I walked in on a whim while visiting San Marcos. Everyone here is super friendly nice and willing to really talk and work out ideas with you. Jerry set me up with tattoo artist Banks after having an idea of what I wanted. Banks did an amazing job. Even though I live in Houston Ill be coming back here for all my future work! They made me feel like part of the family and even introduced me to some of the locals to make my entire stay more comfortable and fun! The shop is super clean, the people are great and prices are very reasonable for the work you are getting done. I cant say enough great things about this tattoo shop. If your thinkng about getting one go here.

Amazing shop! I have been skeptical to get tattoo’d in TX after having my guy in Miami but I needed a new piece and Banks killed it!!! Freehanded with a sharpie and then straight to the gun. Everyone was so nice - I will 100% be back and Banks will be my artist til I move.

My roommate and I walked into Jerry’s tattoo shop not knowing how the conversation would go. We were greeted by Jerry who was open minded, friendly, and such a fun guy to talk too. Even though he had people ahead of us, he hooked us up with his buddy. Love the environment and support for getting the tattoo. Amazing artist and his work! This was a last minute idea, Jerry and his buddy hooked me and my roommate up tonight. He was very out going and open minded which made me feel extremely comfortable and safe. I would recommend Jerry’s tattoo shop for anyone wanting Good, fairly priced tattoos. What an amazing environment!

First impressions really atmospheric vibes and very friendly. They also got me in really fast. Jerry tattoo had so many options to choose from there is the sick Mario sheet for Friday the 13th that were only 130$ for good size tattoos that had a lot of detail there was like hundreds of sheets in there. It was insane. One of my favorite ones was the walking middle finger with the buttcheeks hanging out 😭😭. They also had $40 tattoos for Friday the 13th that were all retro from 1930s to 1970. And the person who tattooed me, his name is Banks: He was super chill and nice. The lines look super crisp and it’s a good sized tattoo. I got a $40 one but I easily would’ve gotten a $130 one because they were all super sick. They had something for literally everyone in there. Definitely check this place out if you have a chance. One suggestion though next year, can you guys please do a sonic sheet with all the main characters (including shadow!!) on there? The Mario sheet was so well done!! You can never have too many sheets. I feel like, but it was so hard to choose my favorite one cus they were all good 👍😎🟩🟩🟩☑️☑️☑️

My husband and I got our first matching tattoo today with Isaac and he was honestly the best. Was very gentle but did an amazing work!! It wasn’t my first tattoo but it was for my husband and he was very patient with him making sure he was comfortable. We will definitely be back.

In town for the weekend and decided to get some last minute ink therapy with the girls and they didn’t hesitate to get us a spot! A special shout out to Banks! He not only hooked my SIL up but me as well after my original artist had to leave! Service was great, fair pricing and quality work! Would definitely come back!

We had the best experience this past weekend. My goddaughter got her 1st tattoo and they were absolutely amazing, friendly, and explained everything. I also got 2 more tattoos and a friend got a tattoo. So 4 tattoos total. We were in at 3p and out at 630p. Jerry, Isaac, and Rob you all werw the best.

I have multiple tattoos from on the square, and the only ones I don’t regret getting are here from Jerry and his team! They care about what they do, and they want to put “stellar” work out there for their customers. The pride in this shop is amazing!

Went here for my third tattoo and Issac did an awesome job on it! He was very patient working with me and made sure I liked what I was getting before doing it! Highly recommend going here, great staff, atmosphere and very clean :)

I absolutely cannot express enough the amazing experience my mother and I had this Mothers Day. Not only did he fit Us in last minute, everyone in the shop was incredibly friendly which is sometimes hard to find... Jerry has to be the most passionate tattoo artist Ive ever met. He doesnt price gouge you either which is a huge bonus especially for the quality of work he does. The shop was clean, the music was amazing and even my Baptist grandmother loved the guy. Absolutely cannot wait to get tattooed here again. Would take a bullet for you my dude!

I had an amazing experience here, the flash options are awesome and the employees are the best. Jerry did my tattoo in under an hour, and kept me laughing the entire time. Easy, quick and fun experience, in and out in less than 2 hours, the guys were very welcoming and nice, larry did a great job tattooing me! :)

I showed Chris a picture of the Gemini constellation, from Pinterest, and he made it nearly identical (I changed some things to fit my preference)!!!! He and the rest of the staff were super nice and understanding. You can really tell how much they all care about their artwork . This was also my first, and they answered every single question I had. The session was 30 minutes and costed $100!. I highly recommend this place whether it’s your first or not, because it’s quality work that won’t break your bank. The inside is super clean and sterile too.

Got my very first tattoo yesterday and it came out even better than I had expected. I showed Jerry a photo and we adjusted some things so it’s “classy when you’re 18 and classy when you’re 80.” He was very patient with it and took his time to make it perfect. Couldn’t have asked for anyone better to do this tattoo for me.

Omg I love this place. It was my first time getting a tattoo and when I say it was the best experience ever hands down. everyone in the shop was so personable and had great customer service and actually cared about how the tattoo turned out. Everyone here is fckn AWESOME! Came in yesterday afternoon with a very specific idea and put down a $60 deposit to be added to the waitlist. Was called two hours later and set up with the artist best suited to the task, not just whoever was available - they MADE availability and stayed late to finish my work!Travis and Jerry are both fantastic, professional, and comfortable. I loved that all the artists are involved with each others work and Jerry offered suggestions throughout. I was told to return in a month for free touchups. These are folks who really care about their art and their clients - best shop on the Square!

Came in with a picture of what I wanted and walked out with the end product looking even better than I thought it would. The workers were very kind and the price was affordable. If I lived nearby I would definitely come back in the future for more tats! If you’re in the area and are wanting to get some work done I definitely would recommend this place.

I’ve been to Jerry’s twice now, and I have to say that this place is great! Jerry is super welcoming and loves to meet in person to help talk you through your idea. He usually has visitor artists that are super talented, and I was super lucky to get tattooed by Jason there recently! They have tons of artists on staff and have taken 2 large group walk-ins for my group in a super timely manner! Overall I’ve only had great experiences here and would definitely recommend visiting for all your tattoo needs!

We were in town on Friday and did a family tattoo trip. Three people, three tattoos. Phil did a great job with the ink. Exactly what we wanted done. The shop is clean and the people are great. I cant say enough good things about Jerry and his shop! My son is in town from California and we wanted a simple tattoo of our small dogs paw. I called a couple other shops that didnt seem interested but when I called Jerry he said come on in. He did the tats himself and they look awesome! I will definitely come back, and highly recommend this shop. Jerry is very down to earth and has a great philosophy on how to treat customers!

Banks is an amazing artist who makes each tattoo a personal goal of his to do the best he can. He sat with me for over an hour just making sure the placement, and style was perfect. I’m incredibly grateful for his patience, precision, and professionalism. He’s done two of my tattoos and will definitely be doing many more for me. 10/10 recommended

My fiance and I went in recently as an anniversary date, and I loved the entire experience! Everyone we interacted with in the shop was friendly, and Jerry was kind enough to do both our tattoos for us 😊 We walked in while they were pretty slow, so there was pretty much no wait time other than giving Jerry time to design the lettering and placement of it in mine (which Im so glad I let him come up with the type of font used, because it looks so much better than what I had imagined before walking in). Jerry was great during the actual tattooing also, and the whole process was pretty relaxed. Thank you for making my first mommy tattoo so freaking cute!!! 😄 Also, since the pic has the text backwards, it says Just run your own race lol 💚

Best tattoos in San Marcos, Issac is the best artist in Hayes county and Jerry is humble and knowledgeable. I appreciated everyone there and all their guard work. They are beautiful people with incredible art. Any one of the artists will work diligently with you and give you a long lasting experience.

I went to Jerry’s on an impulsive whim to get a cool tat for my birthday. I was a little nervous at first since I had never been there. That quickly went away once I had the owner himself helping me come up with my design. Then he went and grabbed Isaac who ended up doing my tat for me. He was a little young so I was again nervous at first. Until he showed his work and threw on some Deftones after my lady and I mentioned how much we loved the band. So to sum it all up, Issac and the whole crew were hella nice. Both in skill and hospitality, Issac gave me a super sick tattoo that I love and I will definitely be going back.This place is a must if you’re looking for both skill, wow factor and hospitality definitely a 10 out of 10. The entire staff was so nice and accommodating to my friend group, and the tattoos turned out great! Issac did really good script work if thats something you would want, and Jerry is an incredibly talented artist too. Go here you wont regret it!

Got two pieces done today, I’ve been to lots of tattoo shops, Jerry’s tops every single one of them. The vibes were immaculate, the service was an amazing experience. The knowledge of tattooing and the effort they put into each and every tattoo to make it unique and the best it could be, is unmatched. Super friendly and chill vibe, great artists, great products. I got a last minute tattoo on Memorial Day weekend. Travis was my artist and he did an excellent job. He was very professional and did his best to make me feel comfortable and at ease. Stop the search, THIS ONE IS IT! I just got my first tattoo here, and I am honestly so thankful that I stumbled upon this place. I don’t think my first tattoo experience could have gone any better. As my husband, friend, and I were headed home for the night, we passed by the tattoo shop and talked about getting a tattoo. Unfortunately, the shop was closed, but luck would have it that Clint and Jerry were two doors down outside. They were so awesome and agreed to do two tattoos for us after hours and opened the shop back up. Clint and I discussed what I wanted, and he made the process so easy. He has such a chill vibe and made me feel really comfortable. I appreciated his professionalism and clearly taking cleanliness seriously. His line work is awesome, and he has a really gentle hand. I will DEFINITELY be coming back to get more work done. You won’t regret choosing this place.

Jordan did such an amazing job! My step mom and I came in for tattoos and he took what we wanted and gave us awesome ideas he had to make them pop! He made us feel very comfortable and relaxed and took the extra time to draw out what we wanted. We never felt rushed or like our smaller tattoos were insignificant. A street tattoo shop that will not disappoint. My two girlfriends and I were in town for a show and spontaneously decided to get tattoos. Seeing the good reviews on Google, we went to Jerry’s. Jerry, Iliana, and Mike (my tattoo artist) are welcoming, caring, and professional. I’ve been to tattoo shops before where it’s a bit cold and intimidating, but here we felt comfortable and received.The vibe is clean and laid back. The selection of flash tattoos is amazing, so many classic and fun choices. I’d been wanting a traditional style tattoo for a while and fell in love looking at all the options! The result is exactly what I hoped for.It is cash only which is something we didn’t realize at first. There’s an ATM nearby but it wasn’t working and they don’t take venmo. We ended up only having enough cash to pay for the tattoos but not enough to tip. Despite this, they were unphased and still so nice to us.

These guys have a 5-star even rating (as of Monday, March 8, 2021) because they absolutely gosh dang deserve it. They sold me a tattoo in November. Ive been getting a lot of positive feedback about it. People have been telling me its got great line work and shading. Yall really did a great job on it! I think the value was very easily worth the price. Ive moved up to Kansas City since, but if and when I ever come back through San Marcos, Ill be stopping back by and get another one 😎

Came here with my boyfriend for Valentines Day in hopes to get my botched lizard tattoo revamped, and get his first tattoo! We were treated by Jerry who was very professional and gave us pretty fair quotes! Bangs worked on my lizard and did such a fantastic job! Jordan worked on my boyfriend and his turned out exactly how he wanted it! We are not from the area and recently moved here. We found our new tat place!!! It was my first time coming into this place and everyone was so freaking cool and funny!!! JORDAN was the one that did my tattoo and I not only loved his work but really appreciated how super comforting he was! This dude knows exactly what he’s doing! He came at the drop of a hat to do two last minute tattoos at 11pm at night on his day off. I was a little nervous but he was able to make me feel safe and it was a great first tattoo experience!

Fiancé and I decided to get last minute tattoos for my birthday and what an incredible job they did! They make the shop feel like a home. Everyone was talking to each other and having a great time and the work is excellent. It definitely will be our go to spot from here on out!

I just got my first tattoo from here and I definitely would recommend it for any other newcomers! The atmosphere of the shop was very cool and relaxed, which definitely helped ease my mind. I’ll admit I fainted during my session but the artist Chris handled it very professionally and safely, making sure I was comfortable and ready before continuing.

Just went in to see the generic flash they had a deal on - the sheets anyone can buy online. No one in that place drew them. I was about to share one on snapchat with my partner who probably would have wanted to come and pay for getting it, but I was accused of theft for trying to take the picture. Laughable and petty behavior from the owner who claimed he spends thousands to have those heavily copied designs. Relax, its 100 flash sheets for $150 available to anyone, anywhere.

If you are looking for a good quality tattoo, DONT go to Jerrys and especially DONT let the artist named Banks do any work on you. I made that mistake and am paying for it dearly.

Everyone in the shop is extremely friendly and nice! I went during Friday the 13th when they were extremely busy, yet they still managed to give superior service. I have gotten tattoos from other places on the square and I highly recommend Jerry’s over them! Do yourself a favor and get a tattoo from Jerry’s:)

Chris did an amazing job!! He was so professional and very quick. I got an elbow piece done by him in under 2 hours and it came out so sick!! Definitely go see them. Worth your money and time!!

Alyssa helped me with my ear piercing that I have been having trouble with for months. I had thought my hole was closed completely and so was shopping around to just get the one ear done on a college student budget, turns out it wasnt at all and she was able to pop my own set back in in less than 10 minutes. She was super nice, super positive and made the whole process easy and comfortable. 100/10, would consider getting new piercings from Alyssa.

Went and got a walk-in tattoo with my mom a few days ago, the shop was super friendly, welcoming, and professional! Clint and Travis got us taken care of and did an awesome job on our tattoos, and we were both super happy with the whole experience!

An absolutely amazing experience. He was able to take my thoughts and a basic idea and turn it into a wonderful tattoo. The experience was quick and the artist himself was so friendly, he was understanding and very thorough in explaining my everything to me. I will be going back for sure.

This tattoo was to be an exact copy of the only tattoo my brother ever had that he got 4 weeks before he died. So this tattoo is incredibly meaningful and important to me. Jerry knocked it out of the Park! It is a complicated tattoo and he was able to capture everything perfectly and even improve it in places I never wouldve thought of! He was compassionate, patient, and a total professional throughout the entire process. He probably couldve squeezed a few extra bucks out of me, maybe even deservedly so, but he took care of me better than I couldve hoped!Thank you Jerry and Jerrys Tattoos! Alyssa did a piercing for me and it was quick and painless, and I must add that she was very professional about it, even before the piercing. Her knowledge about it is outstanding. I would definitely go bk and trust her.

I was with a friend who was quote shopping, and the artist who was talking to us told how he didn’t care about COVID bc only 2% of people who get it will die, also while talking in circles about fluctuating pricing. We are both high risk, so in his carelessness he told us he didn’t care if we would die. I’ve been uncomfortable about it ever since, and don’t think this shop is the place the place to go if you’re a high risk person looking to get work done.

Jerry is the only guy I’ve gotten tattoos from. I love his work, vibe and music taste. He could get another shop out of state, and I’d figure out how to go get tattooed by him lmao

The shop was clean and all of the staff members were friendly. clint was super patient and professional and understood exactly what I wanted. his line work was extremely precise and was done pretty quickly. I will definitely be back for my next piece!!

YOU DONT DESERVE A STAR!!!Shewed me out rudely because I had my service dog with me. FYI- You arent even allowed by law to ask for papers or what my disability is. Surgery is a sterile procedure, with sterile fields and instruments. Tattooing is a far cry from that. If it was surgery, they would have worn gowns, masks and gloves long before covid. Seriously, I could file lawsuit on the parlor for kicking me out. Instead, I chose to give my 700$ to someonee else.And if you dont believe me - Google it!! The tattoo and body piercing rules require facilities to comply with the Americans With Disabilities Act. The Americans With Disabilities Act requires service animals to be allowed in the facility.

Me and my husband wanted tattoos on our honeymoon and Jerrys was the only one who could fit us walk Ins. Travis did my tattoo and its amazing. So glad I did it with them.
