I came into the shop for a small piece on friday the 13th. I have 23 pieces previously done in various shops around the world. As expected I was priced the shop minimum. I recieved service and art well above minimum value. Jonnie was engaged through the whole process. The atmosphere and enviroment was welcoming. The shop was sanitary and sterile in the process without feeling like a dentists office. I have already recommended the shop to friends and will be back for a larger piece as his quality of work was extraordinary. He also has a very light touch. Usually during foot and abkle work my leg cannot stop twitxhing. This was the calmest i have ever been able to sit through a session. TL:DR I paid for an hour of work and recieved a true dedicated hour of work.

Absolutely wonderful experience! I have 4 tattoos but had not been tattooed in almost 25 years so I really didn’t know what to expect. A1 experience! He took my idea and created an amazing piece of art! He did this all in less than one day and got me in and done all in the same day and I couldn’t be more pleased with the whole experience! Thank you Jonnie so much for everything!

I had a amazing time here! The whole place has a very nice mood and vibe. The tattoo artist was so sweet as well, helped me and told me what to do when I almost blacked out. He kept conversation with me going which was awesome in general a 12/10 experience. Dont have very good pictures of video but my tattoo turned out awesome

I went in to get thoughts on a design I had and to set up a possible time for my tattoo. Dude got me in right away. We redid my design and it it came out great. His lines are super crisp and amazing. The tiniest of letters are completely readable. He’s funny and likes to talk and interact with his customers unlike most tattoo artists. I highly recommend going her and getting ink done

Stopped in to have some work done, got to talking about the ink i had and came up with a plan for a massive cover up. First session done, 5 hours, couldnt be happier. Design is awesome, Jonnie is great. Very honest and open communication. Work is amazing. TV in the studio, watched great MMA fights the entire visit. Coverup work is very, very good, original design is almost invisible after just the first visit. Finish and touchups will make it almost unbelievable. Cant wait to go back for the next step. Would recommend Jonnie to anyone looking for serious quality at great prices.

Didnt go deep enough, tattoo flaked off within a week. Waste of 150$, not happy at all. I had to tell him to fill lines. Not to even mention being Under the influence smoking weed when operating a tattoo gun, plus the millions of sexual comments/jokes. Very unprofessional. Also has a not good record nothing you want to bring your kids around when you find out.

He did AMAZING work on me. The work I had done was line work, very delicate and executed to perfection. He made the experience comfortable and enjoyable. I’m definitely going back to this well priced, perfectly run tattoo studio. HIGHLY recommend for your next tattoo!

So glad that I went to Twisted Ink! We travel full time with my husbands job so we don’t have the luxury of knowing a particular artist in certain areas. My brother died a week ago, on July 15. I went in on Monday and told Jonathan what I wanted. He incorporated everything I asked for including my brother’s handwriting from a letter he wrote me. My heart is broken, but his work is truly helping me heal.

When I called for an appointment. John called me back within a few hours later. He was very responsive. I sent him a design. I got an appointnent a few days later. John is very pationate about his work. He did a great job on my script tattoo. His attention to detail is spot on. Very happy with his work.The thing that impressed me the most other than his work was he called me the next day to make sure everything was good and if I had any concerns or questions. That was awesome! Im going back again!

I received a small tattoo on the back of my neck from John McGraw. His work is extremely clean and he is very dedicated to his craft. He provides not only beautiful work but he does it with a vibe that makes you feel right at home in his shop and he isnt heavy handed at all. He got me in same day without being overpriced. I am definitely making him my regular artist. I look forward to seeing what he will do with the ideas I have for my future tattoos. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

First time having a tattoo done by John. A nice guy, was able to be very flexible with the design of the tattoo. I wanted a piece replicating flowers drawn by family members. Did a great job replicating them. Good prices too.

It was my first visit to his shop and it was a great experience, the owner is a pretty awesome dude. He sells clothing, art work, ink, and piercing. My tattoo is still healing but from what I can see, its going to heal up just fine.

John is an amazing artist. This is the first work Ive had done in 15 years and was very nervous. I bugged him for about a week with all kinds of different things I wanted in my tattoo. He was kind and in the end the image was better than what I had pictured in my own mind. His shop and conversation are both very welcoming. I just booked my 2nd tattoo with him.

Not a tattoo virgin that’s for sure. Each of my tattoos has been done by a different artist in other shops. Finally decided to get my God Daughter’s tattoo done today. Turned out much better than the vision in my head. When I showed her a picture she liked it better than was in her head too. John has a light hand compared to other artists. I may have just found a shop to get more work done.

Its been 6 years since my last tattoo. I hadnt found anyone I trusted. I watched Johns Facebook page for quite a while before stopping in to talk with him. I found his shop very clean and he was very professional the entire time. He understood both pieces of my tattoo had meaning behind them and knew how much it ment to me. First, I love the whole tattoo. I love the precise line work, the attention to detail, the color scheme he put together, and the thought put into redesigning the rough design I sent to him. I absolutely love the clean letters and how even the colors are. I will definitely be back!

Deserves more recognition!! recently finished a sleeve that took a lot of work from John. Loves his work and takes pride of it. Acceptable prices than other shops like Colt. I live in Appleton and had no car so I had to bike there one time. I could go to any other shop, but Twisted Ink is the way to go!

Works slow for charging by the hour, tattoo heals SO light so when I decided not to continue with this shop because of the poor value I did not recive a refund for my second session I pre paid for. I immediately went to a different shop and they were in horror of what I received for 300 dollars and almost 4 hours of work. I beg any of you if you want a complete tattoo with color and all within a few hours please go somewhere else. I have been walking around with a disaster on my forarm for about a month now. Lesson learned.
