We are so happy we chose Elysium for our 6-year-old daughter’s ear piercing! Michael was wonderful with her and took his time to explain everything thoroughly. They had a nice selection of earrings and she really enjoyed picking hers. We would definitely recommend this place! Our experience was great!

I went and got my belly piercing done by mike! hes amazing and so friendly. hes a great guy and very communicative. I definitely recommend anybody who wants their piercings done to come to him. this is my favorite piercing place, and I will be coming back for future piercings. he lined up my piercing so perfectly and made sure I was comfortable, I was nervous at first, but he answered all my questions truthfully and when it happened, I hardly felt anything. hes awesome!

I have had this piercing done 2 x and it always ended getting infected and the hole would immediately close up. This time I was given a lot of information about what he was doing, why, and the aftercare and what to expect. Literally only about a week or so later my piercing was already way less tender and about month into it the sweeling was almost gone. This was the best experience I have ever had and I highly recommend.

Michael does an amazing job with his piercings! He’s so knowledgeable and gave us so much information about after care. He truly cares for his clients and their safety when it comes to piercings. Definitely a great place for piercings. My new favorite spot to go!

Lets start off by saying Im new to the tattoo industry and never had met up with a tattoo artist before but I saw katrinas work and her reviews that said nothing but positive things. In the emails prior to the conversation was pretty quick and nothing about having to pay or what should I expect when I get there. I was going under the thought that we would talk and I would leave and email her back to schedule an appointment to do a tattoo but not there was so I left my planner at home and I knew i had a lot of appointments lined up and instead of wasting peoples time I told her that I did which she didnt seem to have a problem with especially when she took the deposit from me. Let alone i had to remind her who i was and what i was there for. I received one more email from her letting me know the earliest she can do is noon on Saturday (Not meaning that Saturday just the earliest she works on those days) which worked best for me since my husband and I are on the night shift schedule and noon is pushing it since we should be asleep at the time but since Saturday we usually have off we figured that would be a clear time to try to focus on. I understand that it wasnt gonna be schedule anytime soon so when I got home I selected a Saturday even tho I figured she wouldnt have available but could bounce dates off each other to see which one would work best for her and me. Instead I got no response for 7 days which I thought was weird considering her previous respond time wasnt that bad but especially after a deposit had been taken, felt very unprofessional. Lack of communication is key, all it could have took was 10 or 20 seconds within 7 days to go not available on that date and I would have shoot back another email and waited for a response but I didnt get an email back till I pulled the receipt up that I got from the deposit and left a negative review and almost instantly got a email back which was also unprofessional. I love her artwork just not her unprofessional communication and behavior when you ask for a refund. I trusted that she would be great in communication, considering Michael is great with communication and had multiple piercings done by him....I think the screen shots of the email is proof enough of the unprofessional attitude.Even if that is true about the computer issues all she could have done is communicate that with me like sorry for the inconvenience/at the current moment our computers are down. Try reaching out in x amount of days Honestly wouldnt have been hard couldnt have use a cell phone with access to email which smart phones do. Also Katrina theres the definition of communication just in case you got confused....Also just a reminder $109 deposit and couldnt have a clear communication. I understand there might not be appointment times soon but 7 days not hearing back from someone who received a deposit is crazy especially if I dont have history with you. I initially waited 5 days before reaching out again just to see if Katrina RECEIVED my email and what it held in it so that why if theres issue with getting the emails theres a perfect opportunity to tell me. I then waited 3 more days. Then requested a refund seeing as the line of communication isnt there on her end. All she would have had to do was update me if there was a problem, I didnt mind waiting for appointment that was schedule like 4 months out just as long as there was clear COMMUNICATION.

I got my nose pierced done by Michael, and my boyfriend had his septum done. The entire process from scheduling to walking out was easy, he created a very welcoming and calming environment. I highly recommend, we’re super happy with ours and will be back!

I went in and got an eyebrow piercing by Mike! He was so kind and clearly very passionate about what he does which made me feel so comfortable knowing I was in good hands. He lined up the piercing so it perfectly fit my brow shape, and the process was super smooth and it was pretty painless! He gave me lots of good after care advice and general information on piercings that I wasn’t informed of by prior piercers I had seen. I really appreciated the dedication he has to his craft, and I wouldn’t recommend a different place for piercings!

Great experience would highly recommend anybody to go here, very professional made sure I was aware of aftercare and told me step by step or what he was dealing with my piercing. He made me feel very comfortable. The place was very clean and nice cant say enough good things about my experience.

I took my daughter in for her first piercing and Micheal is the absolute BEST body modification professional I have ever worked with. He is highly experienced and knowledgeable, in his trade. Communicating with him in the appointment process was very simple. The fact that he and the client are the only people in the shop during the appointment just blows me away! What a great way to make you feel relaxed and comfortable. It really makes the experience one of a kind. He explained each step in the process (tell, show, do) so we knew exactly what to expect. A true professional. We will definitely come see Michael for all of our future needs!

Michael was very accommodating in communicating with me with his cellphone as I am Deaf & that made a huge difference with clear communication for the nose piercing service. Admittedly I was nervous because I assumed there was going to be a device that quickly pierces the nostril but its done by hand. He explained everything every step of the way. The piercing was surprisingly and to my relief very fast and done carefully with care. Nice range of choices of studs sizes, color, and shape and reasonable prices too. Can ask questions through email to further clarification. Elysium Body Enhancements office is surprisingly spacious, clean, elegantly decorated and theres free parking too. Im pleased with the outcome. Worth the trip from where I live as Im fussy who pierces my body and Michael is the one to go to.

Michael was amazing! Getting my nostril pierced was a super easy experience with him. I felt very calm and reassured with him. He took his time and answered all my questions. This was my first piercing other than my ears, so needless to say I was a bit frazzled to have it done. I was pleasantly surprised that there was very little discomfort from getting pierced. You will be in good hands 🙌🏼 with him.

I have my troubles with finding good piercers and I have gone through a lot but Michael did an amazing job. He lined up my navel piercing perfectly and a day after it barley hurts and it not swollen at all!! He answered all my questions and was extremely friendly. I am recommending him to everyone!

Michael did a flawless job! I had several ear and cartilage piercings done today. His bedside manner was incredibly warm and open. He was very precise and gentle with his work. I truly cannot recommend Michael enough. My appointment started in time and I felt comfortable from the moment I walked in. Michaels professionalism was top notch. The piercing was quick, painless and exactly what I wanted. My favorite part? He marked a couple of placement options and let me pick which one I liked best. Sounds simple, but Ive never had that offered before. I also appreciated the saline spray and his willingness to change jewelry (that I brought with me) in my other piercings.

Katrina has been the best tattoo artist. Her work is top notch and would highly recommend. She has set up the environment to be extremely calm and relaxing. I’m incredibly glad I found her to bring my vision of a sleeve I’ve been wanting to life. As it’s still a work in progress I don’t have any pictures yet. Like all of the top notch artists in the area she is booked out several months, so be patient with process.

Wonderful experience!! I contacted Michael (via email listed on the website) for a change of jewelry. Not only was he friendly but he got back to me very quickly and got me into his schedule. Once in his studio, he welcomed me warmly and helped me pick out a style of nose ring that was perfect for me. He only sells top quality jewelry and never pressured me to pick something I didnt want. I was given fantastic advice on caring for my piercing, and he made the jewelry switch quick and painless. The studios atmosphere and techniques are very clean and I really just had a blast being there with him in general. I highly recommend him. With a sea of options to choose from when it comes to piercings, its hard to pick someone you feel safe with but Michael stands out above the rest. Will not be using anyone else but him in the future!

If you are looking for a place to get your kids ears pierced, this place is amazing! Michael pierced our 9 year olds ears and did a great job. He took the time to thoroughly clean everything and explain the process and the aftercare. My very nervous 9 year old was put at ease by him and hardly felt a thing. A few weeks after her piercing she was having a bit of irritation (not infection) and he realized she needed a different post size and made an appointment to see her immediately and fix the issue. We highly recommend Michael and Elysium for piercings.

I was very impressed with Elysium it was very clean. Mike was awesome! He talked me through the whole process answered any questions. I was a bit nervous at first. He did my nose and it was quick and painless. He did my ears which I had done before but over time closed he quickly did that. I was very expressed and left with 3 new piercings. Katrina tattooed my son’s handwriting on my forearm in September. It was my first tattoo, and the experience was everything I hoped it would be. Katrina was kind, patient, and easy to talk to throughout the consultation and the tattoo itself. She explained the entire process to me and made me feel super comfortable. If I ever decide to get another tattoo, I would definitely contact Katrina again.

Lovely experience! I couldn’t make my first appointment and he was very understanding and quick to respond about rescheduling. The piercing was seamless and not very painful. I’m extremely happy with the result!

Michael is an amazing piercer and person. He has done 7 piercings on me, and all are lovely. I have moved from Ohio, but still stop in when I pass through because he cant be beat! Well we just moved out to Ohio and I wanted to treat myself to a piercing, Ive been wanting the Daith pierced for sooooo long so I googled places and this shop came up and looked really intriguing! Loved Michaels bio on the website and went with my gut. I didnt realized that it was by appointment only but as I walked up Michael was sitting outside and said no worries it was perfect timing!He was so chill and we vibed very well! The piercing didnt hurt and was super fast! The jewelry is what hurt but cant have it all not hurt whats the fun lol . I am already looking into what I should get next, cant wait to come back soon (with an appointment of course).

Michael was amazing! He was able to get an appt for me quickly and was super nice about me having to push the appointment back 15 minutes due to my previous appointment running late. He was very approachable, answered all my questions and talked to me the whole time which really calmed my nerves. You can tell he has had a lot of experience with nose piercings and that he continues to do his research to stay up to date. The shop itself was very clean and he autoclaved all the tools that would be used in front of me and did a thorough hand washing! Cant recommend this place enough!

Believe the Michael hype! He is very professional and a great piercer. I was nervous/excited when I first came in and he eased my nerves. He’s also very informative, made sure I knew what was needed for aftercare and answered any questions I had.I’ve already gotten three piercings and plan to get a few more once they heal. I got my helix cartilage pierced here. Michael was very nice and took the time to explain everything, cleaned everything very well, and took the time to make sure the piercing was in a spot i was happy with. he explained the after care and provided cleanser as well. i am very pleased with the final product and he made me feel very comfortable and relaxed.

Michael has done many piercings for me over the last decade. The most recent was my nose, and I love it. His professionalism is like no other. He will help you make a decision, if you are unsure. He will teach you about your very best options. He only carries quality jewelry. You will not be disappointed.

Katrina and Michael are fantastic! Very welcoming, communicative, and clean. They’ve created such a peaceful and inclusive environment. I’d wanted a tragus piercing for a long time but the last piercing experience I had was at a place where I instantly felt “out of place” and like every eye was on me for not fitting the mould. I’m glad my husband gave me the push I needed to try this place on a whim. We’ll be back soon!

I didn’t ever get to the tattoo, and here’s why. I am still pretty new to the tattoo scene and as I just moved to Columbus, I wanted to make sure that I found an artist who was the right fit for me. I’ve only ever had one artist before. I did a lot of research and reached out to Katrina with really high hopes. It took over a month for her to reply, which I was fine with. There was an automatic message letting me know that it would be a while due to demand of services, and I was expecting there to be a wait. I was really impressed with her work and all of the reviews seemed great. When she eventually did get back to me, I was so excited to set up the consultation. When we finally got to meet in person, I (already anxious) was disappointed when she was cold and impersonal to me. I showed her some tattoos that I was thinking of and my ideas for my future look, and she seemed unimpressed, judgmental, even offended. I honestly am not sure why she was so cold with me, but I knew almost immediately that the vibes were off and this was not going to be my tattoo artist that I move forward with. But I had been so excited and felt so awkward when everything was way different than I expected, so I scheduled the first tattoo session with her and paid the deposit (which I would later find out was non-refundable). I went home disappointed and thought over that night about whether I wanted to try it out anyway, but eventually decided not to move forward. I reached out and asked her if I could cancel my appointment. Again, it took some time to get back to me, but she eventually sent me an email that the deposit is non-refundable BUT since I gave her so much notice and she wouldn’t have any trouble filling the slot, she would be willing to refund. I paid 107ish for the deposit, and she said that I would probably get 97 back after the processing fee. Fine. But then weeks and then months went by with no return. I reached back out a few times in the interim, trying to check in and see what was up. They don’t ever answer the phone, and they don’t ever answer texts. She finally emailed back that she was out on vacation or something and would get the payment through when she got back. Fine. It ended up taking almost four months to get this refund processed, and when it finally went though, it ended being around 87. Emailed back asking for clarification and expressing frustration at this process, and she responded with a really unkind message and accused me of wasting her time. Overall, I am just upset at the whole thing based on the positive reviews I read. I’m wondering if there is some unspoken rule that I haven’t learned about the tattoo artist world that I broke? I don’t underhand what I did to deserve being treated as badly as Elysium has. Overall, I honestly wouldn’t recommend this artist or studio. They are not as professional or courteous as the rest of the reviews make them seem. For me at least, I need professionalism and respect as much as actual skill. I will be looking for an artist who respects me and my time and who doesn’t turn to insults in order to validate their own anger when they agreed to pay a refund in the first place.

Michael was 110% wonderful. Polite and respectful and extremely comfortable working with our 8 and 10 yr old girls. Tattoo/piercing business is the way to go for ear piercing. .

My friends and I went here to get doubles and septum piercings. Mike was very friendly and put us all at ease when we were nervous, and made great conversation. Im still healing from my piercing 3 weeks ago. Ive never had a smoother piercing experience, and Michael knows what he is doing with many years experience. The equipment to the jewelry to the actual piercing was all fantastic. I wont go anywhere else from now on!

My daughter had a great experience getting her ears pierced for the first time. Michael was very educational and he made us feel very comfortable. I also had two additional cartilage piercing added, and it was nearly painless!

Katrina is a GEM!! I felt extremely taken care of and respected throughout the whole process--the design, the tattooing, and the aftercare (She even gave me a little aftercare kit! Extremely convenient and thoughtful). It was all very professional, very clean and safe, and also very human--I felt that I could really trust Katrina with my body and the personal significance of my tattoo. She is a great artist and a great human!The studio is also very relaxing and has a very calm ambience. Great experience all around.

I got a botched forward helix piercing on vacation in Florida, so I called asking for help. Michael was awesome and booked an appointment for me the next day to come in and have it get looked at. He is incredibly knowledgeable, said the piercing was placed at the wrong angle, and was able to tell me what he would have done instead. He was very professional, clean, and knowledgeable!! Although I didn’t get pierced here, I will definitely come back to Michael the next time I want a piercing!

Such a great first experience at Elysium! I have been a fan of Mike for years. Super elated and grateful to see he opened Elysium. I love the one and one vibe versus going to a busy piercing parlor where youre just another number. The space of Elysium is so cool and clean. I love the energy in there. I got an industrial bar piercing and was a little nervous but Mike made me feel super comfortable and was so quick! I love that he talked me through everything. My friend came with me and got his tragus done also. We both left very happy, and Im already planning to go back for another piercing in a few months. Mike is the only one I trust to pierce me! If youre looking for a dope piercing spot that takes care, Elysium is your place.

Ive been wanting a belly button piercing for a while now but I was too scared. Michael is so good at piercings he made me feel so comfortable and I would never go anywhere else to get a piercing. This is absolutely the best place to get any piercing. Michael, the guy who pierced my nose was very informative and talked me through step by step. As a first timer when getting a piercing, Michael was a natural. He was very kind and was very patient when picking out my nose stud and when my anxiety was very high. He also happily conversed with me my questions about my nose piercing. Overall, I definitely would recommend this place if you are looking to get a piercing.

Absolutely amazing piercer, would not ever go anywhere else. Amazing quality all around from the tools used, to the artist, to the jewelry! I got my ears double pierced for Christmas (I’m 14). The staff is VERY friendly and professional. They gave me an aftercare baggie which included the necessary solution needed, along with a pen and some stickers :) They walked me through the process so I understood what was going to happen along with making sure I was comfortable. It was a lovely experience. I couldn’t recommend them more! 5 stars, 10/10.Thank you for the piercings! :)

Katrina has done 3 of my tattoos now and ever time they turn out stunning. They are my favorite tattoos and Ill continue coming to her for all my tattoos while I live in Ohio. Her work is well worth the price, any waits, and for me a 2 hour drive. She provides a clean friendly environment and insane good quality artwork. Will always reccomend.

Absolutely loved it!! I got my Helix and Daith both done and my sister got both her Daith and Tragus done. The piercings were very little pain if any at all and it was a very calm environment. Michael talked to my sister and I the whole time and made us feel welcomed. He talked us through what he was doing and explained what he was doing as well. I cant even began to praise Katrinas beautiful work on my chest. Weve only just started on a cover up but so far it was an amazing experience. First you Walk into the shop, its clean it smells clean its beautiful theres art everywhere. Then you meet Katrina shes kind, she listens, she gives you feedback, she makes sure your on the same page before you head out. The day of your appointment shes ready. I had a great experience here at Elysium! I originally had wanted the triple forward helix but Micheal took his time looking at my ear and was honest about possibly not being able to fit three piercings. He was very thorough when it came to marking my ear to make sure it would sit perfectly and what a second piercing would look like. The piercing itself was quick and a big difference from the past two piercings I had is that there isn’t a lot of pain afterwards. Today is the second day and the only discomfort is when I smile.I also have been having trouble with a daith piercing and he took the time to look and examine to find what would work for the piercing. He was able to suggest jewelry that would be the best fit and it has made a huge difference on how it feels.Micheal was very knowledgeable and passionate about his work and it shows. I will be sure to come back for future piercings.

Ive been getting tattooed by Katrina for a while now. Began working on a large chest back and arms piece for the past 7 years. She is easy to work with and has a pretty soft touch. I came in with a general design in mind and she took over and made it even better. She does an amazing job with detail work and her lines are pretty clean. All in all, the only complaint is that shes usually booked out a little ways. I guess that means that people like her work, though.

It was late in life when I decided to get inked (65 y/o) so I had lots of time to pick my artist. After a year of research, Katrina was my choice. Easy decision to go with her after we met and talked. I have 10 separate tattoos that Katrina wove into one life story. I wanted a collage of my experiences, (Military, Teacher, Firefighter/Paramedic, Parent and retirement). I doubt that any other artist could have created the synopsis in ink that Katrina did.
