Sean Reynolds has been tattooing me for 8 years, he is the absolute best, trustworthy artist. His work is flawless, affordable, and he’s very friendly and fun to work with. Highly recommend!!

If you need work done, there is not a better place to go to and specifically to Sean Reynolds! Sean is fantastic and does incredible work! He communicates with you ahead of time, ensures that he is meeting your expectations, and delivers immaculate art work. I cant recommend him enough if you are looking to have anything done.

Ive had three appointments at Providence Tattoo and Ive always had a great experience. The first three photos are tattoos by Amy Pate, who was great when I asked if slight edits could be made to the designs. The moth was by Jon Gorman who now works at Torchbearer, but my appointment was at Providence Tattoo and it was also great. Both artists explained why certain decisions had to be made for the tattoo to look right and age well. The space feels very clean, theres amazing art on the walls, and its never too crowded or loud

Excellent. My son and I worked with Tim Freeman, Incredible Artist !I have multiple tattoos, this was my son 1st tattoo....hehas now caught the tattoo bug. Tim was awesome, very experienced and gave us fantastic guidance. We are both soooo pleased with the two creations. We will definitely be back to have Tim do more work for us. Sean at Providence Tattoo is absolutely amazing!! His work is 2nd to none and his attention to detail and his fine line work make the tattoo perfect!! He goes at a good pace that helps the customer get used to the needle gun. I highly recommend getting your next tat with him!!

Sean did an amazing job on a fine line tattoo I wanted. He printed of multiple sizes of the tattoo design before hand so we can see which size fits the best with what I had imagined. The shop is very clean and everyone there is super professional. I will definitely be returning here for my next tattoos.

I was a walk in customer, the shop is very nice, clean and professional looking... The tattoo areas are nice and private, but youre still able to see around the shop. I went in to have a paw print on my wrist covered up and met with John, he was so nice and helpful and gave me exactly what I wanted.. I will be going back soon for another cover up.

I got my first tattoo here today. Sean was so attentive and comforting throughout the entire process and made my comfort and vision a priority. So happy and will definitely be returning for any future tattoos!

Have had several amazing experiences with Sean. Not only is he an amazing artist, he is easy to work with designing and setting up the perfect tattoo.

Did not feel welcomed one bit. The most awkward confrontation I ever had. Asked for a minor cover up and told me it would be $300-$500 don’t know who the hell spends that much on SMALL THIN lines to be covered. 7 letters on my knuckles I wanted done. That’s a good $150-$200 Job. They made me feel really weird and wasn’t even talking correctly told me take a card and I was like uh ok and walked out. Strange people looked like they didn’t want to be there. COMPLETELY empty inside too so don’t know why they didn’t make an attempt to make me a customer. The place looked pretty cool inside but those 2 dudes weren’t even capable of tattooing over some lines 😂 ok just say you aren’t confident! And don’t advertise being a walk in establishment. If they talked more I would of stayed and gotten a different tattoo.

Jon Gorman did and amazing job and was extremely detail oriented and made sure I was 100% happy with placement, size, etc. A pleasure to work with and I usually only only have female/queer people tattoo me. I was 100% comfortable and heard in his space. Cannot recommend enough.

Everything happens for a reason!My husband and I had an appointment at a shop we are always very loyal to despite the fact that its quite a distance. Got an appointment 2 months ago took the day off our jobs got a sitter for our two kids just for him to cancel on us last second. Needless to say well never be going back there! Called around and Providence Tattoo on Atwells was able to squeeze us both in last second which we appreciated more than ever because we rarely get this free time and were so looking forward to getting our new ink addition. The shop is very clean and professional . Doug did a phenomenal job on us both we will be back sooner than later!!!

Every artist is absolutely amazing!! I’ve gotten a small script tattoo from TJ that has healed great, and I recently got some beautiful lilies done by Amy. They are so friendly and caring here. I would recommend this shop to anyone!

I came to see Amy to get my Grammy’s handwriting tattooed on my arm. She was so kind and worked with me really well. She helped me decide the best place to place it and kindly explained why the place I wanted originally may not make me as happy as I thought it would. I’m so happy with the outcome and I will be returning.I have also been tattooed by TJ for a walk-in visit. He was so kind and professional. His work is great and I appreciated his advice on location, as well. His dot work is amazing and I love my tattoo so much.Thank you both. 💜

Had kind of an interesting experience here. Our tattoo artist flaked on us after committing to a time sensitive appointment. They were able to book us that same day which we really really appreciated. Our new tattoo artist told us he could do the stipple effect that I wanted for my tattoo with a certain needle but it really looks more like shading than an actual stipple effect. I like the end result but Im not in love with it. At the end of my session my artist made a comment about how I never get off the phone. I spent most of the time on my phone because it helps me distract from the pain, I cant do much talking when Im trying to focus on breathing. I apologize if I broke some tattoo etiquette but Im not very social and that comment felt a bit chastising even if it was meant as a joke. It was definitely an experience, if we come back we would probably go with the artist we originally wanted, Tina

I went to get my FIRST tattoo with Amy. My experience: I was super nervous b/ i didn’t know what to expect as far as pain, procedure, etc. I had my consult two months ago and when i showed the designs i wanted to out together, she said i would only see the final design when i got there for my appt (its just their policy). So my OCD control freak side was a bit uneasy but i had to trust her! When i walked in and she showed me, i LOVED it! She assured me that we would both be happy with it and we would get the right size and location and that i would leave with a smile.. THAT I DID! :) Amy was great, professional and personable and made me feel comfortable.. and of course an amazing tattoo artist. Thank you!!

Very clean shop. Good prices. The artist I worked with (TJ) was very straightforward and honest, which is exactly what I look for in someone who is doing permanent work on my body. He discussed with me the piece I wanted, and how it would do aging, & aftercare for it. My roommate got work done in their Wickenden location, so I can say that both shops are 10/10. Definitely coming back :)

Providence Tattoo is easily the best shop Ive ever gone to and I am super glad I decided to start coming here. Jon Gorman has always done his work exceptionally well and Ive never been disappointed. I know that he is willing to work with any ideas I bounce off him and any modifications he makes to what I want are for the sake of the quality of my tattoo. As long as I live in Providence, Jon will be the artist I go to and the one I recommended to anyone.

Went in as a walk-in and left within an hour. Both guys were very welcoming and I felt very comfortable. Forrest did my tattoo on my ribs and I am more than happy with it. Awesome job

My experience with Providence Tattoo was the first time I ever encountered really terrible customer service and unprofessionalism in a business.A little over a month ago me and my best friend planned to get a tattoo. We went to Providence Tattoo thinking it was as good as its looks and as good as its good reviews. On November 8th We went for a walk-in, and Christian took us from there. We showed him what we wanted, talked about prices, sizing, his portfolio, and left telling him we would think about it. After me and my friend talked about it, we sent him an email the next day saying we really wanted to work with him but the pricing was scaring us away. He told us he could work on a design within our budget and we agreed. November 15th we go back to the shop to give our deposit of $60 and talk more in detail about what we wanted designed. We sent him reference pictures and also set the date that we wanted to get the tattoo done, on DECEMBER 20th. He said he would contact us through text so that we didn’t have to come in to see the design. On November 29th the following week my friend went to check the design, and the tattooist had a rough draft which wasn’t what he was looking for, so he gave him more detail and talked about what he really wanted to see. As for me he only showed me a collage/cropped pictures from the reference photos that I sent him. This was okay since it had been only a week. He said he would keep working on it and that was fine with us. Exactly a week later...December 6th we both go back to the shop to see any new updates.. well to my surprise he hasn’t made any progress on mine at all. So my visit was useless. Because I didn’t see any work put in yet I started getting concerned. My friend’s tattoo was an unfinished draft but still wasn’t what he was looking for. So again he gave him a detailed explanation of what it would look like finished. From this day onwards he had two weeks to show us a finalized draft since the appointed day was DECEMBER 20th. DECEMBER 10th my friend asked him through Instagram whether he had any updates since we could not go into the shop because we were in final exams.. well he left him on READ, no answer, no nothing. Friday, DECEMBER 13th my friend asks again, “can we try to come in and look at the design since we are a week away from getting it ?” Christian answers saying he would send us the design THE SAME NIGHT.. guess what? He didn’t. Two days later(SUNDAY) my friend texts AGAIN feeling bad about it, apologizing for bothering him and asking if he had any updates on our tattoos.. well christian answers a day later saying sorry he was busy and hasn’t forgotten about us and that he would send a design that day… still, we waited all day and got nothing. OKAY well it’s less than a week until we were supposed to get our tattoos. At this point we were getting really nervous and did not trust Christian. We were taking this very seriously since the beginning but as the weeks went by we did not see the same level of seriousness and importance from him. It felt as if we were bothering him.

WELCOME: Greeted by telephone & in person by courteous receptionist. Tattoo artist/owner is kind & professional.SATISFIED: Proper cleanliness was maintained. The tattoo is lovely & the experience meaningful. I am grateful. I highly recommend this shop.

The worst place to get a tattoo. They charge me 120 for a tattoo that should cost 60 and the guy took a advantage that it was my first time and the tattoo that he did wasn’t professional. I went to get my second tattoo at The Torchbearer Tattoo on Westminster and I was so impressed with the results and the price and the service I received.

Dennis Del Prete, the owner of Providence Tattoo, is just that person. Years ago his work caught my eye. Intrigued, I scheduled a consult and gave him permission to go wild. In return he created a masterpiece on my forearm that still puts a smile on my face to this day. Since the first session I have had 3 subsequent visits to completely transform my skin into works of art. The level of professionalism in the shop, the cleanliness of the space, and the customer service is unsurpassed. If you are considering new ink, look no further than Providence Tattoo.

Hands down the best tattoo shop Ive been in, and Ive got plenty of ink. Clean, professional, art is on point and the artists are good. Will be back to get my sleeve done asap.

Did a great job on my rose tattoo. Even drew some up for me there so I had options. Only thing was that they dont let anyone back there with you, I wanted to be with my friend getting her first tattoo but I wasnt allowed.

Whilst visiting Providence on a Lovecraftian homage, I wanted to get a tattoo to mark the occasion and add the memories to my skin. I popped into the parlor and got a booking for the next day. The artist (I think it was Jon?) was amazing from the word go. We discussed what I wanted, threw some ideas about together, and came up with the finished design in about 30 minutes. A further hour later I had my new ink permanently ethed upon my lower arm!A very relaxed atmosphere, where you are made to feel welcome and at ease. I shall return here for yet more Lovecraftian ink when I visit Providence again in 2017.

From the second you walk in to when you leave, all of their focus is on you. It was very easy to communicate my ideas back and forth through the entire process. Professional environment with really down to earth artists. Special thanks to Amy!

Two of my buds and I showed up without a reservation and the folks there did everything possible to get us in and out quickly.We had pretty simple requests, but we were all happy with the results.

3 of us got ink very random, had ideas of what to get, these guys had exactly what we wanted in minutes. Very clean very professional and my family and I will be back for lots of work. I highly recommend them.

I had a cuff done on my wrist. It came out OK, not the best. My issue was with the dog walking around me during the session.. not sanitary.
