We took our young daughter to see Derek because her recent earlobe piercings were not healing properly. He was so great with her, he answered every single question. My kid asks a lot of questions! He took great care of her, cared a lot about her sense of autonomy and showed her immense respect. She picked out some beautiful studs with rounded backs which will work great for healing. I also decided to get my nose pierced that day, which is something I’ve wanted to do for years. He did an excellent job with both of us and even my husband was impressed. Thanks Buddha Box!

Wonderful group of artists! Xene was thorough and knowledgeable. She walked my daughter through every step of the process and made her feel incredibly comfortable. When you walk in it is incredibly clean and welcoming too. Well absolutely come back when we are ready to mix things up again!

Derek is incredible. I got my septum pierced a little over a week ago, and he did an absolutely amazing job. He is the most friendly and chill person you could ever dream for as a piercer. His bedside manner is exceptional, and his skills are on point. Very little pain and its healing super easy. Also, Jess is a sweetheart. They both saw how anxious I was and spent so much time reassuring me that it would be super easy. I cannot recommend this place enough.

So happy we found this spot! My 13yr old daughter was wanting her ears pierced but nervous about the process. From the beginning the staff was very thorough and did everything possible to make the experience great. They were extremely knowledgeable & explained everything. The facility itself was very clean. Me and mine have been coming to Derek for years now. So far, hes pierced my septum (now stacked), second lobe, daith, and conch. Hes pierced my partners septum, lobes, nipples, and genitals. My friends have been pierced by him. We all have only the best to say. His bedside manner is immaculate. Hes great at being calming and reassuring. The prices are not at all ridiculous. And the work itself? High quality. I will continue going as long as hes working there.

Went here with my girlfriend to get our ears pierced and had a great experience! We were helped by Xene, who was so nice and very knowledgeable ☺️ We came in late without an appointment and they still fit us in before closing. My piercings had healed over multiple times in the past, or so I thought, but she told me they were actually still open!! She helped me to stretch the piercing and get some new earrings. In the end I was only charged for the earrings, not the piercing service even though she helped so much. All the other staff we talked to were friendly as well, if you want new piercings, come here!!!

I cannot recommend this place enough-hands down the best piercing experience I’ve ever had (and I’ve had MANY) I went in a couple days ago unsure of what I wanted to get and Derek went above and beyond to help me curate my ear and pick my jewelry out. I got two piercings that day and ended up making another appointment today to get a couple more. Derek is so knowledgeable, patient and kind and he clearly wanted me to be happy with the results which I definitely am! I’ll never go anywhere else for piercings. Keep in mind they’re very popular so you should make an appointment if you don’t like to wait!

Took my daughter here to get her nose pierced for her 15th bday. Derek is amazing! He has a gift of being able to create an atmosphere of calm for someone very nervous. The amount of care he shows, especially towards the younger ones like my daughter, is very much appreciated. This was a positive and beneficial experience for my daughter. May have created a monster as she is already planning her next piercing she wants Derek to do.

Derrick is wonderful, very knowledgeable, kind and will definitely be returning. Me and my daughters all went in for different piercings (double nose, conch and eyebrow). He did each one perfectly and put us at ease during the process. Cannot recommend highly enough!

I write this review over 7 months after getting my conch piercing by Derek. First impressions were ok despite the air of “superiority “ he gave off. I went with a friend and she went first and while he re-pierced her helix (for 120$-so overpriced to re punch a hole that was previously there) his pompous attitude began to shine even more. He did little things that just didn’t jive with me but a simple example is he told a bogus story about how he makes sure to tip his hairdressers if they do a good job and ONLY if they do a good job , which sets the tone of him expecting a fat tip. Despite the numerous alarms going off that I shouldn’t trust or allow this man to pierce me I went through with it anyway. I regret not listening to my gut and hence me writing this review as a warning to others to reconsider going here. My conch piercing had healing issues and I never slept on that side and cleaned my ear twice a day with saline and never fiddled with it either. Now that it’s time I can change the jewelry I have to special order the hoop size because he pierced it so far inside my ear that the average 10mm-12mm hoop size for a conch does not fit . So if you want to be treated ugly and have a messed up piercing this is the place for you.

Derek pierced my nose this afternoon and I was very pleased with how he throughly Took the time to explain in detail exactly what I needed to do to have my nose heal properly. He was more than happy to answer every single question that my boyfriend and I had and told me where to go to get the proper skincare products that I needed. I was very relaxed and comfortable throughout the whole procedure and surprisingly I didn’t even feel him pierce my nose.I would highly recommend the Buddha box for anyone who wants their nose pierced.

In November of 2022 I got a helix piercing and a double lobe done by one of the staff members that is currently not there anymore. It was my first time going to buddha box and they were amazing, my piercing also healed in 3 months.February 2024 I made an appointment to get a helix on my other ear and my friend was getting the same. Derek was super nice and helpful along with the other staff, even though they gave me the wrong jewelry but they fixed that, so i decided to make another appointment in march while i was there to schedule a lobe piercing. i went the day we scheduled for but Derek and another staff member said i never made an appointment, and kept telling me i was wrong so they wouldnt pierce my double lobe when i had been looking forward to it. i know i made an appointment because my friend had an appointment that same day and time to downsize her helix and i distinctly remember deciding the date and time with Derek but i guess he never wrote it down. my friend and our parents also had it in their calendars for me to get the piercing.Now (July 2024) my 2nd Helix piercing will not heal, its infected, i clean it twice a day which healed my first piercing quickly. l i had no problem with my 1st one. my friend also got hers in the room next to mine so Derek was able to slide between both rooms, im assuming he mustve switched the sterile equipment and used the wrong one in my ear. I will never go to buddha box againI only put one star because my first piercing went great but the staff member that pierced it is no longer there

I came in as a walk-in wanting my daith pierced. I have been told my other piercers it couldn’t be done but Derek was able to get the placement down and able to get it pierced! He was so great, professional and also calm and just great vibes. So happy I went with Derek and will be back for future piercings. 🤩

Absolutely love coming here. Vinny has done 17 out of my 19 tattoos and Derek has done a few of my piercings.The environment is friendly and inviting. Wont go anywhere else to get work done.

This place rules. #1 tattoo/piercing shop in San Antonio, hands down. My partner and I have had multiple things done here and it’s been a great experience each time. And the folks that work here are all wonderful.

Wife got 3 piercings. Conch, nose and helix all in one go. We were there less than an hour. All were done amazingly! Derek was very skilled and very quick. My wife said she felt almost no pain. Both Derek and the woman at the front were super friendly, gave great recommendations, and answered all our questions. Recommend this place 100%!

Derrick is a wonderful piercer and did an awesome job keeping our 7 year old birthday girl calm and reassuring her when she got nervous. Would definitely recommend and if my other kids want their ears pierced well definitely be back.

I went there to get some nose piercings and loved the experience but on top of that they helped me even when they didn’t need too! My go to tattoo artist moved so I had to find a new guy and the artist I went to (not from this establishment) didn’t really give me any aftercare instructions or even wrap the tattoo. Now this was my first big tattoo piece so I was kinda freaking out I called up Buddha box and the lady on the phone was super sweet and super helpful!! She gave me some amazing tips and some good aftercare steps for my tattoo and even directed me to their website which has some more info on aftercare. She could have easily just dismissed me since it wasn’t their problem since I didn’t get the tattoo there. Such an amazing staff, very clean environment, and the people there know their stuff and have amazing jewelry!! I will definitely go back for my next piercing and for future tattoos!

Got my conch done last night! Derek is amazing, made me feel very comfortable. Their jewelry is very nice and i like how they let you pick what you want instead of giving you the stranded silver ball. Staff was very friendly and a great atmosphere! Defiantly recommend going here for any piercing.

After struggling with botched nipple piercings for 3 years, I was finally fed up with the irritation and being uncomfortable 24/7. i previously got them done at a different shop. i finally worked up the courage to get them removed and im so glad that I did! Xene was so patient, attentive, and very understanding of my situation. i was nervous and light headed throughout the removal of my piercings but Xene was very gentle and talked me through it. wish i had expressed to her more how grateful i am! she also explained the aftercare thoroughly. the place was clean, the vibe was great, and the staff were so helpful. i will be coming back to get more piercings!! i enjoyed my experience and feel so much better!

Yall werent kidding when you said Derek was the best! Super nice and friendly. My first two ear piercings were done at Platinum across the street, but Ill never go there again. (Im ashamed that I ever did go there.) Buddha Box staff is just so much better in every way. My friend and I were able to walk in and get helix piercings done by Derek on a Thursday evening. Ive had a very pleasant experience for every visit. Derek my body modification artist is very knowledgeable and respectful. He knows his anatomy very well making him very trustworthy for the piercings I wanted. Ive had my septum, tongue and smiley done. Im looking forward to visiting soon for a new piercing. I came here so very very long ago to have my septum done and it was the most peaceful and painless experience Ive ever had in a shop. Fast-forward almost a decade later and Ive finally lost my original ball and came in for a replacement. Not only was I in and out in under 5 minutes, but all services rendered were on the house and got to shake hands with the owner (wonderful person). She genuinely thanked me for coming back and asked for nothing in return. Xene was the artist that took care of me and she was just as kind and gentle as the first time I came in. Ill never go anywhere else.

So my daughter convinced me to get a dermal that Ive always wanted. She did the homework in searching for a place. Boy did she do a great job! The place is super clean. I got my nose pierced (nostril) just today and I couldnt wait to leave an awesome review. Everyone I spoke to on the phone regarding my appointment was so nice and helpful. I had a nose job last year and let him know about it, and he knew exactly how to proceed and explained the reasons for everything, including the size and type of jewelry hed be using. It was practically painless, barely a pinch, he was so quick yet gentle. He was super conscious of making sure everything was super clean and sterile. I got a double nostril piercing with Derek and I highly recommend him as a piercer! The shop was super nice and clean, big selection of jewelry. Derek took his time explaining the process and after care, made sure I liked the placement of the piercings before he did them. I went here in 2017 with as great a experience as everyone else. This year it was very cliquey, I said hello and was literally looked past (just completely ignored maybe as i was a walk in) while the others who walked in well after me were immediately greeted. Also Derek referred to my daughter as they/them when I clearly said daughter/she/her throughout our conversation. I appreciate the idea of not assuming one’s gender but it became uncomfortable that he kept calling her they/them.On top of that he was snippy when I asked him a question saying that he thought i heard him.I still stayed but I’d never go back or recommend.

Best shop in town. Derek was fantastic and did a great job calming my nerves, even agreed to do both nipple piercings at the same time with Xene.A few weeks later my left piercing closed on one side and Jess helped me remove it. It was a dramatic ordeal ( it was me, I’m the drama 😂) but she was professional and empathetic. Even switched my right piercing out to a bigger gauge so it’ll heal better.100/10 would recommend.

Sweetest people ever. I had to have some jewelry removed for surgery that had been in a long time. Erin and Derek were so patient and phenomenal. Erin was doing a great job working an old piercing out and Derek stepped in with a tip to help. He was very kind and she was very receptive. They were a great team, genuine and caring. Came here back in January for a septum piercing then a few months ago for help putting back on a ball that fell off. Both times were really pleasant and those who helped me did an excellent job. Derek is an outstanding piercer & did a fantastic job informing me of proper aftercare, making sure I was as calm as possible, and made the actual process almost painless! He is sincerely interested in, and actively listens to, each and every client from initial contact, through consultation, procedure and after care....For parents, he is particularly wonderful with his younger clients too! Ive been to Buddha Box for multiple piercings over the last few years...my initial one was my first foray into a piercing beyond my standard lobe piercings from when I was little... I chose to have a cartilage piercing to mark a very significant event in my life and Derek was just incredible from the moment I first met him and I have really enjoyed all of my time with him and the wider team... And, of course, absolutely love my new piercings! The studio is super clean and hygienic, and exudes a positive, inspiring and welcoming vibe from the moment you step inside. Ive even brought a friend along and she loved her whole experience (and adored Derek!) too! I can not recommend them highly enough!

Super clean, everyone was friendly and was able to answer any questions I had! I got a tongue piercing and it felt like nothing at all, I also appreciate that they clean the tools while you are there. It was 50$ for my piercing, and I was able to come in around 3 weeks later and get a shorter bar no problems.

The best piercing shop in town! I came for a daith piercing but after a consultation with Derek he throughly looked at my ear anatomy found a compromise that I ended up loving ! my ear structure wouldnt hold a daith properly and he was concerned about it healing. He took the time to show me other options I could get. A++ shop everyone is super cool & friendly. They don’t do piercings to do them they make sure each piercing is going to be safe for each client. Totally recommend come here not anywhere else. Waiting for my conch to heal so I can go back for my tragus. Ask for Derek he’s so good !

I made an appointment for a few piercings and was set up with Derek. I was a bit over-ambitious in my piercing plans and Derek talked me through his recommendations on scaling back for health and safety reasons. I really appreciated his professionalism and consideration over making an additional dollar. Derek was super friendly and personable and helped calm some of my nerves. I ended up getting a septum and 2 side by side nostril piercings. It was quick and fairly painless. Derek will definitely be getting my future business.The room was very clean and the shop seems to take covid precautions very seriously, which I greatly appreciated (I’ve seen Facebook lives from other shops that seem to have a revolving door of clients with little to no clean time in between).I can’t wait to return to switch out jewelry and get more piercings! (And also, hopefully, some tattoos from other artists in the shop).

Derek is fantastic! He did my nostril and my septum piercing same day. We got our daughters ears pierced. Derek was wonderful. He found that her very old piercings were still good so he treated them and made them viable again. He was very professional and gentle with our daughter. The earrings are beautiful. We will definitely be returning.

I trusted Derek to pierce my septum a second time after it was pierced incorrectly by another piercing shop. I can’t rave about this place enough. Seriously love everyone and everything about this shop. I got my nose pierced last year and have had to go back a few times either for questions or to switch out the piercing for other jewelry or the medical silicone (?) piece for a few MRIs I’ve had. It took some time before we got in the room but it was because they are keeping it as clean and Covid Safe as possible! Derek is the best. He knows well what he is doing and won’t just pierce you for the heck of it to get the cash. I wanted my triples, but due to past piercings he said he’s wouldn’t suggest that or he would have to use a bigger needle. He asked me my habits and if I want to wear headphones a lot. Derek is a masterful piercer. He did my first ear piercing and was very warm and welcoming from start to finish of the procedure. His etiquette and proper ear care made any doubts I had dissipate early in the piercing process (not to mention his slow breathing instructions made the pain mostly negligible). If any piercer is half as good as Derek the client could expect a superb experience.

Derek was amazing & compassionate, plus felt very comfortable with no judgment at all! Sadly he was able to assist me with an embedded nipple piercing that I have but as a professional, he advised me on what to do. Got a nose piercing with him & recommended him!

Ive gotten a septum piercing from Derek and a tattoo from Vinny. Im beyond impressed by the quality and professionalism at Buddha Box.Derek is a perfectionist and extremely knowledgeable about piercing and wound healing. My septum is all messed up from injuries, but he managed to get my piercing perfectly straight and for half the price of anywhere else. Plus he is quite possibly one of the nicest and friendliest people Ive ever met.I got a very simple black ink tattoo from Vinny and it turned out better than I could have expected. The quality is something I would expect for something more intensive than what I got. The lines are perfect, there were no mistakes and he packed it with a lot of ink. I might never need a touch up haha.I recommend Buddha Box to everyone I know, because they are genuinely the best piercing shop around with the added bonus of employing excellent tattoo artists.

I was recommended to bring my son here for a piercing. I wish I could say anything good but I will admit it is a clean facility. There was a condescending female at the register that made the experience agitating. The wait was ridiculous for a simple nose piercing. Two people went infront of us although we set up the appointment and made it at a timely manner. Driving across town was definitely not worth it.

Brandon was awesome. He was quick and capable as he helped my daughter with her lobe piercings. Derek was really helpful and welcoming when we got to the shop too. Overall, awesome experience and I will definitely be back!

I dont even know where to begin. My sister and I came in to pierce our second lobes together and Brandon was such a wonderful piercer. He was so nice and calming even though I talked his ear off the entire time to try and compensate for my nerves lol Both of our piercings turned out beautiful with virtually no pain. I also had the pleasure of meeting Derek and chatting with him as well and I loved how down to earth and fun both him and Brandon were. Derek was awesome and redid an old nose piercing that was in an awful spot. He did such a great job, will only see him for piercings from here on out! Highly recommend & don’t hesitate because of current situations- they are extremely sanitary and make the experience more than comfortable.

Unbelievable (in the best sense)! Brought my 6 year old to get her ears pierced and Derek was so patient and kind with her, explaining every step of the process both during a consultation and the actual piercing appointment- he even let her bring her favorite stuffed animal for comfort. Hands down THE BEST shop in San Antonio for piercings. Derek is not just a phenomenal piercer, but has the utmost respect for his craft and those he works on. Worth the money and then some for not just doing the piercing right the first time every time, but ensuring the healing process is smooth. Derek is absolutely amazing! He explained everything and made sure I understood before we proceeded to the actual piercings. I was a bit nervous, but he helped to clam my nerves with focused breathing during the piercing. I love my new Daith ring! The pricing is very reasonable, with only a $5 upcharge to anodize with color, and so many colors to choose from! I was very pleased with the cleanliness of the establishment and the attention to sterilization.

I read reviews online and the reviews were legit. I walked up to the door, A guy was standing there asked if I needed help. I told him what I was looking for he asked, if I wanted a specific artist to help, I didn’t, even though I had read that Derek was good. Well it happened to be him, he got me an appointment, (appointment needed) I was seen with 30 mins and I am very happy with my nose piercing. Place was clean inside and Derek was very informative and funny with his jokes!

I had my cartilage pierced for the very first time ever and Derek was awesome. He was very friendly and professional, he made me feel very comfortable that he knew what he was doing. All in all the experience was great, the shop was clean, and I will definitely be going back for the jewelry if not for another piercing.

My piercings were very professionally done, in a quick and comfortable manner. Derek made me very relaxed and talked me through the process, as well as the after care process. I was very surprised at how minimal the pain was even through to the next day. I would highly recommend getting any piercing done here regardless of the sensitivity of the area or your own pain tolerance.

Went in by appointment on a Saturday afternoon and they got me started right when i walked in. The woman at the front desk (I dont know her name) was very nice and informative. I got my nostril pierced and Derek was my piercer. He was absolutely amazing and informative! I was pretty scared it would hurt but he made it very quick and painless. I’ve been to this place in the past and still walking in for my piercing it was so clean and the people that worked here were so friendly. Xene did my nose piercing and she was literally the BEST. Calmed my anxiety and I didn’t even feel the actually piercing itself when she did it. No blood, no pain, no swelling. Even woke up today not feeling sore from my nose. Xene is amazing and so easy to talk to!

My wife had a mishap with her nose piercing that was done at a different shop near Dallas. Derek spent nearly an hour fixing the problem and educating us. At the end, he refused to charge us anything at all, despite him and his shop having not done the original piercing. He is a great guy who is truly knowledgeable and loves both his customers and his craft. Couldnt recommend it more.

I loved this place so much! I am not a person that has a lot of piercings. Only have my ears pierced in college. However, I wanted to have my nose pierced since a few months ago and I decided to make an appointment after reading the reviews. First, the girl who make my appointment was so kind and help me to get my appointment having information beforehand. When I arrived i called the number (they are not accepting walk ins because of COVID) so once you arrive, you call and they open the door and welcome you in. Again, never been in a tattoo/piercing studio before but this place was so clean, it didn’t smell bad (smoke/marijuana/alcohol). IT WAS MORE CLEAN THAN ANY HOSPITAL. I cant tell you how good and satisfying feels been in a place like that. It was noticeable that the bed was clean and disinfected. You can tell, they’re very strict with COVID protocols. Derek did my piercing, i loved that he was very straightforward explaining healing and aftercare. He is super friendly and he’s open to answer every question you have, without making you feel dumb. I cant say enough good things of him. Today is my second day with the piercing and it’s going well, i do have a little bit of pain 2 of scale of 10 so I guess is natural discomfort/swelling of the area.I would recommend this place to everyone interested in getting pierced ❤️

I was greeted upon arrival, which is already a 100 in my book. I havent gotten a piercing in over 5 years and felt pretty nervous, but Derek was awesome. He was so nice and easy to be around, so I can see why he had such great reviews. I will definitely be coming back & bringing friends.

I got my daiths pierced by Derek to help out with my migraines. (This has worked by the way.) Derek was an awesome piercer and walked me through every step and also answered all of my questions. The piercings were quick and pretty painless due to his expert precision. He then fully educated me on all of the after care needs for proper healing. Absolutely fantastic. I wish I had gone here for all of my piercings!

Derek pierced my helix. He was very nice and funny. He really took some of the nervousness off of me getting the piercing. He was very patient and even gave me breathing exercises to make the piercing less painful. It was quick and it looked great! He gave detailed instructions on how to clean it. My 9-year-old daughter wanted to get her ears pierced, so we made an appointment to see Derek. Upon arrival, we waited in the car while the piercing room was set up (they told us about that when we made our appt) and Derek came out to greet us just a couple minutes later. Derek was super friendly, relaxed, and VERY good communicating with my daughter. He was happy to chat and encouraged me to take pictures for mom since she couldnt be there (they only allow one adult with a minor due to Covid - also explained during the appt process). He always told my daughter what he was doing and kept checking in to make sure she was alright. When all was said and done, my daughter and I were very happy with our experience.Edited to add: I want to mention also that Derek was not hasty. He took the time needed to measure and mark the piercing sites, including anticipating where the piercings would be once she grows up and he ears drop a little. He made sure it was even, then asked me, followed by my daughter, to make sure we were all happy.

I was also very impressed that she took the time to measure out the marks for the holes and places them according to what style of jewelry I plan to wear. I’ve had many ear and facial piercings and they definitely had the nicest staff and best atmosphere of any parlor I’ve been in. I got two piercings here and they went really smoothly. I’ve never had an issue with my piercings healing but both of these just never healed:// after 6 or 7 months of swelling and bleeding I just had to take them out, so that was $120 down the drain:/ My only reasoning for this is maybe the metal their jewelry is made out of? Over all a good experience:)

Probably the cleanest, most professional shop I have been in over the course of all the tattoos and piercings my wife and I have collectively gotten. Glad to see tattoo talent like Jerry has found its way there.Specifically my wife went for a double forward helix. Derek was the consummate professional. At every shop before it was point, stab, bleed, pay leave. Derek took the time to talk and draw the spots out, making sure the positioning would be best set for healing and looks. This man is the first person who has made me see piercing as an art and a professional skill, not just putting holes in people. I found myself commenting multiple times about how amazed I was and even had to give him a hug after for making my wife feel so comfortable.Overall, considering my wife has over 10 piercings, two half sleeves, and my calves are completely covered, this is probably the smoothest most comfortable experience I have ever had in a shop. Definitely will be referring people and giving return business.

Went to get my septum pierced with Xene. They explained the process and gave steps as they went along so there were no surprises. Super painless and quick. I absolutely love how my septum piercing looks. Also got some much needed upgraded jewelry for my Tragus.

Decided to go here to get my nose pierced because of all the great reviews I read...they were all true. It doesnt matter how fancy or what side of town a place is on for it to be good. They were so nice and made sure I was completely comfortable before anything was done. My uncle was with me and they were really nice to him as well. Personally, Derek came off a little passive aggressive. I came in with an issue with my lobe piercing which were done elsewhere. He didnt seem that willing to help once I got to the location. Instead he just made it seem like I was over reacting and sent me on my way as fast as he could. I wouldnt recommend this place.I called another Tattoo shop down the way that is located inside of Ingram park mall. The lady was amazing she switch my earrings to a long post so that my ears had room to swell. My ears started to feel and look better just a few hours later.

Never in my life have I had a piercer like Derek. I came in very nervous about having this personal piercing done. Derek, my boyfriend(moral support) and I talked privately for about 45 minutes about the piercing. He went into detail about how the piercing is done, cleaning and even told us a couple funny stories, he made a great effort to make me as comfortable as he could. Not once did he try to hurry me into getting ready for the piercing, he let me take my time to get comfortable and situated.When it came time for the piercing he gave me a few minutes to slow my breathing(I honestly almost set myself into a panic attack). Then in one quick and very surprisingly painful pinch, it was done. Im very happy with my new addition and couldnt have wished for a better artist to do it.If youre looking for a piercer with patience, understanding and no judgment, I dont believe there is another that is more so than Derek.

So I just left this shop and it was BY FAR THE BEST tattoo shop Ive been to in SA, and Ive been to quite a few. As soon as I walked in the staff was very welcoming, which has not happened at any other shop Ive been to. None of them looked like they dreaded there job or even being there. When I asked about the piercing I wanted they told me everything I needed to know about keeping it clean, what could infect it and how to avoid that. They told me all the cleaning procedures before I even got my nostril done then reminded me again before I left. They were all so professional and chill I loved the environment there. They even looked at an older tattoo that needed to be fixed and finished and told me what they could do to help fix it and agreed on finishing it for me. This is honestly by favorite shop in San Antonio and I recommend them to anyone and everyone.

I had my septum pierced yesterday by Brandon and it went so smoothly! Even though Ive had a few other piercings this was the best experience Ive had getting a piercing so far. He talked me through the whole process and aftercare, answering any questions I had. I was a pretty nervous about this piercing and he did an amazing job calming me down and waited until I was ready, I had no feelings of being rushed at all. The piercing was swift and nearly painless and still doesn’t really hurt, its only occasionally sore. Ill definitely be going back there to get any other future piercings. The studio has such a chill atmosphere, and it looks badass.

When I came in Derek looked at my ears and said getting another piercing on my right ear lobe might be tricky and irritate my ear because it would be my third piercing and was very close to my cartilage. He helped me make the decision not to pierce there. After putting the marks for where to pierce he made sure they were even and that I liked the position. Derek seemed very well educated as we talked about how some metals can irritate and cause an allergic reaction. The piercings didnt hurt as much as I thought. It was a little expensive, but it was worth it. Derek was very professional and before we left he went over the aftercare, very clear intructions. Definitely coming here in the future to get more piercings!

Derek is the best. I send everyone to him. I got my eyebrow pierced today, and it looks so perfect its like Ive always had it. Excellent Covid-19 practices; everything is super clean and no one was wearing a mask incorrectly. I love this place so much!

Awesome place to get a piercing! They are following great measures to be safe with COVID19, as well the employees are very knowledgeable about what they’re doing, and will give lots of info on keeping your piercing clean! My piercing healed like a dream and I will definitely be back.

Best shop Ive walked into for a long time. I got my first piercing here and its a cartilage one too, done by Derrick. Hes probably one of the most approachable, kind, knowledgeable people Ive ever met. Havent gotten ink yet from them but I definitely intend to when its time. New to town and came here for a nostril piercing because of the reviews. When coming I was told it’s typically appointment based and then first come, first serve. That had me a little apprehensive, but the young lady at the desk and Derrick who pierced me were both very friendly and able to work me in, which made it worth while. Quick and painless experience. Brandon was excellent. He has such a gentle demeanor and made me feel very comfortable. Ive had my septum pierced before. He was very particular about the placement and I didnt feel it at all when he pierced it. So pleased with the entire experience!

Also he was very patient with my daughter cause she was nervous and he had us sign all they proper paperwork cause she is a minor .this place feels like a doctor office .

I got a second piercing on my both of my earlobes here with erin as my piercer. it was a really good experience! i didnt have an appointment, and it might’ve been because of how late i went but i didn’t have to wait very long. i was given specific information for aftercare and a little paper-thing explaining it again. the place was very clean inside and the equipment used was also clean and sterile. erin payed a lot of attention to my questions and the placement of my piercings, and she made the experience much more comfortable for me. i would definitely come here again!

Love this shop, I have been pierced by Richard and Derek and they both do a great job explaining everything as well as answering all of my questions. They have good quality jewelry and are quick about getting you in! If youre looking to get pierced this is a great shop to go to.

I went for a Daith piercing for my migraine today and they were extreamly nice from start to finish. Derek was above informative about my piercing and explained in great detail what each jewelry was made of and even how they sterilize it before installation. He told me every step he was doing before he did it so I knew what to expect. Still hurt of course but I was so pleased with this experience. He assured me I could call anytime for any questions and there was no stupid questions I could ask. As I left he even said, Thanks for trusting me. Which to me meant he really did care about his customers. I would recommend Anyone come here for their first or 100th piercing. Thanks a lot guys!

Went in to get 1 microdermal removed and 2 more added. Derek was my piercer and he did a beautiful Job!!! He was attentive, professional, and very polite. He was open to my ideas and very knowledgable when recommending locations for the placement of my dermal and the size of my jewelry, resulting in an even more better outcome than when I went to a different shop the first time. Got my ears pierced here and they were super chill. I think the only reason it took so long was because we kept talking at every step of the process not only to describe what he was doing but because Derrick was just fun to talk to. I was there for about 45 mins in total and the actual piecing took about 10-15 mins. He let me relax between each piercing. It didnt hurt much but I had to physch myself up for it.

Went in a while back (almost 2 years ago) to get my labret re-done after my previous piercer at a mall did mine crooked, went with Derek who pierced with a 12g which was super awesome. Ive since stretched it to 2g and its my favorite mod ever. Cleanest shop in san antonio with awesome stuff, really outta bounds. My recommendation for my out of town friends visiting 🤗

I had my tongue pierced when I was about 18 or 19 well fast forward a few years and a lot of ink later, now at the age of 42, I went here by a referral to see Derrick and got my septum pierced by him (🤪😛😍 LOVE THIS GUY 😍😛🤪). Great place for piercings! Paid $40 because I chose gold colored jewelry. I believe the starting price is at 35$.Erin is way cool! She just did my nose piercing. Felt very little pain. She is very informative and super kind!
