I’m so happy I found Removery! I wasn’t sure what to expect, but the staff explained the entire process from start to finish and made me feel comfortable and confident with the decision to remove my tattoo. They are so caring, absolutely wonderful! They also offer military/first responder discounts (thank you, I truly appreciate it). I look forward to the rest of my sessions and the final result, can’t recommend this place enough!! 10/10!!!

I met with Bert today for a free consultation and it was such a blessing. I’m so glad I came in to talk to him about my tattoo and what my options were. Not once did I feel like he was trying to sell me their services, he actually recommended that I wait until I find a tattoo artist and talk to them first before opting to get it faded. Not all tattoo artists and tattoo designs need fading before creating a new tattoo over the original. I didn’t know that. Bert also gave me some genuine pearls of wisdom that I will forever hold close to my heart. Thank you Bert and Removery for being so awesome. 5 stars all around.

I’m really happy to have found Removery. I’ve been wanting to get my tattoo removed for a long time but wasn’t confident that it was going to be worth the time and money. My dermatologist recommended Removery and they were very transparent with potential results and thoroughly explained the process. I just finished my third appointment, I still have a long way to go. But the service is great, the staff is friendly, and I’m in and out of there in less than 10 minutes.

My wife and I have been going to this location for 2-3 years now and wow. An amazing staff, an amazing facility, and just amazing all around. We wish we werent moving because I truly dont believe we will find another Removery that is just as great. If you are wanting to get a tattoo removed GO TO THEM. You wont regret it. Amazing staff, clean environment and everyone is nice/kind and has patience. even when i look like i am trying to survived through the pain! HAHA laser removal hurts and sucks but through them its worth it. fast and efficient. scheduling and rescheduling is never a hassle always on point

Had Bert do my consultation with me and he was amazing, on a professional and friendly level. Really down to earth guy who provided an excellent AND honest explanation of the process. I didnt want a full tattoo removed/faded and we talked about all alternatives even the full option. Which all the information was extremely helpful.Since the tattoo i went in for is colored, Bert helped explained the pros/cons of removal/fade vs just a black ink tattoo based on your skin color. I had never through about any of that going into this which again was extremely helpful.Weird i actually left admiring my tattoo more after my consultation because Bert and I talked about how our tattoos tell stories. So this is part of my story now :).

Been coming here since they were Invisible Ink! I’m working with Jamie right now and she’s great! The whole team is always kind and welcoming (and funny!). In and out with no issues. I highly suggest paying the whole cost up front for full removal if you can because they guarantee the removal regardless of number of sessions and so many factors can prolong the process. They do have military discount which makes a world of a difference on the price, and even before that the pricing itself is really affordable compared to what I’ve seen before with tattoo removal. I love Removery Chicago in Schaumburg! Some people remove tattoos to get rid of the past or because they’re “starting their life over,” however, I’m getting a few tattoos removed to finally become my authentic self! As a trans man, I’m not always accepted in all spaces that don’t specify they’re queer-friendly. Let me tell you, this place is A SAFE SPACE FOR ALL. All walks of life, all races, creeds, genders, identities, all people from all backgrounds are welcomed at Removery. From soccer moms to parolees to a trans boy like me- you’re treated with respect. The staff feels like family and if I could personally give each of them a raise I would. The prices are fair and the tattoos are fully removed. I only suggest Removery to my friends so don’t waste time looking anywhere else!

Just finished my 4th treatment and seeing some real progress! Staff could not be more welcoming, Bert at the front counter always has positive energy when you walk in and can help you with almost anything you have questions about! Everything is very professional and the entire removal process is explained very thoroughly as well as anything that might affect the process. My experience here has been 5 stars since my initial visit. I’ll start there with Bert. He was warm and welcoming and made a best friend in my baby in the first 5 seconds of meeting her. I came in wanting a small tattoo removed and mentioned another I didn’t care for. He measured both and together they fit in the “small” price. He didn’t have to do that.Coming to an appointment of these sorts with a baby isn’t ideal but because of Bert my now toddler is excited to come see her bff.Monika, who just got back from maternity leave also is warm and welcoming. She makes the “pain” of the process as close to painless as you can get. She also is excited to see my daughter grow!Definitely a family oriented place and I love that.Also my tattoos are disappearing! Which might be the most important part for most. lolThanks guys!

Ive been coming to Removery for a little over 2 years now. I love that theyre always honest and very speedy. Ive never had a bad reaction or infection from my laser appointments. Berts the first person I see when I walk in and hes a riot. Always friendly and always entertaining! Jamie does my removal and shes the best! I see her every 12 weeks and she always remembers things I told her from my previous appt (not tattoo related). Overall, great staff, very clean location, knowledgeable, and friendly! 10/10 would recommend to everyone!

Ive been going here for just over a year, and progress is visible and relieving. Jamie and Monica are amazing and the gentleman at the front desk is always very friendly and kind. Its a calm, safe environment even as someone with an anxiety disorder, and they do a good job with providing thorough information about everything.

Every single employee makes this torture so much more bearable! Ive actually started looking forward to my treatments, so I can catch up with the wonderful staff, and continue to see the improvement on my removal!

Got my 14th treatment, and been going since June 2021. It’s a long process which I knew. Very happy with the fading process. My tattoos are small, and I’m sure if was removing a bigger tattoos it would be a more painful experience. I have color tattoos being removed on both feet and my hip. Green seems to be the most stubborn which is in all of them but it’s finally fading. I like that it’s a flat rate until it’s gone, and have multiple locations.

So far so good 😊 Experience every visit is nice and staff are always pleasant. I appreciate the open conversation and attention to answering questions. Due to my size of ink I went with the unlimited package with hopes removal will be a success. I’ll return with updates in another year +/- :) anticipating 5 full stars then, still not done so…until then

My experience was very positive, and the pricing was as expected.Bert with an e will be your guide through the consultation. It is concise, and takes about 20-30 minutes. You either want to get started, or you dont. Its that simple.I was able to go from consultation, straight to payment, then on to treatment, and out the door in less than 90 minutes.Today, I was treated by Monika with a k. She got the area nice and cold, which made a world of difference in my comfort. Yes, lasers can hurt - just like when you had the tattoo put on in the first place. I FELT it, but did not wince. Afterwards, for about 10 minutes, things were medium salsa spicy. Its been less than an hour, and I feel occasional discomfort - like a mild scrape.I have had other tattoos removed, with other businesses, and this was the least uncomfortable session by far.Ill see you soon, and NOT see these tattoos later!

My experience here at this location was wonderful. The technician I met and sales associate I met today for consultation where very caring, kind, understanding and professional. They both answered my questions and concerns in a very detailed manner, to the point where I felt comfortable enough to trust them with my laser tattoo removal treatment. I can not say enough good things about Recovery in Schaumburg. Burt is hands down the most knowledgeable person Ive ever talked with about tattoos and removal of them. I decided to move forward with removal of my eyebrows in less then 24 hours. Laura is the technician that did my removal. I recently went there for my third procedure and when I walked in Ashley started up a conversation from my last visit, which is saying a lot considering that had been eight weeks ago! The area was iced / cleaned before hand and honestly the pain wasn’t as bad as I had expected. I had a wonderful experience with my first session of laser tattoo removal! Ive been coming here since May 2021, as of today it is Jan 2023. Im having a small tattoo on my hip removed, on a fleshly part of my hip. I live about 7 minutes away and I always say that it takes me longer to drive here than to actually get the laser procedure done - each session takes like 3 minutes. They have continued to make the process more comfortable over the years. The staff is always nice. I think if you got a larger tattoo removed on a bone, it would probably hurt.Back when I went to them, they had a deal to start that day and pay one price for unlimited sessions. Quite frankly, at this point, that was an excellent deal.The only somewhat complaint I have was their initial sales pitch. Their sales person told me that my tattoo would probably be gone in a year or mostly gone, but they definitely tried to make me feel like it would most likely be gone in a year. Ive realized this is going to be at least a 2 year process. Getting a tattoo removed can take a long time - there is no rushing the process. However long they tell you, assume it will take another year. But this place makes it as easy as possible and has been great, so Im not going to hold the time estimate against them. If you want to get something removed, I absolutely recommend you go here.

Everyone’s nice and empathetic to my feelings, needs, and they answer all my questions. The process actually works too. Not going to lie though. It’s a bit of a painful process, but it’s totally worth it for me to have it done. They give you time to breathe, and have a small break if it gets to be a bit overwhelming during the treatment. They try their best to keep you comfortable and talk to you to keep your mind off of it.

I have been going here for about a year now to remove a tattoo on my wrist. Removery is the absolute best! I shopped around and went to numerous different tattoo removals and they were all extremely pricey and didn’t seem to care much about skin health/not scarring him during the removal process. I’ve been going for 3 years now. Everyone is super friendly and just awesome! They literally all go to a great extend to ensure the process is the least painful as possible. Even though it’s a painful process all the techs always make sure I’m comfortable or if I need anything. So easy to make appointments, reschedule, & change appointments. Again, it’s a very painful process, but they all go to a great extent to ensure I’m okay!Very happy with the process so far!100/10! Would highly recommend.

I paid for a package for unlimited sessions until my tattoos are removed which was a few thousand dollars. Before coming to the Removery, I had been to 7 sessions with plastic surgeon for tattoo removal and I decided to come to The Removery. Today was my 7th session at the Removery, so I have had a total of 14 sessions. Today I was told that I may never have my tattoos fully removed after I questioned why it’s taking so long. I was told there are clients that have been going there for years. They are spacing my sessions out 14 weeks apart. If you’re looking for fast removal or if you want your tattoos removed, do your research because from my experience, this isn’t working so far and it’s been two years without an end in sight.

I came in today for a consultation & I spoke with Haley. She was very nice & professional. The atmosphere overall was great. They were very accommodating. I ended up having to bring my toddler to my consultation & she made us feel welcomed. He will not be present during my treatments. Haley explained the process in great detail. I will definitely use them for my service when I decide on going forward with the removal process.

Went in today for a consultation on getting a few tattoos removed and was immediately greeted. Business is spotless and everything was explained to me while I filled out paperwork. Staff was extremely pleasant and relatable and I immediately felt relaxed. We even had a few laughs during the consult. Pricing was explained to me and options of payment plans. She took her time, let me have breaks during the procedure and showed me the frosting results. While the price was hefty, I left happy knowing that this is the start of bad memories being erased. I have been going here for my laser treatment to remove part of a tattoo that I didn’t know was crooked until my sister told me. My journey has been great! Had my first visit at Removery today and was quite satisfied. They were well organized, welcoming and professional. The company had payment alternatives (pay as you go, packages or just flat out till it’s gone), answered my questions and got me right into the first session and back on the road all in about 30 minutes. The treatment does sting but hey - it’s a reminder to not get a bad tattoo - and the technician was friendly and quick so overall a good experience and really not that bad. The tattoo now feels like a mild sunburn and I intend to visit every 12 weeks until it’s gone. I recommend their service to any of you that want the ink gone.

Just had my first session with Removery in Schaumburg. Very knowledgeable and friendly staff here at this location. The process can seem a bit daunting at first but they explain everything in detail and answer all questions and are very accommodating and made the process very smooth. I already feel 100x better. Started my tattoo removal process almost 3 years ago and 15 sessions later and it’s still not gone. Originally when I started, I was told about 10-12 sessions. Today I was told about 5 more so another 1.5 years. I’ve had a really good tech awhile back at this location hit recently I feel like this tech has an attitude and doesn’t really tell me much about my tattoo and the plan. Will be switching to another location.

I talked to Burt. He was so nice and sweet! Gave me a lot of motivation to get through this and a speech that really helped me relax about going through this journey. Burt was very helpful and explained everything that is going to happen or that can happen through my journey. Definitely would recommend!

Amazing customer service. I love all the girls there. They are very personable, knowledgeable and make me very comfortable. I had lots of scarring, pigmentation, a keloid and minimal to moderate color removal when I went to another laser removal treatment place after 8 sessions. Ive only done a few sessions here and have had great results. Not only has the color faded more, my scarring and keloid got smaller. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Great service. Ladies were very knowledgeable and efficient. I will say dont do a consult by phone as pricing is in square inches not general measurements but wasnt really a big deal since I did consult over the phone I understood the mixup. Yes it does hurt worse than the tattoo itself but its over pretty quick and if you really want it off its not that bad just a different kind of hurt really. I cant really rate quality yet since Ive only done one session but I can tell a difference in lightness already will update as Ive had more treatments

When I first started looking into tattoo removal I was really skeptical considering the price and how many treatments it could require, however, after finding Removery on a whim I can admit how wrong I was. When I made my initial appointment (30 minutes after I called for the first time), I was greeted by friendly staff and taken back into a consultation room. After completing the consultation I was dead set on giving this a shot. I work in healthcare and figured another appointment would need to be made for the actual procedure but nope! They performed my first laser right then and there. I’ve now completed my 4th treatment and am so pleasantly surprised with the amount of improvement I’ve seen. Highly recommend!!

I stopped for a consultation and although I didn’t start the process today I was happy with the consultation. They provided good information on the benefits and risks with tattoo removal and the reasons why it’s important to visit a quality facility to be certain your skin is not damaged in the process, which is a huge concern for me. If I decide to actually get the tattoo removed I’d definitely come back to this facility. One other thing that I was happy with was the various payment options available. It definitely eases the pocket pain. Lol. I met with a woman named Vicki and I enjoyed my interaction with her. She was kind, and appeared very transparent about the whole process.

Very nice staff, they explained and told me everything. I had ice on it before the treatment so the painful sensation from the laser was not so strong. I had been elsewhere before and it was much more painful and longer. I would definitely recommend it.

Took my 16 year old daughter to get a self done tattoo removed and everyone was amazing here. She was embarrassed and nervous but they said it’s common and nothing to be worry about. I loved my experience here. I was very nervous about the laser treatments because I’ve never done anything major that is cosmetic. I know laser removal is not THAT serious but it was still a very scary thing to go about but I’m so happy I did it. The treatment process was painless I’d say a 2/10. I was expecting much worse based on the horror stories I’ve heard from other people. It’s all up to you how you respond to the treatment in terms of your own pain tolerance. I can’t wait for my next appointment with Monika I am ready for round 2!

I have been going there for some time now as the tattoo removal process takes a little longer then getting one. I am very happy with the results.I am in the process of having two neck tattoos removed. One is just about gone with no scarring or any resemblance of there ever being a tattoo. An ice pack is placed over the tattoo prior to lasering, and a cream is applied afterward, which eases any burn. After just two sessions, I could see a big difference in my tattoos! Would definitely recommend this place and will absolutely be coming back here for any future lightening/removals!

Tried contacting the shop to let them know I was going to be a little late to my consultation appointment due to Google maps not updating my route. I wasn’t able to speak with someone the 3 times I’ve called. When I finally arrived, the door was locked. I texted the number on the sign to let them know I was there. I was standing outside for a few minutes before returning to my car. After a while, I tried calling the number listed on Google but once again, I didn’t have any luck speaking with someone. After waiting in my car for about 10 or so minutes, I noticed two people walked out of the storefront. When I finally received a response back to come inside, it was about 20 minutes after I had arrived - that was 20 minutes of me waiting outside.When I was inside, I realized there were two people behind the counter who could’ve answer the phone or let me in; instead, I was loitering around outside. When I was done with my consultation and walked back to the front counter, there were two other people waiting to be seen that were able to wait inside while I wasn’t able to - which means not only was someone able to open the door and let me in, but I could’ve waited inside this entire time. The two people who walked out of Removery were able to sit inside comfortably while I was refused to be let in. The two people who were patiently sitting as I was leaving after my consultation, were also able to wait inside. I can’t help but feel like I was being discriminated against. I don’t understand what that was all about, especially if there were employees who could’ve easily let me in. The only reason someone let me inside at all was because I finally got a call back from the number listed on Google, and that person on the phone put me on hold while they contacted someone from within the storefront to let me in.This left a really bad taste in my mouth. If it really was “an issue with the texting system,” get it fixed. Regardless, I was standing outside the front door for a good few minutes before finally walking back to my car. During that time, nobody thought to get up from behind the counter to open the door to see if I was the client that scheduled to be seen at 11am.

I had a consultation for a removal of One of my tattoos. I have met with two other businesses but this one happened to be the most expensive. When I asked the lady why are they almost double the cost her response was look at our reviews and they speak for themselves. I am not sure what to take from that cause I was looking more for an explanation why why they were double the cost. She also did not provide me with a written or printed quote she simply said this is the cost and wrote it down on a Post-it note. Hmmm ok I guess. If I’m going to spend close to $1000 I need some sort of paperwork explaining the process of treatment and the timing of treatment. But she offered me the post it note with a hand written price on it. Needless to say I will not be giving them my businessAnd by the way she wore her mask underneath her nose the entire time in a closed room during our consult.
