Oddity Tattoo Art University

Ive been coming here a year now. Ive gotten four tattoos done total, and theyve all turned out exactly how I wanted. They do solid work, clean lines, and are worth every penny. I think they have great prices. Everyone is really nice and fun to work with. The place is super clean (and smells really nice) and very professional. I highly recommend Kim!!

Ryleigh was great. The henna/mandala design she came up with was well thought out and executed. I get many compliments and have absolutely no hesitation about immediately recommending her. I will definitely be going back when I figure out what I want tattooed next.

I got my first tattoo here with Ryleigh Elise, and I could not be happier! I talked to her over instagram about what kinda tattoo I wanted and sent her some pictures I liked and discussed what I liked and what I didn’t, and when I came in it was exactly what I had in mind. It’s healed up now and I’m so happy with how it came out and I will definitely be coming back for more!

The experience I had at Oddity Tattoo UTC was amazing! First off Ashley who took my call and helped to fit me in to the shops busy schedule was so professional and accommodating. The shops manager Will decided that my particular circumstance and art project was something he would take on himself on what I believe was his day off. I left the shop after a several hour tattoo session with exactly what I was hoping for. An amazing piece of Will’s art and a great tattoo experience.

Manny was awesome! My daughter and I made an appt with him for mother/daughter tattoos. Slightly different tattoos but that still correlated. He spent time with us making sure that we got exactly what we wanted while covering the pros and cons of our possible choices. This was my daughters first tattoo and he walked her through the entire process. Once he started, she was super calm right to the very end. Can’t say enough about how great he was!

Will is one of the best tattoo artists I have ever been to! He has done multiple tattoos for me and is always professional and friendly and takes your thoughts and ideas into consideration and lends a professional perspective when asked! This last time was no different! Thank you to Will and oddity tattoo for an awesome experience!

Will has been my artist for a number of sessions now and the art he has been able to add to my back is nothing short of a gift. Came in yesterday to get a tattoo and i just want to recognize Josh for not only being very genuine and real as a person but with his work as well!! he made sure everything was how i wanted it and simply took his time and didn’t rush. wonderful guy and artist within himself to say the least !! thank you again Josh for the amazing experience as i will be back in sept for my touch up on my half sleeve !! and very happy with how my tattoo turned out, Im obsessed already !!

My friend and I were in the area for the weekend. We both ended up getting tattoos. I had been wanting one for 7 years since the stillbirth of my first grandchild. So when he said he was going for a tattoo, I said I would go too. We asked a local for a recommendation and they recommended Oddity. We were not disappointed. They squeezed us in on a Saturday in between appointments (both of our tattoos were small). Manuel was patient sketching out different styles of my tattoo. This is a great shop and I would definitely recommend them. Check them out online and look at the art!

Manny created an absolute MASTERPIECE…I’m absolutely blown away, my new favorite tattoo by far! If you want detailed faces, I couldn’t recommend Manny more. He created a Roman philosophy sleeve for me, and really put in the work researching each philosopher to truly bring it to life ! Very Professional and made the experience very comfortable. If you’re looking for a tattoo artist who is a storyteller with their art and not just a renderer, colorist, or trend chaser, then head to the Oddity Shop near University and ask for Will Ralston. You’ll be working with a craftsman who understands the possibilities of black and white and what could or shouldn’t be in the scene. He’s an excellent listener who will sit with you and begin sketching right away. True artist. If he wasn’t doing this, he’d be on his back on a scaffold, painting the vaulted ceiling of a 12th century cathedral. This would be before he was banned and sent to the Night’s Watch for having painted something so intense, so taboo, so radical that people went blind. Highly recommended.

I just had some work done @ Oddity Tattoo on University and I am extremely happy with the ink. Josh G is an absolute rockstar. He took an older tattoo I had and gave it new life! Awesome work young man you did a great job and I thank you and look forward to seeing you soon!

It is an impeccable studio, super clean and organized.This was my second visit and like the first it was a very satisfactory experience. Manny did a great job on my tattoo! I brought him and idea for a minimalistic teaton mountain tattoo and he made it a reality better than I expected it to be! My mom and I got very very last minute tattoos before I traveled back from visiting out of state. I’ve lived in the area prior and knew Oddity to be one of the best shops around, I was so pleased to hear they opened a third location. Our artists and the staff were so helpful and understanding, we left with exactly what we wanted! So incredibly thankful the shop was able to squeeze us in, as they’re highly sought after!

I can’t say enough good things about this shop and its employees. We visit this location while on vacation and decided we wanted to get tattoos. I called the shop to see if they would be able to accommodate and they went out of their way to make time for us. Ashley - the receptionist was great about getting my contact info and confirming details. Manny - the tattoo artist was patient when going over our designs and was extremely friendly. The entire atmosphere of the shop was very welcoming and we loved the design/energy. I would highly recommend visiting their shop and will absolutely go back if we’re ever in the area again.

Found this spot on google and just tried it! All went well. Nice shop, great lighting and my artist, Will, was great! Pricing is reasonable and they are very communicative throughout the whole process. Worth a visit for sure! I love SRQ and cant wait to be back in town!

I was very happy that was able to work with Monti (Jason Monteneri) at the UTC location. I had 3 coverups to do on 25 year old plus tattoos. One on each upper arm and one on the top of my back. I was not even really certain what I wanted to do, but Monti helped me cycle through some of my ideas. He was very patient and I really like the ideas we came up with. I had 3 different sessions to do these and I cannot be happier. He is great with color. Everyone I have shown loves my updates that Monti created for me. If you like to talk, Monti can and if you want quiet, that can happen to, but I really enjoyed some of the banter during the process. Hes a great guy and very talented. Going to have to go back and get another one from him soon, non coverup!! Oh yea, he did small Buffalo Bills on my leg too, but I want some others! I posted the before and after. Thank you, Monti!

HUGE shoutout to Ashley and Manny at the University location! Ashley is extremely communicative and friendly, always makes me feel really comfortable. I’ve had multiple services done by her and she is always thorough, informative, highly skilled, and she makes you feel like a friend not a client.Manny was the artist I used for the start of a half sleeve. I went to him with an idea and scattered thoughts and he was able to make sense of it and design a piece that I love. Just like Ashley, he was highly skilled and friendly, and I get more compliments on that tattoo than any other one I have.Highly highly recommend them both!!

This is the second tattoo that my friend and I got here together. They are so friendly and accommodating, making sure we’re either done at the same time or involved with each others. Manny tattooed the most beautiful heart with a sunset inside on my forearm a sentimental piece to my friend Ashley who passed. This is where i got my first tattoo and they were so kind and person that did mine eased me into it and it was overall a great experience.

Our family has used Oddity several times over the course of the last 10 or so years. Unfortunately this time we went in due to a family tragedy and six of us wanted to get matching memorial tattoos. The entire staff at the UTC location was absolutely amazing, from dealing with scheduling, to design, and the tattoos themselves. Our artist Ron was simply the best. He hung in there over four hours tattooing 6 different people. Ashley was more then helpful scheduling us and looking at the design we wanted. We will never use any other tattoo parlor period. As a matter of fact one of our party has another appointment scheduled again later this month.

Love my new back piece from Will Ralston at oddity tattoo and looking forward to how he can make a what others would call a finished tattoo and he says 60% finished tattoo even better. I already have had so many compliments on the detail! I will also continue to travel from Tennessee to call Will Ralston my one and only artist from here on!!! Thanks Will!!!

What an awesome experience going in to Oddity today! The atmosphere is awesome with the different art on the walls and the service was some of the best Ive had from any shop.Ron did a Memorial tattoo for my dad and it is perfect and he is super fast and talented.The shop is super clean and follows all health guidelines for sure.I encourage you to give them a call and set something up if you are in the area.

I had a great experience at Oddity Tattoo Art University!! The people there were great and did such a great job on my tattoo. The white ink butterfly came out just how I wanted it! Absolutely wonderful place with fantastic artists. Was very happy to get my first ever tattoo from such a kind establishment who truly cares about their customers. I remember walking in not knowing at all how a tattoo worked and just showed a picture to Ron, the amazing artist who made my dream tattoo become a reality, and it was like he knew exactly what I wanted without even asking. Not only that, they were also very respectful about my price range and still gave me a wonderful piece of artwork even though I requested a price cap. Very clean and sanitized establishment as well; they take all COVID regulations seriously. Really couldn’t have asked for anything better for my first ever tattoo experience!

While I have gotten several tattoos at the Main Street Oddity, I followed Will Ralston to the new University location to handle part two of a half-sleeve piece on my upper arm. First of all, the shop is beautiful! While the exterior signage makes it a little tough to find (but only the first time), the interior is modern, immaculate, and full of dramatic artwork. (Wait till you see the bathroom, which is adorned with an incredible octopus mural by Will!) He is a true artist: his artwork is gorgeous and skilled, and he really brings the concept to life on skin. He is also very friendly as well as considerate about asking if youre OK or if you need a break. Im thrilled with my new ink and getting tons of compliments wherever I go. Highly recommend Oddity if youre considering a new tattoo!

It was my first tattoo, so I was nervous of course! Rons over the top enthusiasm made me feel at ease right away! Every person who saw my tattoo said he did such an amazing job capturing my late husbands signature. I would highly recommend!!!!

I got tattooed here by Jason (Monti). His artwork was incredible, he brought my vision to life better than I could have imagined! It was a sternum piece, so he kept making sure I was comfortable in terms of being exposed but also in terms of pain. I highly recommend them. The studio is both clean and modern. I have never been to a tattoo shop that is so well kept.

This shop is awesome! As well as their other shops. Very professional, clean, and just all around great vibes.They were able to get us in last minute to do a tattoo while we were in town. My husband and i wanted to get the same piece to commemorate his 9 month deployment and everyone was so helpful in squeezing my husband and I into an appointment , especially Ashley! Oddity Tattoo has some of the best artists in the area. Will Ralston is who I am working with, but in my many sessions with Will Ive seen work done by many of the other artists; and they are all amazing. Ive gotten work done at both the Main St. location and the University location. Both are nice, but here at the University location it has a really cool open flow and a decent view outside when getting work done. If youre looking for true artists, this is the place to go. I couldnt be happier with the art work Ive gotten done here!

Absolutely the best thing I have ever done. This is my first tattoo and I am older. Jason Monti Monteneri is such an unbelievable artist. He made me feel very comfortable as I wasnt sure what to expect. My beloved dog of 13 years passed away and I decided to have a tattoo of him. He did a perfect job of an exact picture of my Kubby Bear doggie. All the artists are very professional and I would recommend this place to everyone and of course, Jason Monteneri is the best!

I had my first ever tattoo done today at the University location. The artist was Audrey. She was able to capture exactly what I wanted! Equally as important, she was kind and comforting. Audrey prepared a small memorial tattoo for me on my wrist in honor of my mother and brother that both passed away last year. Today is the one year anniversary of my mothers passing. Audrey handled my emotions with the outmost professionalism and true kindest! Thank you Audrey!

Oddity studio off of UTC is awesome!!! Ive had the pleasure of working with Will for six years followed him to this shop love all my pieces hes done. This last time Aleasha did a piece on my thigh I was super nervous getting ink on my leg, she was super calming helped my nerves. Aleasha was so light handed the line work was a breeze she went over home care and was very helpful. I definitely recommend Oddity on UTC to anyone looking for a tattoo theyre professional clean and just overall the vibe is awesome!

From the minute I walked in Ashley was awesome! I knew what I wanted but no idea how to put it together. She did some quick googling and showed me a few ideas. When I got there for my scheduled appointment (which was only 4 days later) with Ronnie, I totally changed my mind and had a small special request... without hesitation Ronnie got to work and like 4 print outs later he nailed it! He also agreed to my special request without hesitation! I thought that was that. Thanked them and went on my way. A week later... a check up email from Ashley asking how I was and if I needed anything! Mind blown! Love these peeps! Oddity tatto was very helpful and very mindful when it came to my tatto, making sure I know how the aging process is, the tatto process, and basically what you need to know, very professional, straight to it, and good and fair prices, loved my forearm tatto and definitely will be looking forward to getting another tatto with them!

I had my first ever tatoo done last week at Oddity on University. I wanted a female artist, and was glad that they had two on site. The studio was very clean, with good vibes, relaxed and professional at the same time. The artist who took care of me was Audrey. She was kind, patient, soft with the machine and good at making my wish happen. My tatoo is the signature of my sister, who recently passed away. She replicated the signature perfectly, but more importantly realized the importance of the moment for me and did not shy away from connecting with me about it. I really appreciated the experience, and her way of being present and showing interest while serving my project. I felt comfortable and in trust. Very grateful I had such an experience. Also, I have to add that I did not experience any pain after the tatoo was done, which I understand is proof of an artist being gentle. Thank you so much.

It was been 11 years since my one and only tattoo. I got my newest tattoo done by Aleasha Last week at the University location and she made me feel sooo comfortable. She is extremely sweet and so accommodating. Can’t wait for the next one!
