I have been going to this office for over a year to have regular vein treatments. My experience has always been good until today. It seems to be a very different office today. I was told dr. Seltzer had sold the business and that my treatment would now be almost twice as much money as it had been even though Ive been a regular faithful patient. I was told I would not be given the usual pain medication I had received that helped to make this treatment tolerable, because there was not a doctor present. I decided to leave without having my treatment. I am looking for a new place to have my work completed

Dr. Seltzer is a genius! He helped me out when no other doctor could! He knows so much about new procedures and technology and what works best for you based on your skin and history. Hes not afraid to be aggressive if its required for treatment.Ive seen several dermatologists and he is hands down the number 1 guy in this field! He saved my life and helped me deal with the pain and embarrassment of dealing with this horrible acne Ive endured for most of my life. He is what other doctors should aspire to be!

My experience with Dr. Robert B. Seltzer office is terrible. I was referred by another doctor to this office for skin consultation . My main concern is one light brown spot on my left side face, but doctor used liquid nitrogen spray on my right side middle face and created a big dark spot there, and said to test if it will remove a freckle there which I didnt notice it at all. He told me the dark spot will go away in one month. Because I was referred by another doctor, so I put my trust to him . But after one month the dark spot still there, I called his office and an office assistant told me that is the reason why we told you that you need to come back for a laser treatment. The initial treatment is $500. I was scared, the doctor created a new problem on my face, then ask me come back to use another treatment to remove it , how can I know if they are going to generate more problems. I didn’t go again and hope this dark spot will go away over the time, so far 5 months has past, the dark spots still there, I called office many times and left messages during their business hours, but so far nobody returned my calls. This doctor treated a lady’s face so careless and roughly, and how he could become a skin specialist. Hope everyone think it over before you choose this office.

Ive had skin issues for the vast majority of my life, dermatitis and acne mostly. I say HAD, because now I do not, and I owe it all to Dr. Seltzer. The doctor and his staff are extremely helpful and friendly. I do not have insurance, but Dr. Seltzer goes above and beyond by helping me save money with free samples. I always feel welcome, and in good professional hands. Valerie is also extremely helpful and knowledgeable. So if youre looking, let me do you huge a favor by telling you to stop, because youve found the right doctor. He has absolutely earned my highest recommendation, I mean that sincerely.

Horrible experience!!!As a new patient I expect the Dr to discuss options, not going straight to the knife and want to star cutting my skin. Thats exactly what this Dr was doing, an I stop him by saying I need to think about it in regard to the procedure he was just about to do.I told him . He didnt seem to Happy with my decision. On top of that, hes Assistant was Sooooooo freaking RUDE! !!And CONDESCENDING!!! with her remarks, and never Apologized when I brought it to her attention. I dont know about the rest of the Staff, but definitely His Assistant is someone who stop me from coming back...unfortunately there is anyone to complain about it. Besides the DR but hes not interested in whats going on in the place he gave me an appointment to comback ,but thats not gonna happen. Think twice if you want to try these Butcher ! For some people might work, but didnt work for me . It was my first time first impression.

I have been going to Dr. Seltzer for 26 years, whenever I have a medical issue, and hes wonderfully knowledgeable about non-invasive aesthetic procedures, too. I travel over an hour to see him, because he is caring and skilled, and I trust him to take great care and recommend the best treatment for my needs. I recommend him very highly!

One of my children had cystic acne and as an adolescent I brought him in to see Dr Seltzer. Today he is 32 years old and his face is beautiful. He has no scarring and never did. Dr Seltzer is amazing!

I went to see Dr. Seltzer about 2 years ago for the removal of dark spots on the face. He recommended some kind of heat treatment that I ended up doing, because I trusted him being the expert.Wrong. When I walked out of the treatment, I looked like a lobster and after spending thousands(!) of dollars on what he had advised, NOTHING had changed on the blemishes on my face. What a waste of time and money. Avoid.

Dr. Seltzer hastily cut and removed an entire mole without a informing me that he was going to remove the entire mole and without notification that it would leave a horrific scar on my upper arm. Dr. Seltzer said he as going to take a small sample of the mole--not total removal. If you want to risk scarring for life, Dr. Setlzer is the dermatologist for you.

Dr. Seltzer is amazing – he’s been my dermatologist for 13 years – and a special yelp award for Camille Gillon RN BSN – she has been masterful in helping reduce and ultimately rid me of Rosacea through laser treatments – I feel much more secure in both my personal and business life! I think their reasonably priced and the entire office is extremely helpful and welcoming!

If I could give this office 0 stars I would. Both my husband and I visited this office together. A few weeks later we both got billed different amounts for questionable charges we didnt understand. I tried calling the billing office and the office reception number a dozen times, sent emails, left multiple voicemails and not one call back. We didnt want to pay the bill until we understood exactly what the charges were since they made no sense. We got no response only pay or will be sent to collections in the mail multiple times. How hard is it to call a patient back to go through the charges. We both just had to pay the bill to avoid being sent to collections. Who knows how many times this office has gotten away with this, taking advantage of patients with threats of ruining their credit.

I was recommended to Dr. Seltzer for a series of Fraxel treatments of which I was very pleased with the results. In the process he helped me with some subcutaneous issues that could have been very serious. He and his staff were very attentive with all of the procedures. I highly this practice.

I went in for a small procedure a few weeks back and the staff and the doctor were amazing, it was quick it took only about 10 minutes and within two days I can see the are starting to heal, it’s been about three weeks now and I am completely healed and feel great! I have been wanting to remove this mole from my jaw line for years and I am absolutely satisfied with the results

I had a small bump on my arm. I went in to have it removed. Dr Seltzer is just amazing. I didnt feel anything, they sent the growth to biopsy and it came back benign. The location and staff is great. Thank you

This review is not for the Dr. but for the office staff. The woman I spoke to was passive aggressive about a payment question I had. I tried calling back a moment later because I forgot to ask one more thing. Someone picked up the line and hung up on me twice. The third time, they let the phone ring until they finally picked up and didn’t say a word to me. They just kept the phone off the hook to get me to stop calling. Completely unprofessional and makes me wonder about this place’s integrity.

Dr Seltzer is gone. No one answers the phone. People are inside but no one answers the door. No notice to patients. Finding a new dermatologist.

Dr Rob is a consummate professional. Always takes the extra time to explain the procedures, medications etc., which I really appreciate. Id highly recommend him to anyone.

My family and I have been going to Dr Seltzers practice for over 10 years. He is the best along with his friendly and courteous staff!

I love this Doc! His staff is wonderful, he is very professional and pleasant. His procedures were virtually painless for me and insurance covered everything!

Dr. Seltzer is very knowledgeable and helped me with my hair loss problem. He knew just how to help me.

Best Derm Clinic in Pasadena and all of Los Angeles. If I can give more then 5 stars, I would.
