Very friendly couple! They are a customShop so I threw out some things about me and my family and Mr. Jake (the artist) came up with a design instantly. He did awesome work, took his time and didn’t rush. Miss Aniya is also a vibe. She was very informative and have lots of merchandise in the front of the shop you can purchase. I love the atmosphere and will be going back ❤️

I went in with an idea to make my preexisting tattoo better. And Big Jake walked me through what could be done. He helped me realize what I really wanted. And I couldnt be more impressed with the design. I have a few more sessions to go. There is a reason why they are booked out so far in advance. If you are serious, this is the place!🤘🤙

This place is amazing!!! The atmosphere is so calm and relaxed. The process getting started is very personal. The artist really gets to know what you’re looking to get, and takes a lot of time making sure it just right, and placement is perfect! I absolutely love how excited big Jake gets when he starts the whole process in getting to know what your getting to drawing it to running ink on skin! They are the best people here I will not go anywhere else! Love them!

Just got back from 2 years in Korea and a year in the sandbox before that. Ive been itching for a tattoo for a while now and let me tell you, it was worth the wait! I researched through numerous tattoo shops in the Savannah area, searching and reading reviews up and down. Tatlyfe had the most reviews, the best reviews and the best work from what I could see. I messaged the shop and Miss Aniya responded almost immediately. I explained my situation, that I just returned from overseas and that I was about to leave the Savannah area to make my way to my next duty station. She called me and explained the process and got me set up in no time with my idea. Most shops wouldve said no to getting me booked on such a short notice.Tattoo day: Big Jake took the time to get to know me and what my ideas were to collaborate and make a custom design. Within the hour he had the idea down on paper and was ready to begin. No pressure and no BS. Hands down, the best tattoo work and customer service Ive experienced. First thing I want to say is that the entire process of setting a budget and booking them appointment is super easy. Miss Aniya made everything so easy and was super helpful when when I had a ton of questions.On the day of booking I felt so welcomed when walking in just like I was family. Mind you I have gotten a tattoo 13 years ago but they still remembered me.The design process was simply amazing. All I really knew was that I wanted a half sleeve with samurai theme showing the warrior side as well as the soft side. We started looking at pictures and the Big Jake’s mind just started working its magic. Next thing I know we have a design that is amazing and hits on everything that I wanted but couldn’t put into words.The tattooing process was super easy and relaxed. Big Jake and I chatted a lot while watching Netflix. I felt super at home with them in there.I will say that the tattoo is not finished and I will go back in two weeks to finish (will update with pictures then), but even not finished the tattoo is more than I could have imaged or asked for.If you want a legit artist that can put your thought into an even better design then Big Jake is your man. Such an amazing tattoo shop run by 2 awesome people. From the first phone call with Aniya and consult with Jake to now my third session as of yesterday, it has been a great experience. I went in with just an idea and let Jake run with the rest and could not be happier. Cant wait to finish the piece were on to get started on the next. Getting my tattoo at tatlyfe studios has been a awesome experience. I have decided to go with a full sleeve on my left arm. When I first walked in I was greeted my Mrs. Aniya and I felt very comfortable as we went over the process. Then when my artist Big Jake came in to go over my tattoo, he was very talented and we were able to come up with a design in no time. I really look forward to finishing the sleeve and I highly recommend anybody wanting a tattoo to check them out!

I cannot say enough kind words about Tatlyfe studios. My husband and I went in nervous for our first tattoos and came out beyond pleased and plan to be back again.We knew essentially nothing about tattoos except a vague idea of what we wanted. They took the time to explain everything to us from the different styles to aftercare, etc.The 7 hour trip we took to visit this shop was beyond worth it and we are so unbelievably proud of and in love with the art that we left with that day.I got books in my tattoo and the detail is down to every single page. He took my vague ideas and sat down with me until we settled on something we were both excited for. My husband went in knowing he wanted a Nordic tattoo and left with an absolute masterpiece.Whether your 5 minutes away or hours away its worth it. They know what they are doing and arent going to let you leave with something you arent happy with.I am terrified of needles and not great with pain and while it did hurt they checked on me often and offered waters, etc. They even let my husband and I choose a movie to watch in the room to distract us. Of course a tattoo is going to hurt but their kindness and attitude made it more bearable than I feel any other shop could offer. It was quiet and sanitary and you werent being watched by other people which made the atmosphere more relaxing.They even checked up on our tattoos a few days later to make sure everything was healing up good.I almost dont want to ever go to any other shop though theirs is 7 hours away from us. Its worth the drive any day of the week.

There are so many things that set them apart, but the first is the level of professionalism from Mrs. Aniya. Their rules have been established for years, and I believe that keeps it going the way it does. I went there almost a decade ago for a custom tattoo that was very special to me in memory of my father, and years later, the process (and the cleanliness of the shop) remains the same. You speak with Mrs. Aniya to set your budget and pay your deposit. Then you return, and that’s when the magic happens! When you walk into the shop, you won’t have a bunch of random clip art on the wall to select from. You see actual work done by Jake, so you have an idea of the quality you’ll get and the previous stories told. I love that when I go to Tatlyfe, I know I’ll walk out of the shop with a custom piece with impeccable work that’s only mine. I know this because Jake takes the time to listen to your story behind the tattoo before he even begins to sketch. He does the sketch over and over to perfection before transferring it and starting the tattoo process. He’s not a two-needle guy. My tattoo experience has been small tats through the years, nothing as serious as what I’m getting now.  I knew I wanted a Superman tat for the longest, but still didn’t know what it would look like.  Setting up the appointment and my consultation was so professional and personable.  They WILL take care of you.  I will keep repeating Aniya’s words, “follow the process and trust the process.”  Jake is a TRUE ARTIST and can take ANY idea and make it into a masterpiece.  I have a story on my arm right now and I couldn’t be happier with the outcome.  When it’s your time for your session, it’s just YOU.  No one comes into the shop, Jake doesn’t take phone calls/texts, he concentrates on you and the masterpiece he is creating.  And for anyone who is scared of the needle…you don’t need to be with him.  I dozed off when he was working on my arm!  He has a gentle hand and doesn’t dig into your skin—if you have experienced it, someone wasn’t doing it right.  I always feel comfortable and relaxed when I come in and that means a lot to me.  This is my tattoo home and Jake is my tattoo artist, will not go anywhere else because I KNOW I will not get the same experience.  “Follow the process and TRUST the process,” you will not be let down by working with them.

The atmosphere was so cozy and this duo team Aniya and Jake were exceptionally great with their clients. The studio is always clean and I like that they are meticulous about sanitation. I have been planning on a tattoo of my cat for a while now. Set up an appointment and Jake helped give ideas and designs on different looks/themes. We found 2 I liked and he kinda merged both together. I really loved what he did and he is amazing. We even got ideas of another tattoo later in the future. Plus I do love the payment plans. Knew what I wanted just needed it put together. Went right in and he put it together and I walked out with a masterpiece on my arm. I got such a big beautiful tattoo for such a good price. Miss Aniya will make sure you are fully taken care of.

My wife and I both got tattoos done by them and it was an amazing experience from the start. From making the decision to go to them, then having a nice long discussion about what we were getting done and where wed put the tattoo on our bodies. When it came down to booking the appointment it was just like talking to an old friend that you have not seen in a while. As the time came to get the tattoo they where so polite and friendly; it made the experience so relaxing and stress free. I had such a great experience I am going to be going back for a few coverups.

Jake has done three pieces for me and I’m preparing to get the forth. Jake and his wife are very personable, transparent, professional, and their customer service is top notch. Ive gotten tattoos for many years. This was the BEST experience I have ever had. The people are amazing and very attentive. There was no push to get something I didnt want or to compromise on an idea. The work is outstanding and their knowledge is unmatched.

Jake is an amazing artist! This was the first tattoo Ive ever gotten and I ended up with a half sleeve. I couldnt be happier, its a wonderful piece of art. Tattoo can definitely be painful but Jake is very mindful of his clients and definitely tries to make you as comfortable as possible I would highly recommend to anyone getting a tattoo. The normal experience for most tattoo shops is very straight forward and dry. With that being said the experience Ive had this far with Jake and Aniya is nothing close to normal its stellar and nothing short of professional. They are both very easy to talk to and listen to what you are wanting while still giving great feedback on what could make your experience that much better. I will definitely be getting much more work done here.

This isn’t your average tattoo shop. My first time actually going to this place I was handed a packet and was informed about all the rules and guidelines at my curbside appointment. They were very professional and I was very well informed before I was able to book my tattoo appointment. The service is A1 and it’s more than just telling an artist what you want and they make it happen...there’s great conversation and comfort. When I was explaining my idea he brought it to life and made sure that I’d walk out excited about my new masterpiece, as well as talking me through the whole process. Visited in May to get a tattoo. I had a couple of ideas in mind but not 100% sure what I wanted. I ran my ideas by Jake and he was honest with me about what would stand out, be different and be cleanest. I trusted his vision and my tattoo turned out great! Im glad I got my work done here. Hes very polite and their business is very professional. They wore masks and made sure no one else was in the shop at the time I had my appointment to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. They keep it clean, and I liked that it was so calm and relaxing throughout my entire visit. I would highly recommend getting your tattoo work done here!

Love, love, love this place! Owners and staff are professional yet down to earth. This was my first time receiving a professional tattoo so Aniya took her time explaining the process to me. She made me feel more than comfortable and even though it was after hours (and I was a walk in) she stayed to keep me company until it was my turn. Ms Aniya also makes sure your experience is Grade A from the moment you walk in to make an appointment, she is always willing to work with your schedule and their trade is working with YOUR customized budget! Tatlyfe is more than just a tattoo shop, its a close knit group of people that you will literally find yourself becoming involved with. All of the artists have their own unique style of tattooing and each brings so much to the table. I dont think I could recommend any other shop for a more personable experience.

I booked my appointment on line 2 months ago I drove from Illinois to get a covered up. I was very nervous simply because it has been a long time since I had a tattoo and of course the long drive BUT it was totally worth it! Miss Aniya made the booking process so easy she explained everything and made sure I was understanding. Once I arrived Big Jake Was Patient and he listened to me talk about the tattoo I wanted to cover up and why. As I told my painful story to close this chapter once and for all he then designed the cover up right in front of me. I knew I wanted a tattoo in Savannah and when I started looking online for shops, Tatlyfe was my first call. They were so professional and communicated everything up front. Over the next couple of weeks they worked with me, accommodating my schedule since I was driving from out of town. We became friends and when we finally met, it was like a reunion!!! Ive gotten three tattoos there and each of them have been flawlessly done. Xavier, Joe, and Big Jake are each masters of their own craft. Not to mention sitting (or laying) down for the tattoo is a great experience because they dont make you feel like just another customer. They make you feel like family or long time friends. This shop is a unique shop, filled with unique staff, that do flawless tattoos and give you the experience that you always wanted from a tattoo shop.

There is nothing bad to say about this place. They are the most professional, respectful, gracious, flexible and talented team I have ever been too. I have received tattoos before from good artist, but they do not hold a candle to Jake. I cannot say enough good things about how they treated me the last five years. I am moving 17 hours away and I will never be tattooed by anybody else, even if that means me flying him and his wife to my house or me flying back to Savannah. That’s what you do for the best and that’s what they are.

I had my first tattoo done here a few weeks back. I was obviously nervous to get my first ink done. Big Jake was absolutely wonderful to work with though. He worked with me on the design until I was comfortable and was 100% professional. The entire 16 hours of the tattoo was in a clean private room with no distractions. I watched Netflix and he worked. Unlike any other tattoo shop Ive visited but thats a good thing! I went in with wanting some somple dog tags with my friends name but the artist asked me how can we make yours unique and we ended up brainstorming for an hour and put together a great tribute piece. I was in Savannah in July for my 40th birthday. Ive been wanting a tattoo for a long time. I read some reviews of tattoo shops in the area. Finally decided on Tatlyfe. I went in, told them my ideas and my budget. They were great. Ms. Aniya was so helpful and friendly. Felt like I had known her for years. My artist did an awesome job. I followed the aftercare instructions I was given. My tattoo never hurt or turned red. It didnt scab much either. I have gotten lots of compliments. It looks great. When you are getting your first tattoo your mind and thought process is all over the place. What kind of design, what’s a good budget, quality of work etc. The staff at Tatlyfe assured me the process was easy and it was just that. You pick your budget which is awesome because you won’t have to feel your stuck in a box on what you want to get. Within the last few days before my appointment Tatlyfe interacted with me via social media and started a virtual countdown for my first tattoo. I thought that was cool and exciting. When I arrived I was still unsure about my design but Jake made the process simpler for me by getting me to think about what’s important to me and how to visualize it as art. I especially enjoyed that part because he helped me create something wayyyyyy better than the ideas that I had in my head on the spot. During the process everything was clean and organized. We held great convos, played the Xbox a little, listen to music pretty much anything to make me feel relaxed which made the process go by faster. At the end they provide you with strict guidelines on how to use their aftercare products. For me the healing process was about 2-3 weeks after. During the healing process staff would reach out to me to check on how I was doing. I thought that was amazing because most businesses stop interacting after the transaction is complete. I would recommend Tatlyfe to anyone who’s thinking about getting a tattoo.

During this crazy time with Covid, this shop has done a great job in taking precautions, while still providing a great service. The owners are super sweet and provide a chill and friendly vibe. The artist himself approaches a tattoo with his artistic background knowledge of painting. He brainstorms with you in order to provide a tattoo that you will love, versus showing up to a predrawn design. You will get a striking composition combined with phenomenal details! Most excellent! Tattooing here at Tatlyfe is fruitful, producing results rich in depiction. Skillful lines, shading, and accuracy show through the tattoos. The flow is real. I was looking for reputable tattoo artist, to coverup several previous tattoos! After researching, Jake was a top pick! I called talked to Aniya, who explained their entire process and scheduled my appointment. I started talking to Tatlyfe Studios while I was deployed to Afghanistan. So that itself should tell you how helpful these people are. The entire process of getting tattoos done at Tatlyfe Studios was not only easy but friendly, borderline family like. The artists and office staff are both very engaging on ideas but respond very positively to constructive criticism of what you are putting on your body. Big Jake will not put it on you if you dont like it and if he doesnt like it. He obviously sees his work as art more than a paycheck. You pay per piece, not by hour. Easy to pay through PayPal. Both Big Jake and Miss Aniya are excited about the work you get done and thoroughly check in with you after to make sure you are caring for it and are more than satisfied. I WILL be getting more work from them.

Ive never been to a work with you type of shop like this one before. Came in with a idea and 100 bucks and left with a better tattoo than I was hoping for. Super friendly and professional. A few days later and they are still checking in on me and my ink and out of all the shops Ive been to not one has come close to the hospitality. Id give it 6 stars if I could, and you can bet Ill be caught in there a few more times

I began speaking to Big Jake a tattoo artist within Tatlyfe studio and explained to him my ideas and dreams for my StarWars piece. He immediately got me thrilled by jumping onto the project and seemed just as excited to do my tattoo and I was to get one. When I came back for my appointment to get my actual tattoo and see what Big Jake had drawn up for me I was lost for words for his idea of what he had in mind. I absolutely adored the idea and found the idea absolutely perfect. The rooms where very clean! And professional and a bonus is while getting a tattoo they allow you to watch movies of you choice! My tattoo is unfinished currently do to being a big work of art of my thigh but currently what is done is spectacular! My Darth Vader is well detailed and very realistic! Im so excited to see what the finished product looks like!
