Tuna was amazing! He was super professional and made you feel at home! He did my tattoos amazingly, and he was gentle and careful. Very clean, and friendly. His work is amazing, and he did two tattoos that have a lot of meaning behind them, and he perfected them! I will definitely be back!

My wife and I came for their ghost tattoo promo and were beyond happy with the quality and service we got.Tuna and Sean did our work and were really happy with everything.Well be back for more ink in the near future.

Vanessa was really great super helpful. Kept everything clean. The whole process was super quick I was in and out within 15-20 minutes. She gave me some helpful tips on how to keep my piercing clean and when to change it out. Thank you so much! Will be back again.

This rating is only for the shop not on the artist now. My artist preferred to outline instead of sketch what I had as a reference for pictures.Dom was my tattoo artist. (But be careful if you rate badly) He was nice and helpful in helping me make the right decisions for the type of tattoo I wanted as well as informed me on the location I wanted. Ended up doing something different from what I initially planned and changed the location after a couple consultations with him for the better. I appreciated that from him. Store has a nice vibe and clean. Got a bit too close with the wolf tail and cat head the front leg looks odd to me. Otherwise I still love the tattoo.Update after being ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️:They have great customer service and a friendly atmosphere. But be careful if you give a low rating because your artist may message you about it! This rating isn’t even low it is down the middle before.The ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ is only for the shop as a whole not the artist now even though i did not hate him before he messaged me. Also technically the artist copy pasted from what i wanted versus when i asked to “spice it up” sketch something in his style. So this tattoo does not truly correlate to him as an artist sketching his own designs. if he does that (i wouldn’t know).

I came in with two others for a matching tattoo and the appointment scheduling was a smooth and straightforward process. Our appointment was confirmed a few days prior(which we definitely loved). We arrived on time and the checkin process was easy and simple, after that we got introduced to our artist Tuna and discussed our tattoo. He really know what he’s doing and obviously loves the work. I’ve had a few done by different artist and Tuna left the best impression. He’s intentional and clean with the quality of work. The studio itself was a vibe and everyone was great‼️ Coming back for more in the future.

Stopped in with the wife on vacation after deciding to splurge on ink instead of more thrills. AJ reluctantly agreed to accommodate my desire to tattoo straight lines down my neck. After about 3 hours my wife and I both had what we wanted and we parted ways. Staff was extremely polite and attentive even making me stay a bit longer due to a clotting problem that showed itself during the work.Not only did they give me something deeply inspired by my childhood but so too did they do both at a great price as they are known to cater to service members. My best friend and I went to get corresponding tattoos with each other before moving apart and Jesus (Jesse) was very professional and discrete (made sure I didn’t feel too exposed because mine was on the upper thigh and I was wearing a dress). He explained the whole process to me and liked to keep a healthy conversation going, which I really appreciated! They gave us detailed aftercare instructions…I made sure to tip well and leave a good review. It was a great first tattoo experience! $120 + tip.

Big Chris did this for 400 dollarsI took very good care of this tattoo.I used the ointment he recommended and he told me to stay out of the sun and out of swimming pools so I did all of that and this is what it came out like it has a lot of scarring he went way too deep in some spots.I went in there with a picture of what I wanted and he did what he wanted and it came out like this.These are facts!!

I wouldve given 5 stars if I didnt have to wait for more than 4 hrs especially that its a scheduled appt. not walk in. When I got there on time, I filled out the paperwork but then I was told I need to come back at this specific time (more than 2 hrs wait after my scheduled appt.) since theyre backed up... but I got there on time and someone else is getting a tattoo on my scheduled appt.. I showed up 10 mins. early, but I had to wait for more than 2 hrs again when I got back, its almost closing time when I got called to the back for the tattoo. I mean, maybe an hour/hour and a half delay is fine since were all just humans... but I was patient because I scheduled myself to get tatted and they asked for the payment upfront when I havent even gotten my tattoos yet so I had no choice but to wait and stay there, it was my first time to experience that cause I never had to do that on my 7 tattoos from different shops. I never complained to anyone at the shop 😅 I did liked the tattoos and appreciate the discount for the inconvenience so that kind of relieved the frustration. Artists value their time, but they should value their clients time as well to bring more people. I got two piercings there as well, and Catie was really nice. I might try the Fredericksburg location next time, I hope I wont have to wait for more than 4 hrs. 😅Update... I wont be coming back. These were the tattoos after they were healed. Yellow colored ink was mixed with pink, both tattoos looked faded/old. :/ I have an 8 year old tattoo and it still looks new... I wasted my time and money.

Came in for their Halloween flash special and Jesse tattooed me....It came out so clean and nice. It was also a surprisingly fast process.

My friend and I went for their Halloween flash sale and loved it! It was a 3 hour wait, but once I got the tattoo I realized why the wait was so long. Artist Jezz made sure to double check the placement, change the studio around so I was more comfortable, and kept going in to add more details to a normally plan sheet tattoo. Definitely worth the wait!

Blue was my artist, he made time for me as a walk in on a Saturday, clean lines and super soft handed as far as the tattooing itself.. was detailed with making sure he got it all saturated, its better than the reference I gave him and he worked fast. Can always appreciate good music and good, light energy!!!

They were offering a special on dog tattoos in honor of National Dog day. I couldn’t make it to the actual one and come to find out they had a great turn out so they decided to offer it again a week or so later. They were very easy to work with and very accommodating. Definitely a great shop in San Antonio for anyone looking for a tattoo.

Went in to get a ring tattoo. The artist said he could not do detailed work on a finger so we agreed on just the Date. I asked him to be 100% sure he was ok with doing 9-1-2000 and he said it wouldn’t be a problem but because it’s my finger he would have to touch it up a couple times to get all numbers dark. I paid the shop minimum $60 and he did the work. Looked good and I was happy with it. Now 3weeks later I call to set up an appointment for touch ups and the owners father tells me it will be $60 each time and would probably take 4 times to get it filled in and dark. That $240 for 1/4 numbers. He said the artist should have explained that but he didn’t. He refused to deal or come down at all. If I would have known I would have had it put somewhere else. As a Veteran I went to this shop on purpose because they advertise as Veteran friendly just saying. I will go somewhere else to get this fixed and do not recommend this shop. If you choose to go here be sure they explain everything and put it in writing

Got a tribal design in 1994. Long in need of a touchup. Really needed to be redone. Sean did it for me, my 2nd time with him. He went over it and helped with some detail and made it look new. It was not done really well to begin with and was not expecting much. Sean brought it back to life and I was surprised and very happy with the results. He is great. Fun to talk to and really has a nice touch. I recommed him highly. I already have my next one in mind to have him do.

I got a tattoo from an artist. He quit and no one told me. I show up the day of my appointment to finish the color portion and was told my tattoo cant be finished (I already paid for the completion). I was told the owner would contact me, never did. A month and some change later nothing. Thank god I found a more professional studio to complete my tattoo. The way the owner handled the situation was shady. No apology or plan to make the situation right. Do not recommend this place at all.

I got my tattoo done back in May & Im finally getting around to write my 5 star review of Fernando. I came in looking to get my second tattoo done. I was a little nervous as it was a big piece I wanted tattooed on my ribs in honor of my cousin, but Fernando made me feel at ease right away. He had me laughing & talking the whole time. Before I had went to Nite Owl I had went to Skin Deep and they wanted to stencil the picture I brought right on me and charge $450. Fernando HAND DREW my piece and charged much, much less than what Skin Deep was wanting. I HIGHLY recommend going to see Fernando. I absolutely love my sunflower dream catcher and it still looks just as good as the day it was done!

I recently just got my very first tattoo done Last Friday, granted the staff was absolutely amazing, however my tattoo artist I felt kinda rushed on my tattoo. Me and a couple of friends decided to get a tattoo kinda last minute so we came in about 6:30 to get them done however (not yalls fault one bit) it took a little longer to get done. When I finally got up for my tattoo it was around 7:30 and I understand it was close to closing time, But you can definitely tell in the pictures where the artist I had, really messed up especially on my moon phase. I’ve had multiple people point it out to me, and it kinda makes me just want to cover my tattoo up. This was my first tattoo, and as soon as the artist was done he wrapped my arm and went straight to the bathroom, didn’t tell me what to use for my tattoo or what I needed to do for it. I ended up asking the other tattoo artist Jesse for advice on it even tho he was not my artist. I ended up waiting inside for a good 15 minutes waiting to give Sean his tip, but he was still in the bathroom, so I ended up just leaving his tip on the table and just walking out.

My tattoo artist was Abel. He was super nice, he made my experience getting a tattoo for the first time non regrettable. Thank you Abel you did a really awesome job🫶🏽☺️

Nite Owl is the place to go! I’ve been quite a few times and every time I go in they are very professional. This is by far the best tattoo shop I’ve been to. The owner is always so nice and professional. My family from New Mexico only comes to Nite Owl for their tattoos as they have seen first hand what kind is art comes out of there.
