I’ve also had the pleasure of getting both sides of nostrils done by Mandi and she is hilarious and very thorough. Everyone here is just amazing!

My wife and I came in for tattoos and loved it so much we wanted to stay longer so we got piercings too and the piercers were the best. They were so fast and made us comfortable. Everyone there is friendly and really cool its worth checking out.

A group of us are in town for training and decided to get a tattoo. We messaged the shop on instagram with the idea drawn on napkin and they NAILED the final design. Xena’s and Paul’s work is flawless.The shop is gorgeous and their piercing selection is also extensive (I bought a new nose stud while waiting my turn).Definitely recommend if you’re in town needing some ink or piercings.Thanks for accommodating!

Love this place. The owner Branson is such a nice man and runs a top notch business. Molly helps run the place and does a phenomenal job. I’ve gotten several tattoos from Paul. Beautiful work, pays attention to detail and listens to his customers wants. Most recently had the top of my ear pierced by Mandie. Quick and very minimal pain. Plus she’s so sweet. Everyone is professional and friendly. I highly recommend Touch of Grey.

I stopped in for a piercing change and got an impulse tattoo. I super picky about where I go and was not planning to get tatted today. I loved the atmosphere and experience. Had a great chat with the owner and I think I’ve found my new tattoo home!

If I could do zero stars I most definitely would . My poor sister went here today , she wanted her belly button pierced . The woman pierced her STOMACH then proceeded to tell her that it was due to her stomach “anatomy” . She is very shy and non confrontational so she paid the $30 for the piercing and additional $20 for the jewelry itself & left . She immediately went to another shop and was told by the SEVERAL piercers there that there is absolutely nothing wrong with the “anatomy” of her stomach & that she should remove the piercing immediately and let it completely heal as not only was it not right at all & completely strange but the jewelry used should not have been put in till after the piercing had healed . She is now left literally traumatized at the hands of someone who could have just simply said “I don’t feel comfortable doing this piercing” if she thought the “anatomy of her stomach” would prevent her from putting the piercing in the correct location . Not only is she out her $50 but more importantly she is embarrassed and traumatized and could potentially be left with a scar.

Xena does amazing work. I sent my work inAnd she showed me different variations of what I had wanted. I will be returning again and again!

We came here for the first time ever to get a tattoo done. We were super impressed with the Pauls work he done on my husband. Went and seen Laranda to get my anagram of my boys names along with the beautiful owl she had chosen, very pleased with her work.

The workers here did a great job helping a group of us come up with tatoo ideas. I specifically had Paul and he went out of his way to help me with another tatoo. Service was impeccable and Ill definitely be coming back here in the future

What started as a joke quickly turned into a reality. My tattoo artist Xena was able to do her magic and turn our child-like sketch into a piece of art. Godzilla rappelling off the side of a building.

Do not go to augustine! He will not honor his work, i came back for a touch up on color that didnt stick. He will complain even after offering to pay for a touch up! Plus his line work looks looks like a toddler drew it. Every artist has honored their work. This guy will not. So please do not go to him! And frankly do not patronage an establishment that allows artists to talk to customers like that. Bro i just dont feel like it regardless augustine will not honor his work. So good luck!

Ms. D was AMAZING with my son. He got his first tattoo on his 18th bday. His tattoo was in honor of his father that was taken too soon. She explained everything and talked him through the really painful parts. He was a trooper and could not have done it without her expertise, knowledge, and general caring for her clients! Thanks Ms D!

I went in for a consultation for a cover up. I was greeted by Jay and he talked to me for a while about possibilities for my cover up. As soon as I found what I really liked, we started on it the same day. Jay was awesome throughout the whole process and made me feel comfortable.He did an amazing job and I look forward to more sessions to finish my chest piece!

Although I have not yet gotten a tattoo from here, we did stop in to talk to them about getting some work done. I have 2 tattoos that Id like covered up and possibly a 3rd. Jay came and talked to us. He took everything into consideration from the reality of getting a cover up, what my options were and what they would entail, explained different styles of tattoos to me, etc. When it came to my medical side of things, he was very professional and wanted to be sure I have permission from my doctor. Not only that, we also talked about different ways we can go about doing the tattoo due to my conditions causing slower healing times. The shop gave off a great vibe, and Jay was very knowledgeable, upfront, and an overall pleasure to speak with regarding my wants and needs. I will definitely be returning to get my work done.

Went in to talk about what type of tattoo I could get and instead of just jumping at an opportunity to make some money off of a tattoo, Jay starts asking me all these different types of questions that Ive never been asked before. Now this is not my first tattoo by any means, but this is the first time Ive been asked what type of style I wanted my tattoo to be.He also talked to my friend about covering up her tattoos and was very straightforward with her. He seemed very excited the more he talked about the different things they could do for that cover up and that got her excited too, since this tattoo shes NOT happy with and its supposed to be a memorial tattoo.On top of that, he made sure to remind me that you cant be tattooed while on blood thinners. So after he found out that I have a surgery coming up he said to make sure to ask my doctor if Ill be able to get tattooed afterwards and to make sure to heal from that before coming to get a tattoo so both can heal the right way.Jay was very professional and was very upfront about everything from the beginning. I appreciate his honesty and willingness to steer us right and not to just make a quick buck.

Went into this shop during the Wine About Winter and asked if they could do a walk in. The girl asked one of the artists if he could and he just mumbled something and sat down to get on the Xbox. After that I was completely ignored by everyone standing around so I left. I don’t know if they are afraid of making money but the demeanor of the people working there is far from friendly and inviting. I felt like an idiot standing there, almost like they didn’t think I was worthy of getting a tattoo. I wont be back to find out but I will tell anyone that asks what my experience was like.

I needed a new nose piercing because I had a problem with mine. The worker who helped me was so nice with their advice and care for the piercing and for the new jewelry. Finding the size and shape of the hook was made easy through this establishment! All of the staff was so nice and the environment felt so welcoming! 10/10 experience overall!

I went to get belly button piercing and I was super nervous and mandi was super patient with me and even made jokes to help make me feel better, she got the piercing done super quick and painless and it was overall a great experience 10/10

Paul gave me a tattoo of my favorite quote from my favorite book, and I couldnt be happier with the result! This tattoo was deeply personal to me, because it covers old self harm scars that Ive wanted to get inked over for a long time. I am so thrilled with his clean line work; he was super professional and put me at ease despite my nerves going into the appointment. I highly recommend Touch of Grey and Paul!!!

I went in to get my cartilage redone and I wanted also wanted to see what the piercer Mandy would suggest I get. I was super impressed with how well she did. I barely felt my cartilage getting done. And she suggested a couple new piercings, I ended up getting a tragus. Honestly 12/10 for the whole experience. I knew what to expect from Mandy and she was honest about it all. This experience was amazing compared to other shops I’ve been to and it just showed that Mandy knows what she’s doing.

Tyler was great!!! Helped me figure out the design I wanted (based off of a very bad drawing), gave me design options, and helped me decide on placement & sizing. His work is clean, crisp, and solid. Will be returning for my next several tattoos!!!

Didn’t feel very female friendly. I wanted a piece done, it would’ve been my first tattoo. I didn’t feel there was much passion or understanding. Their work looks fine, but comfort isn’t a priority. I didn’t get my tattoo done, I’ll be looking for a female artist that really wants to work with me.They could work on their customer service, smile a little more.

We found this shop when someone shared on Facebook. We contacted one of the artists and scheduled. Unfortunately covid and another illness struck our household and we couldnt make the appointment. Our artist rescheduled for two weeks later without hassle or complaint.Upon making our scheduled appointment time we found the shop large, inviting and clean. The staff are friendly and not intimidating. This by far is one of the cleanest shops I have been to in both Pennsylvania and North Carolina. Our artist, Laranda was very friendly and took the design we had in mind and redesigned to something better. She isnt heavy handed and is steady. Our ink work turned out great and we love them. Her rates are decent, unsure about the other artists. She also does coverups which I gave her a photo idea and she took a picture of my arm to be covered which I plan on having her do after the new year.They are easily accessible with parking to the front and back. Accept debit/ credit as well. Overall a great experience. Stop in, say hi to the turtle and get some great ink art by a great business. I will be using this shop again in the future!!

I went in for a nose piercing following a ad I seen on Facebook, when I walked in was not greeted by any of the “artists” . I walked in and said hello to everyone there. I stood at their counter for at least 10-15 minutes and no one ever said anything to me. Another potential customer(a Caucasian woman) walked in after me and the artists immediately asked her “how can I help you?” And continued to assist her while I was yet still standing. I felt discriminated against and hurt, that I walked out. If I could give zero stars I would. At the end of the day, every customer should be treated with the same respect… all money is green.
