I walked in for a septum a few minutes after they opened. Fantastic service, workers were very sweet and the process was fast. I hadnt realized they only did cash and venmo/cashapp but that wasnt a problem. The piercer was very friendly and confidently answered any and all questions I had! It took around 20 minutes overall and I was in and out. Amazing place. If youre getting your first piercing and want to make sure you go to a professional store, go to this place!!

My husband and I went and got piercings 3/9/24, i got my tragus done and my husband got his eyebrow, the area was clean, welcoming and the ladies were all super sweet. Weve never been here before, and I will continue to come here for any future piercings. I highly recommend them!

Super great experience!!! Came in to get a nose piercing for my birthday and it was so fairly priced I was able to get my double helix too! Raven was so fun, kind, and patient with me! She’s a very gentle piercer and really listened to my thoughts/opinions. Highly suggest this place for anyone wanting a piercing! The wait wasn’t super long for me either, but I did come right at open.

Amy was AMAZING! My five year old daughter got her ears pierced a few weeks ago and one her earrings fell out, so we had to come back in today to get it re-pierced! She was so great with her and tried everything possible to make her less scared and more comfortable! All in all- I wouldn’t recommend another place but Self Expressions!

My daughter and I went for her to get her nose done and for me to get a cheek dermal and we were both absolutely 100% pleased with the results. Ariel was fast, efficient, clean and friendly and our piercings look amazing!! The building was clean, the service was great and the price was great!! We drove an hour and a half to go there, it was worth every mile. Will definitely be going there for any future piercings and gladly recommend them to anyone looking to get pireced!

Super professional, clean, and quick! Got my Medusa pierced here and my fiancé got his eyebrow pierced, and we were in and out in about fifteen minutes. Will definitely go back for any other piercings.

They were very friendly and assisted me with picking out the proper nose jewelry that I was looking for. They offered to help me change out the nose ring since i hadnt done so by myself just yet due to having just had it pierced roughly 6 weeks prior to my visit. They are always my go to piercing studio.

The employees know their jobs and are dang good at it. My wife had her #5/#6 done in each ear and it was quick and not painless but less painful for sure.

They are super quick when you go in there. They are also so nice and clean. They clean everything right before you go back. I never have had a problem anytime I went in there or left there.

I’ve gone here twice now and both times I have been super happy with the results, not only do the piercings come out amazing but the piercers and other workers are so kind and make everything super easy and comfortable. Even on an insanely busy day with a three hour wait I was treated like I was the first client of the day, I plan to come here as long as I get pierced. ❤️Amazing place

Took my daughter to get an industrial piercing, her friend recommended this place and glad she did! Super friendly staff and Jordan did an excellent job with her piercing. Will definitely return and use them for any future piercings, highly recommend. We got there just before they opened and its a good thing; they were packed quickly, which I see as a good sign. And very affordable compared to some other places I looked at.

5/5 would recommend! They are friendly, clean, and make you feel comfortable. I got my nipples and septum done, and will be coming back for my lip!! It is kind of a long wait, so be prepared to sit for 30/45 minutes, but it is well worth it. They have a good team and good prices!

To be honest I was a little iffy about coming here. Mainly for the fact it was build off a gas station. But the saying stands true don’t judge a book by it’s cover. HOLY COW! The staff was amazing, both gals were very kind and helpful. Eager to answer any questions. The piercing experience was very quick for as many people that were in the office. Both were very kind and patient especially with customers who may have been annoying for lack of a better word. Normally I’m the kind of person who is jumpy and likes to pull away when I get a piercing. Never been to a piercing shop before, their piercer made the experience calming, quick, and some how painless. Explained everything she was going to do before she did so. They explained everything thoroughly, along with the after care process. Explained how to utilize the piercing when a migraine arises. Amazing. Not one to write reviews but this place definitely deserves it!

So far so good. They were busy, but took care of everything in a quick professional manner.As of right now, I feel she did a great job. Ill let you know once I start healing 😉Update 7/20/21:Healed beautifully. Great piercing.

Went here for dimples, medusa, tongue and nose and I love them all, they all have been healing normally and if I had any concerns or questions they answered them via messenger or in person. I believe Ive gotten all of them done by Ariel and she is the cutest and the most humorous person Ive ever had the pleasure to be pierced by, and all the staff there is very helpful and welcoming. cant wait for my piercings to heal completely so I can go get more

I took my daughter (5) to Self Expressions to get her ears pierced on Saturday. The shop was clean and cute and the staff were all so nice and professional. Ariel was our piercer, and she was fantastic ❤️ She made my daughter feel right at home and comfortable with the experience. It was over with quickly and she got a cool treat for being such a trooper. Would 10/10 recommend to anyone looking to get a piercing!

Got my tongue pierced, they did a great job! Very fair pricing, very informative on the procedure and after care.

My 10 year old wanted her ears pierced. So we took her to self expressions with her stuffed emotional support chicken. They were amazing. Talked to her about what was going to happen because she was nervous. Will defiantly go again. They were friendly and very clean.

I came here with several friends to all get piercings at once. Although they were busy, we came back in an hour or so and they were ready for us. We were unanimously surprised by the low pricing of the piercings and the jewelry -- it was a better deal than Ive found anywhere else! I got a forward helix piercing and a conch ring, Ive had no issues with either of them. The staff here was also friendly and not intimidating at all. This is a perfect place for low-budget college students who want safe piercings!

Courteous and professional. They were very busy. I filled out my paper work, paid and returned at the estimated time. Its walk-in only I was glad I was able to leave and didnt have to sit there. Highly recommend.

Cousin got her belly button pierced. The lady did a good job but she didnt give her after care instructions. I had to ask which is kind of irritating. She also has anxiety so the lady could have talked to her a little bit.

10/10 will recommend everytime Mardell and her team are the best I have had 11 piercing experiences with her. I trusted them to also pierce my childs ears. Jordan was patient and did a great job with my 5 year old. We were in and out within 45 minutes on a Saturday evening!

I love my piercing the owner is great. First time getting a piercing and I loved it. Theyre very nice and clean. They also care about the after care of your piercing. If anything is wrong they tell you to come back and theyll help you with the problem if any. Love this place very clean and professional.

My brother, and sister and I went in for a sibling day. Each got something different and everyone was so chill and the environment was amazing. My piercing has healed very nicely I just have a hard time shopping for the jewelry as I don’t know what size I need. (Snake bites)

Just got my septum pierced, not a fun experience. The shop was very nice, clean, and the piercer was very sweet! Unfortunately, they did pierce through my cartilage and it’s very crooked. It was pretty painful and due to the placement I can’t properly flip my piercing up inside my nose. Sadly, would not recommend.

Girl had no idea what she was doing and hurt me really bad, the ring they put in my lip was WAY too small and i had to dig it out of my lip due to it imbedding in my lip so bad. She told me the ring looked small and continued to put it in my lip instead of upping the size. I highly dont recommend coming here. worst experience ive had getting piercings.

I’ve gotten my nose, bellybutton, both front helix’s and my triples here and they do the best job each time. So clean and the ladies are so sweet and comforting.

I have not had a piercing for many year. I got my ear lobs done when I was little. I decided to go and get a Daith piercing. Loved it!! Everything was clean and the staff was awesome! I would definitely recommend it to anyone. If I decide to get another piercing I will definitely go back.

I thought that this establishment has great vibes! I did not receive a piercing but my sister did and it became very busy on our way out which must mean that they have great customer service and products!

I have had to have several of my piercings redone because I didn’t put them in after recovering from a surgery in a timely manner. They have redone my nose, daith, tragus and helped get my industrial stretch back out and they have been amazing every time I go in, whether it’s for new jewelry or anything else. Now we take our teenagers there too my stepdaughter has gotten her nose and her septum done just since she turned 18. All the staff are knowledgeable, patient, super friendly and great prices too.

We got there on Friday right after 5 and they started to get busy as soon as we were signed in but they were extremely quick but took time to answer any questions.

Went to self expressions to get my daith pierced after they were recommended by friends. After having my piercing for a month I went to see my regular piercer in Kansas City. She took one look at my piercing and said it had to come out. They had pierced my daith too deep which was causing too much swelling and it would not heal correctly. Frustrating that it was not done correctly the first time.

Okay so it was very clean and nice and I enjoyed the people there it was a really long wait my first time but other then that it was awesome but I would love to get my cartilage pierced today sadly they are not open.

Love this place. Everyone is so knowledgeable about what they are doing. Try to help you as much as they can with the piercings and all that. Just wonderful. Ive gone there for all of my piercings since living in St Joe; and the jewelry.

My son, my husband and myself just went there to get some ink as a special occasion. The artist who is amazing, not only designed our work but saw us without an appointment and stayed past closing time to make sure our ink we nicely done. He now has 3 new clients. Very respectful as we are forever greatful. I wouldnt go anywhere else. Highly recommended.

Very good business, I am a lung transplant recipient, and before I got my lung transplant, I had gotten my belly button pierced and they did a very good job And after I gat my lung transplant Ah, like, 6 months ago, I got my nose pierced, and 2 days ago, I had just gotten my belly button Pierced again and i can say it is very clean And has very nice staff.

I went to get my tounge peirced and its not even straight its angled to the right and caused more pain than it should have.

Didnt realize they had moved from their old location at 1011 S. Belt Hwy to the new location at 302 S. Belt Hwy. Found out when I went to buy new eyebrow rings and thats when I found out.

All of the workers are super nice, helpful, and welcoming. I highly recommend going here for any piercing!!!
