The shop has a wonderful atmosphere, and our artists were both amazing! My husband and I were both tattooed by Ellen and Casie respectively on a trip back home to Philly. We are both very happy with our new art, and we both have plans to come again for more on our next trip, rather than get anything done where we live in Upstate NY. Highly recommend!!! ❤️

I am art is one of the cleanest & best shops Ive ever dealt with! They are professional, clean & do excellent art! Ive gotten a memorial tattoo done in memory of my mom and 2 others that have meaning for myself! All came out better than I imagined & their prices were excellent! I highly recommend them!

I got my first large tattoo done by Casie and have never gone to anyone else since. She made me feel extremely comfortable given the intimate/unusual surface area of my tattoo. Great conversation and exceptional work. She even convinced me to add some color as I was nervous about it not looking right on my skin but it turned out amazing. I was and still am so happy with my results and even though I no longer live in the area I’ve gone back to get two additional rats done by her. I am always willing to travel home to get tatted by my favorite artist 🙌🏾

Exceptionally talented staff, and extremely clean shop! Staff are all professional and highly trained. The pigment trays were obviously brand new, the needles were straight from sealed packaging, and the equipment and shop were freshly sterilized. I watched the ongoing sterilization this shop does between clients too. You can feel completely confident in the cleanliness of this shop, and in the superior talent and skill of the artists. VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! 5☆s!

I loved my experience at I Am Art! Its a super clean and inviting space. The receptionist was friendly. I didnt make an appointment and only had limited time before I had somewhere to be. I was reluctant on staying but I was in and out. The tattoo artist was great, very meticulous! I will definitely be a returning customer!

This tattoo shop is one of the best shops ever been to in Philly. My tattoo artist is V and she The sweetest person you ever meet and such a good artist.I never got my tattoos done from the other girls but I can say that they respect all their clients and make sure their clients are satisfied with their work. Not only that this tattoo shop is all females.You never get to see many tattoo shops that runs by all strong independent woman. And that makes me happy as a client to see that woman can do anything. I definitely will recommend this tattoo shop to anyone who is looking to have a good time and to get work done. Both Angie’s are great! I was greeted immediately after walking in by the receptionist up front. Everything went very smoothly and the piercer took her time on my piercing and explaining the aftercare instructions. Jenna was awesome when speaking to me about my tattoo and also made me feel welcomed. No one rushed me and everyone was absolutely amazing. Very professional and prices are great! I will definitely recommend this shop to all my close friends and family.

I walked in and instantly was greeted promptly. The level of confidence and professionalism Angie showed was simply amazing. I was so nervous about getting my piercing. But her energy was so reassuring that I calmed down within the first few minutes. She did a phenomenal Job! I am so happy and beyond pleased with her skills and work , and she was fast. This is definitely not your average tattoo shop. My sister and I went here because we saw the specials online and found they were the cheapest in the area. We were not expecting such a phenomenal experience for the prices they had. Not only did the front desk lady greet us with such positive energy, but all the artist were welcoming and super knowledgeable. They helped me decide what tattoo I should get without making me feel rushed. Both the piercer and tattoo artist were extremely thorough with their aftercare instructions and had super soft hands. The shop itself is very clean, has a cool vibe, and so much funky artwork everywhere. I definitely recommend this shop!

Such a great staff. I have a few tats but I’m still kind of bad at getting them I always feel embarrassed when I react to the pain. They ARE SO KIND! No shaming just chatty friendly keeping you positive as they work. And my tat looks killer! Great spot.

Great shop! I felt comfortable while I was there and everything was very relaxed. This wasnt my first tattoo but one of the bigger ones Ive gotten. Made sure I was at ease and stopped for breaks if I needed it. Clean, professional and super sweet.

It was amazing experience! I got done a navel piercing and nipples one, Angie was very fast and professional, she answered all of my questions and helped me to feel comfortable although I was very scared at the begging. I got my appointment the same days which is another pros! The price for both of my piercing was very attractive too. Def recommended

Stopped in to get a tattoo today , had a great experience. They are very friendly and patient (as me and my sister were very indecisive)! . I got 3 small hand tatts for a great price . Also must say I LOVE the privacy setup they have , each artist has their own semi-secluded area! Can’t wait to go back and get more along with piercings !

I came across this spot off Instagram. I reached out to Elle to get a Mandala Tattoo on my shoulder. She is so artistic and very talented the final sketch was better than the image I presented to her. I strongly recommend this place for your ink session. Came in to get my nosed pierced and had the pleasure of getting it done by the owner Angie. I had some reservations (because I’m hella afraid of needles) but wow did she do an amazing job. Not only did she finish me in what seemed like a flash but it legit was so not painful. The shop was so cute too and the staff were all super welcoming and professional!! Now if I can only work up the nerve to get my nips done😅.

Staff and facilities are welcoming and clean. Full of incredible artists with great dispositions and respectful in their discourse. I am very displeased with the negative reviews recently that are quite obviously a campaign to discourage people from visiting. Please dont be dissuaded. Your visions can come to fruition here.

One of the best tattoo shops in Philly hands down!! Patient with helping me realizing my tattoo dream 😅 and the execution is phenomenal. Better than the other tattoos that Ive gotten in Baltimore. So it was worth the hour drive 😂. Ill definitely be back, I have a few more ideas

I got over 30 tattoos and I can say the one I got today from V has to be my favorite. I’ve been to plenty tattoo shops and this tattoo shop has to be the best. They’re very clean and most importantly, they’re following all Covid precautions. All the artist are respectful and very welcoming. Growing up in the area, I think this was a great addition. As a skilled artist, it is difficult to give yourself to your art. As a tattoo artist, it is even trickier waters to navigate. Her work is beautiful, and has clean lines. A very talented artist and has handled herself beyond reproach in this day and age of chaos. You could not find a better artist.

I had the pleasure of getting my tattoo done from V . It was very pleasant and she did a great job . It was a great atmosphere , great conversation. Let me just start off by saying, I LOVE this place. It’s such a cool and chill place to go and get piercing and tattoos. The staff is SUPER nice and welcoming as soon as you come in. I got my double helix pierced and it was probably the quickest and relaxing experience ever. I hate needles and always end up complaining and whining that it’s going to hurt and everyone there just kept me calm and made me laugh while I got it done making me forget about the needle. The girls are super friendly and i would highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking to get a new piercing or tattoo. I will definitely be back soon!

Loved it!!!The piercing was fast (and a bit painful Ofcourse)I’ve gotten pieced by Angie before and she was great before as well. I went during a time that the shop wasn’t super busy so I got seen very quickly. She knows what she is doing and will tell you if the piercings you want will hold up on your body.

I’ve gotten four piercings done for their “buy one get one free” special and the piercer is very professional and welcoming. She even gave me an aftercare sheet with her business card attached just Incase I have any questions and concerns which no other piercing I went to has done. Lastly the shop is very clean and stylish! Definitely will be revisiting.

I came for a trip to Philly and wanted to leave with something audacious for me (septum ring) - after researching online for women POC piercer, I came across Angie. She was professional, kind, and an amazing person to talk to. Her dedication and love for what she does exudes in the walls of this space. They are super precautious and clean as it relates to COVID. You wont regret any service you get done here... I am already thinking when I come back, how I need to get tatted. All the ladies there are boss at what they do!P.S. Any negative reviews are bots who have never stepped into this haven of a place.

It was my first time getting my piercing so I was kind of nervous I walked in said how you doing Happy New Year lady at the desk said happy new years how are you doing what are you looking to get done today I would like to get my nose pierced today she said no problem ID please and went over the paperwork with me once were all done the girl Angie up and said Im going to do the piercing for you how you doing I said great Im kind of nervous but Great she said no need to be nervous I wont take no more than 5 minutes you probably just experienced some tear drops in a little pinch and believe me that it was quick the tears was falling but they was different type of Tears they was tears of joy so she gave me a napkin for my tears of joy so I wipe the tears is she went over the paperwork thoroughly with me told me the right things to buy explain would be experience and the things I should not experience I was the last customer and my nose ring is wonderful oh yeah they gave me a nice bag with candy and Bubbles and a discount for the next time I come Ill bring somebody thanks for the good experience I will see you lady soon

Her work is amazing! She also has a right to refuse to tattoo a piece she is uncomfortable tattooing. Just because she refused to tattoo a “Blue Lives Matter” piece does NOT mean she is anti-police. Shame on y’all for trying to ruin someone’s career over something so minuscule.

I found out about I Am Art via Instagram. I had the pleasure of coming to this parlor for my first tattoo ever. My friend and I went for the Friday the 13th deals. The vibe the ladies created was very nice and welcoming. They even had pizza and cute little gift bags in celebration of their grand opening. Overall, it was all just a chill, good experience; Especially for my first tattoo.P.S. really love that this parlor is all women ran & LGBTQIA+ friendly.

Me and my sister decided to get our nose pierced. Over all great experience. Fast, and simple. They explained everything to us that was needed. Great environment, the vibe is great. Would definitely go back.

Trust me. However you feel about their opinions you want a tattoo artist with the integrity to turn down wlrk they arent comfortable doing. You arent hiring a naby sitter. Youre hiring someone to put a big as scar on your arm.
