Erin G. was absolutely amazing! We got our 1 year olds ears pierced with her and it was such a smooth process. She made sure that my baby was confortable with her and gave her fun toys to distract her during the process. About two weeks later, my daughter lost one of her earrings and they were more than happy to bring me in asap and not only give me an extra set but also, replace both gems so they still matched. Her & her family were so sweet and down to earth. 100% recommend!

Erin G did a double piercing on me today, and was fantastic! This is my 3rd piercing from her, and she always makes me feel comfortable!

Ashley did an AMAZING job on my foot tattoo (June 2023) which was in honor of my red eared slider that passed away after 24 years. We got our almost 10 month olds ears pierced with Erin G. and she was wonderful. So incredibly patient, made sure that the holes would be in the perfect spot and talked us (the parents) through every step of the way. Even though there were tears as expected our baby girl was still giving Erin smiles as wel left. Also a very clean and comfortable space.

If I could leave more stars I would. Recently took my daughter to get her nose pierced. She was super nervous and anxious. Erin took her time with her, explained the process, answered our questions and even taught her some breathing exercises. She didn’t feel a thing and the process was so smooth. This place is amazing, 100% recommend.

Experience means a lot to a great tattoo, but Sailor Cher’s went WAY beyond just knowing how to ink! This was my first (of hopefully many!) piece by her, and it makes me smile everytime I look down at it! Erin G is amazing! She pierced my twin toddlers ears and they didn’t even flinch. It was a long process as she was able to become friends with them without making them nervous or anxious. I can’t say enough good things about Erin and the amazing job she did with my 11 year old daughter. My daughter had a bad experience a few years ago at a chain piercing place and has some anxiety issues with needles but finally decided she wanted to try again. She spent at least 45 minutes with us going over every step of the procedure, after care, and generally just putting my daughter at ease. There were no tears and not even a flinch. All I can say is WOW! We took my 4 year old here on a whim to get her ears pierced for her birthday. Erin G spent sooo much time making this a comfortable and easy experience for my daughter. Nothing was rushed, and my daughter trusted her completely by the time it came to pierce. Everyone here was so welcoming. It’s a tattoo shop but nothing felt intimidating about it at all. They gave my daughter a bracelet, a temporary tat, candy and stickers at the end! This is where I will get all future piercings for myself now. I SWEAR Erin is magic because this time around my nose has felt so normal and is healing beautifully. I would never go to anyone else ever again. Ash took great care of me. I had an old tattoo that the artist had blown out (ink leaked). It was small, but she was able to cover it well while keeping ot an overall small tattoo. Its healing well. Ill definitely go back to her for more work in the future! Reasonable prices, too.

We took our 8 month old to get her ears pierced and saw Erin. She took her time, explained everything and was very sweet to our baby. Her ears are lined up evenly and she explained our aftercare directions as well. We highly recommend Erin for your baby’s ears!

I came here with two of my friends after I turned 18 and I was getting my septum pierced. I was obviously terrified but wanted to do it. Erin came out and made jokes, making me feel better because of the lightened atmosphere. She was very sweet and understanding I was nervous so she gave me something to hold. She walked me through everything and told me she wasnt going to count to three, whenever I exhaled she would pierce my septum. She was an amazing piercer and I will definitely come back when I want some more.

Nice people but appointment times are worthless. Wish we were told that before we came as we sat for over 2 hours past our appointment time with our 9 month old to get her ears pierced before we were seen.One of the earrings has now fallen out and it is impossible to get it back in. Avoid this place if you care about your child.

Erin was beyond patient with our little girl and made sure to make her feel comfortable and take things at her own pace while piercing her ears. 10/10 would recommend to anyone! I went to Erin for my nose piercing after having a bad experience at another local piercer. She couldnt have been better/nicer! She helped me with the issues I was having, changed out the nose piercing, talked me through the whole process, and explained the after care in detail. She is gentle, knowledgeable, explains things thoroughly, and really makes you feel comfortable. If youre interested in getting any piercing, you truly cant find anyone better than Erin! And, the prices also cant be beat.

I decided to come to Sailor Cher’s after having a terrible experience getting my nose pierced at a different shop, and I was helped by Erin. I had complications with my piercing and had been dreading coming to another shop due to how uncomfortable my last experience was. Right away, I knew she could tell how stressed out I was. She was super comforting and assured me I was in a safe space and that definitely meant a lot, I felt so much more comfortable opening up about all the issues I was having with my piercing without the feeling of being judged. She sat and worked with me asking many questions about the piercing and helped me find a solution. I was so relieved when everything was fixed and I will definitely be coming back. ASK FOR ERIN she is AMAZING!

I went in for 2 piercings, a monroe and nose. Erin took exceptional care of me while in there. She made sure to ask and get my piercing background first, and was very informative about the rules of piercings, aftercare, and all the whys and hows. I really appreciated that she took the time to do that. At the time of the piercings, there were no surprises, and she talked through every step she was taking. Ive had both piercings done before, and this is just my personal experience, but, when Erin did them, they didnt hurt near as bad as the other times I had gotten them. Im a week out now, following her after care instructions, and they both look really good! I highly recommend coming here for piercings, my next visit will be a tattoo!

Erin was absolutely amazing! My daith piercing was my first cartilage piercing, and it was no biggie! Erin was super informative and clear. So sweet! I hugged the monkey, and felt only a weird pressure. Now I have a cute piercing, no pain, and know everything about the care. Plus, shes only a call away. Worth the 2-hour drive! Shes the only piercer I want!

I took my 16yo to get their ears pierced today and I cannot speak highly enough of the staff. From the phone call when I set the appointment all the way through the process we felt welcome and that we were in kind knowledgeable hands. My kiddo was definitely more nervous than they let on and Erin g was patient, friendly, and explained every step of the process to her so that she could feel more at ease. I got a tattoo by sailor Cher about a year ago and it was an amazing experience. This past week I went in to get a daith piercing and they were really busy. I emailed Cher and she was able to get me an appointment later in the week. After my experience with Erin G. I understand the wait. She is excellent at what she does and has a great personality. I went to Sailor Chers for my 18th birthday to get my nipples pierced. I have to say that I would definitely recommend Erin.G for anyone looking to get a piercing. Erin.G was very informative, patient, and understanding. She was also very professional. She was very informative about each step, proper aftercare and things that I should avoid to prevent infections and snagging. She walked me through each step making sure that I was 100% comfortable through the entire sitting and with the positioning/placement of my piercings before moving forward. She was very patient with me while I had to take a break in between piercings to get it together. She was also very clear that if i had any questions or concerns to not hesitate to contact her about them. She is also a great Hype-man. She really tries to help you get through any nervousness. She is great at what she does. I will definitely be coming back for any future piercings.

Omg! I went to Sailor Chers to get my nose pierced yesterday. They were so cool and I felt soooo comfortable the whole time. Erin G was my piercer, she literally spent 10 minutes just seeing how my nose moved and what would be the best placement. Cher is GREAT, she does an amazing job and I’ve had her (only) ink my sleeve in the past. Can’t say enough positive feedback about her, however my issue is the scheduling/front desk customer service. I had made an appointment earlier in the week for help with my Monroe piercing that had came out and I was missing the piece and didn’t know the length/size of the gauge- so my appointment was scheduled for Thursday 4 sharp. Day of, I get a phone call requesting I come in at 4:15 due to an appointment adding on to their visit. No problem. I arrive at 4:20 and was told to take a seat. Well, 10 minutes go by, 30 minutes go by, 40 minutes pass, then an hour and I wasn’t told it’ll just be such and such more minutes or anything. I just left after an hour, that’s absolutely ridiculous. Very frustrating as well taking time to drive 20 miles because I’ve had such great experience with Cher at my tattoo sessions but man this was well…nonsense.

Maybe they were having a bad day. My girlfriend wanted her septum pierced, they were too busy to greet us for about 20 minutes. Ok. They finally spoke to us and estimated a 30 minute wait. Several other people walked in wanting various sizes of tattoos and were greeted more promptly... k. We waited outside (leaning against the front window in plain view) for a bit then came back in after 35 minutes. The customers who had come after were being seated. We waited another 15 minutes in the lobby without so much as a ‘hey, we’re backed up’ or anything. Just ignored. Went back outside for a cigarette, talked it over, went to Ms. Deborah’s and had a fantastic, prompt experience in a cleaner and calmer shop. They will definitely have my business for my next tattoo work- their flash looked awesome and the artists seemed very competent and friendly.Edit: yea this was over a year and a half ago- not during the pandemic. But maybe things have changed.

Cher completely exceeded my expectations for my Memorial piece for my father! I really could not have found a more perfect fit for someone to do this tattoo and knowing that she did it with such care for my first big tattoo. She made sure that I was comfortable throughout the entire process and just helped me connect with my father who had passed away by being able to mix his ashes in the ink itself. She captured each flowers so beautifully

On a visit to St. Augustine, FL. I decided to get my nose pierced. I have no tattoos or other piercing so imagine my anxiety wanting to pull this off. Her daughter Erin is the piercer in the new studio and has done several piercings for me. They are both friendly and professional. I just got my tongue pierced and Erin was comforting me before I got it done and we even dance because we were wearing matching shoes. She filled me in on everything. I also like how they give the free downsize piercing for when your swelling goes down. I would go back.

Best tattoo experience Ive ever had! Gave me a reason to go back to Florida! Everyone was awesome, felt like I walked into a shop of friends. Cant wait for the next 14 hour drive to get another tattoo.

Kris is AMAZING!!! My sister and I got matching tattoos on our necks. My sister already had a tattoo on her neck that she got a couple years ago. Kris was able to match what my sister already had perfectly and put it on my neck. Then she did an amazing job of adding on a symbol underneath the wording on both our necks. The tattoos werent anything too fancy, yet she still spent over 2 hours with us making sure that everthing was PERFECT. She took her time triple checking that everthing was exactly how we BOTH wanted it. Because it was my first tattoo, rather than assuming that my sister would explain things to me, she took extra care in making sure I knew exactly what was going on, she explained in detail how the healing process works and what I should be watching out for, and she made sure to go over the aftercare in great detail and answered ALL my questions thoroughly. My sister has been to a total of 4 different tattoo parlors for all her tattoos and said that Sailor Chers was by far the best tattoo parlor that shes ever been to. Our youngest sister turns 18 in a few months, but lives in North Carolina, so weve decided to have her make the trip down here to St. Augustine just so that Kris can do her first tattoo. Cant say enough how AMAZING Kris is...the whole shop for that matter, its such a warm and friendly environment. It honestly doesnt feel like I got a tattoo, it feels like I got a piece of art.

I understand that it was toward the end of the day however I went in and asked if a very small tattoo couldve been done. She just flat out told me No. Never offered to schedule me for an appointment or ask what I wanted or anything. Never mind the fact there wasnt anyone else in the salon. I guess she just didnt want or need the money. Thought it would be really neat to get a tattoo while on vacation but I guess I will just go to my artist at home.

Ash is an amazing artist. She went above and beyond. We were both taken excellent care of. Super clean facility. Exactly the outcome we wanted. Excellent experience!

I love Sailer Cher and everyone in her shop. I had a mastecotomy 5 years ago for breast cancer and everytime I looked at scars it was an ugly reminder of what I had gone through. I went to Sailor Cher and told her what I had in mind. When I came for my appointment the next day she had a much better design ready for me to look at. It was a beautiful butterfly with the pink ribbon for the middle of its body and a pretty vine on each side. The color are so pretty and it is so feminine. Once she was done I cried it was so pretty and done so well. Now when I see my breast there is no ugly reminder of what breast cancer took from me but a wonder design that I love. I feel so much better about my body now. Thanks Sailor Cher for doing that for me.
