Visited here today and got an absolutely amazing tattoo by an amazing artist (Jason Wigley). He took my vision annd a few symbols I wanted incorporated annd created the most anwesome tattoo. it so much better than I could have ever imagined. He was very very thorough and took his time with all the fine details until it was perfect. It was like he’d think we were done and see a couple spots that weren’t perfect and go back in until they were. He didn’t rush through those little details that really make this perfect. The shop itself is awesome as well, all their staff was friendly and there is a very good atmosphere and vibe there and I know this will seem random but they had the cleanest restroom of any public place I’ve ever been.

I want to start this review by saying how shocked I am at the outcome and quality of all 4 of my finger tattoos I received 10 days prior to writing this review w/ pictures. I was in town visiting and came across this tattoo shop. Before going thru the doors I did research and saw a bunch of positive reviews from satisfied customers. I went in and was quoted from an artist Tyson 200$ for 3 finger tattoos ( 50$ deposit then 150$ day off )Even tho I was in the tattoo chair for less than 30 minutes. Due to the amazing and friendly staff I decided to proceed. After printing out and stamping the 3 tattoos that were agreed upon for location thickness etc. Tyson then started the tattoo process. These were my 12th tattoos and as a fairly tatted women it is safe for me to say I am not good with pain. So when I tell you I didn’t feel just about any pain while having my fingers tatted should be another red flag. I mentioned this to my tattoo artist and he said he was just very light handed and not to worry. After the first three were completed in less than 20ish minutes I took a look and loved them as they were fresh. Without even asking me he stamped tattoo #4 ( crescent moon ). We had talked before my appointment about doing a 4th tattoo but I had to decline as it was an extra 50$ to add it. So seeing him start up his machine and to look down and have a 4th stamp on me was a little surprising to say the least. He said since he finished the 3 fingers much faster then he thought he was gonna give me the 4th one for free. Without letting not giving me a chance to look at the moon he started to tattoo it. You can see in the picture how completely off balance and sloppy it is I realized when I got back to my hotel. Fast foward to today ( exactly 2 weeks since my tattoo appointment. 3/4 of my fingers have multiple bald spots where the tattoo needle didn’t even penetrate my skin. Never I’m my life did I think I’d pay 200$ for less then 3 inches by 1 inch worth of tattoos in 30 minutes start to finish that would end up being a catastrophe. Before getting said tattoos I had done lots of research on this location knowing it doesn’t last as long as other tattoos before the fading process begins. 2 weeks….2 weeks and half of the ink is gone. My tattoo artist Tyson said he has been at this shop tattooing for 2 years and had experience with hand tattoos. 200$ not just down the drain but also having me invest in gloves till I can afford some sort of cover up done by a professional. It’s sad too because everyone in this shop was not only kind and friendly but had the upmost respect and professionalism ( via why I gave 2 stars instead of one ). Sadly I can’t get the 200$ back of course. Just be careful with who tattoos you at this shop.

I went earlier today and got a navel piercing. It’s my first body piercing and I was super nervous. the guy piercing me was Matt. He did amazing and talked to me about everything I needed to do for it to heal properly. He made sure I was comfortable with the process and talked me through the procedure. I’m so glad I didn’t chicken out. I definitely recommend this place for any piercings or tattoos. everyone was welcoming and helpful. thank you to all the staff that helped me through the process.

First of all I never give reviews but this shop deserve this is the best shop I ever came across with. Matt Dombrowski what a wonderful and professional piercer he is! So humble and very knowledgeable! He did a perfect job with my piercings! I am very happy and thankful ! The office is very clean! And make you feel comfortable! I recommend Artistic Edge to anyone that asks about my tattoos or piercings. Taylor and Ethan have both created beautiful pieces for me. Taylor just finished a full sleeve that makes me smile every time I see it in the mirror. The piercer Matt is wonderful, hes always willing to answer questions about types of piercings, jewelry quality, recovery time, and care.Ive always felt comfortable and welcome here and think that all of the artists are talented and professional.

I came in about a month ago and got a very simple and small tattoo. I was pleased with the cleanliness and professionalism of the shop, but the lack of effort and care for how my tattoo turned out shows immensely just by glancing at it. I expected a lot better considering I paid $100 for something that is less than an inch long and took 5 minutes. I blamed the uneven lines and color differences on the healing process but it’s been a month and has been fully healed for a while. Now i’m left with 8 lines that are faded, uneven, and curved. My friend came in with me and got the same tattoo and there is a drastic difference between the two. I’m just disappointed in the quality of something that will be on me the rest of my life. I trusted the staff at the shop and I was let down.

My daughter asked me to go with her today for her nose piercing and I spontaneously decided to do it with her. Matt is very knowledgeable and passionate. The shop is extremely clean. I’ve had many piercings in the past and I was very impressed. She will be going back for her first tattoo in the next couple of months.

Ask for Will Arrendale! Awesome dude, and great tattoo artist. Everyone there is really Josh, Matt, and one more, but he was leaving as I walked in. They also do piercings.

I went in last night for a rook piercing. Matt was there to help and evaluate my ear which a rook wasn’t a option for my ear anatomy. Matt was awesome and showed me other piercings and I decided on the daith piercing. The piercing was as comfortable as it could be. I will be going back, I am so happy with my experience!

Had an amazing experience at this shop. Very friendly and welcoming environment. Was not even planning on getting a tattoo when I original came in, but after talking with artist Cody for awhile I knew that this studio was a fit. I’ve gotten 3 piercings from Matt. He even went as far as changing my septum ring into a rainbow! It was so cool to watch. He explains everything amazingly. He talks you through everything. I have had the best service there and only will let him do my piercings!! Also the entire staff is welcoming and makes you feel at home! Will definitely be going back and getting more piercings here!!

I called about a tattoo and by the time I got there they had already had a drawing and some ideas. Tattoo artist Jason is awesome. Very friendly, and professional. He has some amazing art. I really like his style of tattoos. My wife got the tattoo, next is my turn. I am going to have Jason do mine, but I think all the guys there are fantastic. Great quality and super clean place.

Josh Hambrick was my artist. I came to him with a vision and he took it and turned it into something way cooler! He researched what I wanted and did an awesome drawing and worked with me one-on-one to make it exactly what I wanted before we did the stencil. He was quick and thorough and his work area was super clean and nice. He was also on time and very easy to communicate with. I would definitely recommend him and this shop for anyone looking to get a tattoo!

Matt Dombrowski was awesome. He was very professional and made me extremely comfortable with the piercing process. He explained everything in great detail and each step as he executed them. He made sure I didnt have any questions unanswered and wants me to check back in within a month so he can make sure the healing process is going properly. Chris tattooed myself and 4 friends. He was fantastic. Very professional and a super light hand. The shop was clean, friendly, and well laid out. All of the artists were very welcoming. I had such a great experience getting my septum pierced at Artistic Edge today. Matt is a fantastic piercing artist to work with; he’s personable and kind, professional (obviously!), and very calming. He worked with me to pick my first septum ring, color it for me, explain every step of the piercing process, and make sure I knew how to take care of my nose afterward. I LOVE this place. Although I’ve been a few times before to support friends, today was my first personal visit. Matt so kindly pierced my ears and was AWESOME. I asked him a million questions and he was very knowledgeable; he clearly loves what he does. He made sure to sterilize everything and I felt completely comfortable, even as nervous as I was. They’re a little expensive, but they have great equipment, are all very friendly, and know what they’re doing. Totally worth the extra money! Would definitely recommend for piercings and tattoos.

I got my ears pierced here and it was wonderful! Artistic Edge has great customers service and great employees who are very kind. It is also very clean and the piercings were also well cleaned before my ears were pierced. The man that pierced my ears made sure to tell me everything he could about how to take care of the piercings and then some. Safe to say I had a great experience and I will absolutely be returning!

Blake did a small walk-in tattoo for me that turned out really amazing and Im super pleased with it. He also did my piercings that were quick and easy as it could be. Prices were very fair for the great quality of work. The shop looked very clean and professional and the artists were very trustworthy! Couldnt have had a better experience.

Went with my Adult Daughter for her 2nd Ear Piercings on Monday evening, Jan 16, 2023 to Artistic Edge Tattoos & Piercings. This was at minimum my 4th visit to this same business.We had the PLEASURE of getting Matt Dombrowski as our Piercing Professional, and he could NOT have been ANY BETTER BOTH PROFESSIONALLY & PERSONALLY!!! Cannot recommend him ENOUGH, or give enough 5 star ratings and examples to show WHY there should be no other choice in GEORGIA. He literally explained every part of procedure, why Qtips are not used to clean the front/back healing ears/earrings, he sanitized every piece in a machine, put on gloves before starting any of this, showed my Daughter how the new backing are removed, cleaned the ears with iodine first, then placed the approx marks on her ears to ensure she was happy with the spacing, then placed the sterile drape over each ear one at a time, then pierced them. HIGHLY RECOMMEND Matt Dombrowski @ Artistic Edge!!!!!! A++++++Wouldnt go ANYWHERE ELSE. He is so kind and gentle and professional. Love Matt Dombrowski for ALL YOUR Piercing/Tattoo needs!!, ,

I got a piercing here and they were amazing! The people were very nice, friendly, and knowledgeable. Matt made sure I knew everything that was happening and how to care for the piercing after. It was also very sterile. I will definitely go back for any future piercings!

Went here to get my industrial piercing done. I cant imagine having a better experience. Everyone there was very friendly and welcoming. I got my septum pierced here yesterday by Matt. He was so kind and professional and made sure I was comfortable the entire time. His little office space was covered in cool art and the vibes in there were so soothing. He tells you exactly what he’s gonna do before he does it. Out of everyone in the store, he was the only one wearing a face mask, which is essential during a global pandemic. During the procedure, he had me lay back in this comfy leather chair and had me breathe in and out as he put the needle through. It barely hurt at all! It felt similar to the pain/pressure that you feel when you get a bunch of chlorine water up your nose. He gave me detailed instructions on aftercare and cleaning it and even offered a FREE check-up consultation one month after the piercing. I’m so grateful that I got this here! Thank you, Matt and the Artistic Edge Staff!

This is a wonderful place to go if you want a tattoo or piercing. Ive gotten work done by Blake and Josh. They both do very good work and they take pride in anything they do no matter how big or small. They treat you like you have been friends for years. Blake has also pierced my daughter a couple of times and he is very professional and clean and makes sure you are happy with the placement before he gets started. All of the artists are great and would recommend them to anyone looking for ink work or a piercing in Rome!

As a first time visitor, I must say... this experience was disheartening. Customer service must be approved upon. Not only was the service of low quality, but the artist himself (Ethan) was not friendly. Seemingly, he did not to want to assist me and gave the impression that he did not want to be at work. He continuously talked to other customers while I stood there waiting patiently for his attention. This, of course, is bad customer service. I had heard such great things, but I will look elsewhere to get my tattoo.

My friend and I brought in her daughter, who had been begging to have her ears pierced. Matt was exceptionally patient with her and did a great job! Especially given that 6 year old girls probably arent his usual clientele. Matts also very meticulous when it comes to clean, sterile work. I would definitely recommend him. The only thing change I would recommend to the shop is a larger selection of jewelry.

THE BEST in Georgia hands down! The shop is clean and modern and doesn’t play ear drum busting music the whole time which is nice when you’re a WHIMP like me and need to focus during your sessions. My artist is Josh Schuver who I can’t say enough great things about. He is worth every penny and MORE!!! Then there is Cody who provides you with homemade muffins while you’re there, felt like I was visiting my grandma. He’s a gem! If you’re looking for original artwork and top notch tattooing THIS is the place for you. Love them So much!!

My friend got her tattoo here and it came out amazing!! I rated 4 stars, however, because the lowest price for getting 2 lobe piercings would be $175.... I say go to this place for your tattoos because they seem super sanitary and did an amazing job, but maybe look elsewhere for piercings due to the price.

Matt is exceptionally clean and personable! Helped me with a tricky septum ring change, and was extremely gentle and verbal about what he was doing. Would highly recommend him to anyone needing piercings done or needing help with bar & ring changes.

I took my 17 year old son Friday to get his 2nd piercing. Matt is great. I was very impressed by how knowledgeable he was and much he explained before, during, and after. My son went several weeks ago to get his eyebrow pierced and Matt didn’t recommend it for my son and the structure of his brow. Matt could of taken the money and just pierced it anyway but he didn’t!! This shows he really takes pride in his job and cares about his clients.

I got my septum piercing earlier today and met the nicest dude. He was very reassuring and talked to me throughout his prep. He was polite, honest, and genuinely took the time to find that sweet spot so that my piercing was right. I had no doubts that the jewelry, tools, and hands were sterile. Was reassured about the steps to aftercare and to call with any questions. Cant wait to return for another piercing (it might be a while but I swear Ill be back)! -Beck

Was looking for a new tattoo shop and came across this one . Super glad I did, because everyone at the shop was amazing. Got pierced by matt for probably the fourth time, he is absolutely awesome with the detail, attention and quality of jewelry he customizes. he will not pierce you with anything but the best and only if he feels youre anatomy can support the piercing. that is so important! the shop is lucky to have him!!!

Not sure if they tattoo African Americans lol I’ve been hitting up one of their artist cody non stop inquiring to book him he just reads my messages and never replys lol but I hear good things about the shopI acknowledge your reply below and I wasnt insinuating anything but given my opinion from not seeing any African Americans customers pictures on his site at all out of a hundred maybe 2 and then he I replied more than once he read every message about my tattoo on different days and just choose not to respond it’s not a big deal to me that’s just how it felt if you want I can’t post how many times I wrote and he viewed and it wasn’t Facebook but Instagram where he promotes his business he even said he had an open spot so he was T busy he just choose not to respond and I said I heard great things about the shop so I wasn’t saying everyone in a whole

Amazing staff they really care about people Cody has done 4 of my tattoos cover ups his lining and shading is magnifacent, he is amazing at it the other staff are friendly and make you feel welcomed in there company paitent with you they give you your moneys worth . Best tattoo I have. Even though it was late and I was half asleep from being awake all day, everyone was awesome and had a great envrionment. And the place was super clean and they sterilize everything after each client. I would drive 3 hours here just for another tattoo.

Went in for just a belly ring and it was Very expensive Prices went up very quickly for some reason. Normally I go to this shop to have everything done but unfortunately I had to go to body canvas for it. The only reason why I will still go is because I love Blake’s work on his tattoos

I had a good experience overall, and the shop is very modern and clean. The artist who tattooed me seemed a little buzzed when working, but his work was still pretty solid. That individual no longer works at the shop, however.

I literally have just gotten off the phone with them. And I am not going to have anything done in this parlor simply for the fact that the girl who answered the phone was very rude. I was asking her questions and in the middle of it before I could even finish speaking Im interrupted with okay have a good day and hung up on. If theyre like that over the phone I cant imagine what they would be like in person. Phone manners are very important and she ought to learn some.

Josh and Raiden are absolutely phenomenal artists. I couldnt recommend them any more. Do yourself a favor and let these guys work on you If you value artistic integrity and talent.

Matt was absolutely fantastic! I love my two tattoos!

My daughters and I got matching tatoos, right down to the infection in our arms. All three need to be touched up and color fixed.

Walk in an hour before they closed looking for something simple and Santi knocked it out pretty quick.
