I receive compliments every day on the tattoo I got at Planet New York. I walked in November 2023 without a solid idea in mind. Vincent Manco and the other staff helped me to realize a beautiful, composition. Even my grandmother who doesn’t really appreciate tattoos finds it beautiful. Today I walked out with a second traditional style tattoo, this time a scheduled appointment. I am overjoyed with how the tattoo came out. Absolutely love this place. Vincent was absolutely amazing. I initially had consultation, and it was a very detailed and helpful consultation. I was doing a cover-up and now my cover-up looks like I never had my previous tattoo. He is very detailed and you can tell he has true passion for his work because it shows!!

Worked with us to create the design we wanted. Even as he was completing it, he would recheck and make sure everything lined up, even if he had to start again from the drawing. I drew out the design, and they made it come to life and look way better!! Thank you!!

I will never argue with an artist about their prices, but when I inquired about pricing at the end, the artist asked another artist and the response was I dont know you decide, the more the better then charged me 200 dollars because it is an intricate design

Best experience ever was the best ever the staff really made me feel welcome and comfortable in the atmosphere of business I definitely recommend this to anyone who is looking for a place for a piercing and tattoo

I have always had a great experience with Vince. He pays attention to detail he had never done anything doctor who related and he made sure the scarf was perfect. Im looking forward to my next tattoo especially since my son got me a gift certificate.

Had a very pleasant experience with the Piercer Katie!! She did my Septum and walked me through the process and told me about after care and everything I needed to know! It was VERY clean and organized and near painless and I felt comfortable!! She was very kind and gave me some good laughs and I will for sure be recommending others here and coming back for future piercings and talking about my amazing experience!!! I went here to get a tattoo as a walk in and a guy walks up to me asking what I want. I tell him and he proceeds to tell me that I’m going to look like I’m in prison. Saying that no one is going to know what my tattoo means and continues to give me ideas to change it. It’s not his tattoo, I’m sure my taste and his are different as I could tell by the tattoos on his arm which are also not mine to judge. I am open to opinions but the manor in which he handled it was very very rude. Seeing the other reviews about the attitude people have received during walk-ins, I 100% know it’s the same guy. This place does not have anywhere near the kind energy as twin tides tattoo or Hudson valley tattoo company. Please don’t come here.

Jerry has been my guy since my first tattoo and has done many for me. I was in recently and had a memorial piece done. Knowing the situation I was going through Jerry made it a point to get me in right away and blew me away with his generosity. Not only did this tattoo come out perfect but all the other work hes done over the years remains flawless. I would highly recommend Jerry and Planet New York Tattoo for your tattoo.

Called to make an appt for a consult with Vinny. Was told to just come in Sat at noon to see him. I came in to speak with Vin about doing my sons first Tat & was told at the counter he may or may not be in. Was also half heartedly greeted by a guy at the counter who quickly dismissed the piece by saying that Vinny wouldnt be interested and it would be Shawns style. Vinny has done 4 of my tattoos and 4 of my daughters (one of which is in his portfolio) so I respectfully told him I would like to discuss it with Vinny. I asked if he would take my number and ask Vinny to call me when he was going to be in. He wouldnt. Told me to email. Very disappointing!!! I like Vinnys work and was very upset that I couldnt even get a time frame to speak with him and was dismissed by the man at the counter. Lots of tattoos in our future but Im unsure if well be giving our business to PNY.

Katie the piercer helped me today and was so kind and a great person to talk to! I recommend her to anyone!! She fixed my piercing and she has a variety of jewelry to be pierced with! She was so clean and organized also, I can’t wait to go back!

Audrey is amazing!! She pierced my nose about 2 weeks ago, and my body had been having a hard time with the jewelry and she was able to help me out!! She is wonderful & so down to earth! If you need a piercing, I highly recommend Audrey!

I will ALWAYS come back to Katie for all my piercings. She did such an awesome job and made me feel so comfortable. Cant wait to go back for my next piercing. Thinking it will be very soon😜

I went to Planet New York Tattoo my first time over 6 years ago to get a piercing, they were RIDICULOUSLY overpriced, and on top of it didn’t come across welcoming, or like they even cared you were there! I never went back. I had a piercing fall out recently, and it’s been SO hard to find places to go to because of Covid and all the protocols! So, I called around everywhere and figured “it’s been 6+ years give them a try, maybe it’s changed”... Yeah, I made the right decision 6+ years ago to never go to them again. The male receptionist I spoke to was highly rude, with an “I’m too good to be here, or be bothered with you” attitude. He was like an angry 16 year old that’s parents forced him to get a job & he hates it. I was trying to explain the situation and instead of listening to what I was trying to say, he just kept interrupting me & then told me to just go online to book an appt ... Worst customer service. Ever. And first impression to me, is everything. Whoever is doing the hiring at this establishment, needs to reevaluate their employees and see if they really want to be working there, and maybe some refreshers on customer service, how to listen, and how to represent yourself correctly. Especially with a customer who is inquiring about spending money at your establishment, you’re supposed to listen, and cater to their needs, not have an attitude or make them feel uncomfortable, and ruin any chance of them coming to your business. I’m just happy I called before going in-person because that was literally a joke.

They charged in the $200 range per tattoo, for all three that I have and they’re about 2in long tattoos. They also messed up on my one pretty badly. I’m getting it fixed by a different shop. The picture I gave him looks nothing like what I got and it kinda looks like he gave up on it. I will say that I did have good experiences getting my piercings from them.

Overall not too good of an experience. Do not rely on their walk-in policy. Went there on 2 Saturdays in a row and was told both times they were already booked. The store opens at 12 and I was there at 12 with no other customers around. Both times I was told somebody called out. Frustrating! Eventually, I did get my tattoo done. The result looks average, positioning on my upper arm is off. I paid $240 for a 35 minute job. I scheduled another appointment and the appointment was cancelled due to a call out (3rd time). I was fed up and stopped by and picked up my deposit. My recommendation to the ownership: have a back-up plan when somebody calls out or do not advertise the walk-in days. I wont be back!

Put $100 down and waited for my appointment. Called a couple of days early to see the progress of the design. Was told I will see it the day of appointment. When I got there, I was showed the design by the girl at the front desk. When I told her I wanted to change some stuff, she went back to the artist and told him. He said he would not change anything. I said I would not be tattooed something I did not like. They would not change the design or give me back my $100. Horrible way of doing business. I would never go back there.

Very nice, they fit me in way sooner than I thought and I was in and out in like 15 minutes. Im hoping that the tattoo looks better after it heals some because I looked in there and I couldnt really see by looking in the mirror but it seemed like it was alright but when I got home and took a picture of it and really looked.... Im not thrilled with the lettering but like I said, maybe once it heals.

Great place for a tattoo next to the college!

Great place with friendly employees, and I think its the best option if you want to get a tattoo if youre in the area. I went in the other day planning to get one, but ended up getting two lol. The artist did an excellent job making sure that every detail was shown too.

Ive been going here since I got my first tattoo when I was 18. Highly recommend them, and always happy with the whole experience start to finish. John and Sag are both great artists that Ive personally been to.

I called asking if I can make an appointment for Saturday and they guy told me to come in tomorrow and we can discuss what I want and see if there is a spot available which is understandable, so I asked him well is there even time available for me to come in so I dont waste my time and get my hopes up and he rudely said something along the lines of you have to come in and we will see so I walk in and I told them what happened, they look at the book and said yeah there are no spots available. I spent 30 minutes to get there just to be shut down. why couldnt you tell me on the phone and you could have been much nicer about it.

Always the finest from sag and Shawn prices are always fair good work cost money. cheap gets you to ask if it can be covered so go here if you want it to last and wanna buy the best

Just got my nosed pierced by Audrey, she is awesome! Very personable, super professional and knowledgeable as well. Highly recommend going to see her for any piercing!

Shaun is an amazing artist. Ive gotten two sleeves and now Im working my way across my chest and Ive yet to not be amazed by his art work. Thank you Shaun!

Tattoo is missing color as it was colored very sloppy and I am very disappointed. Likewise, I was told to use Aquaphor, but I ended up talking to a new tattoo parlor for a consultation and color touch-up and they said absolutely no Aquaphor. Friend of mine who has been in and out of tattoo parlors forever said they probably used the wrong needle when coloring the tattoo in. Not coming back.

Went in for a walk in and the guy asked me what font I wanted my tattoo. I told him I wasnt sure and could show him a picture. He said that wouldnt help. When I showed the picture anyway he said “yeah Im not trying to do that” beyond disgusted with this place and will never recommend anyone.

John C has done both my tattoos and he is great! Going for my third this Sat. These guys are all great! Best shop in town!

My favorite place for tattoos and peircing. Have had multiple of both now and never disappointed. They have even done a cover up that is amazing and made me feel comfortable to show my tattoo off again.

Only place for piercings. Got 6 done here so far. Quick, clean & competitively priced. Tattoos look good, but havent had mine here.

Have gotten almost all my work done here. Mad chill place. And get the work done just how you want it. Definitely would recommend anyone to go there.

Went in on a whim late at night and extremely satisfied. Very clean, excellent music.
