LOVE that they deleted my old review because I was honest about how Chris is a lying, scamming, terrible artist? Wild. Got all my tattoos by him and regret them all because he never lived up to a single promise. He can’t design without tracing, he can’t do simple text if it’s not cursive, he can’t even control his needle depth to prevent blowouts on non sensitive skin. It’s actually embarrassing. Every time I have showed up for an appointment (all prepaid so I didn’t have to worry about later cost beside tip) it’s some magic excuse conjured from thin air, including him having to get gas but a homeless lady pooped herself? Amongst other things. My final straw was waiting two months after my agreed appointment for my last tattoo, which I showed up for on the scheduled date and he said “um, you’re not on the schedule” to which I showed him the card that he hand wrote with my time and date of appt and he goes “oh yeah well we have to reschedule”. OK. TWO MONTHS GO BY. Where I message him every other day like hey, I PAID FOR THIS SERVICE, can you provide it? “Oh yeah come by x day” and then reschedules. Like what? I prepaid for this service and you’re going to drag me along like some kind of whelp when you’re not even talented whatsoever. Eventually it got to a point where I asked for a refund and he very rudely confronted me and said “really? You want a refund? Wow ok” like I hadn’t waited months for a service I prepaid for after receiving multiple other instances of terrible service. I only ever went back to him because people claimed he was so amazing but he’s honestly a talentless fraud who does not deserves success. If you want blown out terrible tattoos by someone who doesn’t respect you, this is the place for you!

The place is amazing. Owner is very helpful. This was my 1st time in a tattoo shop and Chris made me feel comfortable, it was an awesome experience for me to get my 1st tattoo at 64 yrs old. This is the best tattoo shop in town.

Not the best picture but Chris did an incredible job. This was my first tat and I could not be happier with it. I recommend these guys to anyone that can make the trip. Thanks again Chris!

Would definitely recommend this place to anyone! I had a sunflower tattoo fixed on my leg and Chris did better than I could have ever imagined. I’m more than happy with the end result! In addition, he made me feel very comfortable and was so nice.

Chris did my tattoo Justin did my moms tattoo theyre both are polite and respectful carry on conversations with us Id even feel him tattooing me and he did an amazing job covering my tattoo up I will be going back to get more work done from Chris

Love the artist who did my tattoo. The big rose on the top of my foot is what I had done. Reasonably priced. Great attitude and work quickly but accurately. Will go back when Im ready for my next.

Chris does AMAZING work!! I will continue to come back as long as hes still there. Recently did a matching pride tattoo for my friend and I and it turned out really great!

Scott has done 5 tattoos on me and 1 on my husband. He has not disappointed. I have multiple compliments on the Nutcracker he did. So much detail. My husband and I have matching puzzle pieces that still have the same color. We will definitely go back for any other tattoos we get. He makes you laugh and feel at ease. I love his British humor.

Fantastic service, got to set an appointment but fantastic art, got an armband done there. Yea, its simple but the precision was there. Definitely going back again for another one. Thanks for the pleasant first time experience my friend. Definitely satisfied. 5/5 for me.

I love this shop!! The artist are all really talented and professional. My best friend and I got matching tattoos and Jeff did an amazing job. He listened to what we wanted and drew up a great design. Its been several years now and the colors are still vibrant and crisp lines. I recommend Flying Pig to everyone! Best tattoo shop in St. Joe by a landslide!

Chris is Great guy, busy man. if you can get in to see him he does great work and has an awesome personality. fun to just hang out with!

Best tattoo shop in town!! Ive gotten multiple tattoos from Jeff and have been satisfied with every one of them! He also has fixed a couple of ones Ive had done in other shops in this town that were so poorly done! It also is a very clean shop and both Jeff and Chris take there jobs seriously! Definitely goto this tattoo shop you will not regret it!!!

I got cover up tattoo by Chris he is super good at what he does. It only took him 30 mins and he free handed it and I couldnt be happier! Looking forward to doing more business with this amazing parlor! I had the anarchy A and a name next to it so he just went around the A and covered the name with fire and smoke. It couldnt be happier.

Amazing place, Justin is an amazing tattoo artist. Hes done 2 of me and my husbands tattoos already, and he is perfect. Hes going to do a third one soon!

I want to get another tattoo and Chris did my one and only. I trust him and his wonderful ability to do great work on someone who is scared!

I’ve been tattooed by all three artists, each artist is extremely friendly and very good at what they do. Great relaxed environment, and very reasonably priced. 110% satisfied, would recommend to anyone.

This shop is great. Its clean, and the people are fun to talk to. Most of all, these guys really care about their work. Jeff did a piece for me that I absolutely love. Ill definitely be back.

Chris was awesome! My daughter was nervous getting her first tattoo and he was funny made her feel comfortable and did an awesome job!!

This place is an absolute joke, do NOT go here. My wife and her sisters had planned to get matching tattoos for their youngest sisters 18th birthday. We live out of town and drove several hours to Saint Joseph so they could get this done. The artist tells them THE DAY OF that he has to cancel because he has to attend a funeral. So either this guy is lying and using death as an excuse because he didnt find out about this funeral until the last minute which is a load of crap, OR this business is so POORLY RAN that they cant give their PAYING CLIENTS more than a couple hours notice. Dont waste your time , do yourself a favor, and take your business elsewhere.

This is the only place that I will go to for ink. Jeff and Chris are the nicest guys out of any artists that I know. I recommend this place to anyone thinking about getting their first or even 20th tattoo. Jeff and Chris do amazing work.

Yeah Chris screwed me also . I had set a time to go in the end of March. About a month to long for me. Then the day of went to get my tat. He tells me hes behind. To write my cell number down. And he would call when he got down with girl who was in front of me. Ha its now May still no call and I have called the shop his cell and text. Still nothing guess let the better business Bureau know also.

Had an appointment scheduled for March 24th, was told on 23rd they were closing shop. On the 24th driving by I witnessed more than just employees in the shop. Then was rescheduled for today, may 19th, only to be told while in route to the shop that a mask was required, then was sent city guidelines that says face covering, not mask. City health department cleared my shirt as a face covering and they still denied me... severely unprofessional

Was suppose to have an appointment 2 1/2 weeks ago and didn’t get notified till an hour before my appointment that the guy was out of town. Then called when they told me he would be back in and they said they would be able to get me in that day and kept pushing my back again. Very unprofessional

Im concerned about the sterilization of the needles. Im actually freaking out when I think about the STDs one can get from tattoo. Im I safe? Do they sterilize their needles when theyre done with a client?
