Tattoo Voodoo

Received an ear piercing today and a nose piercing a few months ago. Both were wonderful experiences. The piercing artist is both professional but still having fun with it. Will come back for my future piercings!

I had the greatest experience with Devin at Tattoo Voodoo! I have a large piece that needs to be reworked, and couldn’t be happier with the outcome. Devin took the time to explain what he visioned prior to working on it and brought it to life even greater than envisioned. A light hand made it even better! And the space itself is immaculate. I couldn’t be happier and can’t wait for another session.

Got my septum pierced and was pretty nervous but for no reason because Devin did an awesome job making it quick and virtually painless! Heather at the front counter also great, she helped me chill out :) Thanks again -Bob

I went here 3 years ago for my tragus piercing, he educated me so well on my piercing, and wasn’t harsh with it or anything and it went very smooth, I came back today for another piercing and again he was so well informed, educated me on what kind of piercings I can have based on my ear shape, etc, very gentle with the piercing itself, and was super fast and well done. Honestly only coming here for piercings

I went in as a walk in and they were able to help on the spot without hesitation. Great atmosphere, awesome crew. One of the best ink experiences I have ever had. Will plan another canvas spot for them in the future!

I went to Devin to get a memorial tattoo to start a sleeve, with very little solidified in mind regarding the concept. He was incredibly enthusiastic and compassionate with regard to the ideas I presented. Between the initial consultation and the first appointment, he designed an entire half sleeve that went above and beyond expectation. Its a work in progress, so I wont be sharing images. I cannot stress enough how talented he is. His work is exceptional, he is creative, and I would recommend him to anyone. If you are willing to ask him to assist in the design process, I promise you will not only be satisfied with your tattoo, but you will also have an entirely unique piece.

Devin is amazing! By far the best tattoo artist I’ve gone to. He works with you to get your piece perfect and his shop is extremely clean. His work is absolutely amazing. Amazing experience! The owner and artist behind this studio is a perfectionist! The studio is immaculate and meticulously maintained. I went about 2 weeks ago to get my septum done and by far the best experience Ive had. Not knowing what the pain would be but Devin gave me the full rundown of the pain and step by step of how it was going to be done. Worth the time and slight pain. Will be going back in given time for some tattoo removal. 10/10

I came in first about 4 ish months ago for my nose, Devon did an amazing job. I wanted another tattoo, so I booked a date.So far I have got 2 tattoos and Im in love with them.I usually have a kinda sorta idea, but am open to virtually anything hand drawn and a one of kind. Whilst getting my nose done, we talked about the tattoo, likes, nots, ect.He did a banging job on both and Ive a 3rd one setup and truly cant wait.He keeps his shop OCD clean, which I or anyone can appreciate and love the smell. Awesome man with decades of experience to back him up. Love the banter between us and cant wait to come in for the next sessions.When I get asked about my pieces, I highly recommend Devon and will continue to go to him.

Came in to cover up a bad moon tattoo I got a decade ago, and while other tattoo artists refuse to touch it, Devin was super straight up that cover up would have to be darker one, luckily I have a black dog lol but he was able to do it!! With such efficiency and ease. He was able to create a portrait piece in a small space with smooth shading and great contrast! You can’t see that “toe nail” of a moon anymore 😂 The shop is super clean and open, and Devin was great to talk to, very personable and kind, during the wholeprocess. I’m going back to get more work done soon! I can’t recommend this place enough Thank you, Tattoo Voodoo!

Devin is the man! Took the time to educate me about my piercing. Shop is super clean. Enjoyed the chat while he prepped and did the deed. Would recommend and will be back for more.8-23 Had Devin do a second piercing because I was so pleased with the first. He went the extra mile to make sure the placement was perfect and I was completely satisfied. While I was there he added color to my sleeve, I could not be more happy. Once again Devin proved why he is the best!

I went in today on a wing and a prayer that they would get me in and I was incredibly impressed with how friendly everyone was and how approachable and talented Devin was. He gave me me exactly what I wanted, fixed up an old tattoo, convinced me to follow my dreams and pierce my nose and we set up new appointments to get some of my bucket list tattoos done. I can’t say enough good things! This is without a doubt my new go to tattoos shop!!

Devin tattooed 2 of my friends, and was super accommodating and talented. He took their photo inspos and perfected them into the exact tattoo they were looking for. He was very upfront and informative, letting them know his price estimate before they signed the waiver. They couldn’t be happier.

In a day and age where there seems to be a tattoo shop on every block, the scratchers and hacks outnumber the high quality artists by at least 10:1. Devin and Tattoo Voodoo are like an oasis in a desert of self-taught kitchen magicians. Devin took the time to listen to my ideas and view my references before adding his own artistic style and interpretation which resulted in a design that far exceeded anything I could have ever envisioned on my own. His work is meticulous and his attention to sterility and cleanliness were apparent as soon as I walked into the shop. I can’t recommend Tattoo Voodoo enough, I’ll definitely be back for more!!

I love this place. Been inked by Shaun and pierced by Devin. Both are extremely informative, fun, but most importantly clean and awesome at what they do. Their pricing is fair, since they could totally jack their prices up with the college nearby. My tattoo has healed flawlessly and my piercing-- a septum-- was easily the most painless piercing Ive ever gotten, and I have like, what, 10 now? Cant wait to go back!

Devin runs a quality tattoo shop here. Not only does he offer vegan tattoo inks, soaps, and transfer paper, but the man also offers a quality experience and does impeccable work. I never write reviews but I just got my tragus piercing and the owner did an awesome job of calming me down and telling me what to expect and how to care for my piercing.

I went here for my septum and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. It was quick and he explained his process to me thoroughly before piercing. He clearly wants his customers to have a good understanding of the aftercare and what to expect. It barely hurt and healed perfectly! Would definitely recommend!

He is not only terrific at sitting down with you and really planning what you want, he also gives incredible insight and suggestions regarding each detail. Verrrrry nice & clean shop i called before i arrived just to make sure they were open due to the pandemic and to ask did they also do piercings too and being from out of town visiting from Tennessee i was right around the corner so i decided to walk to the shop and right when the young lady answered the phone she was so nice and answered my questions & before we hung up she asked me could she assist me in any other way i knew then Voodoo is the spot to go. I arrived & the young lady was just as Friendly & welcoming in person & without me telling her she knew i was the person she had spoken with that made even more relaxed & my piercer was just as Nice & handled me in the most comfortable & professional manner he was so gentle even when he gave me care instructions on how to properly take care of my piercing. I havent had any issues with my piercing everything is healing Great & i Cant wait to visit again

This is the best place to do your piercing I did my nose septum here I was so nervous because I heard it hurts bad .I did mine here and I felt no pain. He explain everything to me and it went just as how he say it would I am a happy Costomer .

My Abuela Shine passed away 7 years ago and I have been trying to find the perfect piece to honor her. Scrolling on Pinterest as one does I finally stumbled upon a piece that spoke to me. Then I met with a wonderfully creative, talented man, Devin at tattoovoodoony who took and transformed it into the most beautiful piece of artwork Ive ever seen. He collaborated with me and listened to everything I wanted while also giving much needed input.The idea of the sun for my Abuela Shine and the power and protection she always gives me in the same style as a Tarot card which she used to read for me over the years. I cannot recommend tattoovoodoony and Devin enough. Not to mention the props I received from THE Stephanie Tanner, Jodie Sweetin & Chris Kirkpatrick at 90s con before it was even done. I have gotten three tattoos from Devin and will definitely be going back for a fourth... annndd probably a fifth.. I have moved to Long Island since I started getting tattoos at Tattoo Voodoo, but still make the trip to be tattooed there since I have so much trust in Devin to make my tattoo the best it can be. Devin is super easy to communicate my ideas with. He always takes them into consideration and has my best interest in mind when creating the design. Devin creates a super clean, comfortable, and friendly environment. I dont feel embarrassed or intimidated to ask questions as he is extremely knowledgable and very kind. Waited to do a review till my nose was healed but I got the left side of my nostril done here already having my right side done. He did an amazing job lining up the piercing and making sure they were even. I couldn’t be happier! :)

A friend of mine got a piercing here and Stephen was very friendly! She was nervous and he had no problem with talking her through things. BUT, I will say that she requested a daith piercing and he did a forward helix... Didn’t really question the marking because piercers use different techniques buuut? It was still very cute and she’s happy with it! Also a very clean establishment!

Got my first tattoo there. Shaun was an amazing guy. Very polite, clean, efficient and funny. Never even knew I was getting my tattoo most of the time. Will definitely be going back here to get all my other ones!!

I dont know if I caught Devin on a bad day or if al the bad reviews get deleted but my experience was horrible. I went in to get my cartilage pierced and Devin was not friendly, did not ask where on my cartilage I wanted the piercing nor did he mark it out before completely it. He simply shoved a needle through my ear (at the wrong angle) and told me I was done. I barely received any aftercare instructions either. I was going to look into getting my nipples pierced as well but after that experience I will never go there for anything ever again. Black Cherry in Lagrangeville is amazing. Dont go here.

Judging by the other reviews I’m not saying this shop is bad. The artist was super talented, I saw his work. This must have been some kind of fluke or maybe he was not feeling it that day but this tattoo I got here is an actual disaster.

What I dont like about them as they dont take walk-ins. You need to make an appointment and wait a day or two to get a tattoo. I happened to be in the area at the time Christmas shopping. I dont live very close to them so I was unable to get a tattoo when I showed up. Disappointing!
