Can’t say enough about how much my husband and I enjoyed getting tattooed by Delan! Delan has such a peaceful, comfortable and clean studio. We had a blast hanging out, getting tattooed and watching anime. Not to mention leaving with some amazing new artwork! We definitely will be back! 😄

I live in Oregon and was lucky enough to have Delan do my first two tattoos when he lived here, too. By the time I was ready for more, he had moved to Savannah. I couldn’t imagine anyone else working on me, so I recently flew to Savannah and spent two days with Delan so he could add to my left arm; in a year or two I’ll go back to have him work on the right. His art is beautiful, he knows just about everything there is to know about tattooing, and he’s the nicest guy ever. Delan is amazing. The shop is clean and private. He was thorough in explaining the before, during and after of getting tattoos. He regularly checked in to make sure everything was to my standard and that I was comfortable with the process. He encouraged feedback back and had awesome artistic input. Will be coming back !!

5+ star experience! You can definitely tell that Delan has put a lot of time and effort into perfecting the entire experience from beginning to end when you book. He really cares that you leave with a great tattoo AND great service.This was my first tattoo and I had no clue what to expect. From the beginning, Delan was extremely responsive (following up on my message and sending booking details same day) - and then continued to be responsive until the day of.The entire day of experience is top notch - the studio is clean & spacious, and we were the only two there all day. Delan was kind, attentive, gave plenty of time to look at / change the design, and happily explained every step through the process. Not to mention, he has an insanely chill aura and is super easy to talk to - so sitting for 8 hours straight felt like a breeze.You can clearly tell Delan is a true artist, so I was always expecting the work to be amazing and unique, but the overall experience and service definitely set it over the top.Will definitely be back!

Absolutely incredible! Delan is BEYOND talented! Just had my half sleeve completed. So patient with me whenever I needed a break. He has tattooed my husband and plenty of our friends. I have 4 tattoos from Delan now, and an appointment for #5 already booked for this fall.If you want a tattoo artist who does fantastic work, makes you feel safe and heard, and don’t want the usual “tattoo parlor” feel, go make an appointment with Delan. I came across Delan on Instagram and immediately was intrigued by his work. I live 4 hours away from Savannah, but the more tattoos I saw, I knew I had found someone who could help me with what I was wanting. I reached out to him on his website, which was extremely easy, and the whole thing progressed from there.Delan did a memorial piece for me and absolutely rocked it! My tattoo is a half sleeve and is (so far) the biggest tattoo I have. This tattoo took 6 hours, but it did not feel that long at all. His shop is so comfortable and he makes you feel right at home. It’s also nice that he is the only artist in the shop, this made my experience feel more personal and focused. His place is the cleanest shop I have ever been in. The vibe is calming and relaxed.The work he provided was absolutely amazing. The details he put into my tattoo are beautiful. Delan really listened to what I was wanting and on the one spot I felt like needed an adjustment, he let me make changes before we started. The experience is all about the customer and making sure they are comfortable, and pumped to get some ink.I love my tattoo and receive complements on it daily. I already have plans to return to see Delan this summer. His work is 100% worth a road trip!

When searching for an artist for my first tattoo, I took my time to find someone whos artwork I loved. Stumbled across Delans work on Instagram and all of it was breathtaking. I came from Marietta, GA because I loved his floral work so much. Delan made the process so easy & made me feel so at ease. I knew I wanted a floral sleeve & wanted to incorporate hidden elements to memorialize family. He took my ideas and made it so much better. His attention to detail, crisp lines, and placement are amazing. I cant wait to come back and continue my sleeve and get any future tattoos from him!I cant recommend him enough!

I dont even know where to start. Delan is amazingly talented, and after seeing a piece he did for a friend I knew I had to reach out and Im beyond happy I did. I cannot say enough about how friendly and welcoming he has been throughout this entire process. He explained everything every step of the way and since this was my first big piece I really appreciated that. His studio is also beautiful, super clean, and it was cool being able to work with him 1:1. Now to the fun part, the tattoo. Once we were done putting the finishing touches on the sketch he started and checked in with me throughout to make sure I was ok. Again, hes awesome. I got to see the outline before the detail work began, totally floored and got me excited all over again. Once he finished and I got to see my tattoo I think I might have screamed out of happiness. I. Love. My. Tattoo. Its perfect, better than I could ever imagine. He took my idea and created something so beautiful. I came to Savannah from Jacksonville to get tattooed by Delan, and the entire process from start to finish was beyond amazing. When I reached out to Delan with my very poorly described idea, he was able to pinpoint exactly what I was looking for and turn it into an absolutely perfect tattoo for me. I love that he creates each piece custom for his clients so you know you are always getting something tailored specifically to you. In addition to creating beautiful work, Delan is a breeze to work with and has made his studio a relaxing atmosphere so that you truly feel at ease. I can’t stop staring at my new piece, and already have compliments flooding in from others. This tattoo was the start to my leg sleeve, and I can’t wait to come back to continue adding to it. Truly cannot recommend Delan enough!

Delan did my first larger tattoo a month ago. I traveled from Jacksonville, and it was absolutely worth the trip. I found his work online and from the very first email he was responsive, professional, easy to communicate with, and made my whole experience comfortable and enjoyable. He was happy to take breaks as needed and made sure I was happy with the entire process. I was beyond pleased with the process and love the outcome.

Turned out better then I could have imagined. Delan is a real professional and its obviously when you sit down with him. Let this guy do his thing and you wont be disappointed, I havent seen a peice of art from him that hasnt been top quality and I will be returning in the future!

Delan is a badass tattoo artist! We came up with a cool unique design for my sleeve and knocked it out when I came in. The shop was spotless, music was great and the vibes were good. Definitely my best Tattoo experience I have had so far.

10/10 would recommend :p in all seriousness, delan gave me & my friend the BEST tattoo experience we have ever had. we were visiting from out of town with limited availability but delan was able to sneak us into his schedule. delan’s shop was clean & gave a private experience. from the moment we came into the shop it was obvious our comfort was a priority to delan. he let us control the music & was very attentive making sure we were comfortable with everything down to the room temperature. he never made us feel rushed or annoying as we figured out sizing, placement, etc. now onto the actual tattoo, our tattoos are even better than we could have imagined. he added small little details that truly blew us away at the end. after the tattoo he took multiple high quality photos to share with us. booking with delan will give you the tattoo experience you have always been searching for… good vibes, good company & a great tattoo. we are hoping to visit again from florida & plan to book more appointments with delan.

I can not say enough good things about Delan. He is not only a top notch tattooer but a top notch human as well. He was super easy and wonderful to work with. Not typically one to write reviews but the experience Delan provides is worth recognition. Not only is his art/skill top notch, but he made the whole process a joy. He worked with me on the design to make the piece uniquely mine while incorporating his own artistic vision. His shop is clean and comfortable. His personality is both professional and laid back at the same time. He is very thorough and meticulous with the actually tattooing. If you are looking not only for beautiful art, but also the “experience” of getting a tattoo, you won’t find someone better!

This was by far the best tattoo experience I have ever had, and I have a lot of tattoos. From the moment I walked in Delan was friendly, talkative and genuine. He drew everything up before hand and had multiple variations of my description that were all beautiful. He made sure that it was exactly what I wanted. During tattooing he always made sure I was comfortable and if I needed a break. His work is incredible and he does amazing line work. Delan is fantastic. Hes done multiple tattoos for me now and I have never been disappointed in the results. Delan was very professional, clean and overall an amazing tattoo artist. I had a full day session with him and it was one of the best tattooing experiences I had. He was very compliant to adjust any part of the drawing before tattooing and made sure to incorporate my pre-existing piece on my leg. He made sure I was comfortable the entire day and 10/10 would recommend him to anyone and everyone.

From start to finish, my whole experience with Delan was amazing. He’s quick to reply to emails, really professional, and so easy to talk to (important when you’re hanging out one-on-one for hours). I’ve been tattooed by other artists before and my experience with Delan went above and beyond my expectations. He was more than happy to make adjustments to my design if needed (I loved everything about it, so no adjustments here) and was genuinely stoked to be doing the tattoo. He played music (and first asked if I had any preferences) and took periodic breaks throughout the appointment to apply numbing spray and let me check out the tattoo throughout the process. A friend of mine from Oregon recommended him. I live in SC. It took me about 4 hours to see him. It was totally worth the trip. I am Deaf. We were able to communicate with each other very well. He made sure I was completely satisfied. I have Fibromyalgia. He made sure I felt comfortable. I truly appreciate that. He has a phenomenal talent. He’s truly a professional. I got a tattoo today from Delan and although it was not my first tattoo experience it was easily my best. I have had someone with me for other tattoos and went alone today, but felt absolutely no nerves or anxiety after meeting him. Delans work speaks for itself, he has a phenomenal talent and was really great to work with. Hes very clean and professional, his attitude was super chill and laid back but also passionate and eager to permanently draw all over you. You could talk to him about obscure hip hop references, conspiracy theories, horror movies, corny puns, spring flowers, skateboarding or really anything youre passionate about and hed match that energy 100%.I went to him for a custom sleeve to honor my sister who passed away and he listened to everything I had to say and brought out a bunch of amazing sketches from some references i provided and offered so much insight on how to make them all fit together and reflect a little bit of her personality on my arm.I cant recommend him enough to anybody wanting cool, original and inspired artwork to last a lifetime.

Delan is an incredible artist and super down to earth. His work space is bright and comfortable. I anticipated a more intense environment being that this was my first tattoo, however it was a comfortable experience with breezy conversations. This wont be my last time getting work done by him.

First off, let me just say, Delan is an amazing artist. I gave him some ideas on what I was looking for and he interpreted those ideas into an amazing sleeve. He is super friendly, fun to chat with, his shop is always very clean, and he is always willing to work with you, whether timing, design ideas, or anything else. I have been to his shop twice in the last two months to get my sleeve finished before my wedding, and I cant see myself ever going to another artist. Thank you Delan for the awesome sleeve. Best tattoo experience, hands down, and I have over 15. Delan really takes the time to make sure you know how to prepare yourself so that you have the best experience, no ones ever made sure I ate a good meal beforehand! But it helped, especially since I was laying there for 5+ hours! I came up from California to be tattooed by him and I would again in a heartbeat, and I plan to! He really cares about his work and wants the client to be 110% satisfied. Unlike other artists I’ve gone to, he talks you through the tattoo so you know exactly what part he’s doing which I thought was cool. He gave me my absolute favorite tattoo and I was immediately getting compliments on it from people I ran into. Delan is my go-to man for tattoos from here on out! If I could give more stars I would!

First time I walked into Delan’s shop I was met with such a warm welcome. He not only is amazing at what he does but you can tell instantly he absolutely loves it and has the ability to make you feel completely comfortable the second you walk through his doors. Such a great experience for my first tattoo. My boyfriend got his first tattoo from Delan a couple years ago and was looking to get another tattoo so we got an appointment together. He made us very comfortable and even though my little fox served as Delan’s “vision test of the week” the detail he was able to get in such a small tattoo was amazing. I’m so happy with how both our tattoos turned out!! Delan is easygoing and so talented!

Delan was extremely friendly, quick to respond, and professional from the first point of contact that I had with him. I struggled to find THE artist to start this project with for a while because I only had ideas but no game plan. When I went in for the first session, my expectations were blown away! He came up with a beautiful design and made it look even better on me! I have never had work done by a tatooist who was so enthusiastic about my ink. His shop is clean and private, he is very professional, relatable and kind. It is apparent that Delans priorities are that you are comfortable at all times and that you are in love with your new tattoo! Delan is UH MAZING, like a magical unicorn. His work is incredible. He’s super thoughtful and so involved in the design process of your vision, I went in to get commemorative hood to Coast tattoos with my best friend, just wanted a 3 line symbol and he turned it into the most beautiful work of art I never could have imagined! Today i got my second tattoo from Delan. He’s so easy to work with and is extremely talented. I gave him a very rough idea of what i wanted but he was so excited about the tattoo and he absolutely killed it. If you ask for a skull, you’ll probably make his day haha. His work is phenomenal and i will 100% be coming back for more in the future. My girlfriend and i can’t stop staring at our tattoos. Thanks Delan!

- Delan made every effort to make the process comfortable - as tattoos go this one was downright tolerable, even after 5-6 hours of work.- Communication is just as constant as you want it to be, and Delan always seems to have the last word (a good thing - his last email was a thank you, and I knew better than to respond with my own because Id just get another one in return - not something Id like to avoid, I just know hes busy);- Delan has no openings seemingly through the end of time (February anyway, which these days could well be the end of time) - even during a pandemic (another good thing - you should be willing to wait for a good tattoo);- We discussed the design until we were done - the check-ins were constant;- The lines are crisp, consistent and on-point (so to speak);- The colors are deep where they need to be, fade where they should and theyre well-placed (cant ask for much more than that).All these really important tattoo-related things aside, what most stands out to me is that Delan is simply a nice person who made the experience as fun and comfortable as it could possibly be - from beginning to end. I could go on and I very well might if I thought youd keep reading (did I mention he went out and bought us lunch?).To summarize: I would be happy to recommend Delans work to anyone... so you best get in line because Ive already started.P.S. I second the praise for Delans music selection.

If I could give a million stars I would. Delan is amazing with his work and as a human. The whole experience was top notch. I have been diagnosed with panic disorder and during COVID I have been even more anxious. He completely understood my issues without making me feel judged or crazy. Even though Delan increased my drive by 45 minutes to get inked now, I still will only allow this guy to tattoo me. Delan is by far my favorite tattoo artist. It’s hard to say what I love the most about him. I found him on Instagram back in 2014 and was immediately attracted to his style of art; it was exactly what I had been envisioning for my sleeve. We’ve been working on it for over 4 years now and I have so say as I’ve gotten to know him, he has quickly became one of my favorite people as well. Beyond the art, he is intelligent and passionate and an excellent conversationalist. There’s never a dull moment when he’s tattooing me, sometimes for several hours at a time! I trust him with everything. I throw a random idea at him, tell him to make it weird, and walk away with something better than I imagined. I always enjoy our time together and will be coming to him for years to come.

After researching artists in my area, I found Delans IG and fell in love with his work. Hes usually booked out for at least a few months, but trust me, HE IS WORTH THE WAIT! He was flexible with scheduling, provided great customer service, was friendly and knowledgeable about his craft, and that was all before I even met him in person. When you go for your actual appointment, hes welcoming and funny and puts you right at ease. And, most importantly, his art and his skills with the needle are AMAZING! I could not have been happier with the tattoo he provided for me. Ill never go to anyone else for future ink!

This guy is booked out almost three months, and there is a reason for that. He is worth the wait. I contacted Delan earlier this year and we emailed back and forth about what I wanted. Do I have the tattoo I originally imagined? No. Because Delan was honest enough with me to explain my ideas were going to be very difficult to make into something beautiful. He was more than willing to do what I wanted, but he also gave me his professional opinion AND an option that he thought would look better. And by doing that, he got me to think outside the box and, long story short, we ended up going in a completely different direction. I am a writer. I make you see pictures with words. So I sent my words to Delan and asked him bring the pictures to life with his art. And boy, did he ever! We arent done yet. (I have a lot of stories!) But, as Delan told me early on, when we get done, this is going to be epic!

I saw a high quality tattoo on an individual in Salem that caught my eye and I inquired as to the artist. Then, a few weeks later, an almost identical incident occurred and in both cases the artist was Delan Canclini. I knew he was the man for my tattoo ... an idea that I had been holding onto for years. Looked him up, visited the shop, made the appointment. He has a skilled touch but also was always prompt in replies to emails, had a listening heart and offered honest opinions that guided the final product. Got the ink done 3 days ago and its everything I hoped for! This was my 5th, and largest tattoo, the centerpiece for my back, and Delan did total justice to the original art. Excellent shop, perfect pace with attention to customer comfort, Delan is an easy-going dude, keeps it light and is great to talk to but serious about the art. My next tattoo will be with Delan for sure!

I just got my third tattoo done by Delan. He is always a great person to chat with while tattooing. The new shop is amazing. Big open windows. Small but not to small and it felt more private. The new space is open and clean. I couldn’t possibly recommend Delan any higher.

Honestly just the best experience. A great guy and crazy talented artist. He books out pretty far in advance, so you may have to wait a bit for your tattoo...but its WORTH IT! Makes you totally comfortable, his art is amazing, his tattoo work is fantastic. All around AWESOME.

This is the second tattoo by Delan to continue my sleeve. The detail Delan puts into his work is beyond compare. I gave him a general idea of what I wanted and he ran with it. Look at the eye! I can’t wait for the next stage, my upper arm. His studio is awesome and so welcoming. A perfect pairing with the artist.

Wow. Every good review of an artist should start with wow and Delan deserves a wow. Originally came to him for a cover up of a colorful forearm tattoo from freshman year. Delan took the examples found on Pinterest with his own art style and created a cover-up that will grow into a beautiful black and white sleeve. The cover-up is impeccable, I sometimes forget it was originally a cover up. He even uses small amounts of white in with his line work to make specific details really pop, which makes the cover-up even more perfect. The cover-up art was so great that he will now be the artist for my entire left arm. Regardless of if you need a cover-up or are just looking for Just an incredible artist, Delan is your guy.

For some people, their first tattoo is something spontaneously done out of impulse, but that was never the case for me. I toiled over an artist for years before seeing his work, meeting him and taking the plunge. There wasnt a moment during the process that I had the slightest doubt I was in the best hands. Not only is my back piece beautiful, but it holds a lot of meaning to me and I am eternally grateful. His ability to bring to life exactly what I had envisioned means Ill be headed back as soon as possible for my next piece. Overall 10/10 for my first ever tattoo experience. Safe to say Im offically addicted.

Delan was absolutely awesome. This is my first tattoo and Delan couldnt have been more understanding and accommodating to any of my concerns. You can tell hes got plenty of experience behind him and is very skilled. I was on the table for about 2 hours and can confidently say the pain was very minimal with his techniques. Plus, his music preferences were great! I enjoyed every minute of it.
