Today, my 5 year old came to get her ears pierced. Charlie was her piercer. He was ABSOLUTELY fantastic. He was polite, sweet, respectful and knowledgeable. All of the staff were all of that! Its the little things you noticed, like asking my daughter permission before he did ANYTHING! Can I touch your ear? Is that ok? Can I mark your ear with this marker? Can I clean your ears with this orange stuff? EVERY STEP! It was so amazing. It makes a difference. Their earrings are made of titanium, a high quality metal. Going in I was taken back by the price, but now I honestly feel its totally worth it! Charlie thank you so much for making Violets first piercing experience a fantastic one!

Went to get a double nostril piercing on my birthday July 8th. The shop was clean and impeccable. They offered many high quality jewelry options. I was pierced by Vanna, who was very chill and welcoming. They were very informative on what to expect and how to care for the piercing. Even as an experienced pierced person, I deeply appreciate Vannas dedication to professionalism. It made me feel like my piercing and my experience in the shop was respected. Glad I ended up here to get pierced.

I’ve had two piercing emergencies in the past year (they didn’t initially pierce me) and both times they were so accommodating to get me in and help me, their bedside manner was fantastic. Very clean, very understanding, very thorough. Because they’ve helped me out in such a great way so many times they’ve definitely got my recommendation as an awesome go-to. Can’t wait til my next piercing allowance, they’ll have a customer in me!

Ear piercing was completely painless. Piercer was super patient and kind, taking the time to ask for consent before every step. Super high quality jewelry too. Definitely recommend!

Clean, open and inviting space. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable. J did my piercing and talked me through every step. I will say that although the piercing prices match up with other shops-its the jewelry that sets Rockstar apart from the others. It is high quality jewelery and with that being said, very expensive!! So be prepared and ask questions. Overall great experience.UPDATE:Went back because the bar on one of my piercings was too small. The staff was very professional and Jessie handed out some good knowledge and energy. If I get any more piercings, they will always be done at Rockstar!

Unless you wanna pay $200+ for a simple piercing like a septum! Don’t come here. They don’t have any options for septum jewelry. I asked if they had any spiked ones, they said they would’ve charged me an extra $50. So obviously I said no. It was the first piercing I ever got. I feel like I got scammed. There’s so many other places you can go in providence that have completely reasonable prices. Don’t waste your time and money. They may be nice, and have a good vibe. But so do many other piercing shops 🙄

Took my teen here for a piercing. Before we even made an appointment I called twice with various questions and they were super helpful and patient. Upon arrival all staff there at the moment were also friendly and put us both at ease. The place is not very big and I wondered if they had too small of a selection but that proved false as we got closer to the counters. They have beautiful jewelry artistically arranged not only behind the counter glass but on stands in the middle of the store. They are truly pieces with character! Super clean place. Not super cheap compared to other places we considered but definitely worth it.

Great overall experience! Staff was extremely friendly and professional. I wish I would have gotten the name of the person behind the counter because they were great! I had to wait a bit before my piercing and they were super nice, funny, and made the whole process very enjoyable. For anyone whose nervous or getting their first piercing I 10000% recommend Rockstar Body Piercing. The man who did my piercing was extremely knowledgeable and made sure I was 100% comfortable!

I had such a great experience!! The people at the desk were so friendly and helpful! I was deathly nervous for my bridge piercing but jay was amazing! His entire energy is so calm and contagious. Super disappointing. Came years ago and it was a significantly better experience. The prices have gone WAY up, literally hundreds of dollars for ONE earring otherwise your choices are super limited. Almost zero middle of the road pricing. We came as a group and expected, as last time, at least one person would be allowed in during their piercing but nope. And that info was not kindly shared. They’ve truly managed to suck the fun out of the whole experience, and it’s not a friendly atmosphere at all. I feel bad I recommended them after having had a better experience years ago, everybody left disappointed. If you’re planning to get a piercing and would like it to be a happy, fun, relaxed vibe, don’t go here unless you want to spend $500+ for a standard piercing and sit in the waiting area for your friends.

Rockstar experience! Wholesome and clean shop, knowledgeable staff and a very nice selection of jewelry. It’s a great place for a first ear piercing at any age or more holes for those that love the art of it. Conveniently located for eating and shopping on Wickenden Street in Providence before or after your visit.

Megan was definitely a rockstar in guiding me through the process. Ill definitely recommend her for all piercings. She was so pleasant and made it a breeze for me. Loved everyones customer service!

I don’t know why they have people make an appointment when they can’t stick to the appointment time. This is the third time making an appointment and waiting over 20 minutes to be seen when there’s not even a lot of people waiting. I’m over it. It’s rude. Constantly reminding you just a few more minutes and it turns into 20! They cash you out prior so you’re stuck.

The piercers are great. They did a great job getting my nose pierced in November. I went back a few months later to get the post shorted as they told me to. They refused to do it since my piercing was still a little swollen. I told them it keeps getting snagged since it sticks out from my nose pretty far. I have a small nose and when pushed in all the way it hits my septum. They told me to come back in a few more months. So, I went back today (4 months after) since I wanted to change for a loop. They told me it is still not healed enough for a loop. They said it could be because it gets caught on things…. Yes like I said two months ago. They finally agreed to put in a shorter post. I wanted to get a loop for the future for when it does heal, and they got VERY irritated. After much back and forth they finally sold it to me. When I got home, I realized they did not give me the piercing I asked for. Since they dont accept returns I am now out the money for a piercing I didnt ask for, didnt want, and will never use. Will not be returning to a business that does not want to do business.

Would 100% recommend this place! Came here w my daughter, who is super nervous about needles. They were soooo patient with her, gentle, playful, and then in the end when she was too scared, they were so nice about it. The piercer, Vanna, told her “I want you to do this when you’re excited and relaxed, you can totally say not today and we can always try again another time.” Even after spending 20 min w us or so, they immediately offered a refund and we’re so sweet. When it’s time, we’re definitely coming back!

Have had 7 piercings done at Rockstar (in this photo the daith, lower of the helixes, stacked lobe, and conch) and they are just the best. You should go here if you’re getting pierced in RI, full stop. They know what they’re doing, it’s professional and a great environment, and they use the best quality jewelry only. Love this spot and would recommend to anyone for any piercing!

The shop is clean and calm. I was nervous at first because I have a lot of medical trauma but Jason was the perfect person for the job. He has a steady and peaceful disposition that made me feel at ease. Id been wanting to get my nose pierced forever and Im so glad that the stars aligned in a way that Jason did it. Im convinced that hes a warlock because I didnt feel a thing! He listened to my story and made the experience a cosmic treat. Im thrilled and will be returning again and again.

Im not sure how long theyve been at the new spot but its really nice. Very aesthetically pleasing space with great displays and waiting area. Minimal colors to highlight the jewelry. Clean, sanitary, professional service rooms and a great staff. I only stopped in for a jewelry change, but I highly recommend Sam as hes pierced me before, although Im sure that everyone there is talented and great at what they do!

Highly recommend this place! My five year old had been wanting her ears pierced for months and she finally worked up the courage this afternoon. We made an appointment and Charlie did such an excellent job, from talking my shy girl through the process to the actual piercings. She had some doubts last minute and he struck the perfect balance of encouraging without being at all pushy, and was SO patient with her. I left feeling incredibly impressed with the whole experience. 10/10.

I took my little sister here to get her nose pierced. The place is really clean and they have a variety of jewelry.We initially went for a lip piercing but because of covid theyre not doing anything in or around the mouth so we went with a second nose piercing.Its kind of expensive and we had to wait like 45 mins to be seen even though no one was ahead of us. So thats the reason for the 4 🌟.

Super professional and an amazing experience. They take their time, make sure we feel comfortable and help with breathing along the way. I am in love with my piercing. My fiance got their ears pierced too and are healing great!

I get all my piercings in jewelry here, I just got my Medusa pierced last week, I told the guy piercing, this is not center to me. Granted it was to the right the smallest amount, I told him to put it more to the left SEVERAL times. He did not listen to me, he did not take it off the purple marker, he instead chose to just put the iodine on my upper lip without confirming that’s where I wanted it. I thought he was removing the marker but when I looked he was moving on to the next step. Regardless, if he thought it was center or not, it is my face - not his. It only matters to me if it looks center, he will never see it again. I’ll see it everyday. Like I said, it’s only a little off, but it’s enough for me to notice every single time I look at it. No one else would notice, but it’s my face. Piercers should confirm that’s where the client wants their piercing done. Not just move on with the process and go on with the piercing. And enough with trying to upsell the jewelry guys, if I want the expensive stuff, I will buy it. I usually do, if I have a piercing I’m not sure if I’m going to keep I get the titanium. Just stop pushing so hard (they use the same line every time- “why buy twice when you don’t have to spend more” the titanium is $45, I’ll live if I want to drop the $200 later for BVLA) and let people get what they want. That’s always common here. I like getting my piercings and jewelry here, there’s just a few things that could be improved.. photo shows that the piercing is not in line with my two front teeth which I wanted the piercing in between my two front teeth making the piercing appear symmetrical…. Clearly isn’t …

Have visited twice over the years for piercings. Both times the staff have been welcoming, patient, knowledgeable, and more. The jewelry is not inexpensive but the quality is amazing and will last years. I appreciate that they welcome walk ins and have later hours. Overall a great experience and I would definitely go again!

My daughter has gotten her belly button, nose, second ear and Helix pierced here. Based off of how many times we’ve come back…CLEARLY you will get the results you’re looking for! They are welcoming, kind, professional and extremely knowledgeable. They only use the best jewelry, products, and they are extremely hygienic in their process. If you have questions or concerns they’re more than happy to answer them. You may be able to find a cheaper place, but you can’t match the experience and comfort in the quality experience you’ll get here! Don’t hesitate. They’re the best!

Fantastic experience. I used to work at a tattoo and piercing shop. and Rockstar had not only eight beautiful layout with a stellar assortment of high-quality jewelry. But it also has probably one of the most cleanest and professional setups for piercing. they had all of the cleanliness that you would expect from a doctors office but with the warmth and care of a staff that you knew what they were doing. I brought my daughter to go get her ears pierced for her seventh birthday and I was really happy that they were able to accommodate a small child because most places dont. I enjoyed the staff so much that I decided to get my nose repierced that day as well.

I have gotten a total of 5 piercings at Rockstar and theyre awesome! The staff is super knowledgeable and friendly. They are very clean and safe with everything they do making sure they follow all state guidelines. I would highly recommend Rockstar and will go there again myself in the future.

Other reviews mention that this place is squeaky clean, absolutely can confirm that!Paperwork was very easy and the whole process was not much longer than 20-25 mins as a walk-in. Staff are very professional and friendly, piercer was very careful to make sure that they were even and I felt like I was in very good hands the entire time. Jewelry is not cheap, but it is legit quality, you really do get what you pay for. Keep it up Rockstar!

Went there about a month ago because my nose ring (from somewhere else) came out and I was in the area so I went to rockstar in hopes they would put it back in for me quick. Instead, I had to pay $200 for a new ring and $10 for them to put it in. I told the woman I needed gold or else I would get a keloid, and I still got a keloid but with my other nose ring that I wanted put back in, I had for a few months and never had an issue. I understand they have policies, but i’m a little upset that I paid $210 for me to get a keloid again.. I came here one other time for my belly button and they were great.

Sam was great and informative while doing my piercing and the ladies Lane and Kate were very helpful in the front!

Was super nervous to get my piercing done! The staff went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable! It was so fast and so easy! The business was unbelievably clean. Felt like I was in a Dr. Office. (Which I don’t necessarily feel is a bad thing). I would definitely recommend to anyone with getting any type piercings done. My nose has healed amazingly as well. They also had a beautiful selection of jewelry to choose from. 100% will be going a returning customer.

I came in and asked to have my ear piercings sized. I had taken out my 00g plugs out and had let my piercings shrink considerably. I wanted to be sized to know what size jewelry to buy. I was refused service, which I really dont understand why. I was happy to pay to be sized and wanted to spend money on jewelry.

Rockstar is always fantastic! Not only did they fit me in last minute but they helped me pick out just the right jewelry and kindly explained the procedure process to me. They never fail to be understanding and thorough! I drive an hour to get here for any jewelry or piercing because I trust them.

Went in for my second set of lobe piercings and an industrial piercing. Everyone working there was really nice and welcoming. They were informative and took the time to find out exactly what I wanted. They really went above and beyond. Dustin did my piercings and they did an amazing job. They gave me the whole how to take care of your healing ear holes talk and then gave me some great recommendations for live music, which was super appreciated being new to the area. My lobe piercings are perfectly even, a feat to behold because my heads on crooked due to scoliosis lol. My industrial is so cute and angled so nicely. Dustin was quick and precise. Thank you all so much, I love my new piercings!

Along with being very clean, the place was so nicely organized. I had a great first impression. Making my appointment was fast, and the person on the phone was very nice. Getting there, the process was super simple. The people were very nice, and helpful. Dustin was my piercer and did an amazing job. Its been a while since this happened, but since Ive been to better places and learned a lot more about piercings, I realize how unprofessional this was now. I went in to get two piercings and buy matching jewelry for a third one. When it came time to pick jewelry, the person behind the counter sounded upset I wanted to buy more jewelry than piercings I was getting. Eventually she let me. Then she only showed me opal pieces when I was thinking gold colored ones. There was a display of different shaped gold colored pieces right next to the opals she was showing me and when I pointed them out, she told me they didnt have enough of them for me to get some. She told me two different color combinations of opals I could pick from and chose the sizes of the tops for me. I was never given the opportunity for input. I wanted all the same size and she picked that each one would be a different size. The biggest one was too big to fit in the area at all and she seemed upset when the piercer pointed that out. By that point, I didnt know what to say and felt my input wasnt valued at all, so I ended up with 2 of one size and 1 of a different size. The piercer was sweet and did a good job, but on top of all of this, these were 2 of the hardest piercings I have ever had to heal. Theyre ear lobe piercings. I also had an appointment for this, so it wasnt even that they were fully booked and just squeezed me in as a walk in. That was by far the worst piercing experience I have ever had and that includes several times at claires when I didnt know better.

I really liked this place. I went here to get my nose repierced. They do take walk ins, but there is a longer wait. They told me the wait would be an hour and a half and asked me if I wanted to schedule instead. I told them I’d wait and ended up being seen within 30 minutes. The piercer was awesome. I told him I was nervous as I hadn’t gotten a piercing in 5 years. He talked and walked me through the entire process and told me I was doing great. He made me feel comfortable, and he did a great job piercing me.This place is super pricey, but you have to understand it’s because they’re high end, have super professional piercers, and only offer high quality jewelry. Even their most basic pieces are high quality. You know no matter what jewelry you go with here you’re getting good quality jewelry that minimizes the risk of infection, rejection, and flaring up skin conditions. This is super important to me as I have metal allergies and eczema .They also sell aftercare products for only $10 which is a good price. The girl at the front desk who helped me was awesome and patient with me. I will 100% be back for more ear piercings and jewelry. There’s not many piercing places of this caliber.

I can not recommend this place enough! It was my first time coming here and the whole experience was just *chefs kiss* I had to reschedule once last minute and they were super kind and understanding. I have gotten these piercings once before and was nervous because of my last experience, but they did all they could to make me feel comfortable, which totally worked. My 16 year old wanted their ears pierced. I did lots of research and looked at a lot of businesses. Rockstar Body Piercing was the perfect fit for us. Everyone on the phone, at the shop and the body piercer were excellent. There was no rush to select jewelry, everything was very clean and sterile. I was so pleased with the service we received and so was my teen. Thank you Rockstar for a very positive experience. Lastly, if you are not familiar with this area of Providence there was lots of street parking available.

Love Rockstar! They have beautiful and real sterling silver and gold. I went into Rockstar for a diamond lip stud. They put them in for me, and I made sure that it couldnt get lost. Very nice people work at Rockstar in Providence, Rhode Island. You can just walk in or make an appointment

I visited at the end of 2021 and was considering going back, but decided against it. I did not feel welcome at all coming into this shop for the first time. The girl with a dark complexion and shaved head said “sup” like she was extremely annoyed that a customer came in. I was in for a scheduled appointment and anytime I had questions about it or jewelry she acted very irritated like she did not want to speak with me, even though everyone else was already taken care of. She hardly behaved as though she was even interested in selling any pieces. I had to ask multiple times about what type of jewelry is offered for what I was getting done and she kept on dismissing me to wait for the piercer. No, he did not have the jewelry in his room, it was all displayed behind the counter and in hidden cabinets where the front desk had access. I swear, it was like pulling teeth to get anything out of her.I can understand a simple “we have great options, but it’s best to wait for the piercers advice before making any final decisions.” but instead I got scolded for considering pieces I might return to the store for later, like during the 2 month check up. I never went back.The piercer himself was fantastic, the complete opposite. So five stars to him and 0 stars to the front desk. She made me feel invisible and unworthy. There are so many people looking for work in piercing and tattoo shops that are actually willing to show interest and compassion, being a lot more deserving than the person behind the desk. Take your business elsewhere, your kindness and money is better spent where customers are treated like actual people.

Charlie pierced my 6 year old daughters ears and did a fantastic job! He was so patient, kind, understanding, and calm with her! I highly recommend going here for your piercings!

I usually never write reviews but I had such a great experience I definitely felt the need to share. My first impression was that the shop was spotlessly clean and I was greeted immediately as I walked in. The front desk person Rose was super helpful with my jewelry selection. It was hard to decide what I wanted because they had so many cute options to choose from. By the time I went in for my actual piercing, I definitely felt very informed about what the healing process would be like and what everything would cost. I was a little nervous, but the piercer Peter was very professional and made me feel so comfortable. I have a lot of tattoos and piercings, gotta say this is probably one of the best experiences I’ve had. I’ll be telling all my friends to go to Rockstar from here on out.

Ive gotten 6 or 7 piercings done here and every time has been a 5 star experience. All the piercers are absolute experts, and know how to handle different peoples anatomy and how to place piercings to look good on people. Its incredibly clean, sterile and professional when it comes to piercing time. The customer service is amazing and maybe the biggest reason why I keep coming back. Everyone is very nice, pleasant, and you always feel taken care of. Even today, I ended up not liking the placement of one of my piercings, and they repierced it free of charge (you can be sure I left a big tip haha). I can highly recommend Jason, who Ive gotten most of my piercings with, and is incredibly skilled, professional, and has great bedside manner when piercing you.

Took my 8yo daughter to get her ears pierced and change out my earring. The front desk staff is amazing, the space is very clean and modern. We worked with Charlie in the studio and he put her at complete ease, walking her through each step, answering her questions and having a lot of patience. Thank you all for a wonderful experience!

I have 3 completely healed cartilage piercings from here now. It has always been clean and professional. The staff, especially the piercers and owner have been great. I have gone for downsizing, a jewelry replacement, and even just a check in for a tough healing piercing, and they have anyways been very helpful. This place always seems to be busy, so I highly recommend if you are traveling from a far especially, to make an appointment ahead of time.

My experience from start to finish was nothing short of amazing! Booking was very simple the man who answered the phone was so nice! I had an emergency the night of my appointment and he rescheduled me with no problem! The day of my appointment the girl at the desk was very sweet and helped me pick out the perfect nose rings! Dustin was EXTREMELY knowledgeable and educated me on nose piercings and made me so comfortable! I was nervous because previously at other piercing shops I had bad experiences, this place made me feel like I was the only customer! I went here for a septum piercing a few weeks back and honestly the staff that attended me with the tattoos on the head was really friendly and so was the other person. the piercing was quick and easy and when i called for tips they were really helpful. will be coming here for any future piercings!

I had a wonderful experience both times I have been to get my ears pierced. The staff was helpful and friendly, the store was impecable and the service was done in a timely manner and very professional. It is worth the splurge.The jewelry selection is beautiful. I highly recommend!

I have such a love hate relationship with this place. When it’s good, it’s great but when it’s bad, it is absolutely awful. The piercers know what they’re doing, I will give them that. I’ve had my nose, ear lobes and navel done. The staff is usually friendly/welcoming. However all that changes when you want to change your jewelry.I got my ears pierced and after having an issue with changing the jewelry, causing the backs to get extremely irritated and swollen, I went in to ask for longer bars/posts. The person looked at my ears and suggested shorter backings! I thought that was ridiculous and stressed I needed longer ones. They refused. I purchased longer backings myself and after a week my ears were fine!Same issue has been happening with my nose piercing. I’ve had a few irritation issues and have gone back here multiple times for help on how to fix it. I’ve followed every suggestion for cleaning etc. and my nose has finally been good for over 6 months now. I went in Saturday 6/18 to get a hoop. The woman at the counter was very nice, and I explained how long I’ve had it healed (over a year) and my issues etc. she told me I could get a hoop.After waiting for over an hour (also an extremely common occurrence here, the wait times are insane) the piercer who finally was able to look at my nose promptly told me they would not be putting a hoop in. I explained all my healing things and how badly I wanted a hoop and knew my nose would be fine. I was bluntly told a hoop would not be happening and again was told I should put shorter jewelry in. I explained I’ve had issues with shorter jewelry and was still told that would fix my problem. The fact that I waited an hour (!) for someone to look at my nose for 3 seconds and tell me no is what frustrates me the most. I didn’t want to fight so I left.I swear this place wants you to ruin your piercings so they can have you take them out to re-heal and pierce them again (which is not cheap and has been suggested to me multiple times whenever I’ve gone in with help for irritation). I am always extremely annoyed after leaving this place, especially considering how much I try to follow their suggestions. I go here specifically because they have quality jewelry and I want to have my piercings for a long time. There is always an air of “I don’t believe you” in almost every interaction I’ve had here. The ego levels of most of the piercers are ridiculous and quite apparent when you try and reason with them.I highly doubt I’ll be back because I’m so tired of being dismissed every time I go. If you want a quality piercing, sure I’d recommend them. But if you want good customer service, go somewhere else.

I got my nose pierced here and I love it. The guy that pierced me told me everything about how to care for it and talked me through everything about what he was doing. It didn’t hurt at all either! The part when it hurt was about 10 minutes after I got it, 2 days later it feels like it isn’t there. The place is VERY clean and everyone that works here is so nice and friendly. I would definitely recommend coming here to get your piercings.

I called and asked about putting a retainer into my medusa piercing they said yes but I had to purchase it from them. I go in and pay $26 for the retainer and to switch the jewelry before they even did it. I specified 16g and 8mm with the girl at the counter and she said yes. The piercer changes it out and the retainer is ridiculously long like a couple mm sticking out of my face so I asked if she would put in a shorter bar, she said no it wouldn’t work and refused to put back in my old jewelry since it was not purchased there (I can’t change it myself) so I was forced to leave with something I was unhappy with and had to go someplace else to pay for them to change back the jewelry. Waste of money. I emailed the shop and will try calling to speak with a manager in a couple days if I do not receive a response.

I cant even begin to say how awesome Charlie is. My daughter is almost 7 and has been asking about getting her ears pierced. She was super excited but naturally a little nervous. Charlie was amazing. He has worked with children in the past and it showed in how well he interacted with Elle. He explained each step to her and acknowledged that its OK to feel nervous. He put her at ease and made her giggle almost the entire time. I am so glad I brought her here. I wouldnt have changed a thing about this experience. Thank you Charlie!

Just left today and yeah it was quite unprofessional. Front desk lady told me it would take twenty minutes for the ear piercing to take place, I ended up waiting 50 minutes and some change. I am a student, I have so much assignments to do than sitting around waiting for almost an hour. Then when I confronted her about the time, the passive aggressive attitude started. I had no other choice as they sell titanium grade piercing which is what works with my skin best. Wish more piercing stores sold this. I definitely don’t think I’ll be returning. This is very appalling. If you want your time wasted, go here for your piercing .

As soon as you walk in you are greeted with friendly faces. I got my ears pierced a week ago and the piercer was extremely welcoming and intelligent. He made the entire process super simple and easy. The studio is very clean and I left happy and satisfied. My wife also came in to get her tragus pierced again after almost a decade and they were able to slip the jewelry in because the hole wasnt actually closed and DIDNT charge her. 10 out of 10 would recommend this shop to everyone.

I ordered a pair of tigers eye plugs that were VERY expensive. I figured I was paying for top, artist quality & waited MONTHS for my plugs. My roommate helped me pick them up, but I was SHOCKED at what she handed me. The size was OBVIOUSLY not 0g or 8mm like I had ordered, rather only measured up to 6mm (2g). When I called to ask the store what happened, like how I paid nearly $100 for the wrong size, when they confirmed my size in store, I was told since the plugs are hand made, there might be discrepancies in size and they were non refundable.The dang thing fell out of my ear the first time I tried to wear them & is officially lost. SO DISAPPOINTED. 0/10I have pics for proof of size discrepancy. If anyone from the store has a solution thatd be sweet. The plugs were straight up the WRONG size from day 1.

For starters, this shop has the friendliest and most helpful employees. I spoke to three out of four employees in the shop that day and everyone was super friendly and inviting. I wasn’t intimidated AT ALL during the process. There was a 12 year old girl their getting her lobes pierced for the first time while I was there, and all the employees made sure she was super comfortable.Second, you’re paying for a truly individualized experience there. All the jewelry is fitted and customized to for you. I have some unfortunate old mall piercings and they recommend jewelry to compliment my old piercings. I never felt pressured into getting up-sold more expensive earrings. I’m definitely going to save up next time to get some more expensive pieces.Finally, amazing piercing quality! I got my rook (generally known as one of the most painful parts of the ear) and helix pierced, and it was the least painful piercing I’ve ever gotten. I was super comfortable, the shop was very clean, and the piercer talked through each step. I’ll definitely be coming here again, and I cannot recommend it enough.

Went to go get my helix + conch pierced last night, and had such a great experience I felt obligated to write a review! The person at the front desk was so kind and informative!! The piercer, Dustin was amazing!! Ive never had anything pierced so fast and with such precision! Very excited to come back for more/visit the JP location :) - I also have to add, I was wearing my mask at the time out of personal preference but when Dustin was showing me how to hack my N95 to make sure my piercings dont get snagged on the straps, he put a mask on while mine was off. The little things count and you guys are awesome!

We had a super experience here today. All of the staff were friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable. We made an appointment by phone before coming over, so the process was smooth.There were two of us, both getting double piercings. The jewelry is pricey, but beautiful and unique. The piercing process was sanitary and professional - - both of our piercers were great.Overall, I have no reservations in highly recommending this place for piercings (and its a unique focus that this is all they do there). We will definitely be repeat customers!

**Edit** My body rejected my cartilage piercings because I opted for Stainless (I have all the allergies). After fighting for months to keep them, I finally admitted defeat and took them out. They healed up SO fast. I called for information twice and both times I was given clear advice without any hassles. I look forward to saving up to try again but with platinum. I replaced my swollen lobe piercings with Stirling (as recommended to try) and within 36 hours my lobes were normal and fully healed into holes within about 8 days.I am new to getting piercings. These were my first ones. I did a pair of lobes (bilateral) and a pair of cartilage piercings on one side. I was anxious about the process and have put it off for at least half a decade because i have ASD and was worried about the sensory overload.Dustin was fantastic at explaining each step. His verbiage is calm and clear, he is thorough, and he makes sure the client breathes through the process.I am on my fifth day and have zero pain in my lobes. My cartilage piercings are still tender obviously, but there is no infection, no swelling, just a small amount of throbbing after doing cleanings.100% will be doing all my future piercings here.

A friend and I made a visit today to each get new ear piercings. She had been here many times but I was a new customer. I can honestly say it was great experience all around. The woman at the front desk was very helpful and friendly. Our piercer Jason was very well educated and made me feel very at ease before, during and after. I will definitely be returning for more!

Theyre on the pricey side but the attention to detail is absolutely amazing. My piercer constantly changed his gloves throughout the process or anytime he touched anything that could contaminate it, and after I was done, I was asked to come in for free followups to check up on the piercing.Really cool and knowledge staff make this business super awesome!

Okay first of all atmosphere!The floating jewelry cases, hardwood, and lighting give it a very clean and pleasing aesthetic, that is very on theme with the area. An overall timeless, professional look that’s is very warm and inviting.Staff was super knowledge, and accommodating to my specific needs. We where able to work out a piece of jewelry in the size shape and color that fit me best, and they where super empathetic and understanding of what it was I was looking for.The Piercer was friendly and calming, they communicated every step of the process in a relaxing and understandable way. When it came to the piercing and after care we discussed a follow up after healing, which made the whole ordeal feel so personable.I specifically chose this location because there clearly stated guidelines for social distancing, and cdc compliance. Everything was reiterated when Making the appointment, and when getting there everyone was masked, and gloved where changed before, and after handling payment, or any contact. This was a very safe feeling environment, in a time where not many places feel safe to go.If I could rate this more them more than 5 stars a would. This was my fist time coming here, but certainly won’t be my last.

I went in today for a nostril piercing and the front staff and my piercer were both incredibly helpful at answering all of the million questions I had, I was walked through the entire process of getting my piercing, they took the proper sanitary measures, and they made sure I was as comfortable and as satisfied as I could be the duration of the time. Above and beyond, I have absolutely not one negative to say about my experience

The absolute best piercing shop. The shop is extremely clean and professional and the only local place I would trust for piercings. Dustin is the best piercer! I honestly don’t think i couldve gone to a better place for my piercings. The environment is so clean. almost like a doctors office. Staff is so welcoming & helpful, (and cute!!). As much as getting a piercing hurts the environment mixed with these lovely people make it so calming. A little expensive but for the work you get& the jewelry they use, it’s worth it. I would trust these guys doing surgery on me lol. Was my first time getting a piercing and they were wonderful. There was a large selection of options on display and after pointing out a few choices I liked, the person helping me pulled a few more suggestions from the back which was what I ended up choosing.I was a bit overwhelmed but the piercer was good at answering questions and telling me how to maintain the new piercing.Currently it is still pandemic times and they were fantastic about keeping distance and managing capacity. I felt completely safe the whole time.

Just went to get the little munchkin’s ears pierced for the first time (she’s 5). The first thing that caught my attention was how clean it was. They have the extra precautions for Covid and it all felt very safe. When we went to choose her earrings, I was impressed with the selection and quality of what they had available. The piercing itself was super quick, and painless. Most importantly, they were incredibly patient and sweet to her. She (and I) give them two big thumbs up!

The shop is super clean, very professional, and my daughter is happy with her ear piercings. Meg was great with her and explained everything clearly. They had a great selection of jewelry to choose from also.

I came here a couple of days ago with a friend to get some piercings done and had an amazing experience. Dustin did the piercings and took the time to answer all of our questions and make us feel at ease. He did an awesome job with placement and was just such a professional throughout the whole experience. You can tell he loves what he does. We drove over an hour to get our piercings done at Rockstar and it was very worth the drive. I will definitely be coming back here if I ever choose to get another piercing. Just a really clean, friendly, and professional place!

The place was extremely clean and beautiful. They have many jewelry options which are all very good quality. Dustin pierced my rook and he was so kind and reassuring. He was very knowledgeable about the aftercare process and I know this earring won’t give me any problems. Would recommend to everyone 10/10.

I have had 4 piercings done at Rockstar. As a female senior citizen, I highly recommend this piercing shop. The counter staff are welcoming and very professional clearly explaining the procedures and protocols, especially during Covid. I was pleased with the restrictions on the number of people allowed in the business during my appointment and all the safety measures they had in place. The shop is spotless. The high-end jewelry selection offered a myriad of gems and gold, especially with my favorite diamonds! Peter Jett has done all my piercings. He is a calming presence in what can be a stressful procedure and was very clear on the after care which is my responsibility. I have been diligent using the saline solution and have followed the tree oil instructions when one piercing became irritated where I slept on it. Rockstar is a piercing shop for people of all ages.

This place is certainly clean and professional from what I could see from the outside. Unfortunately, their policy to have you schedule an appointment and THEN fill out a consent form is backwards. The consent form covers a wide range of topics which will result in you being able to receive the services you seek, or not. Had I been directed to fill out this consent form ahead of time I would know that at this time I cannot have them change my piercing. I recommend they make the consent form available online. Currently the website only includes a fraction of the items covered in the form.

My second nose piercing healed SO fast and the placement was great to match my other nostril. I have gotten several other piercings in the same spot in past years, with no success. The jewelry is sold separately and on the pricier side, but it seems to do great with healing. The stud used in my nostril was longer and had a flat back, which I am so not used to, but is perhaps why it healed so well! I just switched it out for a shorter, corkscrew one after a couple months and it’s great now!

I am so disappointed by this place. I got a piercing done there in 2021. The piercer was knowledgeable, the place was clean and everything went smoothly. They told me when it was all healed to come back and theyd change my piercing for me. I was excited I had a great spot to use for piercings. A couple months went by and I walked in to ask if they would change a piercing that wasnt actually purchased there. They said no with no explanation and dismissed me like she had no time for me. (It was the tattood woman behind the counter with Wanderlust above her eyebrow.) I gave her the benefit of doubt, maybe she was busy and left. A couple months later I called and asked again, maybe hoping for an explanation of why. They gave one, they can only use a specific brand of jewelry otherwise it would damage their sanitation machine. Weird, but fine, I can respect that. So I scheduled an appointment and decided Id purchase from there. I got there, and lady personality was at the counter, but so was the guy who had pierced my ear. She literally couldnt have done more to make sure I felt invisible, or maybe not important enough to be in her presence. The guy, Im sorry I dont remember his name. Was a more helpful. He explained they would change an earring that wasnt bought there, but just from an approved retailer -they want to make sure that the quality of the metal you are putting in your body is good quality - this was a different answer then the last two I had received. He also recommended what size hed change it to and what he wouldnt. Then I told them I had a budget of $350 (which seemed like a reasonable amount). I might have well as told them I was asking for a free piece because they all but laughed in my face. I asked what they had that was in my price range, he said pretty much what you have in now. I asked if we could special order something. ya but it would be months before it came in. I kept standing there hoping theyd come up with a something that would help me out, but it was just crickets. Whatever, I left feeling defeated and bullied. I feel like because I wasnt covered in tattoos or had a bunch of piercings, I wasnt cool enough to be there. Its not that its not a reputable shop, its that they have zero people skills and all the other 1 star reviews prove it. Their piercing is great, just dont attempt to go back for a change, or any help...

I took my daughter who is 5 to get her ears done. She only got one done bc she got scared. She came back twice more and finally did the other ear. Charlie was so good with her and very patient. Not to mention the clean piercing each time. Her ear never bled or was even red. They are just about healed now and they look like she’s had them for years. Amazing job! So glad we chose Rockstar!

I got my earring re-pierced here after my new piercing fell out. They were able to squeeze me in as a walk in, and the staff was very kind and professional. Their cleaning saline solution also works well.

I had a nostril piercing done today and I could not be any happier with it! I was greeted by Peter who was super helpful, patient and made me feel very comfortable with my piercing choice. It was a little busy and while I waited (I didnt have an appointment and I was perfectly happy to wait) I watched Peter handle phone calls, consults with customers, getting gift cards processed with a very pleasant upbeat demeanor. Megan was my piercer and she was so great! She explained in detail all the prep work that she was doing which made me feel at ease. She also talked me thru the entire actual piercing process and she has the most soothing, calming voice! The piercing room was very clean as was the waiting area and rest rooms. There was plenty of street parking within walking distance from the shop. I will recommend Rockstar to anyone looking for a top notch experience and will definitely return in the future.

Had my nostril pierced by Meghan (Im pretty sure that was her name!) at the West location last week.The facility is actually as clean as it looks in the pictures. The person behind the counter was extremely knowledgeable and informative. She helped me pick out my jewelry and was able to urge me to get what I really wanted, but felt shy and nervous about selecting. I couldnt be happier with what I ended up with. She was also super cheerful and not sales-person-y at all.They seemed to spend quite a bit of time sterilizing the instruments and jewelry. The piercer talked me through every step and kept up just enough entertaining conversation to distract me from my nerves.I cant really imagine ever wanting to go somewhere else if I were to get another piercing down the road. They were helpful, friendly and CLEAN! I didnt shop by price, I just let the reviews from around the internet lead me to Rockstar and was absolutely not disappointed. Very happy with the overall experience and with the end result. I will definitely recommend them should the opportunity present itself.Thank you, Rockstar!

Great piercers but the lady at the front desk should be fired. Will not be returning because of her. She should be letting customers choose what piercings they like instead of giving her own opinion. Ended up not like my stud because she would not let me choose for myself. Instead she refused to sell me the one I wanted. I will go elsewhere where I can choose what I want for me because it’s my body and what I like. Her opinion is irrelevant. She also tipped herself without my permission unless you charge taxes on your jewelry, I was told 45 but was charged extra and was not offered a receipt.

Ive had 17 piercings done here and brought my neice for 3 of hers. Its very clean and the staff is impeccable about everything even about what the customers should or should not touch. Ive had some piercings done by Meg and Jason who are both seriously fantastic but Dustin is my personal favorite. Hes knowledgeable, personable, helpful, funny and just an all around great person. Dustin is good at making you feel relaxed when hes poking slightly painful holes in you. The prices of the actual piercing itself are very good. The prices of the jewelry however is quite a bit higher than it needs to be and for that Im knocking off one star. I do like that there is a tip worked out for you on the receipt and that its mandatory because the employees do a great job and deserve to be tipped properly. If you want safety and quality this is the place to go.

Super clean, brightly lit, and welcoming. All the people there were very friendly and helpful. I went in to buy earrings and they offered to install and tighten them for me after I expressed concern over losing them. One of the best piercing shops Ive been to!

I went in for a second lobe and a cartilage piercing. The folks were super chill and nice. They took all the precautions for Covid and everything was clinically clean. Dustin was calming and friendly and explained all about aftercare very thoroughly. They have some very nice pricey jewelry if youve got room in the budget, as well as some perfectly lovely cheaper options.

Covid has finally calmed down & I wanted to get a couple of piercings on my ears. After googling I decided on Rockstar. When I called they were very nice in explaining the pricing, new guidelines, what to expect, etc. I made the appointment, called before I left because their website isn’t updated to regular business hours (open till 10). I found their store/shop to be super clean. They each had on an N95 mask and gloves and explained every step, etc, and helped me register in person via phone app. The piercing room was super clean too. Dustin did my piercing. He had on N95 covered by a surgical mask. He put together a brand new eye mask for himself, the same that a regular surgeon wears, as he was explaining the process and what I should expect before during and after the piercing. He had me stand up to put new paper down the table before I sat and told me the time frame of what to expect for the piercing. I bought 3 simple studs. Before doing the piercing Dustin took off the gloves he had on, washed his hands thoroughly again, dried and put on new pair of gloves. As he pierced my ears he explained why one may sting more than the other. I didn’t realize that they had answered so many of my questions that I had them close late. Planning on going back for 1-2 more piercings. Would definitely recommend that you go there for yours.

Great place to get a piercing. This is the second time Ive had this particular piercing. The first time I had it done at an entirely different shop, anything I was eventually forced to take the piercings out. My experience at Rockstar was a thousand times better than at the other shop. The Rockstar staff was personable, professional, and very talented. They really make the whole piercing experience enjoyable.

Went in this past Sunday to have my rook jewelry changed. They have a great selection to choose from. The piercer (I wish I could remember his name) took a look at my conch piercing which had been done at a different place and was not healing well and suggested some changes to my aftercare. In a few short days its doing so much better. I cannot thank him enough! He was professional and a pleasure to deal with. I will definitely be back.

Absolutely love this place. I had gotten two piercings from another piercer and was having many problems with them. I went to Rockstar to inquire about anything I could do to help the situation. Both times they were extremely accommodating and knowledgeable. They changed both piercings to high quality jewelry and I have had no problems since. Highly recommend this place if you want no a no bs experience.

Ive been coming here for my piercings since I was 20. Im 36. That just shows how long theyve lasted. Its because of their reputation. Super clean, informative, minimalistic space. Beautiful jewelry options to choose from. Not to mention super centrally located right on the East Side. I had my tragus repierced and jewelry changed in the other. Overall it was pleasant, my piercer was chill and knowledgeable. My only thing, and its all me, I just like to know the prices of things. I guess I just dont like to ask because l feel awkward, in particular some of the jewelry lol Im interested in getting another cartilage piercing soon. Ill be in to have the back changed but I Ill probably change the hoop to another diamond stud. Its beautiful.

Not only did they do a great job on my piercing (it healed so quick and well) but I had called on a separate occasion and they helped me tremendously. I was worried about having to take out my piercing for an MRI I had had to take that day and a Rockstar employee took his time explaining how to remove it and place it back in. He calmed my nerves and I really was shocked at how well his customer service was. Thank you all and Ill be back soon!

I took my 5 year old to Rockstar for her first ear piercing. The experience was top notch. Dustin helped her keep her nerves in check and was a total gentleman. She is thrilled with her new earrings. I was a little surprised at the price BUT no cost is too much to ensure a clean, safe environment and people who know what theyre doing. Her ears are healing beautifully; they never even bled, hurt or looked red after piercing.

They specifically specialize in piercings; my piercing has been doing so good and healing so well compared to the other shops! My piercer was Megan; she was PHENOMENAL!! I have gotten two piercings here at rockstar, most recently was a nose piercing. I have my fair share of body piercings and I have to say, this nose piercing was by far the smoothest and most effortless piercing I have ever gotten. I could not believe how quick and relatively painless it was (not totally painless of course but you get it). My only recommendation when using rockstar is to ask the price of jewelry before making a selection, they have some really pricey pieces. Otherwise, I have had nothing but wonderful experiences and will absolutely go back if I want another one!

My friend and I made an appointment to have nose piercings done. Jenny at the desk was welcoming, down to earth and just amazing with her help. We then met Dustin who was very knowledgeable and truely loves what he does. I cant say enough how much we enjoyed this experience. I have been to many other places for different piercings but this place and staff by far exceeds all of them. I will be back when I need something else pierced.

Not only was I surprised but also thoroughly disappointed by the audacity of the Rockstar staff to treat young girls with such arrogance. I was incredibly dissatisfied with my experience during my short time in the store. My friend and I accompanied my other friend to her piercing appointment for moral support. Upon entering (fully masked) we were abruptly greeted by a bitter woman who unkindly told my friend and I that only one of us could stay inside the store with our friend. We decided to step outside together since we both felt unsafe standing out on the street alone. Keep in mind it was 22 degrees outside and snowing. The weather got so bad that our hands were bright red. When we went back to ask if we could stay inside since it was painfully cold, we were told that we could browse the jewelry, then were promptly kicked out once again. Now correct me if Im wrong, but when two young girls ask you for refuge from the rough, cold streets of Providence you let them in. I understand that some shops are choosing to make their own covid guidelines even though most mask mandates and covid restrictions are being lifted, but especially considering the fact that the store was next to empty the majority of the time we were standing outside, an exception should have been made, or an employee could have at leased tried to help us out. No sympathy shown here. I will not be returning and I will make sure to tell anyone looking for a piercing shop to avoid this place at all costs. Do better.

Went to Rockstar to have my 7 year old daughters ears pierced. They were simply AMAZING! Every single person we interacted with, from the initial phone call to being in the facility, were genuine, informative, and helpful. They spent time with us to explain everything and make my daughter comfortable and explain after care, including dos and donts, to keep them heal correctly. We wanted to avoid the route of piercing gun and wanted to go with professionals, and this solidified my choice. The procedure was quick and my daughter was calm the whole time, didnt even flinch which I was surprised about. Kudos to the team at Rockstar... You truly are Rockstars!!!

It was super straight forward and got to my appointment 15 mins early which made it easy for the staff to get my paper work ready while also helping other customers.Was very clean and very professional-following all the stretch protocol with covid.

I have been to Rockstar three times now and I would never go anywhere else! They are extremely clean and hygienic. Every staff member that I have met is amazing. They talk you through the process and give great details of what to expect. I am a bit of a germiphobe and Rockstar is always so neat and cautious. The actual piercings are reasonably priced. The earrings start cheap but can go to very expensive if you want more elaborate materials. Rockstar stands behind their work and products. I had an earring head fall off and it was fixed/replaced in no time. If I could give Rockstar 10 stars, I would!!!

Had my 3rd nose piercing yesterday. They were unbelievable extremely professional. The place is SPOTLESS. Meghan talked me through the entire process. You are going to pay a little bit more but it is worth it. Cant wait for my 6 week follow up. Going to get ear cartilage done. After this experience I WILL NEVET go to another place even though it is a 45 minute ride.

I went to Rockstar back when it was on Thayer over a decade ago for a belly button ring. They were so great that when I was finally ready to get my tragus, daith, helix and nose pierced, I knew I would go back to Rockstar!The location on Wickeden is so cute. Its clean, private and inviting. The staff are professional and courteous. I will definitely recommend anyone and everyone to Rockstar.

This place is clean and professional and when I am being pierced I have had great experiences (especially with Dustin!) Piercing is quick with good communication and they make sure youre doing ok along the way. They are also great about using they/them pronouns for everyone which is awesome! My complaint is that if I am not actively getting pierced I feel invisible. Ive gone in several times to buy jewelry when I know what I want and it takes 20 - 30 minutes to buy a the same thing I already have in my ears. A lot of this is bc the phone is constantly ringing so I think they are juggling a lot. I think if they had more staffing or were able to put ppl on hold it could be helpful. I mean like I went in and 2 ppl on staff were both on the phone, one on two separate lines. Its like they ask you one question, they answer, the phone rings, 5 minutes later they finish that conversation and then ask you another question and it repeats. This happens to me every time I go, even when I had an appointment. Its good that they are busy but I wish they could focus a little more on people in front of them in the shop instead of spreading themselves so thin. This really bothered me when I was deadnamed unnecessarily because the person helping me cut off our conversation to pick up the phone before I could even let them know that the name they had for me on file was not the correct one any more. I will keep coming here because it is convenient and their work overall is good, but Im hoping there will be some improvements in the future.

I wanted to get my nipples done, and because I knew it would be a sensitive piercing I wanted to go to a shop that I knew that I could trust. I wasnt disappointed! The staff here is super knowledgeable and professional, and their materials are super high quality. I completely recommend them.

Horrible experience. Not Courteous at all. Front staff made me feel super uncomfortable. He was extremely arrogant. if you’re of color, you know what Im talking about. The Guy was quick to upsell to me but wouldn’t even look at me in the eyes. I went in to test if my piercing was ready to be repierced. Just to get checked they charge me close to $200. (Front desk staff wouldn’t let the tech check unless I bought something ) turns out She was unable to re pierce it. The staff was aware prior to the purchase that it was just a test. But he refuse to let me get in the chair unless I paíd$$. To top it off He never gave me back my ID. It’s been more than 3 months and I have yet to see my Refund. The staff has made it difficult to get my money back. I’ve remained cool even though I was mistreated from the beginning. after such experience I rather take my 3-4 hr drive to NYC to real professionals.

Called to see if they pierced 5 year olds and they said yes, but the wait was an hour and a half. We get there and had no wait at all. The employee wouldnt allow a parent in the room with the child, and only one parent was allowed to stand in the door to watch. After the first ear my daughter was crying for me and the employee wouldnt let me come in to comfort her. Very upset with this experience, seems like it was more traumatic then it needed to be. wouldnt recommended this place for childrens piercings

I got my septum done today, which is my first ever face piercing. i walked in with a ton of anxiety, and it couldnt have gone better! i totally recommend this shop for other folks with anxiety, rockstar body piercing has a very chill and accepting atmosphere. definitely coming back once they start doing oral piercings!!

Paid almost $200 for crooked nipple piercings :/ very disappointing and the piercer didn’t let my S/O come in the room with me even tho i was told on the phone that they could come in and support me.

Nice people and quick experience when I came in to get some replacement parts but got charged an extra $10 for getting jewelry installed when they offered to do it for free (otherwise I wouldn’t have agreed to having them done and would just go home and do it myself) including $5 for installing into my lobes which I definitely didn’t need (I only requested help on re-installing my cartilage piercing). I made it clear I was on a budget and the guy still upsold me on the service. Didn’t notice the charge until afterwards and when I asked about the price they told me I was getting a “3 for 2” deal which didn’t appear to reflect in my receipt. Will be back for jewelry possibly since their prices are reasonable but cautious about getting services done here since they seem to try to tack on extra costs.

My partner went here on the recommendation of another shop, and I asked if they could pick me up a 7/8th inch barbell. He was given a half inch long barbell, which cost him $30 and did not include ends.He went back today after calling to see if it could be exchanged and being told it was no problem, only to be given a one inch barbell at a 50% discount.While my partner is not familiar with sizing and they are not completely faultless, for a shop charging these prices to have a receptionist with zero idea of what shes handing to customers is asinine. They will not be getting any more of my money.

I am honestly so unsatisfied with my experience at this body piercing place. I have experience with piercings as I’ve had 10 or more piercings on different parts of my body throughout the years. I went to RockStar because of the great reviews. However, my experience was awful. First off, I made an appointment. I was waiting in the place for over an hour. Most of all, I explained the 2 places of the piercing I wanted and the piercer concurred that I could have this done. He went on to mark the correct 2 spots of the piercings to be done. I looked at it and agreed to the markings. Due to the location of piercings, I was unable to view when the piercing was physically being done. When it was done, I looked up and one of the piercings were done in an incorrect spot and not on the marking that I agreed to. I expressed this and the guy told me that when he went to do the 2nd piercing, he didn’t think it looked correct (he never communicated this to me and just went ahead and did it). Forward to weeks later, my piercings do not look right and they were pierced so closely together that 1 of them heeled incorrectly. I went back to this place 3 separate times. I spent about $600 on these piercings and jewelry. I am very upset with my experience because this piercing isn’t something you can really redo. The scar tissue has formed and to fix this would be a hassle due to the closeness of the piercing...or it might not be fixable at all. Lastly, I was willing to spend a decent amount of money for quality jewelry and quality piercers. I felt more like this piercing place was trying to sell a product and make $ (which they made some decent $ off of me) than quality piercers. Lastly, I picked out some other jewelry for other piercings I have. I asked to see the piece of jewelry before they put it onto my body but they said no due to the sterile aspect. I went to look at my piercing when it was placed and it was not the same piece of jewelry I purchased at the counter.

Rockstar is possibly the best piercing place ever. I found them online while looking for places & was impressed by there website. It provides info about the sterilization equipment, the staff & shows many photos of their work. I went there & got my nostril pierced by Meghan, who provided an abundance of information about the piercing. She walked me through all the steps. (This was my first body piercing). My father was even impressed by them.Then about a month after I got the piercing done a keloid developed around my nose ring. My doctor recommended me to a dermatologist who was unhelpful & treated me terribly. I thought I was having a reaction to the metal in the jewelry, so I went to the Thayer street location to change the jewelry. I didnt end up changing it, but the piercer there told me it wasnt a reaction & to soak my nose with warm saline solution for 10-15 minutes a day. He was more helpful than a doctor! I personally think I should have payed him & not the dermatologist. The bump has since gone away & my nose is doing great! I cant wait to return to rockstar for my next piercing!!

Spent over $200 for 2 cartilage piercings that i ended up taking out 2 weeks later due to an infection that was caused by the earring they put in being too short. called to complain about my experience and my piercer was very unprofessional on the phone he discredited me for going to the hospital where i received treatment for the infection. very unprofessional.

I was scared stiff about getting my ears pierced, mainly because I had never had them pierced before. My mother had read the reviews, and all of them were very good. After checking the place out, we set up an appointment for Thursday. The place is very relaxing, especially for those getting any type of piercing for the first time. My piercers name was Jason, and he did a super job - not just with the piercing, but with easing my fears as well. They also do a follow - up after the first four weeks, which is very nice. This is definitely better than going to the mall to get your ears pierced, as they are state licesned and everyhting is very clean and sterile. If youre looking to get your ears pierced or have any type of piercing done (even if youre a first timer like me), you should definitely come here.

Super simple easy process for getting a second love piercing by extremely professional piercers. Piercing (piece) plus piercing (action) were about $100 and I got a cheap piece. Worth it for the comfort of know I would be in qualified and experienced hands.

I had originally gotten my cartilage on the top of ear pierced at piercing pagoda in the mall. I was 14 at the time and I didnt want to wait until I was 15 so I pierced it anyway. In the end it got infected and I was out one piercing. A month after my birthday my moms friend suggested Rock Star and it was so clean and sterile. The person who pierced my ear must have changed his gloves 5 times or more just to make sure. It was done with a needle but it hurt less than a piercing gun. It wasnt as sore as the first time either. They do an excellent job and I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

The CSR was helpful with the jewelry and knowledgeable about the jewelry. This is the place I went to back in my 20s under a different name, when they were in the back of a skate shop. I had a nostril piercing done in winter 2019 and because of Covid 19 could not get the smaller backing put on and so today it fell out of my nose and it being so tiny it is lost. I understand the Covid restrictions with piercings under the masked area and not being able to do that yet. I spoke wi th them on my options and they said to “RETIRE THE PIERCING FOR NOW COME BACK IN TO RE-PIERCE IT AT FULL PRICE OF THE PIERCING AND FULL PRICE OF NEW JEWELRY.” They ONLY want your money, period. This falling out was not my fault. I asked if I could be shown with buying new jewelry to put it in myself and was told it was unlikely to work as it it complicated. I had the typical rude, hipster attitude you get from Rockstar and back in the day also at Lunasea. I know the deal with raging hipster attitude but the options were hilarious also considering business is down right now why not be a tad more helpful? I then placed a regular sterling silver earring stud in after all and guess what?! Once it is healed it works PERFECTLY FINE. They want you to pay for overpriced jewelry when a real good or sterling silver stud works fine once healed. So let it fully heal with bigger jewelry and boom use ANYTHING else and NO ripoff. You will never get another dime from me.

Originally My friend and I get all of our piercings done in Fall River ( our city ) and I wanted to get a microdermal piercing, her an ear piercing. The place we usually go to was closed and We were searching everywhere! We were pretty hesitant to drive to providence due to the commute, but coming to RockStar body Piercings was one of the best places We’ve ever been to, to get a piercing! Dustin and Charlie explained everything thourouly, super super sterile and they make you feel so relaxed and chill! Would highly recommend this place to anyyyyone!!! :)

Went to stop by and check out my piercings because i was worried and this girl put me in the room and just looked at it. She didnt touch it or try to see what was the issue. She told me i had to take it out and let it heal but went to my actual piercer and he said it was fine just needed to take better care of it. If they cant check my piercing like a professional then idk about trusting them with future piercings.

I was getting my cartilage pierced (my 5th piercing) and it was my first time getting anything pierced with a needle, and they made sure i wasnt too nervous and they made it comfortable. my piercing didnt get infected because they made sure that everything was sterile (they mustve cleaned my stud 5 times before actually piercing my ear), im definitely going back when i get more piercings

The worse place to go to. They dont care about you but your money. I came here and the workers here dont even know what they talking about. Each worker told me 3 different price for the same piercing. I would not go back here ever again. If anything yall should go to unicorn ink their the best.

It is absolutely the only place to get pierced. I got my daith pierced and the piercer John was so calming and walked me through it and it was such a great experience that I now want so many more piercings.

I love the rockstar on Thayer Street! I went there to look around for a new earring. The worker was really helpful and suggested because it was my first time changing it that I had them change it for me. I wanted to see what else was out there so I went to the rockstar on Atwells. The worker there gave me the exact opposite advice about what size earring I should have. She then proceeded to tell me she could make a flower earring custom for me. (Not sure if because Im a teenaged white girl I automatically wanted a cute flower stud?) Atwells-not the best. Highly recommend Thayer street!!

Disgusting: worst smelling breath and kept speaking into my face (and I just couldnt). Also, my piercing isnt level, it would appear that the Piercer just completely missed the dot marked with the pen and now my piercing is at a 20* slope YAY expensive piercings! And I dont want to get it redone bc Ouch! And guess who moved away. I just cant. Worst ~$100 I spent ever. Aaaaand the worst part is I wear glasses, Im pretty sure that I mentioned how I wanted my piercing to be parallel with my glasses. Thanks #RockStar (hence, the one star).

Waited an hour after my the time of my appointment just to be told that the jewelry I wanted wasn’t in stock. I was then told it would arrive in 1-2 weeks. It’s been over a month and the shop has no interest in figuring out why it’s taking so long for a standard piece of jewelry to ship. Still waiting on it. Big waste of time.

Ive had nipples, navel, rook, and septum by Peter and Dustin! Ear and nostril piercings provided from other parlors formed keloids once or twice during the healing process but Ive never had a grievance with Rockstars work. They do try to upsell your jewelry choices but thats typical of most parlors.
