Against All Odds Tattoos and Piercings

Let me start off by saying that Katie is excellent. She answered all my questions and made me feel very welcome. Today, I received my very first nose piercing. Im of a mature age, and Ive always been conservative when it comes to my appearance. But, Im cellbrating my 54 b-day on the last day of September, so I decided to step outside the box. I dont regret my decision. I cant wait to show my husband and our three grown children, lol 😆. Thanks again, Katie. You are awesome!

My bestiegirl and I popped in and got quite a few walk-in piercings and change-outs done. Katie helped us out, and for me she did a nostril piercing, nostril changeout, and a septum piercing.Katie absolutely slayed, was so friendly and truly made for such a smooth, comfortable experience. Can’t recommend this place or Katie enough and will absolutely be back for any future piercing needs! 💓

Their lovely piercer did 3 piercings in a row for my husband, daughter, and me and it went so well! She was excellent, quick, professional, and all of our piercings are perfect and healing very well. We also really liked the place and would gladly come back for any future piercings or tattoos we may want. Exceptional experience!

I’ve only been to this shop for piercings. I got a nostril piercing in about 2018 and recently went back to purchase some emergency barbell jewelry. Pleasant experience and female piercer. Affordable jewelry, $40 for two barbells.

My daughter got her first tattoo here. Not sure of the man’s name but he was very professional, patient and kind to her. The tattoo turned out amazing just as she wanted! Thank you!

I got some piercings. In and out pretty quickly. She had to pierce through some scar tissue from previous piercings... Hurt quite a bit but I swear she was a ninja and got it done so fast and as least pain as she could do for me. I love this place for piercings and tattoos with PickEl

My husband had 2 sits with Spencer on a piece he has wanted for years. He couldnt be happier with the outcome! His idea was really brought to life and it just looks all around amazing. Spencer is super talented, friendly, and has a great demeanor that will make you comfortable getting permanent artwork from him. I also have to really stress that this is by far the cleanest shop Ive ever set foot in. You could probably eat off the floors quite honestly. Ive never seen a shop with this immaculate attention to detail.

Absolutely amazing place, PicEL is a terrific artist and great person. Hes done every tattoo that I have close to 20 in the last few years. I highly recommend him to everyone I know and to strangers that are always complimenting me on my artwork

I’ve had multiple piercings and no one has came close to being as good as Katie. She has fantastic customer service skills both on the phone and in person. She was very professional and did a great job on my nose piercing. She also did great with my 9 year old son as his ear was his first piercing, she was very gentle, made him comfortable, and answered all of his questions. We will definitely be back for future piercings! The experience and price was great, I would recommend her any day.

Amazing cost. Amazing work. Will only go to Pick El for tattoos. Very, very pleased with his work!!Obviously the size/cost/time varies for each tattoo, but Pick El is very fast and in no way heavy handed.

Great quality and willing to work you in if possible. They allowed me to come in for a tattoo and actually get it done very quick without any issues. I love the way the tattoo turned out as well as them piercing my ears the same day. All in all a great place with awesome people.

This is where I got my first tattoo and where I will be getting the rest of them. Spencer did an amazing job. He is very knowledgable and talented artist. Will absolutely be going back to him again. Highly reccomended.

I havent recieved any piercings from here but I have now had 6 tattoos here and its always a good experience. I always get a spot quickly and they get straight to work. Never issues with cleanliness and they know their stuff.

Katie was awesome! Just got a conch piercing done by her today. She was super nice and knowledgable. 100% will be going back when I’m ready for my next piercing. For those wondering for both the jewelry and the piercing it was $70 total, fantastic pricing.

First time.getting a tattoo here and Shawn blew me away! I was done in 3 hours and the tattoo looks amazing while healing and he was super friendly, talented, and affordable.

Fantastic shop. Pick El is an amazing artist. He is the person I trust to do my work and every piece turns out better than I imagined. He has also done my piercings. I never had any problems with anything healing.Everyone at the shop is nice and helpful and the shop is spotless. They also carry a nice selection of jewelry and the shop is open convenient hours.Kandace does amazing cosmetic tattoo work, as well as piercings. Good people and fantastic work.

It’s been a while since I had a piercing done here, but when I did it was a great experience! I am honestly writing this review in order to ask if anyone knows if they will pierce minors? Today is my daughters 8th birthday and I she wants her ears pierced… finding someone to do it besides “Claire’s” has been a freakin task!! Thanks in advance!

Very caring staff the guy that use to do the piercing in the bk room close to the entrance has done all my piercings and both my both of my daughters belly piercing which at the time they were 16 and he was very professional and very gentle and he did not make any of us feel uncomfortable the guy that is right next to the front counter in front he done my daughters very first tattoo after she turned 18 and he was absolutely amazing with her he made sure to check on her numerous times gave her a break when she needed one which she only needed one and that was just in between tattoos and she got two at one time I would definitely recommend these guys to anyone I will not have any work done anywhere else

Amazing. I took my daughter in there to get her ears pierced because I dont like the thought of piercing guns. Id rather her be pierced somewhere clean and safe. And she was. Everything is clean in the shop in the front as well as the piercing room. The piercer was very careful with everything and helped ease her nerves about getting pierced. It was a great experience. I will definitely be returning in the future for my own piercings.

I was in the parlor a total of 15 minutes. I got my nose pierced, and Turtle made it quick and simple. It did hurt, but duh. It seemed to have healed well, but since I had an appointment with my physician, I figured I’d have her check it out just to be safe. She stated that this was one of the best piercings she has ever seen. Granted I clean it daily, but she said they did an excellent job. It was only $25, quick, and simple. Loved this place!

I only had my ears pierced but Katie was great! Ill be going back after my ears heal to get them pierced again & Katie will definitely be doing mine again!Im also considering having a tattoo covered by something else & will go to Against All Odds for that also! Katie was very friendly & caring!I highly recommend Against All Odds!!

Saw Pickel today to get a daith piercing and I am so very happy with it. He was super nice and the process was so very quick. He had me in and out before my actual appointment time and went over all the care instructions for my new piercing. I will definitely be coming back and recommending him and this shop to anyone looking for a piercing or tattoo!

She did an amazing job she was very polite I got two piercings done I was only going to go in for one piercing but ended up getting too LOL but was amazing she did an awesome job and it looks amazing. Cant wait to go back to get another piercing and some tattoos highly recommend this place its amazing

So I wanted to get my first tattoo and had agonized over it for months, well really over a year. I knew what I wanted and came in and made an appointment. The guys were courteous and friendly. When I came back for my appointment I didnt have to wait long and was in and out in 30 minutes. Im sorry i cant remember who did my tattoo, kinda nervous, but he gave me extended introductions and a print out of how to care for it. Really cool people in my hometown. Great job!

I went in today to get the balls to my Tragus hoops put back on after having a second MRI done and was told it would be $10 because Its my time and my tools. I had told her previously Pickle had done it for free and I got Well, Pickle doesnt really do piercings anymore. Okay fine, not why I was there but its cool. What I am curious about is why charge me $10? Does every employee now charge $10 for helping a customer? Im not trying to sound rude but, this isnt something I can do myself and I currently cant afford to buy posts to make it easier on taking them in and out. I honestly dont know if she was trying to make a quick $10 off me or not, but I left feeling both a little angry and bummed out.

Inquired about a septum piercing price and got a reply back in less than 10 min with not only the price but, an apology due to the piercer not being in today and was offered a lower price than originally given. Excellent customer service within 10 minutes, upfront and honest, and very professional. Will be going here for all new inklings and piercings from now on! Highly recommended

Recently bought two nose rings (i love them) that Pickel installed for me & he was happy to order a specific ring that they didnt have on hand. Awesome customer service, id recommend anyone in their direction. Theyre cool people.

Let’s just say I was nervous when going in to get my first tattoo, it was a small tattoo near my wrist but I had never got one before but these guys were awesome and made the whole experience chill. They also did a great job, I will definitely be back!

I got a tattoo here about a week and a half ago, and the people there were amazing! Prior to this, I had gotten my nose pierced here and the guy who pierced it talked me through the whole process and let me know everything that was going to happen. The people here are awesome! I would 100% recommend this place. Out of my 11 tattoos, my neck piece is by far the best! Thank you guys.

Got my septum pierced here for $40 that included the jewelry which is great considering most places around here are around $40+ jewelry and $70+ jewelry which is insane to almost pay $100 for just a nose piercing really. Very professional, very clean and sterile! Friendly staff, good atmosphere. Ill be back for more piercings and who knows...maybe tattoos! Awesome job😊

I have been to this tattoo shop multiple times and usually they are friendly until Valentine’s Day. I went and asked about a small tattoo I wanted. I was told they were all booked up so I just asked to set up an appointment. The woman at the front was rude and asked the tattoo artist to “come talk to this girl” and by that time I was frustrated and said thatd I’d just get a piercing instead. She said “that will be 30 minutes” and rolled her eyes. I assured her that was okay and paid. I couldn’t pick my ID up Because of my nails. She picked it up and forcefully shoved it towards me. I ignored that and continued to be polite because I work with people and I know how bad it can be. She got a call and after a minute she said “I can’t hear you, I can hear bits and pieces” and hung up and slammed the phone down. I got pierced and I love my piercing but I will not go back due to the way I was treated.

Dude! Trust me when I say, you will Not regret going here. Trusting someone new to do permanent ink on you is a tough decision.. but these guys make the process pleasant, chill, and relaxing. My tattoos from here are the best of all the ones I have.

PickEl created an amazing piece of art for me. He took the elements I gave him and composed my tattoo before my appointment.I had no issues through the healing process and am in love with the results. I will definitely be coming back!

Had a great experience with a piercing here. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff willing to answer questions. Very talented artists and affordable services offered in the way of tattoos and piercings. Location is a little out of the way in the corner of a shopping center, but worth the time to check them out!

Got my first tattoo today 1/26/22 at almost 50. This experience was amazing easy painless Will most definitely be going back there quiet its very professional the music is good the atmosphere you dont feel like youre in a dirty environment amazing against all odds tattoos in Powell Tennessee and pickle are the best especially if its your first time experience

I got my tongue pierced and the guy was very nice and I didn’t even feel the needle go through. EXTREMELY clean place. Great service and very close to where I live like 5 mins. So I REALLY suggest going here. :)

My sister was the one who got the tattoo, but both guys were helpful and kind. The shop and all the supplies were very clean and I will be going back in the near future to get my tattoo fixed. I definitely recommend Against All Odds.

This is my second tattoo at against all odds and youd have a hard time getting me to go another place. I have been tattooed by Spencer and pickle both did amazing work and there pricing cant be beat!! pictured are both tattoos from them.. the first was done in January the second less than 30 min ago!!

Amazing. Pickel listened to everything i wanted and gave me even more than i dreamed of. He was respectful and gentle. The shop was clean and friendly. I get compliments on my tattoo everywhere i go. This is the only place i will go to get tattoos from now on.

I went there with parents to get a nose piercing and the owner said to come back tomorrow to get it done with the lady that does the piercings. Mind you he asked how old I was i said I was 14. We came back the next day to get it done and the lady said she only does 15 and up. So shouldn’t he know what ages his people can work on?

Pickle was the artist. He had a couple of days to look at what was wanted and he knew where it was going. The bald eagle in flight is beautiful!! And he was done in about an hour. Very professional artist, and a very clean studio.

My son had his done here this past summer an they did a horrible job. It was a brown haired lady that done it. First there is spots where she colored outside the outline then missed some spots all together. They went downhill. Wont be back.
