Me and my husband went today as walk-ins and was greeted immediately and taken care of. Mike was our artist. He did an amazing job and was super friendly. Would definitely recommend visiting their shop.

I had the pleasure of getting some work done with my guy Rayko, He did a really good job and he was professional and skilled at his craft. No complaints at all. The shop was clean the staff is friendly and if you’re looking for solid work book with rayko he will not let you down.

Rayko and Mike did these for me. Showed/told them what I wanted and they did it no questions asked. Almost no pain, very fast, calm and professional. First shop I’ve ever been to. Very chill, very clean, will keep going there.

Got a walk-in tattoo for their Friday the 13th special. Rayko did an excellent job on my tattoo. He gave me exactly what I wanted and I love it. He was fast yet thorough - all around a great experience. Definitely recommend him and this shop!

Mike did an amazing job revamping one of my tattoos from years ago that needed some love. he was very professional and creative with it. highly recommend this shop and him

On July 9th 2024 my aunt passed from a 5 year battle with breast cancer. I told Rayko exactly what I wanted with a bright pink ribbon and her handwriting. He delivered beyond my expectations!!

My bestie and I walked in to see if we could get matching tattoos. Rayko took us as soon as he could and drew up exactly what we wanted. He was kind, quick and did a great job. We are both happy with our friendship tattoos. I definitely recommend going here and going to Rayko.

Raygo was an awesome tattoo artist. He gave me the size I wanted and not all the extras. He was gentle and not heavy handed. I would go back again and prefer anyone to him especially if it is your first time. Price was very reasonable.

Drove up from Delaware for the Friday the 13th flash sale. Saw a design I wanted and was able to be signed in and seen quickly. My artist RAYKO was very attentive and had a FIRE 🔥 playlist. Would recommend for your tattooing needs.

Got my first ever tattoo done by Rayko. Great experience overall, he was able to work with a design I had drawn up and executed it perfectly. Very professional and easy to work with. I would definitely recommend going to him if you are in the area.

The last day before we left from our vacation my boyfriend and I decided to get tattoos and he found this place. Everyone was mad cool. Almost like we were friends and not customers. We told the tattoo artist what we wanted. He gave great feedback and advice. I showed him a pic of what I wanted. He put something together and it was perfect. I went first and it turned out so great....I almost cried. He even added my halo free of charge. I thought that was sweet. My boyfriend told the artist to freestyle and what theme he was going for. It came out great. We both loved it. The prices were reasonable as well. Should we visit again, we will definitely hit them back up.

JOSEPH!!! stopped in this shop on the way through town. This kind gentlemen gave me and my niece top notch service. Time and talent abound. My pictures do not do justice for this artist. Rayko was great! I reached out yesterday for a tattoo for my son and one in memory of my mom, and he got me in today and did beautiful work.

This was my first tattoo and Mike was amazing, very soft spoken, he drew very nice designs and the whole process was very minimum pain just a little pressure and pinch but Mike was amazing and I HIGHLY recommend him!

I went in for a couple of tattoos on a whim and Rayko was absolutely amazing! He took his time and was surprisingly light handed, I barely felt a thing. I would definitely recommend him if it’s your first tattoo and even if it’s not.

I made an appointment with an artist and put down a deposit. I was called and told that the appointment would be rescheduled. When I resceduled, I made it known that it was for a specific artist. When I showed up it was for a different artist. I made it clear why I wanted that artist and was told I could pick another artist but that was all they could do. So I asked for my refund back. Ive been told that It shouldnt be a problem and they would contact me back twice. They have not. Where is my deposit?Why on earth would I want a tattoo from liars and cheats.

Talented artists and nice shop. I’ve came here for 3 tattoos so far and I’ve had a great experience with each one. My latest was done by RAYKO and he did a fantastic job I will definitely be asking for him again.

My sister was visiting for her birthday this past weekend and decided for her 62nd birthday she wanted to get sister tattoos. She has NEVER had a tattoo in her life, I was so excited! I do have more than several tattoos so Im always ready to get another! Well, from the receptionists to the artist I recommend RX!! Just got two ear piercings here! The piercer was so nice and personable. Made me feel super comfortable and I got a lollipop at the end!!!

I went a few days ago, and had a great first tattoo experience! My artist Mike, did a fantastic job and was extremely friendly. He also helped a lot, with talking through the tattoo and process, as I was pretty nervous. I definitely will be returning again in the future! Highly recommend.

Went here and saw a get what you get tattoo and was very happy with the one i received but they don’t make you get the tattoo if you don’t like it. Had Rayko do my tattoo and it was very inexpensive only $60 so i was nervous but Rayko did an amazing job and i couldn’t be happier with the job that was done.

I got a tattoo about 6 months ago. My tattoo started showing signs of infection before the end of the night, and was only one color of my tattoo. The ink he used in me was contaminated and I had to get antibiotics as well as blood borne pathogen labs done. This $200 tattoo became a $1200 with labs, medication, and doctors visits. I have reached out to this shop to help rectify this mistake made on their part and have been actively ignored by them. If this was a reputable shop they would take the steps to learn from this mistake and have great service recovery. They never even inquired about the contaminated ink, so I hope it was not used in another customer causing a second infection.

Went to get my first tattoo here and had a great experience. they were clean and professional and put a lot of effort in to make sure i got exactly what i wanted. scheduling was fast and easy too. Zach and Savanna are great.

I really like Rx Tattoo. I dont have tattoos, only piercings, and this is my second time coming to Rx. Two of my kiddos have gotten pierced at Rx as well. All of our experiences have been memorably positive. This was our first time in the new location. It was clean, with decent décor, and for the most part, welcoming staff.We came for the discounted piercing special theyre running throughout October, so if youve been waiting to get pierced, go now! Almost every type of piercing is included. (I do not get anything for telling you that.)Bella was our piercer this time. She did my conch and daith first. They really hurt, and I dropped an f-bomb or two, but it was super sharp and then over before it started, each time. Its only been a few days so far, but Ive had zero problems with my new hardware. My kiddo has had virtually the same experience with their new nostril and 3rd lobe piercings.We received really thorough aftercare instructions, along with great advice on what kind of jewelry to wear in each of these new holes in our heads. Ill be back, no doubt about it.

Rayko made my tattoo experience pleasant. The environment was clean and friendly. He took time to explain the process and answered my questions. The aroma in his station was soothing. Thankfully, he was light handed which made the tattoo almost painless.

I’ve gotten two tattoos and a nose piercing from here and I will never go anywhere else. Everybody is extremely friendly and the vibes are great. The guy you meet when you walk in is super funny and definitely made me feel less nervous while I was waiting. Everything is really clean and neat.

For me its always hard to find the right artist. I have to read reviews, see artist work, etc. I had a piece done at RX over the weekend and absolutely love it! First off the shop is super clean and the staff is super friendly. My artist Nabin (Bini) did an amazing job. He got exactly what I wanted to portray in my tattoo, lines were super straight and spot on. Im already working on another piece for them to do. Highly recommend!!

Completely unprofessional and horribly managed. Changed the artist I was scheduled with twice, showed up and was scheduled with yet another artist. Zero communication regarding the artist change. When I called to ask who I was scheduled with and how much time I was scheduled for, the person I spoke with was rude and acted like I was being unreasonable and wouldn’t give me a straight answer. I cannot believe the reviews of this place are as good as they are. They have some good artists but they need to look for a new location if they want to build their reputation and portfolio because the owner/manager of this place is dooming them to failure. I would try to communicate with artist directly and bipass the shop if you can.Edit to add since their reply is not even correct. Our appointment was at 5 pm. Instead of providing any communication regarding the apparent inability of the shop to maintain artists, they literally booked an apprentice who had never tattooed a customer before. I think informing us (five of us had appointments booked with a deposit) of the situation would have been appropriate. Thank god another artist did my tattoo due to time constraints because the apprentice clearly appeared to lack the confidence to complete my piece.The whole situation was a MESS. Again, my tattoo ended up beautiful and I love it, but the shop/owner/management is a disaster.

My girlfriend and I got a tattoo last weekend. Called and asked for availability, they fit us in right away. We sent over ideas, and by the time we got there they had great ideas! Staff was super friendly and talented. Really laid back, yet clean and professional. We will return when back in town! Love the tattoos!

The wife and I visited on a whim for our 20 year wedding anniversary. They where able to squeeze us in same day to do a couples tattoo session for us. Josh was our artist. He was very friendly, funny and did an amazing job on the pieces that we wanted. If Im ever down that way again Im going to make sure to stop in and get some more work done. Great place with great staff.

I would definitely recommend this place. Took my son for his first tattoo as his birthday present. We communicated with Nabin via IG, made the appt and had no issues when we got there. They were BUSY, yet they still provided great service. Our session took over 3 hours but Nabin did take some breaks for them both (my son and him) to stretch, use the rr, etc. Tattoo came out AMAZING. My son has been receiving compliments since. Went to get my ears peirced again and the peircer peirced them diagonal instead of flat (like straight through) , they got red, itchy and inflamed like they were starting to get infected even though I have been cleaning them twice a day. I cant comment on their tattoos but do not get peirced here. There goes 60 dollars for nothing. As a side note I had to pay first before they would peirce them

My first time there was the Friday 13th special in October. My friend and I waited in line for about 2 hours, but they were running a special, so I figured thered be a line.. it was worth the wait. Everyone there was nice and friendly. Once we were back in the chair, it took less than 10 minutes for both of us to get our noses done. I took advantage of the special again on black Friday and got my tragus done. Again. Worth it. There was no line this time, and I was in and out. The piercing was quick and painless, which I was surprised. I would definitely go back again for any piercing. I havent had any tattoos done here... yet!

One of my best friends and I decided to take advantage of the Friday the 13th deals and get tatted and pierced here! We originally planned to go to a different place and saw RX on our way. We never heard of either place before since living in Millsboro, DE. The first place was a bust so we decided to hit this place up on our way back home. The line was out the door but we figured we would check it out. We stood in line from 7:20ish to 10pm. Honestly, I am so glad we did!! They were able to fit in everyone that was in line despite being past the 9pm closing time. I decided last minute I was going to get a tattoo along with the piercings I had already planned on getting. Rayko came out and asked if anyone else would like a tattoo so I said yes. I pulled up a design and he said no problem. He was efficient, comfortable to work with, and had a rockin playlist! He even designed my original tattoo better than I expected! It is healing beautifully and I have gotten so many compliments already. I will definitely be back to see Rayko with any future tattoo ideas!!!! Even though the staff had to have been tired, they all kept smiling and made sure everyone was taken care of. It was amazing seeing such passionate artists!

My mother and I visited my sister in MD and decided to get matching tattoos. I hadnt gotten a tattoo in over 20 years. I was nervous at first but my artist, Danny, made the experience as pleasant as it could possibly be. He explained how much tattoo artistry has evolved and answered all my questions. He was personable, professional, and an is an EXCELLENT artist. His touch was so gentle I even fell asleep before he finished. I will definitely get any future tattoos done here!

Unprofessional . Was inquiring about some work and was quoted a price . Nabin was to be the artist . After looking at booking a date the price changed . I called to discuss the price change and got the “ it wasn’t me “ “ I don’t know who sent that “ game . All in all I was ready to drive 4 hours based on some of what they post but can’t get an honest price .

I went and got two piercings recently (conch)My experience was great. The process went smoothly, and the piercer was very personable. The staff at the first desk was very pleasant and the business was clean.

Vrtale stopped what he was doing immediately and helped my other daughter get her to the ground safely, Bella brought her a soda and one of the other guys Im not sure which one brought her some candy and they got a wet paper towel to put on her forehead! She was only out for about a minute but the way they handled the situation was amazing and I am definitely greatful! The team at RX are amazing people and showed how much they care about their clients!

My daughter got her belly button pierced. They were fast, clean, and very professional even during an extremely busy time. We went during their Halloween sale. Very pleased.

I was going to be in town for a family get together and I booked an appointment for a few family members a month ago for small black and grey tattoos and put down a $500 deposit. The woman on the phone told me we were booked with Nabin.We called and then texted and then emailed with no response. When we did get in touch with someone to ask where to send reference photos we were told we were booked with Josh and Mike.Nobody called to let us know that Mike ended up cancelling so we would all see Josh. My sister called with concerns about the appointment times if only one artist would be doing us all.When we showed up, we were greeted by Rei and told that she would be doing our tattoos. Apparently Josh either cancelled or didn’t show up. Nobody communicated anything to us.Rei was very sweet and practiced good sterile technique.However, we were not told that we were literally her first clients EVER. She had never tattooed clients before.Again, very sweet woman but absolutely unacceptable. There was not even a more experienced tattooer around to supervise. Her mentor wasn’t even in the building.There was zero communication, they switched artists 4 times, allowed us to unknowingly be “practice” for an inexperienced and unsupervised tattooer.I’m not sure how this place has so many good reviews.This is the most horribly managed business I have ever dealt with.Would never recommend.ETA: their response here is an absolute fabrication. I have screenshots of Rei’s instagram, after the fact, saying that we were her first ever.The reason we are smiling in the after pic is because we were attempting to have fun. Even with the absurdity of it all.The lack of communication and the multiple changes in artists was ridiculous. We went from a senior artist to someone who has never had a client before, and we were never told that we were her first.Not that it really matters but our appointment was at 5:30pm. Not 11am.The tattoo didn’t get infected, but that is where the positives end.

My friend and I came here on a whim today and it was a really great experience. The gentleman in the front was great. He greeted us the second we came even with it being a bit busy. My piercer was hilarious! He was fast and good at his job, he even looked at an old piercing and provided assistance with getting jewelry back in. I will be returning again for services.

Paid for something I didnt want when I obviously wanted a different piercing than what I got. Piercer wanted to do something that I totally didnt want and I had to compromise. Paid and the guy up front didnt even tell them what i was there for. I usually go somewhere else, but couldnt for this one. But like he always talks to me about my decisions and helps me work it out. RX didnt do that. Even when I called a week before to see if they could do it. That should have been a red flag, but I was desperate. Now, Im stuck with a piercing Im not taking out cause I paid too much to take it out. I wont go back there again......

This was my first tattoo and I was so disappointed in my artist, Vrtale. He hardly spoke 2 words to me the entire time and only spoke to a girl in another chair. He did not try to calm my fears or help much with the design. I was left not liking the work and feeling very neglected. I was so excited about doing this and I just left feeling bad about the whole experience.

Rayko best man to do that job. He got me right, highly recommend coming to him.

I got my tongue pierced here a few days ago. The people are all really cool, the atmosphere is fantastic, it’s really great in that aspect.However, the guy who did my tongue piercing was WAY too rough. He pulled and twisted on my tongue so hard that the back of my neck has been sore for 3 days, and he ended up stabbing my tongue twice. When he put the jewelry in, he allowed the used needle to just fall on the floor, and he twisted my tongue almost completely around to get the bottom ball on the jewelry. He was a great guy, very easy going but it was like he was in a rush to do it and when you’re shoving needles through someone’s body, that’s not a way to be at all. I had also asked that he tell me to take a deep breath before he pushed the needle through which he didn’t do, which isn’t a big deal, it would’ve just been mentally helpful had he done as I requested.Just be more gentle and not in a rush, because I am not happy with how rough the piercer was and the fact that turning my head in the slightest is painful. Definitely will not be going here again.

I have gotten two different per-icings and my first tattoo here!! Everyone is amazing and friendly. Drew at the front desk is very helpful and answered all questioned I asked. Mike has done all he could to make my tattoo look as perfect as it could be and did his best!!

I got my first tattoo here from Mikey and it was really really good! I was kinda nervous cuz it was my first and me and my boyfriend had never been to a tattoo parlor before, but the place is clean and relaxing. Mikey was really nice and professional and made sure the tattoo was 100% how I wanted it and perfect to a T. My boyfriend is planning on getting a cover up by the new artist Sean and I love Ree, who is an incredible piercer and not only removed my micro-dermal but also did my nipples. Got my first ever tattoo from Mike at the Salisbury Shop and couldn’t be more pleased. I was 50/50 at first about getting my first tat but Mikes first approach really finalized my decision. When I first went to Rx I had a new guy do my tattoo, and unfortunately he wasn’t the greatest, along with other issues. But I tell you what; Nick the owner of Rx is amazing and stands behind his shop. He had one of his BEST completely cover up, what was my “cover up”. It’s not often you have to have it done twice, but they did it!! They are so creative and imaginative, to help me get the perfect tattoo for me, and not have it looks horrible! If I could post a picture on here of absolutely how AMAZING this shop is, I WOULD! They have GREAT prices, they have the most friendly and down to earth owner and staff, and they go above and beyond!! I really recommend them anyone I can!! This was probably one of the best tattoo shops I’ve been to and I’ve had every one of my tattoos done in or around Ocean City, MD. My sister in law and I had an appointment with one artist in particular, but he was unfortunately behind so we almost couldn’t get our tats. Thankfully another artist stepped up and offered to do my sister in laws and once another artist was open I would be called back. I ended up getting Mike and damn did he blow my tattoo out of the water! Today was my first tattoo with color and watercolor at that and oh my gosh y’all! To say I’m in love with my newest tattoo is an understatement! My sister in law and I got matching tattoos, but with our own color choices and Mike did the damn thing! I do not regret this change in artists because my watercolor turned out BETTER than I envisioned! Thank you so much for making me feel as comfortable as possible and doing a gorgeous job on my first ever color tattoo. I’m sure I’ll be back to see you next year for my bigger piece!

Not originally from Maryland, best place to get tattoos or a piercing. Everyone here was so friendly and helpful, a very easy going experience no trouble at all. Mike and James are very great at making you feel comfortable especially if it’s your first time getting a tattoo. Ree the piercer is amazing and makes you feel comfortable and relaxed. Overall amazing place wouldn’t go anywhere else in Maryland.

Had a great experience there! Went a few weeks ago to get my nose pierced, and everyone was friendly and informative. It accidentally fell out and Mike was able to talk me through reinserting it over the phone! Didn’t even need to go in. I am now planning on getting a tattoo done there and honestly won’t go anywhere else. Best people around, and that makes a huge difference.

I’ve gone there for a tattoo and a piercings! The staff is amazing, the enviroment is wonderful and so clean. I’ve never felt more comfortable in a tattoo shop and I’ve been to 4 of them. Josh Cole pierced my nipples and did my hummingbird tattoo and it all turned out amazing. He was very patient with me and made sure that I was okay during both processes. He helped me design and choose my tattoo. All of the other artist have done great work on friends of mine & it all looks great. If anyone has any type of issues they think may have occurred with anything they’ve gotten there they will gladly bring you in to make sure everything was done properly and cared for properly without any hesitation! Went to Rx Design & Tattoo with a friend to get his tattoo done. While I was there I meet Mikey B and was talking to him about some tattoo ideas. Two weeks later I called and got a appointment the next available day. Once I told Mikey about the tattoo I was getting he did some research on the tattoo, which not a lot of artists do anymore. The setting was very professional. I was so comfortable that I was starting to fall asleep and I was getting a spine tattoo with color. I’m definitely going back for my thigh sleeve even if I have to drive back up to Salisbury. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Mikey B for your next tattoo!!!!!

I had Mark, he turned a picture I showed him into reality. I have gotten three tattoos and Mark was by far the best person I have ever gotten a tattoo from. All the other tattoo artists were very friendly, they all would come up and to look to see what the tattoo was looking like, and give their opinion. Highly recommend.

I had such a great experience being tattooed by Mike. His line work is fantastic and my foot tattoo came out beautiful despite me constantly twitching in reflex to pain lol. His suggestions on shading and other small additions made it come out even better than the original picture I showed him. Plus, the place was extremely clean and everyone was super friendly. I’d be back way more often if I lived in the area.

The man who pierced my nose was super nice and quick and for the most part it was painless but the pricing of 2 nose piercings were $100 all together and I did give him a tip so $105 in total. I was a little shocked when she told me the total for it because on their site it said $25 for a piercing so I was fully expecting to pay $50 in total, not $45 for two piercings.

I LOVE THE LOCATION THEY HAVE IN SALISBURY JUST AS MUCH AS THIS ONE IN OCEAN CITY!!!! It doesn’t get much better than RX , they are extremely professional, down to earth and I always feel like I’m right at home or over a friends house when I’m around this shop, the owner, and the artists he has! Good prices too! Great location on the boardwalk in Ocean City do not pass up on getting a quick tattoo or jewelry at this shop while enjoying your vacation :)

Great tattoo place! Staff is very friendly and gives really good advice with placement and designs of tattoos. Me and best friend got matching tattoos from James and the work was so good, we immediately got more work done. Was also viewing other artists work and they know what theyre doing at RX!

Made three appointments for my sons first tattoo. 1st time artist said he didnt feel like staying and did a consultation...that was fine. 2nd time my son expressly said he would have to take off work, artist didnt show up for work or cancel, so my son lost 4 hours of work for nothing. 3rd time artist canceled and said he had someone else to do that day. We wont go back.

Just finished my tattoo with Mike, it came out way better than expected. Very professional, very clean, very comfortable environment. Wife came in for a tongue piercing, unfortunately no one was available to pierce but they were more than accommodating to offer other options which I took advantage of in getting an awesome tattoo. Definitely recommend anyone who’s in OCMD to get a tattoo or piercing at RX tattoo piercing.

The best experience I could ever imagine for my first tattoo. Mikey was my artist and he was awesome, calming, and did an amazing job.

I sent in a very clear picture of a piece my son wanted. And the size was very clear as well. We were told around 4 to 6 hours at 100 an hour. 1st appointment canceled due to sick artist. 2nd appointment canceled as well. (Again by artist) My son took off work both times. After finally showing up for our appointment they say ohh its at least gonna be $1000. Needless to say we left without a tat. After the interaction with the artist I understand why he was sick and am glad he didnt do any work on my son. I will never go there again nor recommend the place.

Ree, the piercing lady, did an awesome job on my nipple piercings. She was great from the time we walked in the door, during the process and even after! She made sure we were completely satisfied with everything! Would definitely recommend!

I came down to Ocean City for a trip and last minute I decided to get a tattoo I’ve been thinking about for quite some time for my daughter. I checked out the reviews with RX after seeing their name on the boardwalk. I was setup an appointment with Mikey right off the bat. I came with a picture of what I was looking to get done on my foot. He had the patience to resize the piece more then once before beginning to make sure it would be perfect! I was indecisive on how I wanted the color scheme to go exactly. I had the colors set in mind but which way I wanted them in the piece I couldn’t decide. I told him to use his best judgement of what colors I picked to go where and he did just that! Before applying each other he told what he was going to do where instead of just doing it. He told me I was going to leave with it being my favorite tattoo I have and he had it absolutely correct! I would highly recommend not only this shop because of its awesome atmosphere but Mikey is one hell of an artist as well!

I went these to get two ear piercings, both were in the upper ear. It was a bit painful but I think in the long run ill be pleased. In 5 weeks I will go back to get the remaining two done.Just went back to get a piercing put in, great service once again.

Generally friendly staff but I was a little unimpressed with my piercing experience compared to my experience at other establishments. Although they were clean and efficient, the piercer didnt let me see and consent to the placement markings he made pre-piercing and he didnt run through any home care of my piercings afterwards. Both of these courtesies have been offered at all the other establishments I have been to.It is unfortunate that they werent offered at RX because now I have two very uneven piercings.

When I went there I wasn’t expecting to get a tattoo or a nose piercing. I went with friends. Then next thing I knew I was getting my nose pierced which wasn’t bad. Mike did my tattoo and he was awesome. He was really sweet and took his time and with all honesty my tattoo didn’t really hurt. Everyone was super sweet and the place was really clean and everyone was welcoming.

Called booked my appointment within two hours even with no idea of how to cover up a tattoo. MIKEY took care no problem the overall scene clean and staff dope as hell definitely coming back. Im biased so I go Mikey everytime
