I think I found my go-to artist! Ron was beyond incredible! I came in to get his Friday the 13th flash and it’s clear that he’s super passionate about his work. He was kind and he’s super talented. I am more than pleased with his work. I will most certainly be back!!! (๑･̑◡･̑๑)

Firme Copias Tattoo Studio provided a great experience from start to finish. Aida greeted me politely with a warm smile and quickly asked if I was a walk-in. I was impressed by how promptly they inquired about my tattoo idea. Leonardo, aka Spinertop, my tattoo artist, made me feel very comfortable by answering all my questions about his tattooing experience, the equipment, the shop, the materials, and most importantly, his safety and aseptic techniques. Spinertop quickly understood my vision and designed a beautiful tattoo that perfectly represents the importance of blood donation. The only minor setback was that I didn’t get to see the design until my appointment, and I had expected to see it a few days earlier. However, I was extremely pleased with the final design and my overall experience at this shop. The parking is a bit awkward and small, but its free.

Lil Ron did a fantastic job on mine and my nephews matching tattoo. It was definitely a comfortable and calm environment. Hardly any stress or confusion. Communication was spot on! It took 9yrs to find a right artist that understands texture, line work, and placement so happy he delivered without hesitation. Definitely going back!!

I absolutely love the tattoos I’ve had done at Firme Copias. Their artists are so talented and have a certain artistic flair that is shown in their work. I’ve had work done by Jay Ortiz and Jason Pena, both artists listened to me and made suggestions that made my pieces even better than I expected to be possible. If you’re looking to get some work done give them a call, and if you’re lucky you will speak to Aida, you WILL NOT be disappointed.

I came to get 2 ear piercings (a helix and a flat) for Friday the 13th and Mae was my piercer. Even tho it was packed inside the shop, I didn’t wait long at all. Mae was so incredibly sweet and informative. She was easy to talk to, patient, and asked questions to make sure my experience was as comfortable as possible. I ended up feeling faint after my initial piercing and she immediately guided the person I was with on what to do. Mae made sure I was okay and helped me come back to normal. I was totally embarrassed as I had never fainted from a piercing before but she made me feel comfortable and reassured that it is common. I cannot recommend Mae enough! I will be back to get any future piercings here because of Mae.

I got my first tattoos from them all the way back in 2014 n Ive been getting just about every new tattoo from them ever since. Everyone is friendly n welcoming n I recommend them to everyone

Mae was absolutely amazing!!! She made me and my friend feel so comfortable. I got my second lobes and conch done, no complaints at all. I shared with her my past experiences with getting my ears pierced and she helped me find the correct aftercare and I now feel so much more comfortable with my piercings! Will definitely be back!!

What a wonderful shop. Aida was exceptionally kind when we had to rebook four times. This is a very family oriented establishment with mom dad son and daughter in law working ❤️ together. The artist was patient with me and put a bit of himself into my tattoo. Very creative. Everyone there was so nice to my granddaughter and me. They made us feel like family. I plan to go there next year (from North Carolina) to Texas to get some more work done. Although 550 seems like a high price for some, the amount of time, incredible work, and overall experience, I feel it was a bargain. I would DEFINATELY recommend seeking out this shop if you are looking for a fantastic experience. Once my tattoo heals I will post the incredible artwork.

I had my nose pierced here and the piercer, Mae, was fantastic!! She was gentle and quick! This tattoo studio is extra extra clean and sanitary. My family got matching tattoos as well, and I watched them clean, and it was impeccable! We were on vacation from out of town and five of us were able to walk in and get tattoos with a short wait. HIGHLY recommend this shop if youre in San Antonio and looking to get a tattoo.

Just went to this place with 6 other people, 4 of us wanting small-ish tattoos. The lady, Mae, who greeted us was super kind and patient with us while we tried to decide on what designs we wanted. However, the tattoo artists seemed to only care about the fight on the TV, as they stayed in the back and didnt speak to us. It was not a welcoming environment, and there were some tears that were shed due to unkindness from the artists. We went here because we saw the great reviews, and unfortunately we did not have a good experience whatsoever.

Terrible tattoo place! My daughter went in on Friday the 13 to get a tattoo. They put her on the waiting list and said they would call her and took her number. Because of the crowd she went a waited in her car. After a while she went back in and they refused to do the tattoo and said she wasn’t on the premises so they wouldn’t be doing a tattoo for her. They might do great tattoos but they have terrible customer service!

Loved the enviornment, such sweet and welcoming people! I got tatted by an artist named ronekillsjr and for my first tattoo he made it feel so quick and painless and i loved the outcome of my tattoo !

My mom took my sister and I to get pierced, and the piercer, Mae, was so sweet. She explained everything very throughly and answered any questions/concerns we had. She definitely knew her stuff. She was patient with my sister when she was unsure and gave her alternative options if she wanted them. My sister and I both left very satisfied with our piercings, so i’ll definitely recommend and be back! :)

Very pleased with the service I received today. From Pearl who answered the phone to the artist lil Ron. Lil Ron was very patient even when he had to keep resizing my sketch. I came in for a tattoo for my best friend who just passed away on Monday. Lil Ron was great we were talking about my bff and laughing while he worked. I shared my memories of my bestie and he actually talked to me and was actually listening. He is young but so talented. If you are looking for some work this young man has a promising future ahead of him. Will definitely be back! Thank you again Lil Ron!!!

First time coming here and WOW!! The moment we walked in, they treated us with such great hospitality. My artist was Rone and his hand wasnt heavy at all. He played 90s r&b and thats my favorite! Love my tattoo. The Manager (Ida) was so funny and cool. The vibes were great. If you dont know what you want take a look at the art work on the walls! They did let us know there were artists out due to Covid, which I totally get and I greatly appreciate them being home recovering than having them tattooing. I will definitely be coming back. Its cash only but they have an ATM.

We were on our honeymoon and had Lil Ron and Max! They were amazing! We got TX and a personal. They both helped us make the tattoos our own. My family and I recently went and got my helix and conch piercing by Mae and she was amazing!She was very sweet and helped us with any questions we had as well as helped us decided what piercing would look best for our ear shapes.I had a terrible experience at twisted tattoo’s with the piercing people and just all around were not friendly at all.Mae at Firme Copias was wonderful 10/10 will go back for my next!

Love coming back on vacation to this shop, from the artist to the owners and they are always respectful I have my most recent tattoos from them and they are the only people I let ink my skin.

This place is my favorite place to go to for tattoos. From the professionalism to the art, to the price all the way down to the artist. The finishing product of each tattoo is the exact same reason why i always come back. I have never came for a tattoo and left disappointed. 10/10 experience every single session.

I had an excellent experience at Firme Copias on 1132 Rayburn. The artists are all great but they take their tattooing seriously. Aida was my point of contact and she responded immediately. Ron did my knuckle tattoo. Amazing work. That same day I ended up doing a walk-in for my arm. Lefty was tremendous. This is my new “go to” shop.

Mae is absolutely amazing 🤩. I came here tonight to get my 13-year-old daughter’s nose pierced, and we came out with a double piercings! After getting the right side pierced i decided I wanted the left instead and she didn’t hesitate to do the other side. Thank you so much! I love 🫶 it!

I was fortunate enough to get my first tattoo from Larry. Everybody here was kind, professional and easy to talk to. I could not have asked for a better artist or a better group. The area was clean and spotless too!! 11/10 experience!

Extremely amazing experience!I have never gotten a tattoo before and was undecided on what to get. I came with an idea. Rone expanded my idea, drew it up. 2 full day sessions later the outcome was 100 times better then what I went in with. Process was lengthy but I enjoyed every min inside the shop. Family-type environment, very professional, and do great work! I have recommended this location and would continue to recommend people go here whether it is your first tattoo or a millionth.

Got this portrait of my dog from lefty. He is beyond talented and professional. The tattoo literally looks just like my puppy. So impressive. Parking is tricky but get in where you fit in. Its some solid tattoo artists in the shop and the quality is hands down worth the price. Chico did my arm and the line work is crazy! Love this tattoo and going back to him for the rest of my sleeve and cover up.

My wife and I had been looking for a place to get out tattoos. But we were not able to find one. Then we stumbled upon Firme Copias. We walked-in and we’re immediately greeted. I worked with @ronekills to insure that the tattoos I wanted were exactly what I envisioned. I love them. I’m definitely saving money and going back. Customer service was amazing also. The entire experience was awesome. She was so kind, and listened to our needs. She attended toUs as if we were VIPs. I highly recommend this business and we will go back again.

3 months ago, my daughter and I came in to get matching Sun and Moon tatoos. Ron Jr. hooked us up with a great drawing based on our idea. We got a sun and moon outline. For it being my first tatoo, it was a little painful, but Ron Jr. Was friendly and talkative and made me feel comfortable. So, of course, when we decided to color in our tatoo, we came back to Ron, and we had the best experience. Our sun and moon tattoo is beautiful and we are very happy with the outcome! Ron Jr. is young, but he is beyond talented. We will be back!!

Lil Ron knocked it out the park! My husband and I went in for our first tattoos celebrating our 20th Anniversary. My husband has drew out for years tattoo ideas with our initials G&K. Lil Ron drew out more ideas for us, never thought wed get the same exact design just simular, but we fell in love with one of his designs. Definitely will be back to get more work done. Probably the most chill tattoo shop I’ve ever been to. Aida was great, she made scheduling super easy and made sure everyone had water, snacks, whatever else they needed. My tattoo artist Larry was amazing. I pitched him a few ideas for finishing off my sleeve and he ran with them, added in some of his own artistic touches, and knocked it out of the park. I’ll definitely be coming back for my next tattoo.

Went in around 12AM for my consultation and decided on getting a tattoo. Mae was at the front desk and she was super helpful and informative about the process. Super transparent about the pricing. Lil Ron was my artist, and he was extremely nice and personable. His hand was steady but quick and I was out in about an hour! Recommend this place and super happy with the tat.

Best tattoo shop I’ve ever been to. I’ve gotten 7 tats from 7 different shops prior and nothing compares to the work I got done here. Everyone was super nice and welcoming. Got a piece done by Gabriel and loved it so much I got 5 more added. He was able to accommodate my pickiness and schedule to get me in quickly. Initial response was in less than 24 hours too! Super impressive place and I highly recommend this shop!!

Larry was the best! Super lighthanded and patient. More than fair prices, he paid attention to detail and even had great suggestions on what should be done but never targeted to change my mind from what I wanted. Was able to get done within 1 session. Was super communicative throughout the designing process and listened to everything I wanted, and adjusted the design accordingly. Was on time and straight to business with great conversation and continued to tell me to look over the work while it was being done to make sure everything was looking to my liking. Definitely making this my permanent shop for work. The atmosphere of the shop was good too, and the other artist were nice and communicative as well with a lot of good laughs. Highly suggest!

My brother went there yesterday to get a couple of tattoos done and I gotta say I’m so impressed with them. The line work was so good!!! I believe it was done by a guy they call EKS? I think a bit more of color was needed on one of the tattoos(the duck). I’ve been thinking of getting my kids names on me and now I know where I’ll be getting them at!!!

I got some fractal patterns on my forearm from Larry. He did it on short notice and poured a lot of time and energy into it. I love the result and couldnt have asked for a better tattoo.

I got this tattoo for my birthday by Jacob Guajardo and it turned out amazing. Everyone was friendly and made me, and my friend, feel very welcome. Nice music was playing, and even television to watch during the process. Due to this tattoo, and the amazing experience, this is one of the best birthdays Ive had.

I strongly recommend this shop to anyone in San Antonio looking for a tattoo. I walked in and got a whole custom shoulder piece done by Daniel and it turned out phenomenal. Ive went back several times to actually complete my sleeve and each and every time it was a great experience. The whole staff is friendly and they all do amazing work, plus youll get a good laugh 100% of the time. Everywhere I go random people will stop and ask where I went and who my artist was. So once again if youre looking for a tattoo that is going to turn heads this is definitely the place to go. Ill be back for sure in the near future!

We were very impressed with Firme Copias from the initial phonecall with Aida to the finished tattoo. Aida welcomed us into the shop and was super friendly. We enjoyed chatting with her, Rone, and Darren while the very talented Lefty worked on my father in laws amazing Alamo tattoo. Lefty already had a design drawn up when we came in, and took his time as he sat with us to tweak some details and pick out fonts. You can tell he takes pride in his work because of all the incredible little details he included in the brickwork and columns on the front of the Alamo. We were all blown away by his artwork and couldnt be happier with how it turned out! My father in law is excited to show it off when he returns to London. Besides the amazing artist and friendly people in the shop, this place is immaculately clean, and they use disposable equipment. Thank you so much for making my father in laws first tattoo experience a great one!

I got my piercings done by Mae and she did a great job! She made me feel very comfortable, explained everything that she was doing, and overall made it a great experience for me. I would definitely come back to her for more piercings in the future!

Definitely recommend!! I got my vertical labret pierced by Mae. She was very sweet & professional. She took measures to make sure I was comfortable and got me in and out quickly. The environment here is super friendly and accommodating so if youre thinking about coming by… DO IT.

Got a helix piercing here and it was an amazing experience. Initially I wanted an industrial piercing but Mae, the piercer, was straight up with me and let me know that I didn’t have the correct anatomy and recommended me another piercing similar to it. She kept it real🤷💯Mae was super sweet, I would 100% recommend Mrs. Mae🫰🏻

Came here for the first time to get my nose pierced and Mae was so sweet and helpful I loved my piercing! I also asked her if I was good enough to get an industrial or gauges to which she explained to me why my anatomy wouldn’t really let me have them, she was so honest and sincerely cared about me I hope to be going back and specifically look for her!

A tattoo is for life. I did my homework for months and researched for a tattoo shop. This was the best choice. Im sorry to say I felt i got the artist that really didnt care. My tattoo wasnt elaborate or ornate but the artist should care none the less. Besides being distracted everytime the phone rang or the front door opening, my artist would look up to watch TV while tattooing me then gets up and does a piercing for like 30 minutes. No sorry, no apology. Then my tattoo didnt look like the picture I submitted. I call back a few weeks later for a touch up which was suppose to be at 1pm. They call me to set it up at 2:30, then call again to set it up at 4. Im just so upset and disappointed. The artist should care and not be distracted no matter how small the tattoo. It means something to the person getting it. Im currently looking for another place so they can fix my tattoo. The receptionist is very kind and really tries to help and everyone else looked like they were really concentrating on their work.

For my first time in years getting a tattoo I showed up to the shop late and still got great service by phone and in person i ended up getting a forearm tattoo by lil Ron let me tell you he might be young but does great work and is super friendly I really like how my tattoo came out no pain plus has a light hand I recommend lil Ron to anybody now thank you will be back soon‼️

After waiting almost 7 years of getting an other tattoo I was nervous scared but I was so very overwhelmed how my experience was and my artist Ron Jr. did such an amazing work. He really took his time drawing what I wanted. And when it come down to put that drawing down on sink it was beautiful. So beautiful. My overall impression of the artist and shop will have me there again so with Ron Jr for an many more tattoos. Thanks Ron Jr.

My mom, sister and I took a girls trip to San Antonio & my mom had a very spontaneous idea to get a tattoo. We found this place by the fabulous reviews & our artist Lil Ron (Instagram lilronkillsjr) did a fabulous job!! Mae at the front helped us decide what colors and placement as well. He took the time to answer all of my moms questions- like freaking 100 of them. He drew up the design & tweaked it so that we were 100% happy with the final design. Absolutely amazing, definitely recommend Lil Ron to anyone!!

I didnt get a tattoo when I visited (I was with my significant other who was getting inked), but the employees were very kind to me. We were on vacation in San Antonio, so I wanted to go with. They didnt act like I was in the way or taking up space even though I wasnt the one getting a tattoo. The people were friendly, and the vibes were good. My partner got their tattoo for an incredibly reasonable price, and the artist was kind.

Very disorganized. Studio was even a little grimy. Felt like washing my hands after I left. Scheduled an appointment with Aida for a consultation, but when I got there, Aida wasnt there, and neither was the artist! I was then asked if I could come back in 5 hours. (Hah!! Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me, so um...yeah, I dont think so.) What irks me is that they couldnt even call beforehand to let me know; I had to waste time and gas to find out that Id have to reschedule my consultation. Really super glad Im not getting a tat there.

I did my research and read so many reviews on google and Instagram for my cover up. I am So Glad I went to Firme Copias!!!!!!! I got my cover up from Spinnertop and I am Soooooo Glad I did!!! I had a Really dark name to cover up and I was scared that after the tattoo I would still be able to see the name. But luckly I went with Firme Copias because you cannot see the name at all!!! I wish I would of took a before picture. The establishment was very clean and the people were friendly and made me feel at ease! I will be going back!! Great prices for Great work Cant Beat It!!!

ABSOLUTELY LOVE MAE!! my wife and i decided to get piercings last minute so we called & a man told us someone would contact us later & immediately Mae texted me , so we headed over and from the moment we got there she was the sweetest & the cutest - she made the experience fun & NOT awkward- at times (at other places) you find your piercer not trying to have a conversation w you but Mae was funny & she laughed w us & she made sure we got the RIGHT piercing for our body type - the pain was very minimal for my wife and i with the type of piercings we got ! definitely going back to her for all others & telling friends & family about her !! ❣️❣️❣️❣️

Went into the 410 shop as a walk-in. They didnt have anyone available but called around to other shops to find me an artist. I ended up with Conrad. The whole experience was amazing. I came in on no rest and almost fainted halfway through (my fault) and Conrad made sure I had candy, a soda, and a nice break to be able to keep going. The staff was incredibly respectful and professional. Ill be coming back and will recommend this shop to everyone I know looking for tattoos.

Came from out of town for the weekend and wanted to get a tattoo. I found this place and was very satisfied. When I worked in the receptionist was nice and asked what I wanted and said someone will help me when they can. Didn’t have to wait long especially for being a walk in. LilRon was my artist and I was over the moon with my tattoo. It came out amazing and I was comfortable with everything. Definitely coming back here when I visit again.

What a fantastic experience! I took my wife to get her first tattoo this weekend and my god odd they treat us well. She got a really simple tattoo, but the lines were flawless. I came here to get my first tattoo not really knowing what to expect. After a brief consultation, I was able to schedule an appointment and choose from the many extremely talented artists employed here. Larry was able to see what I wanted, and expand upon that, taking time to go over the finer details and really guide me through the whole process. I left beyond satisfied. Everyone there was very welcoming, and you can tell that they care about their craft. I will definitely becoming back with new ideas in the future.

Im sure the other artist are great but what ever you do avoid Chico at all cost. I had a horrible experience with him and Ill never go back. I have traditional tattoos but wanted a black and gray artist so went to him and never had an artist take so many breaks, stopping and starting so much made it easy more painful. The communication was horrible from the get-go, he makes you talk with his wife, so when I got there he didnt even know what I wanted really when I got there.Response: I definitely get him being uncomfortable because I was as well, being forced to lean over on an old chair with little support and bent so far out of shape I couldnt lean too far/hard or it would fall. And to be clear he was standing and bending over for the majority of it. And Ill definitely work with someone else who communicates better so time isnt wasted the day of because he didnt even know the size, style, color, or general idea of the piece beforehand and had to create a new drawing entirely.

Lil Ron took care of my tattoo and my sisters. I told him the meaning meant the world to me and he made my vision possible. He took his time before my appointment to hear me out and he designed an amazing piece in Memory of My Jocey Girl. Without even him seeing her favorite toy Eli 🐘his design look just like him.Hes a sweetheart, his work is amazing he made me feel right at home, real chill placed. Aida and him said dont worry were going to take care if you and they did. Made me feel family.

I came in as a walk in asking for a big tattoo (a cuff going up to the middle of my forearm) and it’s a mandala so it’s detailed, so I was prepared to come in later on in the week since it would take a few hours. Nope! Rone had it stenciled and fitted it on me within a couple of hours and we knocked it our right there.I can’t say enough about how wonderful everyone is here. It’s such a great atmosphere.10/10 would recommend if you want a big piece on the fly… or just in general. I’ll be finishing the rest of my arm there for sure.

I got an amazingly beautiful chest piece done yesterday by the one and only, Spinner. I couldnt be happier with the outcome and overall experience. Shop seemed clean, everyone I talked to was nice. The guy I spoke with about getting a new tattoo seemed interested in my design, we talked prices and I was cool with what he quoted, he said hed draw it out and reach out to me with it. Never heard anything since. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I cant recommend this place highly enough! I just finished up a two-session tattoo with Jason and it is awesome. He took the basic idea that I had and made it into a custom work of art. I had a great experience at the Firme Copias Rayburn Dr. location. The receptionist Aida was very helpful and made sure I was comfortable during the long tattoo process. As well she answered all my questions and gave very helpful advice on how to care for the tattoo immediately afterwards. My tattoo artist Chuy was amazing. He has a steady hand and really knows his craft.  I was watching a true artist. The tattoo far exceeds my expectations. Its stunning!  I couldn’t be happier!

I had my piece done by Lefty, an incredibly talented artist after another artist had to cancel. I was accommodated extremely well to find just the right artist, at a good time, and great care was taken in ensuring I was going to get exactly what I wanted. I sat for seven hours with a ~15 minute break halfway through, and it was a fantastic experience. The piece turned out better than I could have hoped and I love it. The amount of work Lefty was able to do in that time, and with great skill and care, is absolutely incredible. I wouldn’t go back to any other artist, could I redo it. The staff are also incredibly friendly and helpful, creating an optimistic and energetic atmosphere.

Me and my spouse traveled more than 6 hours to enjoy ourselves in San Antonio, we had always wanted to get tattoos but were limited to good tattoo shops back at home. When we first searched up tattoo shops here in SA this was the first one to pop up and it has the best reviews. We called and scheduled an appointment, within a couple of hours the owner of the shop contacted me to find out more info on our exact tattoo ideas. He was able to pair us up with his best artists. The next morning everything ran smoothly and within a couple of hours we were able to walk out with our tattoos. The whole process was very professional. The artist are very precise and also nice :), I enjoyed my time there and the prices were very fair !! Thank you Firme Copias for everything, I will recommend y’all to everyone lol!!!

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you! I couldn’t have asked for a better experience for my first tattoo! It all started with the welcoming of Aida through text messages, setting up consultation and answering all questions I asked. The big day came and first meeting Chico, his vibes are so chill and comforting that it calmed my nerves. He did an amazing job on my tattoo and proud to say where I got it from! The shop is the atmosphere of family! It’s like going to your favorite Tia’s house and hanging out with your own! I can literally sit and talk with Aida for hours if I could :) Thank you all and now understand why y’all were highly recommend!

Hello, firstly Id like to say What an absolutely amazing atmosphere when going inside there.Everyone is so friendly, its welcoming. I had my appointment today to get a Tattoo done! Of course, I was wondering how itll come out, and it came out absolutely AMAZING!Ive been to other tattoo places, but this one here wins.If its going to be your first time looking for a place to get tattood, stop by here. No complaints.My Artist was Lefty, he did an AMAZING JOB on the tattoo piece I was aiming for (Anime, Demon Slayer for the nerds out there)I mean, look at this beauty! Absolutely STUNNING.I will be going back in the future for more as time goes on!Also, they have multiple languages in there. Incase you cant speak English and VICE VERSA! Another +!

This is the place I went to get my first tattoo. My artist was Lil Ron and he was very conversational and informative when telling me about the process before and after receiving my tattoo. He was patient and made sure I was feeling all right all throughout the process of getting my tattoo. The work station was clean and professional and so was the conduct of all employees and employers. I definitely would recommend this place for your first tattoo. Overall I had a great experience.

Went to get a tattoo done and Lil Ron did my tattoo along with my friends and he did an amazing job! Talked and joked with us the entire time and gave us a great experience! 10/10 would recommend! The staff was so friendly and welcoming as well! Also very clean and sanitary!

My bestie and I decided to get dainty small tattoos last minute and we are able to get them 20 minutes within arriving as walk-ins. Lefty was our artist and he did a great job. The host Aida was amazing with customer service! Overall we had a great experience.
