I have problems with men rather that they are doctors nurses piercers etc. men in general seeing my private areas but when I went in to get my nipples pierced of course I was nervous just because what I was getting pierced. It happened to be a male and he made me feel very comfortable telling me about his wife to keep my nervousness down so he could do his job. He was really great but getting your nipples pierced hurts so bad. But I did it and they do one at a time there’s not 2 people to do them both at once so you get double the pain. But it was worth it and my boyfriend just loves them. So I’m very pleased with this shop. And would go again.

The wife had a beautiful tattoo done, designed by them. Beautiful work, clean, sterile, super friendly! Great tattoo! Great customer service! Just loved everything about it!

Jay Painter is the guy to go to. I have been going to him for YEARS and recommend him to everyone I know hes currently working on my left arm making it a family source with 2 of my childrens eyes art and birth times my right arm making it into an ocean sleeve for my other two children. There is a long wait usually to get into him but he is definitely worth the wait

Clean professional and fun. They sit down to do the work and do it. Dont need 4 smoke breaks in 2 hrs. Great Job Latham.

We had Chris, he did absolutely fantastic. A little bit higher than other places in town, but 100% worth it. Super clean, super professional, not intimidating for a first timer

The first time I came in was to get my ears pierced, my seconds on both lobes and my helix. The customer service was beyond incredible and they did an incredible job making me feel comfortable. The environment was also wonderful and welcoming, so I can back to get a tattoo a couple weeks after the piercings. I had only planned on making an appointment, but one of the artists, Austin, had an opening and was able to make accommodations to work me into his schedule. He designed and tattooed an incredible piece of art, making sure I felt heard and comfortable. It was an incredible experience all around and I completely believe I have found my permanent tattoo artist!

Loved the experience! Chris was great! He made everything go smooth and as pain free as possible! Definitely will have to go back soon!

Always a great place to go! everyone in the building is nice and helpful. the level of cleanliness is astounding. i have three tattoos by Jay Painter and he ALWAYS does great work! i also have all my piercings done by them and they’ve all healed perfectly and are placed well. highly recommend all of artists and piercers in this shop!!

Great tattoos! I went to Jimmy for a cover tattoo. He did great on the cover, he finished the outline within a timely manner and was cool af. Pleasant experience. Work looks absolutely amazing. Went in for a crow cover and left with a partial forest sleeve. I would recommend to many more folks but here’s the issue.I’ve been put off for an entire year. The outline has been finished for a year and when it came to getting the shading finished, there’s an excuse every time my appointment date has come. I’ve been rescheduled 5 different times as something always comes up. I understand life happens, but 5 different times? Sounds like a lot of excuses. I have a feeling I keep getting put back is because I’ve already paid for the work to be finished, but there’s other paying customers. As I understand it’s a business, I paid for a service that I expect to be finished if it’s already been paid in full.

Amazing place. All of the artists are incredibly talented. Great atmosphere makes you feel very welcome and comfortable. Highly recommend.

Got a septum piercing done by Nick and he was absolutely amazing! I got very faint after the piercing and he let me stay there, lie down, got me a candy bar, some water, and this amazing lady even gave me a chewable tablet (to get blood sugar back up) until I was back to normal and could head home. I am very appreciative of both of them, 10/10 definitely recommend!!

Went in for ear piercing with Nick and was more than pleased. Both with his work and the cleanliness of the tools and the shop. I would 100% recommend this place for your piercing needs.

At first I was really scared about getting my septum. The lady was super nice and talked me through it. The whole experience took less than 15 minutes!! The place is very clean and has good vibes :). I did a little shopping after I got my piercing and while I was shopping the ball fell off so I went back and she got me in immediately and fixed it for FREE! I HIGHLY recommend this place.

Worst money ever spent. Kannon loyd booked me himself, saw what I wanted & told him where, he assured me no problem. Got there & seemed put out by the size & placement I wanted. Over a month later & it still looks like it is bleeding & none of the lines are smooth. Now I am branded with something that looks like no one with any experience was playing at. Waited 20 years to find the design I wanted, seems like a good place for artists but I guess I should have waited longer. He charged me almost double for an all black tribal than we spent on my daughter’s cosmic dream catcher done by another in their group. Will never recommend that he be used by anyone. Burn the money, you will get better value.

I would highly recommend this place to anyone considering some new ink. Chris always brings my tattoo ideas to life with a uniqueness to them. Dont see myself ever going to another tattoo parlor. Staff is always welcoming and its a comfortable atmosphere to be in for multiple hours.

Total disappointment. I was going to not post, but the situation just worked on me. Booked an appointment on February 25th for a 4 hour session today (March 24th). I wanted to get bands on my arm and at the time the guy at the front desk recommended 2 artists that he thought I should use. I picked one and looked forward to getting done. Today I show up 15 minutes prior and my artist (who showed up after) says that he had just looked at my artwork last night, the night before my appointment. Very hesitant, as he said the bands are really something he couldn’t feel confident in (lining up, etc.). It would have been nice to know BEFORE I made the half hour drive up for a 4 hour appointment, in any one of the days of the month wait. I won’t, in fairness, name the artist, but suffice it to say I’ll move on.This could have all been avoided with some simple communication. I won’t be going back.

This place is amazing. It houses the one, the onky Jimmy Jam Isreal. They are very friendly, they are VERY knowledgeable.And ALL of them are amazing artists. Highly recommend

My brother had a spur of the moment decision to get a tattoo so we drove 2 hours to St. Joe. When our original plans fell through, google led us to Independent Tattoo Company and it was bomb as hell. He loves his ink and Chris was a super chill guy and easy to work with. Not to mention you cant beat the prices!

I have gotten 2 tattoos by Alex. They are amazing. He is phenomenal. Nick is so sweet, kind and so funny. This 52 year old highly reccomendes these young men. Thanks again guys

This was my first tattoo at 58 years old. Very impressed with the studio and Latham did a great job on my KC Chiefs arrowhead. I will definitely go back to him for my next one. Super Bowl Champs Baby!!!

I absolutely love this place. First time getting a piercing from them but they do make you feel so comfortable they talk to you and they have great service I recommend going.

Was very happy with my work on the first visit but was extremely disappointed during my second session. Tattoo did not at all look remotely close to what I wanted or the picture I used for reference. Contacted this artist to remedy and he did not have much to offer and really didn’t appear to want to fix it. Eluded to me that he felt rushed. Eventually sought other options as he turned out to be unreliable in my opinion. I absolutely loved my tattoo until my second visit. Now I’m seeking options to cover the whole thing up.

I got my first tattoo done here the day after my 18th birthday, it was clean and my artist did good work, considering I only got a signature tattooed on me. But everyone was very dull. I was very uncomfortable. My artist (he didnt tell me his name) asked how I was and that was it. I wish he would have talked to me a bit more. I understand people have to focus when they tattoo someone but mine was literally just line work. I was hoping for everyone to be more inviting. I gave it a 4 star because the work was good. But I wont go back. I was hoping I had found the place that would do all my tattoos. But Ill find somewhere else.

Cody was awesome. He was very professional and made my sisters and feel very comfortable while getting our tattoos. Definitely going back to him for more tattoos.

Went today for a naval piercing and it was amazing! The place was super clean and well-kept, and the whole staff was really kind. Also, the guy who did the piercing talked the whole time to try and distract from the piercing which was super helpful! Absolutely loved it!

We filled out the paperwork only for them to say my sister couldn’t get her lip pierced there because she was too young (even though she already had one) and had to redo all of my paperwork because I’m a minor although we provided identification before even receiving the paperwork. Unreasonable price for a bellybutton piercing with very small balls and one came off a few hours later so had to buy a separate one just for the ball. But they were nice.

They do good work sometimes. Even their best guy Jimmy has bad days..... like the day I came in. Must of been one of those days.Tatts by Trin... look her up instead. Just a suggestion

I get a tattoo. I loved it but I think the Saniderm sticker pulled a lot of ink out. I contact the shop to see if they can shade it darker and fix a few lines. They say they can help but give me a terrible run around when trying to make a touch up appointment. I do not recommend this shop.

This is an amazing place to get a tattoo . Top-notch Work. This is a place where you can Enjoy the company of the people that youre around . I dont ever want to go anywhere else ! I feel that I would trust any artist there to do the most phenomenal work !

Its a cool laid back place the piercer was awesome and they are super patient talking about tattoo ideas and trying to find your style its more higher end in pricing but in my opinion you get better quality when you pay more money.

Ended up being less than quoted!! ( got a bindi dermal) They were awesome, nice, professional and really showed interest in their job. I will be going here for all my body art needs

Looks like they remodeled from my last tattoo. Three receptionist was nice and helpful. Only gave 4 stars because i didnt get a tat that day only put down a deposit.

Ive had work done by all of them, and they are the best this town has to offer. Just dont go in on a whim , and expect a tattoo that day they are usually booked for a month or three.

Booked an appointment last month show up today to get my tattoo and the artist didnt want to tattoo me they did give my money back but waisted my time and now must look for a shop that dosnt discriminate will not be back do not recommend and will be filing a report with the City
