I’ve been seeing Trish regularly since July 2020 when I got my first tattoo ever and she has always done an outstanding job. She makes the experience as quick and as painless as possible while also being super thorough and making sure you’re happy and comfortable throughout the whole process. The shop is clean and the front desk staff is always friendly and helpful. I’ll forever recommend My Little Needle and I’m honored that the first tattoo I ever got is from Trish!

I’ve visiting My Little Needle twice now, once to have my rook jewelry changed by Dylan, and again today for three lobe piercings with Kayla, and had great experiences both times. Dylan is professional, friendly, relaxed, and has great communication, and you can tell that their apprentice Kayla takes after them 100%. I was SO impressed with Kayla’s communication during my piercings. She was so thorough with examining her work and making sure that I got the best result possible, and her professionalism seriously made it such a good experience. I felt nervous because I ended up coming back in afterwards and asking to have one of them repierced a tiny bit lower just for my own aesthetic reasons, but she was so nice and understanding- I can tell she truly wants her clients to have the result they like the most. I’m looking forward to coming back in a few days to get it just how I picture it! (edit: I just got it repierced today and now it’s absolutely perfect, I was clapping my hands and squealing in the car bc I’m so happy with the final result. Thank you so much for having me back, and so soon too!)Overall it was super cool to get pierced by an apprentice and be part of their journey, and I fully recommend getting pierced by Kayla; it’s very obvious that she loves what she’s doing and wants you to love it too. If youre in the plymouth area and looking for a new tattoo, Id give this place a chance.I booked for a tattoo with Melea back in October, and my previous tattoo(different artist) had a not so fun reaction, so I had to pause half-way through and reschedule due to my anxiety. They were incredibly understanding and made the rescheduling process a breeze. Ontop of that, their overall customer service and personability was great. Im 4 days into the healing process now and shes looking absolutely amazing which I think is a testament to Meleas skills.The shop was also clean and presentable and front staff were kind and welcoming. If youre ever looking for a tattoo Id definitely check this place out.

The team at MLNT was fantastic from initial contact through the tattoos I received from Joell. Joell is a very talented artist with significant experience tattooing many styles. She gracefully assisted in narrowing my ideas and answered all my questions and concerns. The pictures are super fresh and my skin was a bit red from the process but I can’t wait to see these tattoos pop to life as it heals. Big thanks again to the staff and Joell in particular!!

I’ve debated leaving this review because I really value the work of artists and I never want to hurt anyone’s reputation. Also, I am happy with the final product, which is the only reason this is not a one-star review. I left with a tattoo that I love. However, my experience also came with a lot of negatives and as such, I will not be booking with Ferg in the future.Things I liked about booking with Ferg:-I was able to book enough in advance to budget and get the time off. I sent Ferg a deposit and secured that date: 7/18/23.-Ferg was open to any ideas I brought to the table and (I thought) very communicative about what I should expect from the appointment (time, price, design, directions, etc.)-The artist checked in about comfort throughout the tattoo appointment and gave me breaks as needed.Things I was unhappy with about my tattoo experience:-The day of my appointment, Ferg asked me to push back the appointment an hour. I agreed. My original appointment was at 12:30pm and it was pushed back to 1:30pm. No biggie, except:-After pushing the appointment back, the artist cancelled the appointment less than an hour before the new appointment time as a result of their lack of communication with the shop. They did not a space to tattoo me. I was already on my way to the appointment.-After rescheduling, the artist showed up to the second appointment late (7/27/23).-The artist drew a different design than we discussed via email, adding roughly 30 minutes to the time already waited. My appointment was at 12:30pm, we did not start tattooing until after 2:00pm.-The artist charged me for the time it took to redraw the design after they drew a design that we did not agree upon. Looking through emails, I was clear about the design I wanted at this appointment.-Only half of my original deposit applied to the price of the tattoo at the end. I’m not sure what the rest of the deposit was for.-I was told this tattoo would take 2-3 hours, and ended up paying for 4 hours (at $185/hr.) I was not prepared to pay that amount.I’ve also posted a photo of the tattoo that I left with and it altogether cost me $790. I left at the end of the day feeling cheated and that this shop/artist doesn’t respect my time or me as a client. At the end of the day, I spent $235 more than I had budgeted for, which I feel is not a good way to do business.Update: I did consider removing my review following the response from the owner. However, Ferg is a part of the staff there, whether full-time or part-time. The artists you choose to represent your shop are what make your business.

This was my first tattoo and it turned out amazing!! Evan is a true artist! He took the time the make sure the placement flowed with the natural shapes on my body.

I absolutely adore My Little Needle Tattoo, especially the artist and owner, Trish! Trish has been working on an American traditional style sleeve for me. She’s always happy to design something custom and make recommendations on placement, color, size etc. Trish’s technique is very quick, gentle and stunning. I love how clean and sterile her work station and the shop are kept. The shop is super cute inside with something unique to see everywhere you look. You can really tell a lot of thought and care went into the different design elements throughout. The employees I’ve interacted with, from other tattooers to desk staff, have been friendly and welcoming. I’ve been tattooed at four other MI shops in the past and none have provided the aftercare that Trish does. My tattoos healed faster than ever before. I’ve worked with Trish for two sessions now and am always looking forward to my next! Not only is Trish an amazing artist but she is a pleasure to talk with. I love seeing a super-talented woman run a successful business yet manage to be relatable and down to earth. She’s good people which, sadly, is rare these days. Trish’s schedule fills up quickly but she’s worth the wait, I promise! I intend to see Trish regularly for all my future tattoos and am confident recommending My Little Needle to anyone seeking a quality tattoo.

If you want an amazing tattoo by a talented artist in a safe & inviting shop, My Little Needle is IT. Latricia has always given me the most beautiful tattoos and the atmosphere makes it so comfortable even if your skin is being punctured at an incredibly rapid rate by a very sharp needle.

After a bad waste of an hour to my day at Premiere tattoos I decided to look this place up and found it was right around the corner from where I live. As soon as you walk in the atmosphere is warm and inviting youre greeted with friendly welcomes and open minds. I had an idea for something I wanted to do to commemorate my daughter who passed away and mr. Anthony totally gave me something I didnt even expect. I am beyond ecstatic for the tattoo I received and will be going here from now on for all my tattoo needs I finally found a shop in Michigan Ive been back home for 5yrs and havent found a person that I like yet and Ive only been tattooed once besides this one and was not happy he even fixed the tattoo that I received that turned out crappy. Anything they do he guaranteed any touch-ups would be taken care of for the rest of the life of the tattoo amazing anybody needs anything done go see this guy stopped bold colors Great Line work and an awesome dude thank you guys so much for my wonderful tattoo and Ill be seeing you very soon

Let me start out by saying that this is one of the best tattoo shops I’ve ever been to (they also do piercings) I got my sleeve start and I go to Melea! I’m so happy with my ink it’s not even finished yet and it’s just so elegant and amazing. Cannot wait to get more!

Trish did my cover up a few years ago. Im still astonished by the incredible quality of her work and how well its held up over the years.The staff is friendly, talented and polite. I am definitely going backUpdate: finally went back and Dylan was amazing. She knocked out our 8 hour tattoo in under 5 and just had the gentlest touch. Got tattooed here in July 2021 by V. They were very friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. V is also very fun to talk to which I think is a pretty important quality in a tattoo artist. Everyone at the shop seems very cool and incredibly friendly. The shop itself is clean and has great vibes. I absolutely adore my tattoo and I’d love to come back and get tattooed by them again!

I absolutely love this place. The environment is so welcoming as soon as you get in the door, and they make sure you are totally comfortable. Ive gotten two tattoos from Oberon, and he is incredible with his detailed line art. His designs are impeccable, and I will absolutely be coming back for every tattoo I get.

I cannot say enough good things about our experience! Our daughter had her ears pierced a year ago (somewhere else) and they closed up. She wanted to try again, so we took her for her 10th birthday. Dylan was SO incredibly kind, patient and thorough. She took extra care with our daughter, knowing that she had a not so great experience with someone else. A nice vibe in a cute little shop. Lots of artwork to look at from the longer-term artists. Bathroom is also super nice (I swear I judge a place based on their bathroom facilities LOL). Street parking available. ATM inside the building so you dont have to worry if you forgot cash.I worked with Ferg and had a fabulous tattoo experience--they checked on me frequently, gave good breaks, and had a calm, serious demeanor that made my time relaxing and enjoyable. Lots of thought put into design, placement, and free-hand gap fillers. The other artists were nice and seemed attentive to their own and other clients and came and chatted with me a few times during my tattoo. Front desk person was also nice! Definitely recommend the shop.

Dylan was my tattoo artist. She did an amazing job. Has a really good touch. I was squirmy for sitting for 4 hours. She didnt complain once. Amazing shop. Love all the plants and friendly staff. Such a positive experience.

Trish is amazing! I came in with some ideas and she made everything flow together in one cohesive design and managed to cover up an old tattoo in the process. Their staff are friendly, the shop is extremely clean and not too crowded. I felt so included in the design work and comfortable the entire process. I will go nowhere else ever again!

I would give 10 stars if I could! I am so happy with the entire experience I received with My Little Needle Tattoos. The entire staff was extremely friendly and V. Fox was amazing in so many ways! They met with me a few months ago to discuss my vision for my first tattoo. My hummingbird flower tattoo is the most beautiful piece of art and everything I wanted and more. Joell was a drop everything for a good story on scheduling our sessions. Three of us with a timeline to support! My daughter was in from California and we had a small window of time. We had a referral from Brooke @ Urban Roots (thank you!) and she dropped everything to get all three of us in on her day off. I took my daughter to her first tattoo when she was 18 and its been a race to cover as much skin as possible (28 so far) so it was nostalgic to repeat the process together again. Everyone was showing off her work and we were very grateful for her time and presence. We will be back around for sure...Venus/Kennedy/Alex

An extremely comfortable and reassuring experience from Dylan, she is excellent at what she does. I came in yesterday for three piercings in pretty scary spots on my ear, and she was just amazingly comforting and professional. She makes her own jewelry and believe me I bought five pieces! and I’m going back for more.

I love this place so much, truly. Had my bridge, lips/cheeks ect here. Love the piercer and love the atmosphere. I have one complaint which isnt really something they can help. They do refuse certain piercings WHICH I completely understand and respect fully but its tough because this is the only place I trust with my piercings. I REFUSE to go to another piercer. Its clean, its calm, its so nice.

I loved it! It was clean. I came in for a tongue piercing, but Dylan said my webbing came down too far for one. I really appreciate the safety measures taken for my best health. I left with a bellybutton piercing!

Great experience all around & the most beautiful tattoo Ive ever gotten!I loved the feel of the front of the shop, with its huge windows & beautiful indoor plants. The front desk workers were friendly & helpful.The tattoo artist V Foxx was all around amazing! They were very informative, professional, & hygienic. They were considerate when it came to making sure I was comfortable & letting me take any breaks I needed. They worked with a light hand & the tattoo healed up perfectly with no issues.It was a wonderful experience from start to finish & I absolutely adore my tattoo.

Dom swapped some jewelry for me about 2 years ago, when I got fed up with my old nostril screw and gave me a really comfortable flat back instead. She made me super comfortable before, during, and after. I can handle tattoos, injections, IVs, and blood draws, but something about getting my nose ring messed with makes me feel like Im going to puke. She is the 1st person in my extensive piercing history who totally knew how to shut that feeling down and keep me at ease. She taught me how to use a taper to get my jewelry back in by myself quickly and easily. I have stopped in a few times to add to my jewelry collection, and although its a smaller selection of jewelry every once in awhile, Ive never left disappointed or empty-handed. Everyone at the desk has been friendly and helpful, theres high quality jewelry, great value for services, and theyre honest professionals. I thought was REALLY cool that 2 people in this shop were interested in, and sincerely complimented my tattoos (that were done by my regular artist of nearly 10 years who doesnt even work here). I have a handful of clients of my own that Ive sent over for piercing and theyve all been impressed with the service here and appreciated the recommendation. When I stop being a wuss about new piercings, this is where Ill go for them! Cheers to an excellent small business that totally excels in customer service.

Dylan did my nose for me and septum for my sibling. Shop was clean, piercings and equipment was sterilized in front of us, and Dylan was incredibly personable and patient with my sibling for their first time pierced. They updated every movement they were about to make before they made it and though they were in control of the piercing process it gave us comfort feeling that we could back out at any point if we felt uncomfortable. Piercing consent is cool and so is Dylan!

Booking with Little Needle was easy and every employee is kind and personable. My artist, Tyler Nguyen, provided me with a an excellent customer experience and is honestly one of the best tattoo artists I have ever met. I am extremely satisfied with his artwork and look forward to working with him in the future!

This shop is very beautiful and the staff are super friendly. My piercer was absolutely amazing. The prices are a little higher than I expected but you definitely get what you pay for which is quality service.

A year ago, I got my first tattoo at this shop -- a large piece that took over half my body. I did a lot of research coming into the shop, because I wanted my first experience to be a good one, and I was not let down! My artist was Oberon Rattus, and not only did he make me feel completely comfortable for a first time tattoo, but he knocked my tattoo out of the park. I get compliments on it all the time. I will come back to MLNT for my next piece, whatever that may be. I urge you to give this shop a try, everyone inside is a delight to work with and be around. You will not be disappointed! Such a lovely atmosphere and amazing artists on staff. :)

I highly recommend Joell! Super communicative, replies quickly, willing to hear what you want changed about the design! For example if you notice a spot that needs more attention, Joell will gladly go over it with a smile. Joell also has gotten me in super quick, I’m excited to work with joell again soon!

The entire experience, from when I booked my tattoo to when I got it done, was fantastic! The level of professionalism is top-notch, and I love my tattoo! I would recommend d the shop, and my artist was Vfoxx! They were EPIC on so many levels. I absolutely love the work they did. The piece they created for me was something ill cherish for a lifetime! Been here twice and both times I’ve found the front desk rude and condescending. No greeting even though the place had only one customer, just a snarky staff when asking a question (little women with long dyed hair and extremely short shorts). I went to a tattoo parlor in Brighton instead, much better vibe. Btw, no body shaming in my complaint as you implied just a description of your employee so you could address it and your response is passive aggressive.

For the past few years now, my husband and I have been getting our tattoos at MLNT. The shop is SO clean, professional, inclusive, and welcoming. We have had experience with a few different artists, all of whom have been top notch - all knowledgeable and welcoming. Ive had some intimidating experiences at tattoo shops in the past, but the atmosphere here is safe, comforting and inviting. I also cant say enough about the cleanliness and welcoming atmosphere - all of the artists do such a thorough job with the tattoo process from design, to application, to aftercare. We recommend this place to everyone we know and wouldnt go anywhere else.

I have used My Little Needle and Namaste Body Piercings for many years just for piercings but I always knew when/ if if ever got a tattoo, this would be the only place I’d go. When my dad died suddenly before Christmas, I knew I wanted his handwriting on me. Trish was over and beyond helpful to me and V showed up for me like a freekin rock star. This was my first tattoo and V did such a good job explaining everything to me. Not only that, but they did a phenomenal job on the placement, handwriting and symbol I got. I was so happy and touched by their kindness that I cried happy tears all the way home. I will absolutely be back for more tattoos with V and maybe others and also to support Trish’s awesome shop. I can’t say enough amazing things about MLN. My older mother was even impressed with Vs work and it touched her heart to see my dad’s handwriting on me. Love MLN so much, can’t wait to come back!!!!

I got a coverup from Joell and she did an amazing job. I was nervous about it because you never know with a coverup, but she designed it exactly how I wanted and Im so happy with the way it looks. I also appreciate that they use saniderm, which in my experience always makes healing go way better. Really glad I went to MLN!

Wonderful studio! I went in for my second lobe piercing, and the staff was kind and professional. The studio was very clean and super cool decor wise. The piercer who helped me was very friendly and really helpful with questions and concerns. I will definitely be coming back here with any future piercing inquiries!

Dylan pierced my boys ears, and she was thorough, patient, and extremely professional.My wife got a fine-line tattoo done by V, and it turned out amazing.I had the pleasure of getting a sentimental bird tattoo done by Melea, and it turned out better than I could have imagined.I have nothing but good things to say about Melea. My Little Needle is an amazing tattoo shop! All the staff are fantastic to work with, cover a huge range of art styles, and all around great people! The atmosphere is great, the shop is kept super clean, and the owner, Trish, has built an incredible studio! Cant recommend this place enough!

Super knowledgeable and friendly! Trish is the best, shes beyond talented, her lines are the best Ive seen. Shes extremely artistic and was helpful with certain suggestions for the piece getting done. Took our five year old for ear piercing. It was a great experience. Clean and professional. Talked my daughter through everything while making sure she was comfortable and ready to stop if she needed at any point. No tears, no redness or discomfort afterwards. They’re welcoming of all types of people and have made me feel very comfortable when I’m there. They make me never want to go anywhere else. This shop is amazing! The people are friendly, punctual and professional. Oberon has been the go to tattoo artist for my wife and as well as several of our friends, he does great work! Additionally, my wife loves going to Dylan for her piercings!

I am agoraphobic and live 2.5 hours away, and still would not go anywhere else. Trish turned my request of I want some flowers into a gorgeous design that I could never have imagined myself. She is a true artist. I will be returning to add to the original tattoo and also get another from Trish. In addition to her talent, she is also just a very nice person to interact with, and the entire facility is professional, clean, and exudes good humor and a love of the art. Cant recommend enough.

Latricia and the entire staff are exceedingly talented artists and piercers who would thrive in a big city, but instead choose to share their artistry in downtown Plymouth. The shop is immaculate and has a great vibe. Absolutely a ten out of ten experience everytime.

Absolutely one of the BEST tattoo parlors in Metro Detroit. I’ve had 8 pieces done with MLN, and have had the best experiences, which is why I’ve continued to go back. Latricia, the owner is by far one of the best people, and has always be professional, honest and respectful with me. I took her my ideas and she created masterpieces. If you want an EXCELLENT artist, give them your ideas on your work, and let their creativity flow.I’ve also had piercings done with guest piercers and also with Namaste Body Piercing. They’ve been nothing but AMAZING!Staff has always been friendly and professional, as have all the other piercers and tattoo artist. I wouldn’t go anywhere else!!!

Trish and her artists are great! If you want Trish, herself, to do your tattoo, plan on booking a few months ahead of time because shes in demand. If you want a tattoo sooner, but still well done, you can see any of the artists that work there. They are friendly and talented and the shop is extremely clean.

Ive gone to Oberon at MLNT for a few years now and he always does a great job! Ive reccomended him to several of my friends and he always does a fantastic job and surpasses my expectations with all the designs he has done for me. The shop is always super clean and all the other staff Ive interacted with are super friendly. I always feel very comfortable at the shop and Im always excited to come back.

Ive been going to My Little Needle Tattoo for the last 4 years and never had a complaint. 6 of my 9 tattoos have been done at this shop. They take the time to talk with you about your designs and ideas of the tattoo you want. I recommend going to Tyler Nguyen (I think thats how you spell it). Hes a great person, gives his honest opinion and is truly talented! Stop in there for your next tattoo!

Ive been seeing Tyler and Trish for +10 years and they have ALWAYS delivered on some great pieces. I wont go anywhere else. They are very busy so give yourself a little time but you wont be disappointed you choose them.

This was my first tattoo. Five different people from different cities recommended Tricia. She was great...very patient with me as I was nervous before and during the tattoo etched onto my foot. Prior, she took the time to make sure the art I sent her is what she wanted. I will go back to her when I find the right turtle to have on my calf.

The staff is super friendly, and extremely patient....plus its hospital clean, I mean squeaky clean! Very comfortable setting and creative decor. This is truly the place to be for all your needs.

We visited MLNT to have Namaste piercing pierce our daughters earlobes. She was so excited to go but got extremely nervous. Crimson was very calm and explained everything to her before each step.After 1 ear, our daughter was not on board for the 2nd ear. Crimson was so incredibly patient and understanding. We left with the second earring and 1 pierced ear. Our daughter said Im proud of myself not 5 mins down the road then exclaimed her piercing didnt hurt anymore and shes ready to go back in 2 days for her other ear 😂🙌Not all successes are measured by 2 ears being pierced at the same time!
