Anonymous Tattoo

My husband and I came to Savannah for our honeymoon which was during hurricane Debby. We randomly walked into Anonymous Tattoo (thinking it was a bar and trying to escape the storm), which was about to close from how bad the storm got. We have been talking about getting matching Mt. Etna tattoos since that is where he proposed, and thought it would be cool to add a hurricane feature to help represent our story. My artist was Paul and my husband’s was Ricky, and this was the best spur of the moment decision we’ve ever made! Our tattoos are so beautifully done and we’re so grateful that they stayed opened and embraced the storm with us!

Stopped in on a rainy day to pass the time with a tattoo. I think my guy was Nick and not sure the guys name that done my wife. Everyone was awesome, polite, and extremely talented and knowledgeable. I have 5 Tats, and this place is definitely in my top of list best.

Paul did a great job with the tattoo! They were really friendly, clean and even set up screens for privacy. They absolutely handle walk-ins as that’s what this was!

My son, my Niece and I all visited for the first time yesterday and could not have had a better experience. The shop is large, bright and clean. It was a great atmosphere. The artists were all very nice and made sure that we were comfortable during our visit and the pricing was very fair. We will definitely be back.

Traveling in from Ohio and a friend had used this shop before. Reached out to an artist a month prior and ended up with an amazing custom piece. Lines are precise and steady. Go to Olivia and you wont be disappointed.

I really loved this place. Me and three of my friends got tattoos with Olivia and she was amazing. This is my first tattoo, so I was kind of nervous, but she made me feel super comfortable. I would 100% go back if Im ever in Savannah again. Everyone was really cool, plus the view inside the building was beautiful.

I got my first ever (two) tattoos from Olivia this week. She is unbelievable. The artwork is amazing and she took such good care of me. She’s meticulous and kind.

A few girlfriends and I walked into this shop to try and get a quick piece while we were in town for my bachelorette party. While I can understand that getting lots of walk-ins and dealing with annoying groups can be obnoxious, the person at the front desk was extremely rude and seemed irritated with us immediately upon arrival. He had short blonde hair and a septum piercing. He was unreasonably condescending. He is the sole reason we left and did not get tattooed. Super disappointed.

This is the only Id get a tattoo if I wanted another tattoo in Savannah. I was a little nervous being Ive only been to one tattoo parlor where I live. But this place is awesome! Ricky(owner or manager) did my Rose and came out really good. Jason did my wifes and she loved it. Thanks guys for making our honeymoon even better!!

Walked in on a Saturday for matching tattoos with a family member. Everyone was SO nice and welcoming. We were in and out with beautiful tattoos by Paul in a little over an hour!

Really friendly people there. The building is very cool with its winding stairs at the entrance and a nice open studio with clean stations and a comfy lounge. I came here for my first tattoo along with my wife. We were able to walk in without an appointment (we called first) and get two small tattoos designed and done the same day. Its been a week and the tattoos still look great. Highly recommend coming here.

Cant say enough about the experience here. Walked in with a design that I wanted. It wasnt complicated but the placement I wanted turned out to not be the best. They were super pleasant and explained why I should probably consider a different design or different placement. (Everything Id read said its smart to listen to your artist if they recommend something different).Spent a little bit more time adjusting the design based on their recommendations and then went back a couple hours later. They got me and my wife in for both our tattoos right away and we couldnt be more satisfied. Paul was our artist and he did a fantastic job. Very patient and accommodating.Cant recommend highly enough.

Came to town yesterday and decided to start the trip with a tattoo for fun. My partner and I were greeted with killer music and good atmosphere, plus super friendly staff. We set an appointment for a couple hours later with Paul. Honestly, expecting quick bangers, but blown away by the time and detail that went into his work. Friendly, easy to talk to and made the experience in the shop worth coming back up for more when it’s time. We will be back. Thank you Paul!

Took my daughter and mom (87 & first tattoo) to get matching tattoos. We had a picture of what mom wanted. Could not have asked for better service. And they treated my mom like she was their g’mom too!!

I can’t explain how amazing our experience was. Paul was great. And our tattoos were beyond expectation! The place is super clean. I will make the 4 hour drive here for now on just to get tattoo work done!

They do a really great job here! We usually come here for our Anniversary my husband and I. Dom was really friendly and professional about the design and placement of my design. Also my husband tattoo artist was really talented and patient with his design. Would recommend anyone to come here.

My fiancé and I had been wanting to get matching tattoos for a while. We decided that we would do it while we were on vacation down in Savannah. We scheduled our appointment with Jason Beck in advance, since he books out a bit. We chose him after doing some research and looking at a lot of his work. What a great choice we made! Jason is knowledgeable, thorough and has a great personality. We were both beyond thrilled with the outcome of out tattoos. He does incredible work with really clean lines and great shading. His attention to detail and love for what he does shows in his work. We have been getting compliments nonstop and people inquiring as to where we had our work done. We will most definitely be making him our go-to for any tattoos in the future. As for the shop itself… it was clean and laid back with a pretty chill vibe. Definitely a cool, well decorated space.

I’ve received multiple tattoos from Anonymous and I keep going back.The shop, parallel to the Savannah river, is located on E Bay St. At around 200 years old, it possesses the architectural character and historical stylings for which Savannah is renowned.The studio itself is located on the second floor with 25-30 ft ceilings and multiple skylights. Paired with ten foot windows leaves it beaming with natural light; reflecting off white painted walls with an open floor plan.The shop has energy. That’s really the best way I can describe it. The artists all seem to get along well and are extremely helpful and communicative when dealing with customers. There’s no feeling of gatekeeping or a “holier than thou” attitude at this shop.It truly is a representation of a dying breed of tattooing and Anonymous has earned a legacy that many shops can only strive for.

Decided to get my first tattoo in Savannah on a day trip, and Paul did a small detailed rose on my hip. He was excellent in making me feel calm and safe during it, as well as did a damn good job on the tattoo itself. Fairly priced as well!

Ive had two tattoos done here and people always tell me how much they like them. The guys that work here will be honest and help you figure out how best to get your tattoo idea done well.

I have to be honest: I did not have a good experience here. I arrived an hour and a half before close, and got a simple, small piece. The lady behind the counter was such a treat, and very easy to talk to. Jason, my artist, was not, unfortunately. I hate writing negative reviews, but I left this walk-in crying from my experience. I felt he was very irritated for some reason, and that he was projecting it onto me from the start. He also raised his voice at the customers walking in the door because there were so many in the room at once, which I thought was unprofessional. While I was showing Jason where on my arm I wanted the stencil, he proceeded to essentially slap it down in a completely different spot, ignoring what I said. And when I told him I would like it in a different spot, if that was ok, he replied, Well, I would have to redo the stencil.... Implying he really didnt want to do that. But this is something that is going to be on my body forever, so I wanted it to be correctly placed. I felt bad that he had to redo the stencil, but it isnt my fault that he didnt listen to me the first time around. I also just wanted to say, I have about 30 tattoos. I handle them very well, Ive never had a tattoo I cant handle. This was a very small piece, and it was excruciatingly painful. I felt as if he was being heavy handed on purpose towards me because he was annoyed by me. He also proceeded to wipe me dry the entire time. I felt as though this was all very wrong. He also did not say a word to me through the entire tattoo. I felt very upset, and as I said, I cried as soon as we left. I didnt want to cause a scene about anything, but I sort of regret not saying anything. I genuinely dont think I would ever go back here if I ever find myself in Savannah again. I love my tattoo, but the experience was the worst I have ever had.

My sister and I had tatto done by Spencer. He took our idea and made it a reality. The atmosphere was very professional, yet welcoming. The cleanliness was five stars alone. It was wait because we were walk ins, but those that look to have appointment were taken care of upon arrival. And Henry was the best. Very informative and one of the best host Ive seen in a long time. They may want to offer bottled water for their clients, but other than that I would use and recommend them when I am in the area and desiring a new tat.

Olivia slapped on two back to back tattoos for me. Shes a treasure, and such a down to earth person. Staff was very professional and the studio is very clean, with a stellar vibe and view of Savannah.

Received a custom piece from Shaun Beaudry and the whole experience was exceptional. Working with Shaun to turn my idea into reality through his style was as easy as it gets. I gave full trust to him and he created a piece 10x better than I ever expected. This was also my first tattoo, so I was a tad nervous, but Shaun and the entire atmosphere of the shop was very understanding. Ill definitely be coming back for my next!

Awesome people! I went to Anonymous for my first tattoo and these people here are incredible! Completely honest with you and will help you in any way they can. I have found the only place Ill go to for tattoos now, and we have already made more appointments for next week! Definitely come here, especially If youre looking for a place to get your first tattoo. Chris did mine and he is great! As well as the others.

Been here twice and will continue to do so. Friendly staff and amazing artists. Shop was very clean with relaxed atmosphere. Artist I had was very friendly and very experienced. He worked with me to draw up a design and tattoo it the same day. Turned out great, love this place!

First impression of the shop itself was very cool. Great atmosphere. Manager was very nice and even gave me a little info on why I should change my placement if the tattoo. I was told that they will definitely be able to get me in the next day (they were closing in the next hour) since it would only take 2 minutes for my small tattoo, and to just give them a call ahead of time.When I called the next day within the first hour they opened (and spoke to the same manager) I was told that there was no way they could fit me in, that they were booked solid and not even the day after. I wish they would’ve been more upfront about that in the beginning.

Really love the look of this shop. The guys were super friendly for the most part. My wife and I came to get matching tattoos one night and I got mine done and it lasted about 15 minutes and it turned out great.My wife’s on the other hand lasted for like 4 or 5 minutes and turned out not as good looking. My wife asked the guy if she could get the design a little smaller than what mine was and he said yeah but you will regret it, but she didn’t think she would and that’s what she wanted was something a little smaller and the tattoo artist seemed a little frustrated that he had to print out a different size and so I feel like he rushed her tattoo and made it not look as good as it could have been... but it’s all about the customer.

Walked in front desk came across very pretentious upon looking at tattoo styles. It seemed American traditional, and Tracy. No actual artist in there would not recommend it as the only thing they know how to do a simple lined American traditional.

They did an amazing job on my tattoo. crisp, clean lines, and a friendly service. made me feel very comfortable. the artist who did mine was Dean Denney so i highly recommend you ask for him. i have no complaints. i will go to him for all of my future tattoos.

I was absolutely blown away by my experience here. I live out of town, and as this was my first tattoo, I had a good deal (and probably obnoxious number) of questions. Dean was awesome and supportive, giving his advice and letting me know what would look the best through email. When I came into the studio, I was even more impressed. I would never have imagined that I could call a tattoo studio beautiful, but Anonymous is just that. Its clean and welcoming, and I felt right at home. My tattoo was small, so it didnt take long at all. My tattoo was beautiful the day I got it, and it healed quickly. I have a few more tattoos planned, and I wont be going anywhere but here.

I have a few tattoos but the one I got here was by far the best. The shop itself is clean and in a cool historic building. I got great feedback on my design ideas and great advice for aftercare. James/Jamie is a phenomenal artist and I will go out of my way to come back for my next one despite the fact that I dont live in the area.

Got a woodcut style tattoo from Ricky. Easily the best experience Ive ever had getting work done. Im not really sure of the exact techniques used but the experience was virtually painless and healed much faster than any other tattoo Ive gotten without any degradation in quality or style. If youre in the Savannah area and want to get high quality work done this would be my number one choice.

I had an appointment today with Jason. I had a tattoo on my stomach that was poorly done (and horrendously off center) by another artist at a different shop. Jason was awesome at coming up with a design to make the existing tattoo appear more center, as well as reworking the existing tattoo. He was very friendly, very sterile, patient, and overall quite the professional. 11/10, would recommend.

My husband and I stopped by to see if they take walk ins , they were all super nice and helpful. They were able to tattoo us both. Paul did mine, which was not a small tattoo, and he did an amazing job!

Took a friend in for their first tattoo. Ricky was great! We brought in a drawing with personal meaning, and Ricky did a great job in keeping to the original! Many questions were asked and Ricky explained all answers clearly. The entire shop was clean, relaxed and inviting. The staff was friendly and accommodating. I will be going in to add to my own ink and will recommend this shop to anyone looking to add ink or get their first piece.

Me and my boyfriend wood we’re visiting from Florida and decided to get a tattoo, we happened to find anonymous tattoo and I’m beyond happy that we did. The whole environment and experience was amazing, all of the artists seemed to work so well with each other and really made an excellent team of incredible artists. We will be returning to Savannah just to get tattooed there again!

My wife and I were celebrating our 15th anniversary recently and on a whim we decided to get matching tattoos. The staff (specifically Andy and Jamie) did every thing they could to help us out and squeeze us into a spot. It was my wifes first tattoo and they worked with her and all of her questions and ended up helping us come up with an awesome tattoo. My wife has always been skeptical of the tattooing process but these guys won her over. Thank you!!

(FYI: Im a chick, despite the name...)I needed a cover-up for a 15 year old small, failed tattoo on my lower abs. I booked Zack and gave him the following instructions: it cant be bigger than 4.5 inches, must be organic, feminine, and pretty (nothing evil or wicked) and with an Art Nouveau sensibility. Pretty specific, right? Zack NAILED it! I got the most beautiful tattoo Ive ever seen: a stylized peacock feather with lots of movement & color. It looks like its iridescent & blowing in the wind. STUNNING! And theres no indication that a tattoo exists underneath! Further, I had a REALLY great experience. This is where to go for your custom tattoo, but prepare to wait; these guys stay booked for weeks to months in advance. Yes, theyre that good.

Incredible work! Walked in for a special tattoo of my grandmas wiring and got an appointment later in the day. Artist was super kind, clean/sanitary & did incredible work! Thin line, no blow outs - perfection!!!

Went with a friend and was not very pleased with what was told to her. One of the artists had flat out told her that the tattoo she wanted would not look good with her skin color and said the design had too much detail to his liking, then proceeded to try and convince her to get something else. The tattoo artist was not a very good representation of the store and we will definitely not be going again. I also would not recommend going here if you have tan or darker skin

I asked for a design to be drawn up for me and the artist informed me that I would only be able to see it the day of our tattooing appointment. I asked him if there would be hard feelings if I didnt want to get the design the same day I saw it for the first time and he promised me there wouldnt be any.Unfortunately, thats exactly what happened. The tattoo design was beautiful and I was excited about it, but I had some concerns with the size (half-sleeve). I asked to reschedule the appointment for sometime in January and the artist became angry and told me I could get my tattoo somewhere else. They also took my deposit.

Best tattoo shop in all of Savannah. Would recommend this location to anyone trying to become a tatty daddy. All tattooers are skilled artists, dedicated to the art of pumping ink into your skin.

Clean shop, great location in the city. Artist are awesome, had two tattoos done here in a year span. One thing that makes me sad, that it cant be helped, is theyre book quickly. So get your appointments in for these professionals!

The male tattoo artist here was very unprofessional and very rude when I asked him if he would do my tattoo. He said that the tattoo I wanted would look dirty on me because of my skin tone. I just walked out after that. I WOULD NEVER recommend someone getting tattooed here.

They dont do them, but they chose to be helpful & friendly, when they couldve jus told us they only do tats.When time came to get a new tat on our anniversary, Spencer did an outstanding job. My tattoo is not finished but i can say that my artist is doin an awesome job even if its not the tattoo that i had in mind, hes doing whatever he want pretty plus hes taking his time on it n my pocket its hurting.
