Huge shout out to Ralph, the owner, and the staff at Urban Rebels Ink! I finally got the full sleeve I wanted. Ralph covered up two of my old black tattoos with a black & gray tribal-inspired piece containing various pieces, mandalas, and some dot work. Throughout the 6-9 hour sessions (up to 10 total!), Ralph took great care of me, prioritizing my health and comfort.Overall, the shop is clean, welcoming, and has a solid atmosphere where you can have a good conversation or just vibe out to the music. I went back for ANOTHER tattoo. This time I saw Susie and she did a great simple tattoo. I might get hate because it’s a Taylor swift tattoo but I don’t care, Sorrow even played Taylor swift music for me. They are so fun and accommodating! Thanks for taking care of me and my family!My tattoo artist Masha was wonderful!!! She was amazing and patient and very skilled. We were walk ins and they took us and helped us right away. This place is awesome!!!

First time getting a tattoo here and from first entrance they were super friendly. The stores design is also super cool and showcases the amazing artists they have there. They also have super cute and affordable flashes, mine was done by Kyle who was super cool and made the process quick, clean, and comfortable!

I asked for a tattoo with my granddaughters names with some embellishments. I got a tattoo with a great story. I was told the flowers were their birth month. When I researched the flowers. I found the exact flowers in the farmers almanac, cool. The number of each flower represent their ages at the time of my tattoo. Thanks to the entire staff. Great atmosphere.

We arrived early and they were very nice and apologize for time misunderstanding in Facebook page. They were patiently waiting for us to fill out paperwork and pick designs. Atmosphere was nice love all the art work in the shop. A little sad I could not get an answer of some tattoos on the spot but Iwill definitely come back. Thanks you Kyle, Anabel and Nicole.

Kyle was absolutely incredible. The tattoo exceeded my expectations by a landslide. He did such an amazing job. The environment is excellent, staff is so friendly and make sure to talk to you about everything that is going on. I am just so thrilled with my experience. My wife and I are on our 5th anniversary getaway and decided to get our wedding date tattooed. They answered the Facebook message and everyone working was super nice and did a great job for our matching tattoos! We will probably be back on Saturday for some more ink therapy. I went to Ralph when another tattoo artist at another shop ruined my drawing/tattoo. He could have easily said no, but because you can tell hes passionate about his craft, he decided to help me out and I couldnt thank him enough. He fixed/finished it and it came out as close to the original as possible and Im so relieved. Every artist in this place is just as good as the next because the owner makes sure of it and you can tell they love what they do. The atmosphere is very friendly and relaxed. This is the only shop I will ever go to from now on.

Phenomenal work, artists, environment, and experience. Marias fine line work and willingness to offer several sizes of templates was more than I couldve asked for. The vibe was relaxed and professional plus the curated playlists added such a fun tone to the tat experience. Will definitely be coming back for future pieces :)

My wife and I are return customers, who have now gotten 3 total pieces done by Urban Rebels. Ralph brings in great talent. My hand and forearm tattoos were completed 8 months ago, and we were so happy with the results that my wife came back for one of her own. This time around, Daniel was the artist, and did a great job with a lyric on her rib cage.This shop is professional, clean and attentive, and very reasonably priced. They also provide a laid back and fun atmosphere. The music and conversation flows no matter who the artist is, and we couldn’t be more appreciative of their work. Great atmosphere! Super friendly and communicative on their Instagram. The shop made sure I was comfortable and safe when we did more intimate tattoos. The shop is a bit hard to find but is next to the envimex. Overall shout out to Mallory for both of my tattoos.

The team here is incredible!! Custom work and fair prices. Carlos designed a mermaid for me with a specific henna pattern I sent a pic of and he pulled it off perfectly. Intricate work with maximum skill. The owner, Ralph, designed and inked my husbands D&D dragon and the 3D effect and attention to detail was incredible. We highly recommend Urban Rebels Ink!! We are so happy with their work! (*note* the dragon is halfway done and will be completed in a few weeks. Its a large piece)

Was here with a friend over the weekend she got quoted $150 for a tattoo, I had to leave but later on I was told they were made to pay $250. They were not given an explanation, very unprofessional.

Absolutely loved every second of our experience here. They happily took Myself, my girlfriend, and her sister all as walk ins , listed to our tattoo design ideas and then went to work drawing them. They were super friendly, everything was super clean and bright, so it was easy to feel comfortable and relaxed. It was easy, painless, and we all love our tattoos. Im already planning my next visit and telling my family and friends about here. Each our of artists did amazing work and took care in our ideas any how we were feeling. 10/10 HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Suzy was amazing!! I got a rib piece done and she has the lightest touch. It didn’t even really hurt as I was anticipating it was. She did a great job with the design and color work as well!

Im only removing 1 star 🌟 because I believe this place is a nice, friendly and customer oriented tattoo shop!! Price was a little high but I was impressed 👌 with the way my ring 💍 turned out.Two thin black rings filled in with a deep purple color 💜. My work will not allow me to wear a wedding ring so I had it tattooed on. My only complaint is that after only a couple of weeks, the majority of the tattoo was gone. I understand fading and my other tattoos never did this. So Im left pondering what caused it and how to fix it 🤔 Ive attached before and after pictures 📸!!Its still a good little tattoo shop!!

Ive been agonizing over how to word this perfectly, but nothing I come up with is good enough. This is a truly fantastic tattoo parlor. The artists are talented and kind hearted people that really do care about you and take pride in their work. The shop itself is modern, clean, and organized. Not to mention how extremely reasonable the prices are, especially considering the quality you receive. Personally, I had my first appointment this past Saturday and we started my double full leg sleeves project with a nautical theme, and I honestly could not be happier. The picture is of a piece in progress, please dont judge too harshly, and is also a piece Ralph (the owner) personally drew by hand, making it a truly custom piece. Thank you very much to everyone, (Ralph and Shaina are the only names I remember), excited to come back and continue working with you all! You guys are the best 😄

Initially I went with this shop for my first tattoo because someone at the shop confirmed via Instagram DMs that they had experience with my particular skin condition. Turns out that was not the case (I communicated it too during my consultation btw) but I still have wanted to move forward after the artist said he wanted to do additional research. However, after three visits to the shop (a consultation, an unsuccessful appt, and final rescheduled appt) I left shortly after arriving for my tattoo appointment without moving forward with the tattoo due being uncomfortable with the whole experience & lack of communication of who would ultimately be tattooing me until the day of the appointment.I wish I was treated with more compassionate and care from the very beginning. My overall experience was not great & made me incredibly uncomfortable as someone trying to get their first tattoo with a skin condition (which is safe to tattoo as confirmed by a physician and the tattoo artist confirmed it was safe over the phone after he had done research as well)

James really helped me find the exact tattoo I was looking for. Or actually he helped me design it. And the owner himself Ralph came to see if it could be done correctly. They really care about their craft!Which I find respectable. I totally recommend you try them out for yourself. They are truly skilled.

My friends and I were so lucky to have stumbled upon this place after an unwelcoming experience with another tattoo shop. The receptionist I spoke to was so nice and accommodating to a walk in and even suggested the best time for us to come. The shop owner, Ralph, was very warm and enthusiastic to do our tattoos, even though they were small. He proceeded to do an amazing job for all four of us and made the time enjoyable! Ralph not only did a phenomenal job, but he came in early to accommodate my hectic schedule and he touched up an older tattoo as well, and now it looks even better than when it was initially done by the other artist. Found them by chance and they definitely earned a life time customer. They take pride in all their work. They were able to fit in mine, my husbands and my mother in- laws tattoo in the same day. I will say too that they think about how the tattoo will last and what they need to do to keep it looking bold.

**UPDATEI made a previous review about a mix-up that occurred for the cost of my tattoo. While I was pretty upset at first, they totally made it up to me. I pretty much got charged double, and the shop reached out to me and offered a free tattoo. The receptionist and my artist were so sincere on the phone and I could tell they were genuinely sorry. When I went in for my tattoo, my artist totally killed it like he did the first time. Ive been to a few different shops, but this is definitely the best one Ive been to. Everyone is so nice, cares about the work they do, and makes sure you feel comfortable. Best of all, they treat you like a person and not just a money bag. Thanks for taking care of me, Urban Rebels!

Really kind employees and clean environment. Love the tattoo. Only reason Im knocking a star off is because they charged me full price even though an apprentice did my tattoo. The price was also a little high to begin with, at $200 for a single sentence. So, that wasnt ideal, but I still recommend it here.

Had a simple tattoo done by carlos and the lines were crooked and a little sloppy, not terrible but very disappointing.

I was in town on vacation. I sent in what I wanted prior to coming, and they had my tattoo sketched and ready to go when I arrived. I had to wait a little bit to get started, but only because they were busy, and I could see why. They are a well rounded shop, and well worth the wait! The owner did my tattoo and made me feel very comfortable. I couldn’t be happier with my tattoo.

Ralph fixed up a tattoo of mine I got about a year ago from a different place. As soon as I walked into this store 2 weeks ago and spoke to Ralph in person, I knew I was making the right decision. He’s super professional and a fantastic tattoo artist. The place in general has a great vibe to it and all of the artists made me feel relaxed and comfortable. Safe to say that I will be getting any and all of my future tattoos at Urban Rebels.

Susie was a pleasure to work with. She was so patient and kind in helping me and my family design tattoos to honor a pet that passed away. She made us comfortable through the whole process and had such a calm positive energy.

Me and my Mom came in and got similar tattoos on the side rib cage and we had a great experience. We worked with Cheyanne and Danny, who helped make sure that our stencils looked exactly how we wanted and in the right size. Their artistry work was great, and overall very profesional. Would highly recommend! Will be coming back!

Awesome place to get tattooed. I came here a month ago to get my first tattoo. Got a dragon tattoo on my forearm. The whole process was great. I was able to get a consultation before getting the tattoo. The owners and everyone I interacted with was great. My tattoo artist (idk if he wants to be named but his name starts with A) did a great job. Price is worth it. Anything you do here is worth it. Even while getting my tattoo, other artists came up to me and talked to me. They’re so nice. I’m making my next tattoo appointment literally after I’m done posting this lol

I have been coming to ralph for almost 4 years ! He has done 90% of my tattoos. I haven’t went to anyone else since 2017 because he values his customers and outside of him becoming my tattoo artist he has also became a friend. I stand behind his artwork and recommend him to everyone . I would rate him a 100/10 not for only the pieces he has done on me but the homely feeling I get even while being tattooed and the time, dedication, and effort he puts into his work. I was in Schaumburg doing some shows at the Improv there and decided why the hell not get my first tattoo! They were super nice and accommodating and took me as a walk- in super last minute. Like i called and then 30 minutes later i was there. It was a small tattoo about a square inch with color and it took about 30minutes! They gave me all the info i needed to take care of it afterward and im super happy they worked on it with me. highly recommend!

Randomly found them on Instagram and leaving very happy with my nerdy tattoo. Kind, great people that took care of us from start to finish. Will def be back!

Make sure you set a price before you walk in there. I was ripped for 3 letters and a wrist touch up…..to the tune of $650!!!! There are other places out with better practices & pricing.

Huge rip-off small forearm tattoo they tried to charge $650. Ive gotten bigger tattoos for a fraction of that price. They will try to take advantage of you.

Came in last night and Ray, Wolf, and Javi we’re a BLAST!!!! The artist who did my tattoo, I believe his name is Javi - took his time and fixed up a previous piece I had at a different location. I also got a new tattoo as well! I’ll def be coming back

The worst customer service ever, by the so called owner. She made promises and did not deliver. She indicated I could receive my deposit back and then refused to provide it and hung up the phone. Regardless how busy any shop or store is, when you say your going to deliver and advised on the expectation weeks prior and two days before the scheduled appointment it is horrific incompetence and poor quality customer service.
