This place is amazing. The staff is beyond professional and friendly. They are incredibly knowledgeable about their art/profession. I’ve been to a couple of sketchy places walked in and out. Not this place. It is clean and bright. Amazing vibes!!! Me and my daughter got multiple piercings and because Mellow our favorite piercer was magical friendly and awesome. Beautiful soul. I took my 81 year old mother there to get second piercing in ears. She was comfortable and very happy with surroundings and our favorite piercer Mellow.Thank you so much for your kindness caring and professionalism!!!! Will be getting tattoos in the future. By Aubrie can’t wait!!!!

I had a belly button piercing today done with Mellow. She was the sweetest and very patient with me! I was afraid of the pain but she helped calm me down. There was another sweet girl I THINK named Aubrey. Nice place inside too. Great service with everyone, would def recommend this place !!✍🏼

I randomly popped into tattoo Republic just to get some jewelry for my philtrum. Mellow hooked me up. The shop is super chill & Mellow was so helpful & sweet that Ive gone back twice so far to see her for a tooth gem & high nostril piercings. Both Im so stoked on. One of the best tattoo experiences I’ve ever had, I have 11 tattoos from many different places, but this was the best experience! Came from out of state and found this gem of a place, Aubrei is great at what she does and the rest of the staff were friendly too from the time I stepped in all the way to the end. You can tell they are serious about their skill and want to make sure it’s exactly what you’re looking for. 10/10 definitely recommend and will be back next time I’m in town.

This is getting 1 stars because of a recent experience. Aubrei is phenomal and such a gem and this review will exclude her.I came in on Sunday the 14th to get my tragus done by Mellow. Everything went fine with getting the piercing itself. However, the next day it would not stop bleeding. I walked in to a different shop dripping as blood was pooling in to my hands. I have over 13 piercings and this has not once happened to me. When the person came to look at my ear she told me three things were wrong with it. 1. It was pierced too deep in my ear. 2. it could be possibly pierced through a vein. 3. It was pierced through the natural flex point in the face which causes the wound to reopen every time the face flexes.In the end I had to take the piercing out because it could not be saved and was not worth saving. And now the owner of the shop is saying once it’s healed he can repierce it but no money back because “people have been taking advantage of it.” I’m sorry I’m taking advantage of the fact that my piercing was done incorrectly?I have included a photo and you can see on my other jewelry dried blood from when it was dripping.

Went in without an appointment to get my Tragus pierced. My piercer was Mellow, she was super friendly and professional. I loved my experience and felt very welcomed. Highly recommend Mellow if you need a piercing.

I had gotten my septum done by Aubrei on 7/13 and she did beautifully with talking me through it and amazing results. I had gone in again for a new spike that fell out and aubrei was able to accommodate me and let alone when i asked for a quick consult after, She had Mellow. Another wonderful piercer, she had no issue helping me switch out my Labret jewelry right away. I AM IN LOVE with how it turned out, these gals and their crew inside are amazing and I would recommend them over and over.

Brought my teen daughter to have her ears pierced for the first time. She ended up being very anxious and changed her mind. Aubrey was SO patient with her and explained everything and didnt make her feel pressured at all or bad about her decision to not get her ears pierced. Well definitely return when shes ready, and I highly recommend Aubrey for kids/teens piercings!

Mellow is great, i’ve walked in and been able to get multiple piercings, nose and additional jewelry changes. Fair priced, friendly, she changed what i wanted to gold for the look i wanted. I go back often.

I had a piercing done somewhere else and it was way too tight and swelling. I came here to have the jewelry changed and I saw Mellow. She was so friendly and very gentle cleaning it and changing it out. Ill come to see her next time for piercings!

Kham was my artist and she was AMAZING!! Super friendly and professional. It was so easy to sit with her during my floral session which took a couple hours. She was attentive and made sure I was comfortable the entire time!! I am hands down coming back!! Shop was also really clean and the staff was super friendly loved it

Mellow was great she done my nose and ear piercings today, she was very quick and professional. I would recommend her to anyone wanting to get piercings done.

I was fairly intimidated to get my first tattoo and found that Tattoo Republic immediately put me at ease. The overall aesthetic of the shop is sleek and classy with unexpected touches like live plants creating an elevated boutique vibe. Staff were super welcoming /approachable. It felt very clean and like the artists were all extra thoughtful about sterility and professionalism. They spent time going over aftercare info with me and had products on site to help with the healing process. I am over the moon about my first thigh piece and know I’ll be back for more. Holly was absolutely amazing. Friendly, professional, and a great tattoo artist (plus she had awesome music playing.) She did a wonderful job recreating my mom’s handwriting for me and also did some touch ups on old tattoos. I will definitely go back!

So, I decided I wanted to get my first tattoo. I’d been following @kham_ink on IG for a while and fell in love with her work. It was time, and I went for it. She is trained for limiting the spread of bloodborne pathogens, not something all AZ tattoo artists have. Very important to me as I have a family and want to be smart/careful about those I work with. Well, this totally showed. Her shop and space were very clean. She wore gloves, had a system, and was very careful about what she placed were. Now, on to the tattoo. She heard me out. Then she gave me suggestions. She was honest in sharing what would work and what wouldn’t. I appreciated that. She drew up a few sizes, very quickly and easily I had some options to choose from. And, did I mention, that I love my tattoo? She did a fantastic job and I’d go back in a heartbeat.

Got a tattoo since by Rico and he did the best job! This place is awesome, picked up some cool new body jewelry while I was there too! Thank you tattoo republic!!

Been to this shop twice in a few weeks to get my Tragus jewelry put in. (I already had it pierced.) both times, it’s fallen out the same day. When I went the second time I brought my own jewelry and they still charged me. Not worth it to go here. They seem to not know what they’re doing, and they don’t make it right with customers when they’ve done less than a good job.

Holly is literally the sweetest and most genuine person! She’s super quick to reply, get you booked and see you. She wasted no time getting to work and having things ready by the time I came in. This was my first tattoo and she talked me through the whole thing and constantly checked in on how I was feeling. I’ll definitely be going back for more! Everyone in the shop is super nice too. Please check them out and book! 🖤

At 60 I went in today to get my ears pierced. While nervous about the process, Clarence greeted me with a smile, and was most pleasant as he walked me thru the piercing. He also included my mother-in-law in the experience by inviting her to come back with us. I am so glad that I finally made the appointment and was lucky to have Clarence pierce my ears. Thorough, helpful, and calming the whole time, Clarence has great customer care. Thanks!

It was my brothers and Is first time getting our ears pierced and Gigi did great! She was informative of what to expect had us focus on our breathing and was able to do same day appointments, we will definitely be back for future piercings and tattoos. I went here Friday to get my snakebites. After a couple of days, I realized the swelling on my lip hasn’t gone down one tiny bit. I went to modern mods to get it checked since it’s a closer drive, and they told me not only that it looks concerning but also the bars were too short. I got a longer bar on the left, but on my right they said the piercer accidentally pierced my lip instead of the dot where she was suppose to! Being told this, I realized how it did look uneven and when the right side was pierced on Friday it hurt way more than my left out of nowhere. I do not know if this will leave a bad scar, but regardless this is pretty disappointing. Not sure if they do refunds, but I’m just too upset to go back. Please double check, maybe even triple check that you are gonna pierce EXACTLY where you dotted.

Had an awesome experience getting my piercings here! Clarence did a really good job. He made me feel super comfortable and made pretty painful piercings painless. Definitely would recommend him for any of your future piercings!

I have had so many issues with my piercing from this shop and paid extra every visit there to try to save it but it looks like I will have to go elsewhere and just have it removed. Kinda sad about it

I’m in Arizona for the week visiting my mother in law, we decided we wanted to get tattoos done while we were here. I found this shop and made an appointment online, spoke with holly via text and she was super helpful with any questions I had. I had this done by Holly today, excellent customer service everyone was friendly and helpful. Clean shop and great technique. My mother in law had some pieces added to her back tattoo, Danny did a phenomenal job, both are very talented artists.I’ll definitely be returning when I’m in the area again!

I got pierced by Clarence today and I couldnt have asked for a more comfortable experience. He was very informative and knowledgeable plus he was quick, so I wont say I didnt feel a thing, but I think it was a lot less painful than it may have been with a less experienced piercer. I am already thinking about going back.

I had the best experience the other day at Tattoo Republic!! First of all, the kindness and general vibe in this shop is unmatched. I wanted a nose piercing but I was nervous because my skin tends to keloid but after meeting with Melanie, she was able to explain to me how to properly care for it in order to have the best recovery for my skin and man I am so happy with the results. She was patient and kind and made me feel comfortable. I took her advice and it healed so good!! I absolutely love it! 10/10 Thank you Melanie for taking care of me!

I recently got my bridge piercing done by Clarence. The piercing was pretty much painless and went super smoothly. One of the best piercing experiences I’ve ever had, and I will definitely be back in the future for more!

Very clean and professional staff, Mellow was a charm, she took her time to explain proper aftercare, offered to write it down for me, removed my old nipple piercings and replaced them with quality titanium bars according to my nipple width. I came in with pain from the jewelry I was wearing and she did an amazing job removing, cleaning and re installing quality jewelry. I will definitely be back.

Dropped in while visiting from out state to get my long awaited first piercing(belly button). Ended up leaving with not only the piercing but my first tattoo as well. Holly and Mellow are amazing!

I got my first ever tattoo from Holly. When we first started, she wasn’t happy I was using numbing cream. Rather than rescheduling the appointment if it had truly been an issue, we finished the tattoo, and it looked great.That was until a week later, and I noticed it was blowing out. After messaging her for help, she got defensive, blamed me for using numbing cream (which she was 100% aware of before she started the tattoo), and provided zero help or assistance. She never even offered to look at the tattoo. I decided to stop communicating with her given her rudeness and lack of professionalism.A couple months later, I went in to get the blowout fixed by a laser. The blowout is extremely noticeable. The dermatologist there even said that blaming the blowout on numbing cream was the most ridiculous thing they had ever heard.Overall I wouldn’t have been this upset had she tried to help and provide options rather than blame me and put me off from ever wanting to get another tattoo. Holly was unprofessional and lacked any kind of decency. Absolutely would not recommend getting a tattoo from Holly.

Got my nose & 3rd ear lobe pierced by Alex and he did amazing! Super quick and extremely professional! He made the experience extremely comfortable, considering i was so nervous! To top it off they have a piercing shop right next door and its sooo cool! Definitely coming back to get pierced by Alex again!

Ive been coming here for a bit to get my earlobes gauged by Mellow. Shes amazingly kind, patient, and knowledgeable about her craft. Shes also helped me swap out jewelry in my facial piercings and has always been so supportive. She really is the best!

I have gotten 3 tattoos done here by both Holly and Mike. They both have done an incredible job. Hilly did a small constellation and a word tattoo for me. Her job was very fine which made the tattoos look very delicate.I am currently working with Mike doing a big piece on my back that is full of flowers, animals, and landscapes inside the map of my home country. We have not finished it yet but so far it looks absolutely stunning. I cannot wait to have it finished.Both Holly and Mike have been very easy to work with. Their front staff is also very nice. The store overall is very clean and clutter free. It is definitely a very comfortable environment. Would recommend to anybody.

I came here to get my nose and ears pierced and the service was great and quick. It was a walk in and I didn’t have to wait. A young lady (didn’t get her name🤦🏾‍♂️) helped me and she was great and nice and super professional. This was a great experience! I requested a piercing above my tragus and it was not painful. The piercing technician made sure I felt comfortable throughout the entire experience. They were frequently checking in and making sure I knew what was going on. The entire team provided an easy check-in and check-out process. I will be returning for a tattoo when I have more time on my hands :)

I just moved to the area and stopped in for a nose piercing with tex, it was such an amazing atmosphere. While i was getting my nose pierced i saw Mike doing a drawing for an upcoming client and just wow such amazing work! Everyone there was so welcoming and my piercing was done in no time! It took all of 20 minutes and didn’t hurt at all! On a scale of 1-10, 10 being the worst pain ever, it was probably a 2-3. Would definitely recommend!

They accomodate for walk-ins. This was my second time visiting AZ and really wanted to memorialize my time here so I got a cactus tattoo. The artist did a really great job and his line work is amazing! Im only giving 4 stars as I was really taken back that my piece costed me $250

Mike Bruno has done numerous Tattoos for both my spouse and myself. He is the only artist in the valley we get tattoos from! His art portfolio (prior tattoos) speaks volumes for how incredible his artwork really is. My spouse has two almost full sleeves. I have a large shoulder piece, as well as a large piece of art on my calf muscle. From original art to cover up pieces, or portrait Art, Mike is….. well, we think he’s the best. His attention to detail with safe sanitary tattoos is exceptional, and is one of the reasons why he has been our ONLY TRUSTED Tattoo artist for over 15 years. If your needing a great piece of art tattooed, look no further than Mike! You’ll be glad you found such a good artist!

This was such an amazing place to get my tattoo done, 10/10 would recommend to anyone. It was such an amazing vibe, the dude in the front was very outgoing had a whole conversation with us while we waited for our artists to be ready, our artists themselves were phenomenal, did our tattoos the exact way we wanted, made sure place meant was well fit, and were so fast, it was a great experience. I will 110% be returning for my next tattoo endeavors.

I went in to get my nipples pierced and nervous is an understatement. Fortunately my experience was a 10/10. The staff made me feel very comfortable and the shop was really clean. It’s been a few weeks and I’m already healed. I definitely recommend Tattoo Republic!

I got my third ear lobe piercing there and it went fantastically. I was in and out within 15 minutes, it was very sanitary, the venue was cool and the piercing artist Mellow was very thorough in making sure the placement was where I wanted.

This is such an amazing place! I got my septum done here and it was such a great experience. The place was clean and the workers were so friendly. They explained things to me when I asked questions. They sterilized everything before they used it and they pierced my septum so quickly it was great. 10/10 I will definitely go there again if I ever get pierced again, I highly recommend this establishment.

Came in to get some emergency jewelry for my Medusa and they were able to help me with picking out the right jewelry and installing it. The main piercer was out so I was helped by the back up piercer, who I can’t remember the name of, but was so chill, polite, and patient with me.

The staff was very nice, but the tattoo artist wouldn’t make my tattoo as small as I asked (even though it was possible, I saw many pictures online), and the tattoo turned out full of imperfections

Terrible service, I went in for my piercing, they took forever and when they finally got to me the guy was short (unfriendly) and my piercing came out crooked. Needless to say I took it out. Wont be going back there.
