive known to do great work on alot of my husbands friends. Ive been wanting a cover up for a while but wasnt really sure what would work in that space. Magoo did a great job coming up with a good design and integrating it into the existing tattoo. To me it doesnt even look like a cover-up it just looks like a really well done tattoo. Me and my husband definitely look forward to getting more work done by him in the future. The shop itself was very clean, spacious, and overall comfortable.

I recently visited Black Lotus Tattoo Shop for a double helix, industrial piercing and a 4th lobe. I cant say enough good things about their piercing services. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the cleanliness of the entire shop. The piercing studio, in particular, was organized, which immediately put my mind at ease.I had the pleasure of being pierced by Gentle Gabe, and he truly lives up to his name. Gabe is not only professional but also incredibly friendly and gentle. He took the time to explain every step of the process to me, ensuring I was comfortable and informed. His personality made the experience enjoyable and set a comfortable setting.Gabes attention to detail was evident as he ensured that I was happy with the placement of my piercings before proceeding.He also provided thorough aftercare instructions, making sure I understood how to take care of my new piercings to prevent any issues. Went in with my sister to get piercings. We were in and out. Didnt take long at all. The environment is extremely clean and I felt very safe getting my piercing done there. They have a very nice studio for tattoos also. Prices were straight forward. We were given directions for aftercare and we were able to purchase products to aid in the healing process. I will return if I have any other tattoo or piercing needs in the future.

Love this place, its always clean! The artist that did the eye tattoo doesnt work there anymore but from what I can tell, the other artists also do amazing work. Just got 7 more tattoos today from Tim, he did the 2 behind my ears. Gotten 6 piercings here, Jayson and Brandi both get the job done!

I went to Black Lotus for my very first tattoo experience, because that is where my friend, Chelsea, works her artistic magic! I barely gave her anything to go on and she came up with the perfect energy piece for me! She was super patient with me as well when we were trying to dial in the colored details.The location is an open, comfortable, and clean space. Everyone there was pleasant and friendly :)I had a wonderful first experience. Chelsea at Black Lotus is very personable and makes you feel at ease. Ive gotten two tattoos from Chelsea so far. The first one was a tribute to my mother, a Hummingbird and the second was a add on to my Harry potter. Needless to say, I love both of them. Chelseas prices are reasonable, and her work is outstanding. I would recommend anyone to checkout Black Lotus and all the Tattoo artists there seem to take pride in their work.

Shelby did an amazing memorial tattoo as tribute to my sister who passed days before. She was quick to accommodate what I wanted and I am so grateful. The shop is clean and the atmosphere is awesome.

Absolutely love my latest tattoo. Chelsea listened to my thoughts, looked at images I kind of liked, and then she created the perfect design. It perfectly covered my previous tattoo that I’ve been having removed the last two years, and she was very light handed. Shop was clean & professional. Will definitely be back for my next one.

UPDATE! I am so excited. JAYSON did a phenomenal job. He explained everything to me. I can be dramatic and he helped keep me calm. I prayed for God to send me the right person in the right time and He so did! It certainly was an amazing experience from start to finish. I highly recommend them.Cant wait for my appointment. My favorite things about the shop are that it’s centrally located on the southern outskirts of Ocala so it’s not a far drive no matter where you live in Marion County. It’s cool and modern, but still family friendly. Everyone that works there is very friendly and helpful. Although the shops real claim to fame is that they have the smallest tattoo artist in Florida working there. So if you want to get tattooed, but never could bring yourself to let some big, sweaty, tatted up, long bearded biker all up in your personal space for hours at a time. It’s totally different with this girl she is so small you forget she is even there sometimes! Love, love, love Chelsea! Picture is a work in progress!

I have gone to Black Lotus many many times and have been tattooed by almost everybody there (only one artist hasnt out of the 5). very clean shop and overall fun environment to be in. Jayson, Chelsea,Megan, and Hamilton have all tattooed me and have been very impressed with all the work. I always return and would suggest anybody to come without hesitation. pictured is my most recent tattoo done by Chelsea, and all the artist work with you and do suggest somethings to make the design better love it here!!! I will always return to then!

Got a piece done by . At first I LOVED THE TATTO, but as my skin calmed down you can see all the missed areas that have no color.Then she fibbed to me saying she was in the hospital, but I found out she was really inside tattooing SOMEONE ELSE on my Dime.If she was Really Sick I could understand, but to Lie I can not understand.She does great work… she doesn’t finish what she starts.!!!!!! 🤬🤬🤬🤬

This was my first tattoo ever. I was slightly nervous though the artists at the shop that day were very reassuring and made sure I was comfortable. My artist checked in with me constantly throughout the process to ensure was good. I highly recommend them. I initially was only going to get one tattoo, though the great experience I had at this shop has made me consider getting another.

Staff was kind and professional. During my session I had two tattoos done. One in full color and the other in partial color. Chelsea was amazing and brought my ideas and visions to life. The artist are comical and have great conversations with their clients to pass the time. They are overly knowledgeable and willing to help their clients. I had an appointment booked two weeks out prior to but a few walk-ins during my visit and they were taken care of. Highly recommend if your looking for quality work. Definitely going back to finish up some of the color packing that needs to be done.

I went in for a nose piercing. Jason was very knowledgeable and informative. Everything was sterile work spaces are neat and organized. The process was quick and easy. 10 outta 10 recommend.

Walked in thinking I needed my septum repierced but Jayson was able to hook me up with a taper and new jewelry and sent me on my way in about 15 minutes. Super quick and friendly service, thanks!

I have gone here several times to get tattoos and a Daith piercing. Each time the shop has been clean and everyone was super nice. Chelsea has done both of my tattoos and they were her customs work and Iove them so very much! Jayson was the one who did the Daith piercing and he was very professional and quick! If you are looking to get tattooed or get a piercing this is the place to go!

Jayson is efficient and amazing. He not only brought my 20 year old tattoo back from the dead, but fixed the horrible artwork too. It is now the tattoo I always wanted. All my family has passed, so this family coat of arms means a lot to me. I cant thank Jayson and Black Lotus Tattoo enough. AND...Jayson donated my tip to Alzheimers research. I had an amazing experience at this location, me and my best friend stopped in to get piercings! I got my other nostril pierced by the awesome lady in the shop and my friend got her industrial done by the male in the shop! Very friendly and nice, although my piercing bled more than I expected everything turned out good plus the prices were great!! ❤️ definitely recommend!

I absolutely enjoyed my experience at Black Lotus! The shop was very clean and every single artist was graciously inviting. Chelsea was the individual who tattooed me when I went a little over a month ago. At this point, everything healed up pretty well and Im already pitching to go in for another tattoo. I went in to get my tragus repierced & I also got a flat piercing done! I absolutely love it & very happy with my piercings! They did an amazing job & very friendly too! Black Lotus is the hands down BEST tattoo parlor in town. Chelsea is absolutely amazing. She has done several tattoos on myself and my son and my husband and each and every one have been awesome. One of the cleanest well kept shops in the area! As soon as you walk in you feel like family. All of my tattoos (aside from one) are from two of the artists at black lotus. Chelsea is my go to, her art is absolutely incredible and she’s super respectful and pays attention to the clients needs of water, breaks, and pain levels. Everyone there is very professional. I recently got my daith pierced as well by Jason and he was super knowledgeable and professional in the process, very to the point and explained the process and aftercare.I highly recommend this tattoo shop if you are looking for people who know what they are doing and will treat you well. They are busy, which is a great sign of their work, so be sure to make an appointment or call ahead.

This was my very first tattoo and tattoo experience! Chelsea was absolutely amazing with creating my tattoo but also with making me feel comfortable during my experience there. The whole atmosphere at Black Lotus is amazing and you can tell they really care about their customers. My husband and I are both happy customers and will be returning for another tattoo!

Worst piercing experience I’ve ever had. The female piercer couldn’t push the needle all the way through my nostril on the first try and if she’s an apprentice she did not let me know before hand she just said she’s not as quick as the male piercer that works there.

My daughter had her ears pierced, very professional, and my daughter, only 7 years old, was very comfortable. I believe the awesome woman that pierced her ears was the owner, I would strongly recommend as she was AWESOME!!

I visited this shop because I seen decent reviews. Went in and it was clean super friendly. However I have been getting tattoos for well over 12 years. The artist that I got is newer he went to deep on parts of the tattoo. The artist immediately went in defense mode and asked how I did after care. I have more detailed and more colored tattoos then what I received here. I never had a healing problem or aftercare. Be careful who you get because its better to have a artist that can admit their mistakes and take care of you rather getting one thats so defensive over their mistake that they cant take the criticism to help improve their work.

I got my nose pierced about 3 months ago and they did a WONDERFUL job, it was quick and easy. I have a fear of needles so they did a great job at keeping the needle hidden the entire process, I didnt even see it until after my piercing was already done. I highly recommend them!!! I will also be coming back for more piercing AND tattoos!

I went here a long time ago to get my naval pierced and was incredibly nervous as anyone could be before a piercing. My piercer- I dont remember his name- felt the need to make jokes at my expense to my friend and sister, which made my experience incredibly uncomfortable. I dont see myself ever coming back here because of that. I couldnt imagine sitting with him for any length of time longer than what it takes to get a piercing. Maybe some day piercers will realize they need to act a little professional just like any other person at their job should.

Recently had my nostril pierced here. (Mildly long)Everyone here is so professional and friendly! What an atmosphere compared to Fat Katz!! I had been going to Fat Katz for a couple years for piercings and Black Lotus IS the place to go to.Jayson was doing my new nostril piercing (mine healed over due to having to remove for cesarean) and my previous experience was not that great!! Jayson was very precise and I experienced almost NO pain from his technique and to be totally honest: very much in a better spot than the old one! The first time I did it, the piercer even poked the inside of my nose with the needle when piercing me but NOT jayson! It’s barely sore and already healing well. And now observing the jewelry, this one is a better fit for my nose than the previous stud used in my first piercing when it was done.I will continue to go here for all my future piercing/tattoo requests.Just for reference: Jayson informed me that he has been tattooing for 21 years and piercing for 15 years!

I had a blast with the Black Lotus team yesterday. They fit me in after another place left me high and dry just hours before my scheduled appointment that I had set for 2 months. All I wanted was a tattoo for my birthday and they made it happen for me and its Beautiful! It means a lot to me that they did this.

We called in, got a consult that night, and were booked for the next day. The shop was super clean, all the artists were willing to talk even if they werent YOUR artist, and their artists are very talented. Would 100% recommend

My piercer was extremely kind and funny. I went in with another girl and we both got ours done at the same time. It was only $35 for each one. And the solution to heal them (you dont have to get it) is $11 for a small and $15 for a big one. When I get my piercings I tend to feel sick. I had to lay down and take a minute because I was going to pass out after she was done and during this time she kept talking to me about how to make it better and looked out for me to make sure I was okay and safe. We did not need an appointment we just walked in and they were kind. :) Btw if you want to get your nose done just do it. Its like 5/10 on pain and it stopped hurting after about 45 minutes and a few hours later it does not hurt at all.

Always professional, and super helpful. They will never lead you the wrong direction and will always answer any questions you may have. Overall a wonderful place to get that artwork you’ve been dying to get on your skin.
