Andy pierced my nose today alongside his lovely apprentice. The experience was quick and easy. I had a previous nose piercing that had closed up; I expected to receive a piercing in the same spot but liked my new placement much more and opted to follow Andy’s guidance. Andy was informative, personable, professional, and very funny. Beautiful studio, extremely clean, overall a totally ideal experience. Highly recommended, will definitely be back!

I had a piercing (daith) done at a different place The piercing came out twice got swollen and ear was in pain. CAME TO THIS PLACE ONE AND ONLY AND HAD AN AMAZING EXPERIENCE!! I was kind of worried just because my ear was already in pain. I didn’t want to go through anymore pain. But I also didn’t want to give up on my piercing. I TELL YOU I DID NOT FEEL A THING. Vanessa and Nick went above and beyond to make sure that my best friend and I had the best experience. Vanessa has such a light hand but produces beautifully saturated art. The space was open and extremely clean and welcoming. I wont go anywhere else!

The guy with the beard who is at the front is horrible at talking to customers. He’s rude and treats you like a child if you don’t already have the highest knowledge on piercings. Not a single smile or any helpful language. He just over talks the front receptionist and acts like you’re the biggest annoyance in the world. Would’ve gotten pierced there the same day but went to san marcos tattoo emporium instead and they were so kind and helpful! One and Only tattoo isn’t interested in creating a comfortable environment for clients. Make sure you only get pierced here if you’re already a piercer who knows everything about getting pierced, or you’ll just be an annoyance.

Got my ears re-pierced in May. They are healed and had zero issues so far! Adras was super nice and very professional. I just got a tattoo done by Brad and it looks great and is healing well. The shop is full of professional and kind people. They are very clean and organized. Highly recommend!

Went to get a nose piercing by myself kinda spontaneously and was greeted by really kind and professional people. Very welcoming and made me feel comfortable. I think my piercers name was quanyin. She was really sweet and gentle. It’s been a month since and I have had 0 problems :)

Outstanding shop! Daniel and Teresa were awesome. Came in on a whim with my best friend and they both fit us in. Not only did Daniel do a fantastic job on our outline of the Grand Teton Mountains but he made sure we were up next to get my septum pierced with Teresa. Teresa was very thorough explaining the process of my serum piercing and made me feel beautiful in the end. Will definitely be going back to this shop for more work.

Walked in to get a piercing. The lady up front was so nice and helpful. Unfortunately they didnt have the jewelry my daughter needed for her belly button piercing and said the new jewelry wouldnt be in for 2 weeks. She did recommend a place up the street we could try. That turned out to be a success.

Came in with my husband to get tattoos for our anniversary. I had seen Daniels artwork on a friend. We drove from San Antonio to San Marcos to meet with him and it was so worth the trip! Daniel got exactly what we wanted, was creative with the designs and we got right to work. The tattoos turned out beautifully and the amount of detail and strength of his line work just made our tattoos even stronger. We both love them!!The shop is gorgeous. The artwork is for sale and give the shop a gallery feel. You can also get pierced or pick up some jewelry in the shop.We are already talking about other ideas for tattoos and we will make the drive back to San Marcos!

Outstanding artists. My wife and I have gotten nearly a dozen tattoos here. My sister got her first ink here. My son, wife and I all got the same ink here. One & Only consistently delivers quality. I can only speak to their black and white work I haven’t ventured I to color yet. Prices are fair, shop is clean, after care directions are very thorough. Would recommend to first timers and veteran ink lovers alike.

I had the best experience at One and Only!!! I was a bit nervous at first because this was my first facial piercing but the nerves shortly went away!! I felt safe and excited to get my piercing! My piercer walked me through the whole process so I knew what was going on, and it didn’t hurt at all! Very professional! 10/10 recommend, especially if you’re new to piercings!!

I went twice this week got my nose pierced then the other side my friend got her lip pierced and my other friend got her belly button and nose. We walked in and were greeted and helped. They were super nice and clean very thorough. My friend with the lip piercing wasn’t feeling great so they sat and talked with us and watched her gave her water and candy she started feeling better. Everyone in here were so nice definitely recommend 10/10 my nose piercing was 55$ and the other was 96$ just depending on jewelry. Didn’t hurt at all they were so gentle. Will be coming back!

I had to leave a review after a handful of visits to this shop for their piercings. I got my conch pierced here back in July and that whole process was great. Everyone was so nice, and all of their jewelry is so beautiful and unique. By far the best selection of body jewelry Ive seen in any tattoo shop. Most of their jewelry is 14k gold, so it is a little pricer than a lot of places, but I only wear gold so that didnt bother me. Then today I had an issue with my septum infinity ring that I totally messed up and got stuck in my nose. I called the shop to see if the piercer could see me and she could. I went in and saw Emily and she was so much fun to sit and laugh with while she struggled to get my septum ring out. She took such good care of me and continuously asked me if I was ok. Unfortunately my old septum ring couldnt be saved, but I have only myself to blame for making such a mess of it in the first place. Emily was able to get one of their rings in my septum though and it looks absolutely amazing and I will be going back to see her each and every time I have a piercing need. Youre the best Emily!!

Got my tragus pierced, but was originally interested in a different piercing. I was instructed to reach out to someone on Instagram to discuss jewelry for said piercing, was never contacted. Then I tried reaching out to one of your tattoo artists and also never got a response in regards to one of her flash posts. Do you guys ever respond to anything? Ive heard multiple complaints from several locals about this business; specifically in regards to lack of responsiveness.

I hadnt had a piercing since I got my ears done in 1st grade.Ive always wanted a nose piercing and Im glad I was able to do it here! It was professional but also chill- so it made me very comfortable! They made sure everything was sterilized properly and checked in on me to tell me how long it would be. They were super understanding and answered all of the aftercare questions I asked! I will definitely go back there for future piercings and/or questions.

I stopped in for a retainer for a more recent piercing because I’ll be having unexpected surgery soon. Not only did Aedras (and her new apprentice Leo) help with that, she helped me out with issues healing that same piercing and gave me some really valuable information. Todays interaction with Aedras has made me determined to see her for my next set of piercings. I’ll be back as soon as possible.

Best place to get a piercing. I’ve gotten 2 piercings and convinced my roommate to get a belly button piercing there too and she was nervous but they made her calm about the process and it was just awesome.

I had an awesome experience getting pierced by Aedras here. She had an answer for every question I had and explained what she was doing the whole time. Went for sleeve tattoo.Paid up front . He only did half of it but to finish it now he wants more money. And this is NOT what you agreed to. You smiled at me and said you could do it for the cash I had!(Which was 900.) I have since gone other places and have been told you ripped me off!

My husband and I were celebrating our 10 year anniversary in the hill country and spontaneously decided to get some tattoos. One and Only Tattoo was recommended to us and I’m sure glad it was! This was my 1st tattoo and it was a bitter sweet experience but Aaron (my apologies if this is not how he spells his name) was the best!! I truly adore my tattoo! Im 51 and never thought I would get one and was nervous AF but it was great!! I cant urge you enough if your going to get one for any reason happy or sad go here! I’ve been looking to get a piece for a while, but I haven’t been able to find a reputable shop in town. After some searching, I decided one and only was a good shot. Daniel and the staff are extremely nice, and their work speaks for themselves. I explained my budget, and we were able to reach a reasonable price. Madison was the one who tatted me; I can say without a doubt I was thoroughly impressed/satisfied by the end of the session, which only took about three hours or so. Overall, the place and my experience was pleasant and I definitely recommend getting piercings or tattoos here

Never had my ear pierced because my left ear had a birth defect and I was afraid it would make me look unbalanced. I looked at many places for piercings from San Marcos to Austin and One & Only Tattoo was the only place I felt comfortable going. So happy I decided to get my piercings done here! I had been wanting a piercing on my left nostril for years now and now that I had recently turned 18, I excitedly searched after getting paid for a tattoo/piercing shop here in town, and the One & Only Tattoo Co really caught my attention because of their reviews, their work on their Instagram (@oneandonlytattoocompany) and their piercer’s work (@aedraselaine) most importantly in my case, respectively, and so I instantly called the beautiful shop and went in that same day about an hour before closing time and my mom and 2 sisters and myself met the piercer, AEdras Elaine, and she was extremely sweet and very helpful with guiding me through the process of picking out my stud and gave me exceptional (amazing!) advice and was super thoughtful and complimented me, and while doing my piercing she was very reassuring and it was a quick but amazing process and the end result was awesome and so cute! She was very detailed about the aftercare and healing processes and I’d love to get more done from her later and support more of her work and even my mother and my sisters were more interested in getting piercings of their own because of this cool visit! Thank you so much to my piercer, she truly rocks! And this place, it rules!!! ❤️ Thank you, God Bless all y’all! ❤️❤️❤️

Came here about a year ago to get my VCH done. Aedras was great, very professional and I felt safe doing this piercing with her! It’s healed great and I’ll definitely be back for more work.*UPDATE* 9/13/21So because I had such a great first experience here, I decided to come back during their Friday the 13th special this year to get a navel piercing done. Long wait time as anticipated, no problem. But after being told that a regular naval piercing wouldn’t work with my body type, and instead I would need a floating naval, I was a bit disappointed but decided to give it a try. What was originally supposed to be a $13 piercing turned into $75-80 bucks because of the upselling of the jewelry which I thought was kinda outrageous (I got a small synthetic opal top to a curved barbell. I’ve bought the same type of jewelry from Etsy for $25). Still, whatever. But the girl who pierced me put the placement so high that the bar length wasn’t long enough to let it heal. After about a week of it being pulled further into my flesh, I called the shop with my concerns twice, then went in. I was told that yeah it did look too short but there was nothing that could be done since their inventory of bars was out. I asked if I could come back after restock was done, I didn’t want to lose this $80 piercing. Quanyin was not able to give me an ETA when this could be done. I waited 2 more days and the pain was so bad that I called again and asked if they had any jewelry in, nope. I was advised to take it out and that no refunds could be given, just store credit. I’ve gone to the shop two times more since then to at least use the credit, both times told that I couldn’t be helped until she was personally working that day. I’m really bummed my second experience here hasbeen so negative. I won’t be coming back.Update** 10/12/21Aedras was kind enough to call me to ask about what had happened with my naval ring and to offer to have the bar size I needed ordered. She was able to help me resolve the issue and the follow up was much appreciated.

I cannot review this place highly enough. The building itself is clean, comfortable, and welcoming. The jewelry is beautiful, and I actually chose a pair that also supported a good cause! Win, win. Aedras did a fabulous and professional job on both me and my sister’s ears and made me feel really relaxed. We’ll never go anywhere else. 10 out of 10!

I first went to One & Only Tattoo for a septum piercing back in January & had AEdras pierce me. She was so sweet & explained every single step to make sure I knew what was going on. She also gave me tips over healing & made whats supposed to be a painful experience so much better! I go back to change my jewelry every so often & shes always so kind & positive!This July I got a thigh piece by Saraloni. Getting tattoos is an experience & this one was AWESOME! She would talk to me to keep my mind off the pain, she would make sure I was doing okay, staying extremely positive throughout the entire process. She definitely made me feel like her best friend in those 6 hours of tattooing! I LOVED IT & my thigh piece is GORGEOUS! SO happy with the service and art here at this shop!

I was on a hunt to find the absolute best place to get my daughters ears pierced (she’s 7), and my sis but we’ll leave her age out LOL. And I knew better than to take her to a place like Claire’s. I feel like we’re so lucky to find One And Only Tattoo. Aedraselaine is beyond the best ever and if there were a billion stars I could give her and this place I would. This is the CLEANEST tattoo/piercing place I’ve ever been in. I even contemplated finding something on me to have pierced while we were there because the experience was so freakin amazing. I will 100% bring my youngest there (she’s 3) when she is ready to have her ears pierced because when you find the best why go anywhere else.

Had a great experience here. was able to book an appointment right away. staff was friendly and helpful. I had a fun time chatting with them while getting work done. The shop is clean and the art inside is amazing. The location is nice. If you cant find parking on the square there is plenty down San Antonio Street and the walk isnt bad at all. They have farmers market on the square during the weekend so plan to park far away on Saturdays. I made the stupid choice of sitting five hours straight on one piece and when my endorphins wore off Jacob was really kind and talked me through the pain while he finished the last parts of the tattoo.

Asked to have a consultation. Scheduled weeks in advance. Artist canceled my appointment at noon, for feeling sick but then see her post a tattoo she just did at 2pm on her Instagram. Glad I didnt get a tattoo from Petra, waist of time going here.

We brought our 7 year old daughter in to get her ears piecred. The customer service was great and Aedras (the piercer) was amazing with our daughter.

Spent over six months of trying to schedule a tatoo. Gave my deposit, scheduled it, tatoo artist cancelled the day before. Rescheduled, cancelled the night before. This went on several more times, before I said no more. Maybe they are paying rent with consultation money. Good Luck actually getting a tatoo. Maybe in a year.
