Modern Craft Tattoo

This was such an amazing shop to visit and get work done! I got my first tattoo here, and Aubrey was absolutely wonderful to work with! The art she made and put on my body makes me beyond happy! the experience was top-notch! at all times, I was asked if i was doin ok and if i was in any discomfort so that was really nice! Whomever takes care of all those plants, A++ The whole vibe of this shop is just nice and non chaotic. I highly recommend this shop to anyone looking for a quality tattoo and experience!

The vibes in the shop are beautiful. Definitely a relaxing vibe. Feliz is an amazing tattoo artist. Made me feel comfortable and her work is so beautiful. Will be coming back for more pieces and touch ups

I got my first tattoo done here by Tiffany! She has done three different tattoos on me and she does amazing work! She is so accommodating and funny. She truly is an amazing person and she makes me feel very welcome and at home.The last time I was here I got tattooed by Mia! I am head over heels for my rib tattoo. She was so sweet and made sure I was comfortable the whole time.I love this shop and everyone is so nice. It’s an all women business and I love the atmosphere and the beauty of the shop Honorable mention is how sweet Jess is. She tattooed two of my friends on a flash day and she laughed with us and completely let us be ourselves.

My experience with Mia at Modern Craft started out very good! I have had one consult and 3 sessions for a cover up/Full back tattoo. It has been almost a year that I started this journey with Mia. I came in for my 4th sessions to be told that she does not feel she can finish my tattoo. She emailed me the night before. This appointment had been made over 3 months ago and after a consult and 3 sessions she is just now figuring this out?? I have half my back done and now have to find someone else to complete it. I am very disappointed in how this was handled. She was not there when I showed up for my appointment, I did not look at my emails the night before. The person at the front informed me that they do not have my phone number but I fill out paperwork at every appointment that includes my phone number. I drove an hour and half for my appointment, My time, my money all wasted. This is something that is permanent. It means a great deal to me. . .

Loved the environment, Mia was great with my first tattoo! She was very communicative about the whole process and made sure I was comfortable, will be going back!

The atmosphere is great. Went with Aubreigh Lynn. Great job. Took her time to make sure placement was on point Incredibly detailed and accurate to what I was wanting

We found this shop a couple of years ago. Ive been getting work done for over 30 years now, by several artists over the years. The new work that both Mia and Feliz have done on me is nothing short of amazing!!! I was so impressed with their work, that I have had both of them start on covering almost every existing piece I have. My wife and my daughter both go there now for their artwork. I was always a real hard healer, and often regretted getting work done, because it healed so rough. Since I have been having Mia and Feliz do my work, I have NOT ONCE had any heavy scabbing. In fact, every tattoo that I have received from both artists, has never scabbed, but gone straight to pealing . I am so impressed with their work, I am having my entire body suit done at Modern Craft. The shop is incredibly clean and vibrant, and the shop personnel are super cool. Katie and Hannah do an amazing job of helping run the operation, and they are always helpful and super nice. I highly recommend this shop for any level of artwork you want done. You will not be disappointed.

Ive had several artists over the years, and both Mia and Feliz are by far and away the best. Once I seen their talent level, I decided to cover up 90% of my existing work. I will never go to another shop for my work. Our entire family now goes here

I am really impressed by this place! I got tattooed by Becka. There was a small miscommunication due to me changing my design request midway through our email conversation we had prior to my appointment, but Becka handled it extremely well and had a new drawing finished in no time. The vibe of the shop is very comfortable and relaxing. The artists seem friendly and easy to talk to. Becka’s tattooing skills were great and not heavy-handed, and her hourly rate is very reasonable even though she has been tattooing for about 10 years. One thing to be aware of is that you will probably want to get in touch well in advance of when you want your appointment due to the time it takes to book an appointment and communicate your design ideas.Thanks for the great experience!

I got my first tattoo here. All the artists are friendly and really helpful. My artist was Feliz, she did an amazing job and gave me exactly what I was looking for, she was super nice and made me feel comfortable. The tattoo is absolutely beautiful! I definitely recommend this shop

Feliz is seriously the sweetest, and most welcoming person! She took my ideas and brought them life, she gave me the most beautiful tattoo that I am in love with! I literally cried when I saw it finished. She is so incredibly talented, and works fast. I am forever one of her clients now, and I will only go to her. The shop has such an awesome feel, love the plants, and artwork! Everyone there is so kind and professional, I cannot say enough good things about this shop!

Didnt want to honor the $80/hr for the apprentice rate via email, and now they totally wont respond to me.

I came to modern craft tattoo with absolutely no idea what to get, given that I had no tattoos previously. I had booked an appointment with Mia, one of modern craft tattoo’s apprentices, and when I first met her I knew that the service I was going to receive here would be like no other. Not only is this business female-run, they genuinely care about what is going on your body. I’ve attached a picture of my newest tattoo that Mia helped me design, and right off the bat when I brought up this idea with her she helped me to pick a place that would be both meaningful and practical, and explained the entire process to me. This was my second tattoo at modern craft… I came back because of how impressed I was with Mia’s work and her personality.If you want a tattoo from a studio that is clean, professional, and from artists who design everything from the heart, this is the place for you.If you want simple art, cartoons, person designs, or realism, you can get it all here. Including lettering, which I was the most impressed by!I will definitely be back!

I have paid for plenty of tattoos in my life... but I would never step foot in this shop. The owner frequently plagerizes and directly copies other famous and local artists original drawings & designs. Artistic integrity is not in this shops bag. I physically know two artists who have been ripped off and never compensated nor credited for their work in any fashion.

Love Feliz she always does such a good job on all of my tattoos. Always has great artistic skills and a really great and unique mind. Shes done 3 tattoos on me and they always come out beautiful and never blow out.

I have two tattoos from Feliz and they are both by far my favorite pieces. Becka and Feliz are both amazing women and in my opinion the most talented tattoo artist in northern Arizona. The whole experience from start to finish was seamless. They were very professional and take great pride in doing things the right way, going above and beyond to make me you feel well taken care of and comfortable throughout the entire process. I wont go to any other tattoo shop in Arizona. Thank you guys!

The shop is sparkling clean and everything is laid out so nicely. The decor all vibes together and it just feels very inviting. Both becka and feliz are incredibly nice and you really feel like youre in the hands of experts. They take sanitation VERY seriously which is obviously great. They talk to you about your tattoos, the design, the placement, the aftercare. You really can tell theyre dedicated to their craft. Ive had 2 tattoos done by Becka, both were quick, healed great and still look fresh a year+ later. She also communicates when a certain color or line might hurt which is so nice. Ive followed them from 2nd Street to Modern Craft and theres really no reason to go elsewhere! Everything you could possibly want in a tattoo shop!

I cannot recommend this shop enough! Beautiful work by talented ladies. Everyone is so friendly and polite, the space is clean, and the vibe is all-around nice to be in. The candy jar is a bonus as well, lol.

Extremely professional and a great enviroment to be in. They take great care in what they do in the shop and always a positive vibe. This shop is just an all around great place to get tattoos done. Highly recommended in my opinion.
