Went to switch out my tragus stud earring to a hoop earring & he pierced me a whole new hole instead of pushing the earring through the existing hole. Yes, he used the hoop earring to pierce a fresh hole I didn’t ask for. The hoop was huge. Hurt like a you know what. Then he had the audacity to offer me a free piercing/ earring. Sir… what makes you think I’m ever going to let you pierce me? I had to go on vacation with this unexpected new piercing. I had to be careful going into the pool, the ocean and on rides. Don’t do drugs kids

Before I write my review, I would like to say I’ve been here for half of my piercings and I have 16. I walked in to get a new earring for my piercing, and I asked the piercer for it. He said he doesn’t touch piercings on the weekends, which is fine so I asked for an earring and he said “you expected it for free? It’s five dollars” and I responded you’ve done it before for me so yes it did expect it for free. So I proceeded to say I’ll get your cash and this man is yelling at me and says “since you have an attitude don’t bother coming back.” I get five dollars for him and he says I can have the earring for free and gives me two instead of 2. I don’t take disrespect a grown man to yell at me for an earring is ridiculous, I understand it’s business but going about it in a polite way would be more respectful. I’ve been here for three years, so I’m disappointed because he has been so nice to me. They will not see me again.

I got my Madonna piercing, and it looks fantastic. I have been going to this tattoo shop for years, and I have no problem with anyone. Before it used to be fun and loud, now is quiet because there’s only one person doing the tattoos. Overall is good.

Walk in and very satisfied, very professional also a mistake on the tattoo spelling and he find out and fixed( that said a lot, he’s like to take care of details and I love that) thank you great experience . Definitely will be back for more ink :)

Worst customer service ever!! I have been to this place twice to get piercings and end up leaving without anything. They dont care about their clients. They let you wait for long periods of time. I came in today to get my nose pierced and they had me waiting there for 10 mins to tell me they were only doing cash at the time and their ATM wasn’t working. I went next door to get the cash and when I came back I waited another 10 mins and the guy who does the piercings pretended like he was going to do my piercing and got what he needed out to do the piercing but then he walked away and shortly after that I saw him through the window he left the building in his motorcycle. He left without saying anything and had me waiting there. I ended up leaving. I gave this place 1 star just because I had to put something. Don’t go here if youre trying to get pierced. Bye

I went here today to get my first tattoo and it was amazing. It was very quick, easy, and simple. The work is very great quality and the prices are very reasonable. I would very highly recommend.

My wife and I walked in today with our own designs and got tattoos done by Aleks. They came out exactly the way we wanted them. We will be back for more. Thank you.

Went to get my septum pierced. First of all, no one asked for an ID or anything. Whatever so I sit down for Bobby to pierce it. So he put the needle through TWICE and then said he couldn’t get the jewelry in. He stated my nose was too small? I called another shop and they said they’ve never heard that before. After he said he couldn’t do it, he gather up his stuff and walked away. I thought he was coming back but NOPE. He just disappeared and I had to have another person grab me a paper towel because my nose was bleeding. I went here years ago and it was great. I don’t know what happened but this place is a joke now.

Got my tongue pierced here for $45 which is INSANELY CHEAP, for anyone who isn’t accustomed to piercing prices. Took less than 5 minutes, perfectly centered and was very careful to not hit any veins, even asked me about the placement to ensure it was where i wanted it!! So quick, it was virtually painless! Gave me a brief, but still informative and detailed spiel on how to properly take care of it, and I was out the door! Super kind and funny, yet still professional. Went back after it fully healed and he told me a recommended bar length (they pierce with longer bar to allow room for swelling and then you switch when swelling subsides) and let me pick a new piece of jewelry of my liking, then continued to take out old jewelry and insert new jewelry FOR FREEEE!!!! he even let me keep the old jewelry! I love it here and would 100% recommend!

Bobby is an artist dedicated to his craft. The shop is clean and he serves customers professionally. And he guarantees his work.

Bobby is a great artist that’s for sure. He cares a lot about the work he does for his clients. He makes sure you are alright and will stop when you need him to. He did 2 of my tattoos and fixed one of them for me and the most recent one he did was perfect. I can’t thank him enough or recommend him enough. My boyfriend and I just got our first piercings done and it was so quick and easy. The staff is super friendly and it is so clean and sanitary in the shop. They are very respectful and definitely pay attention to your needs and wants. Super professional and I highly recommend coming here if you want to get a piercing done!

Stopped in about a week or so ago with an idea for a tattoo. Gave my info to someone who said theyd draw up a design in a day or two and get back to me to schedule. Still waiting....

If I could give this place more than 5 stars I would. My husband and I had a spontaneous idea to get tattoos. We were in the area and googled a few places near by. Mikes tattoo took us as walk ins and made the whole experience wonderful. Our artist, Julio, was amazing. Very happy with his work. He was extremely professional and friendly. Very talented. Even though its a bit of a drive from our home we will definitely will be back!!

Terrible service. My friends and I came here and out of the five people he pierced the wrong piercings on two people. Then I drove an hour to get the piercing they did taken out and they tell me no because its a weekend when they literally pierced it on a weekend and they only take walk ins. It wouldve took three seconds to just take it out. Horrible attitude and service. If you want the wrong piercings and rude service be my guest and go here.

Mikes was recommended to me by a co-worker, so I did what all people do and googled them, saw positive reviews and figured Id make an appt.THEY DID NOT DISAPPOINT!!!! All of the positive reviews you see have been earned! They were friendly, clean to the point of sterile, and professional. My nose piercing was painless and just what I wanted. Came in for two tattoos and was not disappointed in the slightest. One was a simple design and that came out great, the second was a concept in my head that was brought to life right before my eyes! I cannot believe how affordable the price was, so I had to leave a generous tip. Clean, professional, and great customer service. I was able to take a break here and there as needed for it being my first time, and I cant wait to go back!

V is the greatest. She did several dermal piercings for me and she explained what she was doing all the way. I was very comfortable with V and I will be getting a few more piercings done very soon. I have recommended her services to a couple of people that have seen my piercings and love it. I also had a tattoo done on my back a few years ago. It was a job well done. Walked in today to get my nose pierced. Staff was friendly & made sure I was comfortable. Didnt catch the piercers name, but he was AWESOME! (Ive previously had my nose pierced) He was very thorough in describing the process & used clean/new needles & instruments that he opened right in front of me. It was quick & painless which of course I appreciate. It was $35, including jewelry which I think is very reasonable. Thank you so much!

The artist that did my daughters tattoos is extremely talented, knowledgeable, and professional. Hes done some extremely large and detailed work on her back and arm. Hes very clean, utilizes the necessary sterile techniques required for tattooing and piercing and is compliant and up to date with all of the pandemic guidelines as well. He educates on how to care for your tattoo or piercing afterwards to prevent infection or injury and is available to assess any concerns during healing if they should arise. Overall, the facility is clean, and the staff is talented, friendly and educated.

At 61 years old, I made a careful choice of where I would have my first ink. VERY HAPPY I went to Mikes.I came in as a walk-in, but there was absolutely no problem with that. Bobby did my work. He asked the right questions, worked quickly and professionally, and was great to talk to. The finished product was exactly what I wanted, and the price was much lower than other shops I had spoken to.Well, its now ten months since my first visit and my review. I now have EIGHT tattoos thanks to Bobby, Jolie, and Kenny. I still cannot say enough about Mikes. Bobby did my latest two tattoos, a classic Chinese dragon and tiger on my forearms. The color and detail of the work exceeded my expectations. Im getting alot of compliments at work. But when I tell people what I paid they look at me in amazement and say Wow, what a great price!.Drop in at Mikes, you wont leave disappointed!

My husband and I went in to inquire about a piercing. There were at least 5 people ahead of us and only one person working in the shop. He was very rude to us when we walked in. We waited for at least 20 minutes and he was still with the initial client. We left and a few days later called the shop. The man who answered, which was a different man, was very rude and condicending. I will never be going here again and reccomened all others to stay away. Give your money to another tattoo shop that is more deserving.

Ive gotten all but one of my body piercing here and the only one I got elsewhere I had to take out, so I dont think Ill be going anywhere else if I get anymore. Its always a laid back atmosphere and the piercer is super nice. Competitive pricing. I highly recommend.

If I could put zero stars I would. I’m not usually one to leave a review but, I had gone to Mikes to get my first lip piercing when I was 13, and the experience was great. I came back about a week ago (Im now 22) and I have to say a disappointing experience was an understatement. The staff werent friendly AT ALL. Im a bigger girl, and I was getting my belly button done, so it was a very sensitive and important thing for me to decide to do. I was waiting for a good 10 minutes until the man who was piercing me came out to the waiting area, did not even tell me his name and just waved me to the back room. Did not say a word to me except asking what jewelry I wanted. Gave no warning at all and just pierced me. To make matters worse, I wasnt even given my consent form until AFTER I was pierced. He was much nicer to the thinner girls who came in after me and made me very uncomfortable because I was treated so coldly and like my piercing was something he did NOT want to do. As a few days went on I had a very bad feeling in my gut about this piercing, so I spoke to a friend and she referred me to an artist who does piercings at Kelltic Ink. Her name is Vee and she used to work at Mikes. I went to see her and she immediately told me my piercing was WAY too small. I did all the proper cleaning techniques but was in so much pain. The WORST experience I have ever had at Mikes and will definitely not be returning and will be referring people to Kelltic Ink instead. They were way more friendly and definitely cared more about my well being and the integrity of their work.

Had my nose pierced here with a coworker back in July. The place is clean and they always use fresh tools. The piercer Vee was very nice and helpful during the process and made sure she told you what she was doing as she pulled out her equipment. One of the nicer shops Ive ever been too. Planning on going back to get the other side of my nose pierced soon.

I came in for a triple dermal piercing below my collarbone. Mike did an excellent job the whole way through. That was by far the least painful piercing Ive ever had.Edit: two of the piercings fell out within a week. This wasnt my first set of dermals so I already knew exactly what to do to care for them. Those ones are eight years old with no complications or infections ever. The two that fell out werent placed deep enough. I didnt go back because I didnt care to make a fuss and I knew I had to let the holes heal and do what I could to reduce any scar tissue.

For my wifes birthday she decided she wanted her first tattoo. Checked a few local places and happened to stop at Mikes today since we drove by it. Went in and spoke with Bobby. My wife knew what she wanted the tattoo to represent and had an idea of what she wanted. After speaking with Bobby she decided her idea may not translate well to skin. Bobby gave some suggestions and we exchanged contact info so he could brainstorm some ideas. Never once did he try to push a tattoo on my wife that she may not have been happy with. As we left I started looking at different ideas for her and found one she loved. We went back inside and Bobby was more then willing to make her first tattoo a reality. Incredibly clean environment, excellent artistry, and helpful staff. I liked it so much i got another when she was done. Would reccommend Mikes and Bobby to anyone.

First off, their place looks like a 80’s smokers house. The tattoo artist was nice and showed me where to go. I just wanted someone to loosen the ball on my septum so I could change it but they didn’t have many new options. When the piercer came, I said I just wanted it loosened and he said “really? Five dollars” I said I don’t have cash and the ATM was down but offered to pay another way and he was very clearly annoyed. When he loosened it I thanked him and he stormed out the back door before me without saying a word. I will never come back to this place again.

Amazing service, very quick manual piercing with no gun. redid my nose and industrial with no appt and done within 10 mins. I highly recommend for piercing since I never had a tattoo done there, YET

I had a tattoo & piercing here. Quality work. Great staff. Clean location. Professional attitude, but not stuffy. I love an establishment where I can chat with the owner, or stop by anytime to have questions answered and concerns addressed. If you want a tattoo or piercing, Mikes is the place to go. Oh, did I mention the reasonable prices?

Came into Mikes with 5 of my friends to get tattoos and we all had a great experience and felt welcomed the entire time. Our tattoos came out great and we love them! I also came in for piercings and they look great! Will definitely be coming back for other tattoos and piercings!!

I went today to pick up jewelry for my Tragus and the guy in the shop was so unnecessarily rude and stand off-ish. He didnt greet us, just asked what we were there for and before I could even finish my sentence he blurted out We dont do piercings on the weekends!!. I told him I only wanted some jewelry since my jewelry fell out like 3 days ago and he didnt bother to help. Then he said he doesnt know what the size of my piercing was so he couldnt help, without even bothering to check my ear at all.My boyfriend who never usually notices bad service was shocked at how rude he was. I came here to get my Tragus pierced 6 years ago and was fine, the last 2 times I came back to get something, the service was unbelievably disgusting. The guy there has no customer service skills and seems to pick and choose who he wants to be professional with. Would never recommend. Theres way more tattoo shops around here with better work anyway.

I was visiting/ researching several parlors in Lancaster and Reading areas. Went to Mikes, liked what I saw and heard. I sent a pic of tattoo to the girl upfront and she suggested Terry, got an appointment for the next day. Every aspect of the experience was fantastic! 5 hours in the chair; I did not only get a dynamite custom tattoo, but was entertained by Terrys stories, as well! Im very satisfied with the artist, price and his work. Ill be going back to Terry for another one soon.

I got my second and third tattoo here and I can vouch that this was an AMAZING experience. I was a little nervous about getting the tattoos on a sensitive part of my foot but Mike, Vee, and the crew were so helpful and made me feel so at home. Myself and wife went to Mikes for one tatoo each yesterday, walked in no greeting from Mike he was doing a piercing he finished after few min were standing there few feet away stil no hello be right with you nothing told my wife 4 more min of being ignored were out, 4 min later we walked out to me its disrespect so our money will be spent else where. I had the pleasure of having Mike do my belly button piercing a while ago. He and his staff were amazing. I got very sick to my stomach because of my nerves lol and Mike sent someone to get me something to drink to settle it down. They kept me calm, asked me questions to take my mind off of what I was about to do and I was ok.Anyone putting negative remarks are either speaking about the wrong place... Or just trying to smear this quality business at a pathetic attempt to get clients. Im sorry but your work speaks to the clients.... Evidently... Mikes Tattoo has everything.... ESPECIALLY =The Clients you so desperately want you sink to bad mouthing a fellow business.Proof is in the tattoo and all the 5 star reviews. I will be returning very soon for my first tattoo and a nose piercing...

Got my nose pierced a couple months ago today by Vee. She was great the whole time. Any questions i asked she had an answer for. The shop was very clean and everything was sterile and came right out of the package in front of me. Would highly recommend this place to anyone here. The staff was very nice and comforting although I ended up in the hospital days after getting an industrial piercing. Apparently, the piercing wasn’t done properly and caused an infection. Coincidentally, my brother got a piercing done here by someone else and it also got infected. So it’s most definitely gonna be a no from me.

I got my first tattoo done here. And the experience was great. I felt relaxed and comfortable and it was fast and painless. Also got my nose done and they did a great job. Now going back for my second tattoo they do an amazing job here!!!!

Highly disappointed!! I was scheduled to get a tattoo, took off work and the artist who was supposed to do my tattoo never answered the door, it was completely dark inside but yet I could see somebody in the back who just refused to open up, that is extremely unprofessional and inconsiderate. Bobby, my tattoo artist, was amazing. My tattoo is great. He was totally awesome. I love my tattoo. And V pierced my sons ears carefully and gave him extra attention and empathy.

Kenny was awesome. Our 7-year old daughter was previously so scared to get her ears pierced but Kenny made her feel comfortable and did a great job talking her through the process

I always come here for piercings over the years, I have already 15 tattoos so I know the whole aftercare. First time getting a tattoo from yous and will be the last. not only was the lady rude with me but she tried to overcharge for two small tattoos, that only took her 15 minutes then lowered the price 160 to 65. Now my tattoo is SWOLLEN and red, the area hurts and the healing of it is scabby and yellowish. And tbh its POURLY done. I won’t be coming back here.

We had the appointments set up for weeks, 4 of us went there we all got the same tattoos my daughter received her tattoo with no issues & my 2 grandchildren received their first tattoos and then myself I have had nothing but trouble with my tattoo this was May 24, I am very disappointed

Have plenty of tattoos from Mikes. Very sterile throughout two floors and the piercing area. Best of all is the fact that my wife suffers from chronic migraines. We went to Mikes and got the piercing for the relief of migraines. Happy to say she is migraine free three weeks later. Thank you Mikes tattoo and body piercings.

Needed help getting a bring earing out and was very grateful they were able to help. Walked in right as they opened. Went back the next day for a piercing as well and still wonderful help and did an amazing job.

I would of giving them a 5 since I always go there for my peircings. I am not happy because the piercer told me to come in at a certain time and had the new girl tell me he never said that. My time is important and since they were rude about it they lost a customer

The owner and workers were so rude and disrespectful to my friend and I for no reason and made us feel like stupid little girls. They made my friend cry! The shop was so unprofessional! We went to the Color Wheel instead, right down the street and they were so nice and actually looked happy to see us.
