REALISTIC TATTOOS BY FRANKIE LAMBOUGH

I had a very disappointing experience with Frankie and Jackie. After paying a deposit for a tattoo, I was later informed that the artist needed a medical procedure that directly affects his ability to give tattoos. Despite their written promise to refund my deposit, I never received it. To make matters worse, they remain unresponsive and continue to ignore and block my repeated attempts to contact them. This lack of professionalism and failure to honor their commitments is unacceptable. I do not recommend anyone use this artist or trust their questionable business operations. The art is probably great, but dont trust this place will follow through for you.

From the time you walk in to the speakeasy like environment, you will realize you are getting more than a great tattoo! If you haven’t been here yet, you are missing out on Savannah’s best artist and a good time. This is a professional place that does high end work.

Last Friday night I was in Savannah and called so many tattoo shops because I was looking for 2 script name tattoos, as a walk in!Definitely a Spur of the moment type of chick.Anyway I called and was on the phone with the sweetest women who informed me Dan “The Man” would take great care of me.The location was easy to find and the atmosphere is amazing.Right after I got the names finished, I immediately booked a unicorn T-Rex tattoo for my thigh that following Wednesday.After tat #2 you are considered family and to be honest Jacque (owner) and Dan (my artist) made me feel so welcome and at home. I recommend this shop and know for sure everyone is amazing and in good spirits.Definitely ask for Dan The Man if possible.

Awesome experience! Billy out did himself and went above and beyond my expectations! My image in my head was blown out of the water with the final tattoo I left with! Highly recommend and will tell everyone about ACME Tattoo! Thank you for a outstanding experience!!

****Tattoo artist Rich ten stars!****I had the absolute pleasure of having Rich as my tattoo artist. He was amazing, thorough, talented, patient, welcoming and overall had great vibes. Rich tattooed three of us back to back, to which he remained professional the entire time. I’ll definitely be seeing Rich again in the future.**Shop owners**As far as the tattoo shop itself, upon arrival everything was cool. The speakeasy concept is really dope and the vibes inside the shop were great. However as the night progressed the shop owners were slowly making my friends and I uncomfortable. Frankie and Jackie made some unnecessary comments (our tattoos, our music choices, us being quiet), which we brushed under the rug because we were all hanging out waiting our turns to get tattooed by RICH. Then Jackie was behaving a bit unprofessional towards Rich in front of us. And at the end of the night I was saying thank you to Rich and Jackie screamed “you’re welcome” in my face. Which was rude because I wasn’t speaking her.

I greatly recommend checking out this tattoo studio for your next piece of artwork! They were kind enough to take in my friend and I for a last minute tattoo. We had vague ideas for what we wanted to get, and the artists (Rob and Tyler) amplified our ideas and made them better than we could have imagined. Not only were the artists really kind and talented, but the owners were also engaging and made us feel at home. We will definitely come back here for our next tattoo! :)

Jackie was fantastic and worked with me to book from out of state during our trip to Savannah & helped reschedule, too. Josh is a boss! He was patient and chill and worked through tattoo design changes on short notice. Not to mention this parlour is so cool! Unlike any place I’ve ever been. Will always remember my trip to Savannah with the cherry on top being my experience with Acme tattoo!

If I could give more than 5 stars I would! My husband and I took a weekend trip to Savannah and decided we wanted tattoos while we were there. Acme Tattoo was able to work us in and Rob did an amazing job on our tattoos! Thank you to the super friendly staff for making our trip a memorable one! ❤️

I got my first and second tattoo here and it was a great experience! Rob tattooed me both times, he is super light handed and getting the tattoos didn’t hurt at all!

This place was the best tattoo shop Ive been to and Ive been going to different shops since 2005 in Savannah. Ive never been to one more than once due to many reasons.  I went as a walk in and I was in and out within 1 hour and my tattoo came out perfect. This was my first time going here and Ive already scheduled my next tattoo appointment with Rob for next week. Ive recommended this shop to a few people already.The whole vibe was so chill and relaxing. The owner was great. She was very friendly and personable. The guy (sorry I forgot your name) at the front was chill and friendly.He helped me find the location because Im not familiar with that area. He offered me something to drink and made me feel comfortable. Rob was really great. He took the time to hear my ideas without rushing me.  I was comfortable and completely relaxed the whole session. Rob will be my go to tattoo artist. I will also be returning to get a portrait done by Frankie. His work is amazing. I finally found a tattoo home. Go see for yourself how wonderful this place is.

Josh is a great artist and very accommodating. Jackie is an amazing owner and will do what she can to get you booked! As long as you communicate with them they will do whatever they can to get you in when you can. Thanks for the tattoo Josh and I look forward to working with you again!

Rich did an AMAZING job on my tattoo (pictured). This was my first tattoo and the experience as a whole was awesome! Barely even felt it and it looks great!

The whole vibe of the shop is amazing! I they took the time to really listen and look at my idea, as well as understand why I was so set on the details. The entire staff that I met were amazing and so nice! I felt so comfortable there which was very important for me after the experience I had with a different shop prior to having Acme recommended to me by a friend. Rob Littlejohn did a fantastic job and was able to stick with my original idea with only minor adjustments of placement so it was more cohesive! I will absolutely be back for other ideas I have!

The entire staff is incredible!! Monster is an amazing artist, my friend and I got matching tattoos and I am in love with them! Jacqueline and Monster were so generous with their time, getting us in last minute and super kind. Cant wait to go back! Super loved the atmosphere and energy 💜💜💜

Flew in from California for the weekend and was able to get a same day appointment! The speakeasy theme really made my Savannah experience feel so authentic. I had to take some photos of the inside for sure! Rich and other staff helped brainstorm my tattoo idea and we came up with something that was perfect for me. Rich was diligent in his work and my new tattoo is exactly what I was hoping for! I will be back one day!

Got tattooed by josh white. insanely talented fellow and he was really nice. the atmosphere of the shop was really cool and all the artists are talented and amicable. the shop was also very well kept and clean. would 100% come back and i highly recommend getting tattooed here.

Savannah is full of tattoo talent but ACME is a step above. In terms of communication and helpfulness they were fantastic. I went in with a budget and they stuck to it and now have an amazing tattoo to show for it.

Frankie’s tattoos are realistic and he tattoos in 3-D, the quality of his work is top notch the colors bright and I’ve never had any fading issues ever. He’s an award winning tattoo artist and it shows in his skills and cleanliness everything is top quality. The new shop is a MUST see and a MUST experience!

Rich did a hell of a good job on a full fill black ink. I have no scarring and the healing was a short process. I cant speak highly enough of the atmosphere that Is provided in the studio, really makes you feel at home. One of the best tattoo experiences Ive ever had. Thanks to everyone at Acme Tattoo!!!!

Frankie did an AMAZING job on my portrait of my dog. I have had so many compliments about how beautiful it is and how real she looks. He’s very professional and knowledgeable about his craft. I will definitely be going to him for future tattoos.

The staff is awesome. Real family like environment. Rich did my tat which was a lotus flower & infinite symbol. I LOVE it. Rich was very patient and caring considering I am a newby. Okay originally I left this shop a great review because the people were so nice and the atmosphere was great, but after sleeping on it I am so upset with the quality of this tattoo. Rich was SO KIND and worked really hard to make sure I had a design I liked, but he just lacks the skill needed to execute a clean tattoo. I WISH I was leaving a positive review, but my tattoo is BUSTED and now Im out $120 (including tip) and I need to find another artist to rework or cover it. I so badly wanted to be happy, but I couldnt be more upset about my tattoo. Other than the tattoo quality the shop is really cool and everyone is super nice.EDITING AGAIN to add that the shop owners have taken to texting me and harassing me because I left them an honest review. I have no ill will against the artist who did my tattoo, but the owner has done a complete 180 in the way shes been conducting business. Jackie texted me and said you have given me no choice but to file a grievance against your Google account all because I wouldnt change my review EVEN THOUGH while on the phone with her she said that I didnt need to change my review unless I wanted to. As a small business owner I honestly expected more from this shop. Jackie was so sweet and quickly became extremely unprofessional. (Please know this was originally a 3 star review, but has been changed due to the shop owners behavior towards me). Frankie decided that he would take it upon himself to slander me on my place of employments FB page. These shop owners are extremely unprofessional and I DO NOT recommend this shop to anyone.

Where do I begin? I enjoyed my experience at ACME Tattoo. I loved the home environment feeling and being able to watch a movie on tv while getting my tattoo made it even better. My tattoo artist Rich, was very professional and kind. He made sure that I was as comfortable as can be especially since it has been over 12years since I had one. And the art work speaks for itself. Thank you for making this experience a great one! I will definitely be back.Wanting to add, the healing process was flawless and no scaring!

Got a really fun piece from Sal today! I absolutely love it. The shop has an awesome history and atmosphere. Highly recommend. Sal is awesome and really works with you to make sure the tattoo is exactly what you’re looking for.

This shop is by appointment only, Rob was my artist he was very sweet and amazing and he was happy to do my artwork even though he specializes in neo-traditional artwork. Sami was the artist for my sister and my mom and she was also very kind and patient with all of us :)

Frankie did a nautical half sleeve cover up that many other artists were not interested in taking on. He turned a bad decision a long time ago into a masterpiece! I got a ship and lighthouse half sleeve. Frankie was very professional, punctual, and does a great job at realism tattoos. Highly recommend.

Frankie is amazing. Great guy, Amazing artist, and is a real people pleaser. Always a great time getting tattooed by Frankie. Hes the best realism artist in Savannah. I Constantly get asked who does my tattoos.

It’s like my tattoo artist, Sami, hopped in my brain to give me the exact tattoo I envisioned. I got referred here by my wife for my first tattoo and I was hella nervous and awkward because I was afraid it wouldn’t turn out how I imagined. The environment was so relaxed and Sami worked with me so much to make sure that I was comfortable. By the time we started, all the nerves were gone. I’ll definitely be back for more. Big thanks to Sami and all the staff. Better than I ever imagined.

Frankie did the a great job tattooing a lifelike Grim Reaper on my upper arm.He is the real deal in lifelike tats.I just booked with him to do a new masterpiece!Very Law Enforcement friendly. I would know!

The lack communication between staff. That then translates to miscommunication between artist and client. They also like to try and upcharge clients. I had a tattoo quoted and done. Management then said I had to pay more than I was quoted from the artist. They also kept my 100 dollar deposit after I had a booked a tattoo with an artist who left. I requested my money back and they wouldn’t give it back even tho I booked a tattoo with that specific artist. They then proceeded to call me a few times and ask for my business while bad mouthing the artist I was working with.

This place is insanely cool! Its designed to look like a speakeasy and gives off really chill vibes. The artists are amazing. Definitely would get my next tattoo here!

Monster was awesome! She drew up our ideas and made our tats unique. Super solid lines and color- plus the atmosphere was so laid back. We will definitely return!

Called to see if they were doing walkins. The owner answered and asked questions about the tattoo I wanted. That’s fine. I didn’t mind answering. She asked me a irrelevant question which I answered in one of the other MANY questions she asked and I was thinking of the answer. Once I was about to answer she said “Okay well you have a good night” and hung up. As a PAYING customer, that’s not how you treat someone calling to ask questions about your business. I wanted a tattoo and this will be the LASTTT shop I go to. THE OWNER IS RUDE AND DOESNT KNOW HOW TO CONDUCT BUSINESS. DO BETTER !!!! She said I made her look stupid. She def did that all on her own. Highly don’t recommend this shop !!!!!! UNPROFESSIONAL.

Frankie tattooed my Coosa mare on me. The tattoo is 5 years old and people still stop me to look at it. If you want a 3d tattoo that lasts, Frankie is the man!! Im loving the swanky vibe of the new shop.

I highly recommend Frankie he is by far the best artist out there!! Was really nervous about getting a neck piece but he has made it one of my easiest tattoos I have gotten over the years!

Owner/Manager is very unprofessional and rude. Me and my cousins called to inquire about walk-ins. She told us we could come in for something small and she asked what we wanted and we said a flower and she said flowers are large, and my cousin said no its not large and the manager assumed that she was being rude even though she answered her questions and hung up on us. I then called to talk to the manager who was then rude to me when I brought the situation to attention because she assumed I was the person she previously talked too. She said that we were rude and talking to her like she was stupid. She then said they were only taking appointments after she just told my cousin we could walk in, then she tried to say walk-ins are by appointment only which was a very stupid response so I hung up the phone. Following the phone call she decided that it was professional to personally text me saying Do not call us back! We are by appointment only. We will take walkins upon availability. We have the right to refuse service for any reason

The compliments I hear from the tattoos Ive gotten from Frankie are always overwhelming. Amazing realism and a terrific eye for detail results in the most amazing artwork.
