MHP Creations Body Piercing

I’ve had all my piercings done at MHP and have loved every interaction I had. The first time I came in I wanted helixes on both sides, and Matt took the time to explain why that’s not advisable. Since then I’ve gotten 3 helixes, 4 additional lobes, a conch, a daith and a tragus pierced there, and have not had any issues. I also get all of my replacements there as well. Every time I get complimented on my piercing I always direct them to Matt. I’m waiting for the latest ones to heel completely, but will be back for more :)

A few years ago, Matt pierced my best friend’s nose and my own. The experience, while painful, was very fun and very quick. Matt is a pillar in the community and has been piercing for many years, so it’s very easy to trust his experience.Recently, we went back in to ask about a variety of piercing questions. My friend asked about their dermal piercings, and he was very honest about not changing them out due to high risk of rejection. I asked him about a septum that I was debating due to high allergies, and he advised not to for the fact that boogers and gunk collect on the rings. Matt cares about YOU, not just your money and what he can make with piercing you.I can’t recommend him enough.

Over the last 10 years, I’ve gotten 8 different ear piercings from Matt! The shop is immaculately clean and Matt is so knowledgeable. All of my piercings have healed perfectly, and I love stopping by to check out the new jewelry selections they have available. I would recommend MHP to anyone looking to get a piercing or change out existing jewelry.

Great place for a first-time piercing of my 80 year old ear lobe. It was a quick walk-in recommended by my heavily tattooed nephew whose opinion i thoroughly respect. I particularly appreciated his explanation about using only titanium earring posts because he has never heard of any allergic problems because of titanium.He was also understanding about my need for him to speak more slowly to accommodate my deafness (something I ask nearly every person under 40🥸.)

Honestly not very happy. I wanted to get my nape pierced. For some reason, the guy did everything in his power to not do the piercing. Then I proceeded to buy nipple jewelry (even for surgical steel, it was INCREDIBLY overpriced…double any prices I’ve seen but I needed it ASAP). I asked if the piercer would put them in, he said no. I said can I pay to have them put in, he said no. I’m still trying to figure out what the purpose of this establishment is, besides selling overpriced body jewelry. I have 3 piercings I’m looking to get, but absolutely not going back. Looking for suggest around the Plymouth, MA area…

My first time coming to this piercing place (my first was done at Claire’s). Matt was very personable and nice! I got two lobe piercings done and it was so quick! He was very transparent about what he was doing throughout the whole process and kept everything very clean and sterile!I would definitely recommend coming to this establishment and will definitely be coming back for any other of the piercing needs!If I could give more than 5 stars I would :)10/10 would definitely recommend!!!!!

Personally wouldn’t go back. I got a flat helix piercing and it was totally messed up. The guy peircing and his wife talked about how great they were but pierced my ear at an angle so the what was suppose to be flat was literally sticking at an angle. Spent $90 and had to take out 2 1/2 month later after confirming with another shop it was messed up and to let it go.

I took my 15 year old daughter to get her ear pierced. The shop was incredibly clean. Many choices for earrings. The people that work there are super friendly and professional. I would recommend this place to everyone.

I am 15 years old. I had my middle ear lobe pierced. The employees were very nice, it was very clean, quick and easy, bunch of options for the earrings. I would definitely go back!

My son and I visited today for him to get a few ear piercings. I highly suggest this business. They are very professional, 100 percent sanitary. Im happy to see they havent changed at all since I got piercings here. Still highly cautious about cleanliness! I wouldnt ever go anywhere else. I trust this people with any piercings my family chooses to get!

Visited this shop for the first time today after many recommendations from friends. The woman at the counter was absolutely wonderful as she explained the piercing process and aftercare. She called my nerves immediately and made great conversation during my short wait.Matt was kind, professional, and so informative. I wanted my nipples pierced and was worried about awkwardness - instead I was completely comfortable the entire time. He uses sterile materials and the best quality metal. Getting pierced was quick and not too painful! Absolutely wonderful experience! Two friends and I came for a few piercings on a Sunday afternoon. They were a bit busy but were super patient as we picked out our earrings and piercing locations. I’ve been going here since it was pin cushion and have always felt super comfortable and safe with getting my piercing done here! Matt is an amazing piercer, he even helped me take care of my piercing after I busted it on a roller coaster last year. I love all of his work and every piercing he’s done on me has healed well!

This is the only place I would ever recommend going to for piercings. They are both genuinely good people. His wife is so professional, and welcoming. Matt is like a piercing master. I’ve had almost everything pierced at one point and believe me when I tell you: as a piercer, you have to be physically strong to push that through skin and he has definitely mastered his art. Most recently he’s done my septum and I did not feel it at all. I was really surprised because you’d think it would be painful! I also got tooth gems! I get compliments on both of them constantly. The thing I love most about going to him ( besides the entire experience) is that he will pierce with gold. A lot of places around here won’t. 9 times out of 10 if I’m wearing silver or the surgical steel I will either get an infection or have that allergic response to it. Last but not least: it’s so safe,Clean and welcoming, that I had no problem bringing my 6 year old daughter. And my nickname is “ helicopter mom”, so that should speak volumes !!!

I honestly can’t recommend this business enough. I’ve been going here for almost 2 decades, since I was a teenager (with parental consent and accompanying) and then on my own when I was older. The place is always spotless, everything is always disinfected and wiped down, I never feel anything but safe and protected and never fear germs or infection (this is of upmost importance to me as I am immunocompromised), the piercings are done with precision and care, and the jewelry is always of the highest quality. The owner is also a fine human being of the highest caliber. I’ve gotten to know them personally over the last couple decades and have come to understand the love they have for body piercing and just their passion for the industry and zest for constant learning and implementing of all the latest in safety and health and quality standards. This isn’t just a job or some hobby for them, this is truly a passion and they put their heart and soul into it. I live two hours away now, (more if I get stuck in the usual Boston traffic) but I will still travel down there to get anything done. I would highly recommend it to anyone considering to get their next piercing done here!I’d also like to address the owner by saying: Thanks for being such a wonderful, caring, attentive piercer who creates such a lovely environment and crafts such great experiences for the client! First time visitor to this shop. Super clean. Was welcomed as soon as we entered. Matt was full of information, and put my worries at ease. The process was quick. I think the longest time was picking out my ring/stud...so many options! I will no doubt be back when my piercing has healed and Im ready for a new ring/stud. The woman at the front (sorry forgot your name) was awesome too and was able to provide pros/cons for rings/studs! She was super friendly! I think the pricing was reasonable. Loved that I could pay through venmo. I am so glad I went here and I love my puercing! Thanks Matt and crew!

Everyone was so nice! I got my septum pierced and I think I was in and out within 20 minutes. The person I spoke to explained after care and then the person who did my piercing was very comforting and knew exactly what he was doing. I walked out and everyone commented on how nice it looked on me. Overall a really great experience, I’ll absolutely recommend this place to people in the future

Matt is one of the most outgoing piercers I’ve ever met. Very knowledgeable on any questions you have and clearly knows what he’s doing . I’ve been here multiple times and never had one bad experience like I have had at other shops. I %100 recommend to anyone looking for new piercings or jewelry !

I got two piercings at the beginning of July. The experiment was great and I loved my piercings however I do agree with the one star rating regarding the jewelry that is used. Since I got my piercings both have fallen out at times. One time I noticed it right away and got it back in another time my bra held it in even though the end had fallen off, unfortunately this last time I didn’t notice it had fallen out at night and by the time I did the hole was closed. I paid $200 for these piercings so I was definitely upset about it and now I have to figure out what if I am going to replace it or take the other one out.

Matt has pierced me twice now, and i always recommend to my friends and family. matt’s shop is very clean, super gentle, extremely friendly and informative about the piercings and the cleaning process. i have never been unhappy leaving his shop. 10/10 always!!! recommend!

Got my first nose piercing, and the whole experience was quick and easy. Matt is awesome and was so understanding when I got a little light headed after the piercing (had nothing to do with pain or being uncomfortable, just my own anxiety lol) He gave me water and a lollipop and I felt fine. Super profressional and friendly!

Matt is amazing and there’s not a piercing I got from him that I’m not in love with! He’s great on pricing and gives great discounts. He’s attentive and engages with his customers to give them the best experience possible. He knows the look I want for my piercing and I leave there happy everytime. He’s pierced my double forward helix and conch and it’s perfect and healed without any problem. Not to mention any questions I had he’s always there to answer on instagram ASAP. I originally had my forward helix pierced by pincushion and the piercer there made it so it was not in line and healed horribly. I came to matt to fix it, I had him take those piercings out and repierced and since him I’m so much happier and in love with them, they’re aligned perfectly and healed with no problem and I’m so thankful for him.

I came to get a helix and a rook piercing and it was better than I could have ever anticipated. The entire process was absolutely lovely, painless, and so quick. The price was also so low for two piercings with gorgeous jewelry and great service. Everyone was so kind and it was overall wonderful!!

Was looking for a new shop, and found this one. Soooo glad I did. There’s a huge selection of high quality jewelry, and the place is also super clean! I really liked coming here to get the right side of my nose pierced, very happy I did. Convos were nice, super friendly atmosphere I even stuck around a bit after the piercing to chit chat about tattoos and what not. Totally going back!

Many many issues with a belly piercing. Piercing bled like crazy for 3 days after getting it done. When that healed, the top fell off the ring in the belly button. We reached out to the shop, but they were closed and there are NO EMERGENCY SERVICE OPTIONS. They told us to cover it with a band aid. The ring fell out and still we had to wait, even though they told us it would close if nothing was in it. After 3 days, they opened the store and saw us. by then the piercing was closed (already!) and they wouldnt touch it again. They acted like it was our fault that their faulty belly ring fell apart. So, waste of money. Find another place.

Me and my fiend went in to get piercings done. Staff was extremely friendly and made you feel comfortable. Quality is amazing and cleanliness is very very good. Will definitely go back !!

Don’t bother. You have to wait outside, one person allowed in at a time. Very rude. Ppl are actively trying to pay for services and being turned off and leaving because of lack of waiting area, lack of accommodation. Really off putting that you have to wear a mask… other shops don’t act like this. Go elsewhere. Only open 16 hours a week.

Doesn’t answer the phone. Unable to make appointments. Drove 45 minutes waited a half hour during posted business hours. Shop owner next door felt bad and informed me that they were not there.
