Achilles Art Studio

I had the privilege of spending 22 hours over 3 days with both JD and Jerry! These young men showed professionalism, kindness and care with every person they came in contact with. They displayed a commitment to their art despite having to overcome some unforeseen challenges (the power went out at the venue)!!JD created a true piece of art that went on to win 2 awards. 1 for best color tattoo of the day and ultimately 1, for BEST IN SHOW!! I can’t recommend Achilles Art studio enough!

My husbands review:I had a wonderful experience at Achilles Tattoo Studio and received the exact tattoo I was hoping for from JD. The studio was extremely clean and well taken care of. All the employees were hospitable and made my wife and I feel right at home. The clean music and nearly silent tattoo guns made the experience even more relaxing than I could have imagined considering I was getting a tattoo. JDs ability to pull off a finely detailed hand tattoo with such skill and precision was extraordinary. I have been lucky to be tattooed by a few very well accomplished and established artists. I will now turn only to JD for any future work I may want. I could not be happier with how the tattoo turned out. The fine line work is truly incredible. If youre considering where to get your next tattoo I would look no further!

So I’m getting my first tattoo, I’m scrolling the web. Now understand, I’m a big reviews and research guy, considering this is my first tattoo, this was a big deal for me. Now what do I do, I pick the shop with a 5.0 out of 50 reviews. This sounds way too good to be true.Well guess what, it was. I was BLOWN away by JD, this guy is so hospitable, so personable, so welcoming, so talented. I could go on all day as to how great he was, you get the point. I was anxious, stressed, I didn’t know if I was going to go through with it or not. JD answered all my questions took his time and drew up all the ideas possible for what I envisioned. Boy did he deliver, the shop itself is such a vibe, his team clearly wants to be there and cares very much about their clients. I can’t wait to come back and work on other projects.Thank you so much JD for giving me my first Tattoo and more to come!

I love this tattoo studio. The environment in general is really great. All the artists are very friendly and outgoing. I always have a fun time getting my tattoos done. Ley is such a talented artist and I definitely will be coming back for more work :). I highly highly recommend this place to anyone!!

There are no words to describe how fantastic this studio is. Clean, amazingly friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere. Every tattoo artist is incredibly talented! JD had given me a micro realistic tattoo that looks stunning! They take their time, are reasonably priced, and have the absolute best work in the area! Don’t waste your time going anywhere else! Today I got a perfect little tattoo by a young lady named ley! She was incredible. Very helpful and patient with me ( I hate pain)… after two Bad Bunny Video (playing on the wall) I was done! The shop is very clean and the staff is amazing. They are all Spanish speakers but made sure to keep me in the loop and switch between the two languages. Wish I could give more stars! Also wish

Achilles Studio. Is an Art studio, not a tattoo shop. Artist and owner Jermey is an artist that puts the work and the customers vision and expectations 1st. Apart from being a professional Artist the customers experience was top notch and Jermey took the time to make sure the design was perfect and was what I wanted. I’ve now gone back to Achilles twice for work. Jermey is one of the best in the DMV( my opinion)work speaks for its self. Book him while you can 100.

Wife and I just got married on our 3rd anniversary and wanted to celebrate the union by getting a matching tattoo. Called JD and he welcomed us with open arms. He was very thorough with the process (wifes first tattoo) and made us both feel very comfortable. Would highly recommend JD and his spot.

JD did my first larger tattoo and it looks absolutely amazing. I couldn’t have asked for a better piece of art. Super great with communication and very easy to work with. Would give 10 stars if it was an option! JD is a professional from start to finish. Gave him my idea and creative control and he NOT disappoint! Great atmosphere, very relaxing, comfortable and made to feel at ease. You can tell he loves what he does and is a true artist! Sat for about 13 hours in one session and I tell you what, the man is a machine! Will be back to get more work done for sure!
