I had a plan for some years now on a special tattoo I wanted. Taking two different themes and making them one. Odi Diaz made that vision come true. Odi took my visions; described with words and made the perfect tattoo. I felt comfortable with our first visit and made the appointment for a couple of weeks later. I had to reschedule however Odi never made me feel as this was an inconvenience. During my appointment the parlor was cool, quiet and clean.Thank you Odi, now for the next one.

This review is long overdue. My 5 year old had her ears pierced here with Amanda. I can’t imagine a better experience than what Amanda provided for my daughter. She spoke to her throughout the entire process like an adult, what was happening and educating her long the way. Thank you for such an incredible moment/memory in not only my daughter’s life but in mine ! 2 months later her ears look beautiful and healed/healing so well!

I went to Odi Diaz because he had done a friend of mines sleeve that I really liked prior to Odi moving to Colorado and then back here. Odi and I met back on April 26th for a consultation for a Japanese Tattoo Sleeve that would cover up some existing tattoos of mine. We met, I paid a deposit, and scheduled appointments. Before my first appointment, he contacted me and said we would need to do an additional session so he could white wash out my existing tattoos because he felt that after drawing his design, it wouldnt cover well. I agreed, and I met him and we spent 3 hours with him going over my tattoos with tan and white ink to make them more faded. I paid him in full for that session. We had our next tattoo scheduled for tomorrow, June 8th. He contacted me last night with the new drawing (the original one he suggested wouldnt really work well so I said I would be fine with changing it to something very different). When he sent me the new drawing last night, I said I liked it, but I wanted him to make a change to the face of the dragon (something previously discussed with reference photos and he said it would be just fine to make that change). When I asked him to do what we agreed upon 4 weeks ago, he told me last night that it isnt his style, that I am frustrating him, and I need to go find another tattoo artist. I told him fine after some back and forth telling him I wasnt trying to be disagreeable, but just wanted what me and him agreed upon. I said I would go elsewhere. I told him that I paid him a deposit and that he needs to return it because he is choosing to not do the work. He is telling me he will not return the deposit, and that since he drew my tattoo already, that he is keeping it, despite the fact that he was the one who cancelled our work. Its insane the lengthy unhinged messages this guy sent me through Facebook messenger claiming I was trying to change his style and that I was wasting his time. I have screen shots of all the super long messages he blasted me with, the paper copy of my appointment/deposit slip, bank transactions showing I paid that deposit and paid him in full for our first session. I would be VERY careful about using Odi. I cant speak for the other artists. Ive only heard good things about Tiph over there. Buyer beware.

This place was wonderful, got my helix piercing done finally. Jerrikah was awsome and explained the process perfectly. The piercing hasn’t swelled or turned red the entire time i’ve had it. Love it! And I’ll definitely be back!

Ive been working with Dave Dumont for a while now. He opened his new shop Lost art not that long ago, and I am so amazed with not only the shop itself, but the staff as well. The shop is beyond clean; its honestly the cleanest shop Ive been to. The staff greeted me as soon as I walked in the door, they were super helpful and made me feel super comfortable right off rip.Dave is an amazing tattoo artist, and I will 100% not see anyone else. His detail on all that tattoos Ive gotten from him are spectacular. I cannot rave enough about this shop, and the staff that work there. They will definitely be seeing more of me.

Jerrika was wonderful and gave me an amazing experience!!! I came in to get my ears re-pierced since the holes had closed up. Instead of just piercing my ears she took the time to re-open the existing piercings and put in new jewelry! Completely painless but I believe one did have to be re-pierced. I recently saw Jerrika for a nose (nostril) piercing and she was phenomenal. She was so kind and friendly! I went in about a week ago to get my septum pierced as my first piercing, but I ended up getting too stressed out and I had to leave, but I came back today. I cannot recommend Jerrika enough if you are looking for a new piercing. My sister and I were on a very tough trip and basically nothing went as planned. Jerrika was pretty much our last stop before heading out and she was just amazing. Shes very kind and gentle, and made me feel like it would never be a problem to reach out to her if I had any questions about my aftercare. She was able to address my concerns prior to the actual piercing, which I appreciated very much. Overall it was a great experience and I am very happy with the result :)

What a great experience I had at Niche Body Piercing. I had a pierced ear for over 50 years, but stopped wearing an earring a few years ago. Recently I decided to start wearing an earring again, but the hole had closed up, so I couldn’t get an earring in. I read all the reviews of the body piercing shops in Sarasota and was particularly impressed with Niche Body Piercing. The owner is a Registered Nurse, which was reassuring, as I am also an R.N., so I knew the shop would be using good sterile technique. Also, Jerrika had some exceptional reviews on Google, so I set up an appointment with her.I thought I was going to have to have my ear pierced again, but Jerrika wanted to see if she could open my previous piercing without having to pierce it again. Well, Jerrika was fantastic. She has a positive, friendly, welcoming personality that made me feel right at home. She was gentle and caring and clearly knew exactly what she was doing. Her sterile technique was flawless. I couldn’t believe it, but she was actually able to open up my previous piercing. No blood. No pain. What a relief. Really knowledgeable, clean, efficient, and helpful piercing studio. I emailed Lost Art while I was visiting family in Sarasota due to irritation around my nostril piercing that I have had for 10 years. They encouraged me to come in and I saw Jerrika who listened to me without judgment and affirmed my suspicions: that I was having an allergic reaction to the metal I had put in at another studio. She helped me pick out a new piece, taking care to make sure it was the right size and fit and replaced it for me and I loved how knowledgeable she was. Within hours my irritation went away and weeks later, my nostril piercing is back to happy and healthy. Highly recommend.

Highly recommend! Jerrika was very precise and explained everything she was doing. After I told her I eventually wanted to have a hoop in my nose she made sure the piercing was exactly where I wanted it to sit with a hoop, so it would be perfectly placed when I’m ready to switch to the hoop. And the shop is extremely clean!

My friends and I decided to spontaneously get a piercing. We walked in without appointments and they just happened to have time available. Jerrika was fantastic. Definitely recommend!! I’ve gone to Amanda for almost every piercing I have (a couple lobes, a rook and a helix). When I first went to her, I only had loose ideas about what I wanted to do, but she really worked with me to figure out the best placements for all of them. I also had some messed up lobe piercings from when I was a kid and she had no problem taking the time to create something really cool with the space! It’s obvious she not only knows what she’s doing but that she cares so much about it. The shop is clean, she’s extremely friendly and she’ll help you every step of the way. I was pierced by Manda back in December of 2021. This was my first ever professional piercing (I’ve done all my own at home- BAD I know) and I couldn’t have been more pleased with my experience!! She was very understanding and informative from the very beginning. She always explained what step she would be performing next and why so I was calm and comfortable. I live over an hour away and will only go see her, or recommend her, for piercings from now on!100/10 ! She was also very quick during the actual piercing and it was over before I knew it! Manda pierced my nostril, shes a sweetheart. she spent about twenty minutes measuring the new piercing to make sure it would be symmetrical with my other nostril piercing. Her and Jerika (her apprentice) did a great job, given that they were dealing with scar tissue from the previous piercing I had in the same area. Amanda and Jerrika are both amazing piercers who really love what they do. You can see the love they have for their work & respect for the art. The salon is clean, sterile & still welcoming.Amanda is highly experienced & knowledgeable. She has done dozens of piercings on me and my friends over the years - from nostrils, septum’s, all sorts of cartilage to nipples — all have healed wonderfully. Everyone has been beyond happy when she is done. She has an eye for placement & jewelry. She is very concencious when it comes to measurements and making sure jewelry is sized appropriately to the individual. As someone who doesn’t always fit the “standard“ sized jewelry I appreciate her individual approach. To often you see a one size fits all approach which has backfired on me in the past. And left me extremely hesitant to do anymore piercings.. Until I had such a positive experience with Amanda— now I can’t wait to see what I’ll pierce next. She is very honest and transparent about healing and anatomy & is always ready to answer any questions & walk you though the healing process. She doesn’t just do a piercing- she sticks with you through healing, jewelry options and any problems/ questions/ lost jewelry etc.It’s been amazing watching Jerrika grow as a piercer under Amandas mentorship. Jerrika started with helix piercing on me some time ago & has done so well I trusted her and Amanda to tag team several sets of nipples for me and a group of friends. Everyone was thrilled with the results. She recently tackled my forward helix & absolutely killed it. She takes on a challenge like a champ & is eager to learn. Amanda is patient and observant while teaching making sure everything is done right. She doesn’t rush & makes sure everything is explained clearly and properly.You can trust they only use high quality implant grade jewelry & are very good about disinfecting / sanitizing between clients. As someone who has allergies to cheap metal & had trouble healing piercings in the past these are ALL must haves IMO. I’m neurotic and I can say everything is sparkling clean! 13/10 highly recommend. The BEST place to get piercings in the area for sure.
